Exceptionally rude and indifferent employees.  Long time customer, (but that was due to the extreme professionalism of one technician I worked with for years who appears to be the exception, not the rule..) so I feel qualified to comment on how bad they are as a company..

called in to transfer service from one home to another after moving.. the service I had was quarterly, but they no longer offer this plan.. it is now only offered at the exceptionally inefficient and unnecessary pace of every 60 days.. (either their treatments don't last long or they are trying to treat so often to inflate their bottom line).. Either way, they don't view my old schedule (or my decade long patronage) as profitable so they told me I had had to adapt or cancel, so cancelling under this sort of strong-arm ultimatum was a no-brainer.  

The original manager I spoke with, Greg,(a salesperson more than a manager)  was overly sensitive, and hung up on me for saying the word B.S. about my experience, saying he wasn't going to be swore at, nevermind I wasn't swearing at him, but at the fact that the company is not honoring my decade old service plan. I guess he has never heard this word before, because it is very offensive to him, and apparently hurt his feelings. It would appear based on this indignant overreaction that he would quit a job or sour a relationship upon hearing vulgarities not directed towards him. His manager Mark (an even higher ranking salesman) called back, and was also not helpful or appreciative of a long time customer.

This may be a blessing in disguise, because after this miserable experience, I searched online for home pest control remedies, and it turns out one can do this for mere dollars per treatment oneself.  Thanks ABC!  

Oh, and I used their lawn care one time about 7-8 years ago, and they put so much nitrogen in my yard, it died.. they had to send out crews several times to try to revive it with compost and chemicals, so be wary of that service too!

I left messages on ABC owner Bobby Jenkins phone several times, but he has yet to call me back, despite the message on his voicemail that he will do so.

***I am editing my response to address ABC's response:  just because the industry has shifted to an every-other-month schedule does not mean they are necessary.. When i was on my old schedule, once every 6 months was adequate, which is why I kept it there... In my opinion, the every-other-month schedule is entirely unnecessary, and designed to increase ABC's bottom line by squeezing in more treatments.. obviously, the more treatments you make, the more the company make.. there is nothing wrong with making money, but piling on treatments at the expense of the customer is, in my opinion, wrong.
