Fabulous On Sunday March 25th I woke up in my mother in law apartment flooded. My cousin Edith Redmond (owner) came out but could not fine leak.  Edith and I are Sr.'s and disabled. After shop vac apartment of water out. It continued to leak on Monday 26th. We then turn the main water to the whole house off.  We begin to call many plumbers and leak finders companies. Everyone told us we had to get a leak finder first. Which we did @ a very high price. He could not confirm where the leak was coming from. A waste of money. I then just googled more plumbers and Joe's came up. I read the reviews, and most were so positive. We called made appointment for next morning.
Kajik (plumber) was on time, courteous, patient and honest. He even stood by, while we had double booked with another company. Not only did we get a good price and a Sr discount with Joe's plumbing, He did a full same day complete job. Cleaned up disposed of old water heater and parts. Plus, the water tank was in a very small space, but he made it work.  Assisted with ALL questions we had. Kajik, was Fabulous as well as the office staff. We truly thank and recommend Joe's plumber. Seniors always asked for your discount

Coming home after work to a random ceiling leak on a Wednesday night is never fun. Neither is trying to find someone who can fix it without charging an arm and/or coming up with a bunch of mystery parts that need replacing.

I called 3 of the best reviewed plumbers in my area. 1st one told me they were booked for a week, the other simply did not return my call. Katie with Done Right Plumbing, on the other hand, returned my call within minutes and was able to squeeze me into that same evening.

Ben with Done Right has a quiet but pleasant presence, and he showed up right around when I expected him. Identified the cause of the leak before I was able to find a decent recipe for banana oat breakfast bar, and told me he'd return the following day with the necessary part.

He showed up the next day, again right around when I expected, and finished the repair under 30 minutes. I got the invoice the day after, and the actual billed amount made me wonder why I was stressing over it so much the past couple of days.

Needless to say, as long as Katie and Ben are still with Done Right, I don't think I'll have to look for a new plumber in my area!

The tech that came out was very skillful and knowledgeable.  He was able to locate our problem in our sewer line, it was dug up and fixed in the same day.  Everything was cleaned up and working perfectly.  Great company with a very professional staff from start to finish.  I definitely recommend them!

I wish I could give 4.5 starts.

We had a wonderful experience with Ally. Fair quote when compared to a few other companies. I appreciated the honest information to help us choose a unit and also choose to go with ally. Other companies where tossing in extra services that were not needed or didn't have a great value to begin with. Ally did some extra cross checking and got back to me almost immediately to answer my questions.

My only complaints:

1. When scheduling install we were not told that it was going to take two days. Or that they needed access to the craw space. Fortunately, I made note of a crawl space comment during a previous quote and cleaned out our storage area/crawl space the night before. We were able to work around the scheduling issues for day two. But I had to leave work quickly on the last day of school (teacher) to rush home and lock my dogs in and go back to work. Again, made it work. But it would have been nice to know that this was a two day job upfront.

2. We are still waiting on the blanket for the unit to reduce noise as it wasn't available on our install days.

Needed to replace the chandelier in our dining room above the stove.  He had to get the shop to bring a larger ladder and it took less time than thought.  Price was a bit more than we planned but it had to get done.  Great Job!

These guys are honest, fair, prompt, and professional! I will definitely be using them again in the future.

When I contacted Washington Water Heaters on a Saturday morning for a leaking water heater, I didn't expect we can still get hot water at that night. James and Steve came out to replace our 13 years old heat water with a new one on a 4 feet platform in less than 3 hours. Their speedy and professional service make our kids can have a hot bathtub tonight. Highly recommend their service.

Didn't meet my expectation at all. I bought a Groupon for their service. Groupon's deal detail page mentions 6 bullet points under what is included and not a single bullet was covered i.e. no inspection, cleaning, filter change, written assessment, etc. When confronted, the vendor said that I need to schedule another appointment with him. I decided to call another vendor just the next day (invoice attached) and he said no cleaning was done by the previous vendor (Plumbing and Heating Specialist).

We are in the process of remodeling our 1977 house. Our house is all original and needs a lot of work. We needed a plumber to help us with multiple jobs. He started off helping us fix a leaky outdoor hose faucet. We then relocated our washer and dryer, installed 2 heat pumps, 1 new furnace and upgraded our other one, removed our water heater and installed a tankless water heater. Brian came in with so much knowledge, help, suggestions and on top of all of that a positive attitude. He showed up each day with a smile on his face and happy to do the work. Brian is professional, polite, courteous and fair.  Along the way we had some unexpected fixes that Brian was able to help us with, even coming in to work on the weekend. We highly recommend Brian.

These people are overchargers. Don't waste your $75 for a travel fee. Gas is expensive but not that expensive. That's not the most you will pay, your bill will easily rack up.

Scheduling the initial appointment for a/c repair estimate was easy and the person mentioned it was a free initial estimate and there are no service charges. The technician called in the morning of the scheduled day to ask for a $225 payment for the initial estimate else you can find another person. Bad customer service, unprofessional experience IMO. I even called the company back to check again if there was any confusion, but clearly they enough customers, so pushed me away.

