Tromborg is a true family-owned business with all the benefits of what that SHOULD mean: responsive, friendly, fairly-priced. I've been a customer for many years and have never been disappointed with their service or work for the minor to the more complex problems. It's difficult to find a plumber that fits this description but I have and I'm sticking with them.

Just had one of the most unpleasant experiences with one of the drivers that works for this company. I was taking a right turn (at a red light) and did not notice a car coming. The driver clearly thought that I was attempting to cut them off as he buzzed by me, and aggressively swerved right in front of me while yelling at my car. He almost hit my car/ran me off the road in a residential part of sf. I followed him to see where he works as I noted that he was in a worker's van with writing on the side if it. He noticed me tailing him, slammed on the breaks, exited his car and screamed at me at the top of his lungs (to be clear he screamed his company's phone number at me! Made it all the easier to call his supervisor asap, thanks!). Cannot say that I will ever hire a company that employs people with rage issues. Cannot imagine how this guy deals with customers on a daily basis. I suggest that anybody who reads this else takes their business elsewhere as the employees here are clearly unprofessional and do not respect the fact that they are driving a car that is a moving billboard! Such a shame that this employee is so angry and vindictive...maybe they do good work! Get help, mental health is important!

These guys do great work, fairly priced and quick gets the job done. The amazing heated floors work great in the winter time and also helps keep the house warm and cozy. If you are considering getting wood floors I recommend getting the heated flooring, its a great saver with energy costs as well. Awesome people! Highly recommended.

They just installed a new heater for us and the process was so smooth.  I would like to put a special shout out to Ron Willis and Wes Willis - they both went above and beyond.  They were professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful.  Ron showed up early so we could make our morning appointment and Wes was very helpful in explaining the system to me.  I would definitely recommend this company and plan to use them for all my future plumbing needs.

Got stuck in a bad situation with a leaking water heater and a no show by another plumber on a friday afternoon.  They came out and replaced water heater in less than 3 hours from original call.  Amazing service and great technicians.  Highly recommended!

Charlie was great.  He came to our house, replaced 3 sink washers.  They work great now.  He was a little hard to get on the phone but since this clearly was not an urgent matter - It was not a big deal.  We certainly will use him again.

The lights in my daughter's one-year-old ceiling fan suddenly failed--right in the middle of her urgent Finals Week studies. Reading the great reviews other customers gave Berkeley Home Repair (BHR), I took a chance and called them to schedule a service call; owner, Damon, set me up for the next day. The repair technician, Brian--who I soon learned is also Damon's brother--arrived ahead of schedule, and he promptly got to work troubleshooting our issue. Brian soon zeroed in on a bad resistor in the fan assembly's light box. My wife had previously ordered a new ceiling fan as a replacement just in case; so Brian offered to either switch out that assembly's light box, or replace the old, existing fan entirely. I chose the latter option, and Brian had the replacement installed within about 20 minutes. Even better, Brian whisked away all the old parts and packaging to save me valuable space in my waste/recycling bins. I'm very pleased with BHR's--and technician Brian's--prompt, friendly service. (I only wish I'd been better prepared to discuss Brian's other apparent specialty: Stephen King novels!)

My wife and I will definitely call Berkeley Home Repair the next time a home maintenance issue arises (as they seem to, regularly!) around our house. Thank you, BHR!

Prompt response to phone inquiries as well as helpful in person.  Provided my parts at a reasonable price.   I'm happy to give them my business.

With backup in our sink and poor drainage out of our washer I knew we had a problem. I called Flow Masters in the morning and they arrived in the afternoon - thank goodness! It took several attempts to track the backup point but they found a huge problem with pipe connections that had stopped the flow of toilet paper. They corrected the connections & increased the pipe diameter and we're good to go! The team was professional, polite, kept us informed and were really tidy. I highly recommend Flow Masters.

Ivan is a great plumber & his prices are very reasonable. He did a gas line for a fireplace & fixed a leak in drain pipe for me. I strongly recommend him & continue to use him for any of my plumbing problems or remodels.

We're a condo complex.  Everett committed to doing a sewer lateral job for us.  They got part way through it and disappeared.  We have paid them for everything they've done, promptly.  Last we heard they were returning at the end of September to complete work and we never heard from them again. They won't answer calls or emails.  Tremendous disappointment, and as a result, I would not recommend Everett for anything.  They are undependable, incommunicative, and I can only sum it up by saying unprofessional.  If there is some hardship they are experiencing, we're all ears.  All you have to do is let us know you can't perform, and recommend another service that can complete the work they started.  But they did not do that.  No communication at all. November, 2018.

Technician was on-time, professional and responsive. I can confidently recommend Jazz for furnace review and maintenance.

I had an odd request for the second story of the townhouse I rent:  I needed an outlet properly grounded (for the sake of having a proper hookup for grounded sleep, an Earthing alternative). This project was really important to me.

Richard arrived within the timeframe I requested; he was prompt and professional, realistic, and jumped right in with assessing the situation with our outlets. Not only did he explain in detail what he saw happening with the electrical -- he also took the time to sit down with me and brainstorm a few creative options for how the job could best be executed, where it seemed there'd be only one way to go about the grounding rod installation I needed.

Unfortunately for me, after he spoke with his manager and we concluded there would be no economic way to see the project through. That said, I was impressed with how both Richard and his team handled the situation. I would definitely recommend these folks and will look them up again in the future when I need to hire.

Victor was able to help me out last minute with a clogged toilet. He was very efficient and professional. He explained things well and was even available for follow up questions. Super friendly. I was lucky he was available. I will definitely be calling him again for my plumbing issues.

I was able to get an appointment quickly. Jose came out on time, was able to find the problem and correct exactly what was needed. This was a great result and I would strongly recommend Jose and Bellows to everyone. I will be using Bello

We had a defective gas stove in living room. Despite three visits and charges it was not working. The area was freezing. Conor and Local Plumbing diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and the stove works like new. He even showed us how the remote control worked- no vendor ever bothered to do this.   In an area where there are so many options, you'd be well-advised to use Local Plumbing.

Charles removed our old kitchen faucet and installed a new one. There were some unexpected issues: a crack in our P-pipe (so that's why it's always damp under the sink), a missing washer, and a flex hose that wasn't long enough, but he handled everything. He was friendly, communicative, and very affordable.

I have found Nahman Plumbers to be extremely helpful and responsive. Recently the tank on my toilet cracked on a Sunday night leaking water everywhere. Despite some challenges on their end Nahman got a repair person to me the next day and everything was quickly fixed and working. I am always impressed by the professionalism of their people.

My heater was failing and they would have order a part, but they seemed more interested in selling me a HOME SERVICE PLAN THEN  ACTUALLY FIXING MY HEATER! Turns out The Home service plan covers NOTHING Except the. Work they do, which is a Problem BECAUSE THEY DON'T do anything, except sell the Service plan! Getting an hold ofc Them again is Not Possible. IU Had the Bank Charge back the cost of the BOGUS service service and that did get a all but, when I asked about the Part the were supposed to Order, they would have to call me back, that was 3. Days. Gab, ad Again I have been trying top Connect with a Human to find bout about the part to Finish the heater!
