Best Toilet Installation in Seattle WA

Green Planet Plumbing Plumbing Service
I would highly recommend Green Planet Plumbing.  Marcus was great!
We were really lucky to be able to get them out on short notice.  We called with a backed up sink that kept making strange gurgling noises and they were able to squeeze us in that morning.
When they took a look they explained the issue (likely clog in the main line) and the plan of attack as well as giving an upfront cost estimate.
Marcus was very conscientious about working in our home and being considerate of neighbors.  He was able to fix the problem, explain the issue and explain the division of responsibility between a condo owner and the condo association so that we could request reimbursement.  He even gave us some tips for keeping our line as clean as possible and avoiding cost in the future.
Thank you!

Super efficient!  Will did a great job responding quickly to our query on Yelp and made himself available the next day. Sent him a picture (via text - couldn't make that work on Yelp) to help him scope out the small project. Very fair pricing and did a great job fixing the issue! Thanks, Will!

Stellar Plumbing Plumbing Service
I just reactivated my account to add reviews again. I've been waiting to give my feedback on Jeff. I have to say I was kind of surprised by the one super negative review.

Jeff answered my call promptly and also arrived pretty close to the appointment time. We had a leaking pipe to be fixed among other minor issues to be attended to like a broken flush lever and a very intermittent but annoying leak in the bath room sink. Since this was a newly purchased house, chose to get a professional instead of messing things up myself.

Turned out to be a good decision - Jeff spent about 2.5 hours at our place doing the repairs and the bill came in at about $370 including parts. Having dealt with other plumbers where the bill fluctuates out of bounds of reason, I felt this was kind of reasonable. Jeff was personable and polite and you can't ask for much more.

These guy are simply terrific. On time, quality work, flexibility in adding additional tasks, very courteous and convenient scheduling by Molly, although they're much in demand, so check. Price wasn't cheap but worth every penny. I trust them totally, which is rare in today's world.

West Seattle Sewer & Drain Plumbing Service
Very highly recommended.  Bill was recommended by a well reviewed appliance repair company I've also used, and I would recommend to anyone in his service area.  His office let me know an hour in advance that he was running slightly behind for our 9am appointment.  He did great work on 2 items, very efficient and fairly priced.  Some companies are hit and miss depending on who you get, but as a sole proprietorship you can rely on Bill showing up himself and doing a great job at a fair price.

Maple Valley Plumbing Plumbing Service
Dave and his team were awesome. I was looking to replace an old stove top range and they provided exactly what I was looking for. I called Dave and his team were at my house 5 minutes earlier than scheduled ready to work the next morning. His guys were quick and easy, coming in under his estimate, which was well below other estimates I received.  I will definitely be contacting Maple Valley Plumbing again when needed.

Erik D Plumber Plumbing Service
I used Erik last year to install a supply line to my refrigerator and was pleased with the job he did and the reasonable pricing. . .
Then, last week I contacted him again to perform a small plumbing repair at a house owned by a client of mine. He said he would be able to do the work, but couldn't get to in until sometime next week. I told him that was fine. The house is vacant and he could complete the project at his leisure (as long as the project was completed before the end of this week). Just to make sure he didn't forget about me (he sounded pretty busy when we spoke), I told him I would follow up with a message to him through his website, which I sent immediately after speaking with him.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday of this week pass without a call. So today I called him to find out when he expected to be able to go to the house. He remembered our conversation and remembered seeing the email I'd sent him, but admitted that my project hadn't been added to the calendar and that now the earliest he could get to me would be sometime next week. The repair cannot wait until next week, so now I am unfortunately forced to hire an emergency repair plumber, for which I assume I will pay emergency rates.
As the owner of a small business, I know what it's like to get busy. Sometimes my company gets booked out several months in advance. But when a professional commits to completing a project, I forgot is NOT an acceptable excuse!
As I mentioned at the start of this post, Erik does good work and his prices are fair, but to be left in the lurch like this is a huge bummer. I won't be calling him again. :(

All Ways Rooter Plumbing Service
Sam was fantastic and I highly recommend him! He replied quickly to my request for a garbage disposal inspection, and ultimately a replacement. He came same day and arrived when he said he would. The price was what he quoted for the work and he offered suggestions to prolong the life of my new disposal. Sam was very friendly and worked quickly!