I was looking forward to using this company, but after calling the first time, they were supposed to call me back, never did- I figured no big deal, it was leading into a holiday weekend. So I call them this week, set up an appointment for 10am- and at 1030 I get a call that they need to push it back to the afternoon. I'm at work and I had my partner already change his work schedule to be able to do 10am. By 1030 no one has shown up and I finally get a call that they need to reschedule again last min. I understand that things come up but I work in an appointment based industry and would never inconvenience my customers repeatedly like this. I wish I could say that I would want work done but being on time and respecting others time is in tune with doing a quality job as well so I'll hopefully find a different company that can do both.

Edited to add: I wish your speed and accuracy in replying to yelp was used today and this past week. Then I'm sure I had stayed a customer.

Impressed they came all the way up to the East Side of KC in a timely fashion when local places were booked for months.

One of the worst customer experiences I have had and Kasen in Customer Service did not make the situation any better.  I had to have a wax ring replaced on Monday evening.  On Tuesday morning, it appeared to me that when re-seated, the toilet had not been properly caulked.  I called Beacon, they asked if I wanted to have someone come take a lookm I said yes.  Unlike the first call there was no mention of the $75 trip charge.  (Had there been, I would have most likely opted to have a buddy come take a look and see if I was missing the caulking.)  When they showed up on Friday, the did indeed verify the caulking had been done.  The technician today asked to see the receipt from Monday.  It did not specifically state the toilet had been recaulked.  He said when he writes the up, he includes that.  When I called Beacon to dispute the charge, Kasen was kind enough to say that because they came out and they had caulked the toilet properly, the $75 trip charge would apply.  Why?  Because of the new information as they were under the impression it had not been done.  The $75 is not the issue.  The issue is I was not told there may be a charge if indeed in turned out the work had been done.  If there is a potential for a charge, the customer should be told ahead of time.  That's my gripe with how Beacon handled this.  As Kasen said, after all we had to use our truck and our gas to get there.  Chaulk Beacon up as another company I will never been able to recommend or use again.  Lesson learned:  Ask every company that is coming to your house, for any reason, will there be a charge?

I wish I could give stars for the technician and the entire experience separately, but unfortunately the stars go to the overall experience (Josh the technician is the only reason this is not 1 star). I had an appointment from 2-4. Called at 3pm to check on status and they couldn't guarantee someone before 4pm. I rescheduled for the next available early morning (8-10am) and nobody showed by 10am and nobody called to let me know. I called the office because I had a leak that needed to be fixed so I agreed to have them call me when the tech was 20-30 minutes away. This call finally happened around 2pm. Josh assessed the leak and fixed it. He was courteous and explained what he was fixing. ~$250 to replace a tub downspout seems excessive, but it was fixed. Second part, I was supposed to get an estimate to have our sewer line fixed/replaced. I had to call because this didn't happen and the office scheduled their sister company Zoom Drain for an 8-10am slot. I received an email confirmation of the appointment and a reminder email the day before. Unfortunately, once again I waited at home for 2 hours for a no-show, no-call. I mean seriously. If I charged Gene Johnson Plumbing for the 4 hours of my time they wasted, they would not be happy. Pretty sure a sewer replacement is a pretty hefty bill. I will not be using Gene Johnson Plumbing.

These guys are fantastic.  We had a plumbing emergency (in the middle of a rainy night, of course!) and South West came in to save the day.  Our hot water tank failed spectacularly, and discovered at that time that our sewer line was in pretty bad shape.  Julio and his apprentice arrived promptly, assessed the problem, and got to work.  Mike M. came out with the camera to scope the line, and gave us more details about what to do.  Long story short: we now have a new hot water heater, and vastly improved, plastic-lined, sewer line.  Leo, Dom, and their crew came out and cheerfully and professionally got the job done on time, in fact ahead of schedule.

We watched them pull out chunks of the failing concrete, and were believers in the neceessity of getting the work done.

Everyone we've dealt with at South West has been professional, courteous, clear in communications, and sincere in their intent.  Plumbing work of this nature is going to be Expensive - no doubt about it.  But, it was necessary to do, and it's something worth doing right.  South West did it right, and we believe we got our money's worth, and then some.  

Would not hesitate to call out South West again!

You all are just one huge money scam! I'm am over you all! Don't use them, I'm about $26,000 deep in a new unit and they want more money from me after an upgrade in May because the system hasn't worked right since said upgrade! Oh, then wouldn't even do the scheduled maintenance on the unit since it's broken, which is absurd because I pay monthly for this service!MONEY SCAM BEWARE! UPDATE:: System still doesn't work after I paid for them to upgrade my system and I am still being greeted with the worse customer service! So, I am canceling all services with them. I am asking other companies for help now because we are literally freezing now! On top of all this, we are Active Duty Military and my soldier is being left in the cold. How is it that you pay for them to upgrade your new system to make it work better and now it doesn't work and they want more money just to come look at it and they haven't serviced my unit times 2 times now! How disgusting of a company is this! You all got your hand out for more money but that's it! Still a huge money scam!