Very happy with my experience. Needed a water heater moved temporarily while a bunch of water leak repair work was completed. Elvis and Tim(?) were friendly,  efficient, and accommodating. Wound up needing a new water heater due to leaks detected when they came out to reset the old heater. Unexpected work that they shoehorned into their schedule without issue. Highly recommend!

Action Jackson Plumbing Plumbing Service
These guys are great! I have used them on several commercial jobs-- big and small. This past weekend I had a toilet blockage and called them at 11am on a Sunday. I figured it would be several hours before someone would show and it would cost me big time in overtime. Two guys showed up within 20 minutes of my call, they had the drain cleared in 10 minutes and cleaned up the area. Rate was about what I would expect for that kind of service. Good job guys!

Layne Plumbing & Water Heaters Plumbing Service
Simple toilet repair turned in $10,000 job.
Thought I'd give them one more chance on another simple water heater supply leak and they didn't fix the leak and just wanted to replace the water heater.  Had to call another plumber who just replaced the shut off valve to the tank which was probably the issue all along.
They give fair fixed price bids, but that does no good if they can't fix the problem.

Price Busters Plumbing & Sewer Plumbing Service
Wow- how do you think Price Busters when they saved me $7,000 I nearly spent for an unnecessary repair and days of massive construction at my house? I had FIVE other plumbing outfits out to my house due to water running down the side of our driveway. All gave me bids for a broken water main pipe with repair costs from $7400 to $5000 and days to weeks of work with additional foundation holes, etc. What a headache. A neighbor said to wait for Price Busters because they're the only one to go with. When I told them our water was off they were able to get me in the next day instead of waiting three days. They came out and were the first company to actually use a scope to see what was going on. It was a blockage- not a broken water main at all. They cleared it and saved me GOBS of money ($7K to be precise) and I could turn the water back on for the first time in days! I am so grateful to these guys. By the way- the other plumbing and water main repair firms who gave me a bogus fix that I didn't need are all listed in Yelp with top reviews. Be careful! Call Price Busters- the name is goofy but they are the best!

Thank you Tommy for your quick, efficient service with such short notice! He arrived on time and fixed our leaky shower drain and was able to save our wooden ceiling panel, which another plumber had said would need to be sawed out. He got the job done, caused as little mess as possible, and cleaned up everything like it was new before heading out. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Jafco Plumbing and Sewer Plumbing Service
Worst experience ever. The person came to quote is rude and reckless. He kept saying he had never seen the kitchen sink like ours before. After a few minutes discussion, he said in order to do the job, he had to tear the whole thing up. However while we asked for the price quote, he said it would cost at least $3000. For the past couple days, we have consulted with other plumbers and none of them asked for more than $900. It's like we have to pay $109.15 just to listen to someone complain our kitchen for 5 minutes.

Looking for reliability and trustworthiness? Aaron installed the plumbing in the bathroom remodel of my home in 2006. Since then I have referred him to several of my clients and they have all given me positive feedback. He has stayed on my directory of referrals ever since. This year, Brian did the plumbing work for our kitchen remodel. Same top notch service! What more can you say.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Seattle Plumbing Service
Jim was very helpful and got my drain unclogged quickly upon arrival. Pricey but I wasn't able to get it done myself so sometimes you gotta pay up or have no use of your kitchen sink/dishwasher. Only issue I had was getting them to show up. They were not able to make it out on the day I had scheduled and were past the window the following day. I realize that things happen but calling 10 minutes before a time window closes is less than ideal. That being said, the plumber (Jim) was great and got the job done. Would use again if needed.

South West Plumbing Service
Like many other people said, I wish I'd checked Yelp too, before I called South West Plumbing. Someone else mentioned that they must be able to afford heavy TV advertising from the EXORBITANT prices they charge. I think that's very true.

I'm a 50 year old woman, and I take care of my 87 year old mother at her house. I had originally called my husband to come from Port Townsend to Redmond to fix what I thought was a totally fried garbage disposal....I mean the thing was more than 30 years old, and wouldn't run when I flipped the switch, and I smelled a burning electrical smell. Husby told me to try pressing the reset button on the disposal, but nothing happened. He was all tied up with his work, so we decided we'd better call a plumber out to Mom's house to install a new disposal. I mean how much could it be? I expected anywhere from $200 to at most, $500 for the job. Parts and labor.

I'm pretty handy, and have done some very minor plumbing work in my lifetime, but I didn't trust myself to buy and install a new disposal. HOWEVER, I'm very knowledgable about disposal prices, because my husband recently replaced our unit in Port Townsend. We paid $99 for it.  It also took him less than a half hour to install it. So my estimate of around $99 to $200 for a disposal plus labor, I figured was about right.

I looked in the phone book for a plumber. I chose South West because A) I remembered them from heavy TV ads (that shoulda been my first clue) and B) there was a coupon in the phone book for $39 off any plumbing job. I called and the receptionist was extremely friendly. I wanted them to come out the next day, and I chose a time window of 1:30 to 3:30.

They showed up early, by about a half an hour. That was OK with me. Like others mentioned, there were two of them, a journeyman and an apprentice. The journeyman confirmed with me that I was having problems with the disposal, and I told him I was sure it was fried. He said, well, maybe not. It could be jammed, and I SWEAR I heard him say that they wouldn't charge me if that were the case. So he got under the sink and showed me that there was an allen wrench attached to the side of the disposal, and all I had to do was stick it in a hole in the bottom of the disposal and twist, and that would unjam it. So *I* did as he told me. (Yep, I did the WORK). And wouldn't you know it, I switched on the disposal and voila! It worked.
So I thought that was it, and I was happy I wouldn't have to pay anything. Not even a call-out fee (which I expected). BUT WAIT. He said that by the sound of the disposal, he could tell it was on it's way out, and perhaps, since they were already there, they might as well replace it, so I wouldn't have to call them out again in the future. I said, well, OK, and asked him how much it would be. He brought out the EVIL BOOK, and gee, the prices for disposers was right there on the first page. Hm. He said the best disposal to get would be a 3/4 HP that was very powerful and had a 3 year warranty (although he said the disposal would also last as long as my current one). Price? $1000!! I told him I didn't really need a disposal that would chew up rocks, since I put most of my food scraps in the compost bucket anyway. So I asked how much a cheaper disposal would be. There was only one other option.....the cheaper disposal was $795 not counting labor. Ha.......I knew that top of the line disposals didn't cost anymore than about $350 or so.

Then he got sort of patronizing toward me. He insisted I needed that 3/4 HP. I said I really didn't have the funds to pay $1000 for a disposal, but thank you anyway. He then kept pressuring me, and I could totally tell he was out of plumbing mode and heavily into upsell mode. I kept saying no, that I would deal with my old disposal as long as it worked, and then think about replacing it later. He kept at me, and I almost was at the point where I was going to say, please get the hell out of my mother's house. I kept politely saying no, and he finally gave up. So THEN he gets out his invoice book. So I asked him, are you charging me a call-out fee? And he said no, it's $200 to unjam a disposal. Huh? I twisted the stupid allen wrench; *I* should be getting $200, not HIM. And I KNOW (well I think I know) that I heard him say the unjamming the unit was free. I bit my tongue and wrote out a check for $200. Yeah. $200 to tell me to twist an allen wrench. RIP OFF.

After they left I did some research online. I found disposals that had more HP than 3/4 for MUCH less than $795 or for that matter, $1000. I realized the prices he quoted me were more than 100% mark up!! I actually tried to find disposals that cost more than $795. I didn't find any.

LIke the others, I can say they were polite, professional, attentive and very friendly. But that doesn't make up for totally ripping people off.

So.......my husby will be coming out to Mom's in the next couple weeks and he'll be installing a $99 disposal for free.
