Best Pipe Repair in Plano TX
Very, very, very thankful to have found Professor Plumb via Yelp. Coming from out of town, I didn't really have anyone I could ask for recommendations for an honest plumber. So before committing to a plumber, I had shopped around and received a few quotes for a new water heater. One company (which I won't name) came out and quoted me at a price for which I believed was just a tad higher than what I expected in my book, and that was fine..but keep in mind they also wanted to charge and additional 1/2 hourly rate it would've taken to complete the installation (~2 hours). I also pointed out a few other areas of the home I was concerned about which were coming from the attic, but was told that it would be an additional $200 just to peak into the access panel due to it being difficult to get into. $200..? Are you kidding me? I then proceeded to inform him that I'd just do it myself, and if there was an issue I noticed I would then call him back.
Here come's Professor Plumb the next day where Amber, their office rep is always up to date on informing you on the ETA of their arrival. The co-owner, Blue had arrived within the time frame agreed upon. He took a look at everything mentioned above and proceeded to provide a flat fee, final quote for the water heater and installation for less than HALF the price of the company's quote mentioned above - AND without any 1/2 hourly or hourly charges for installation. I even asked him if he wanted to take a look at the quote I received BEFORE he provided me with one so that I could give him the opportunity to beat it. However, he informed me that he wouldn't need to since he knew he'd be able to beat it regardless. Talk about being honest.
The water heater had to be ordered and Blue was able to deliver and install it the next day in about 1.5 hours. He also took the courtesy of taking a ladder up to the second floor to take a look in the attic (free of charge) and informed me that there were no issues. What also surprised me was that he asked if he could fix my toilet downstairs as the flapper needed to be replaced. Who does that??
Suffice it to say, Blue and his company Professor Plumb is one of the most honest, fair, and customer service friendly people you will ever meet in this industry. Blue will be sure to let you know that although they won't always be the cheapest, they'll always do their best to give their customers the most honest and fair deal they can provide. Hands down, Professor Plumb will be my go to guy for ANY plumbing services going forward.
Word of advice: if you'd like to save some time just trust Blue and his team to treat you with integrity, care, and respect with extremely fair pricing.

Outstanding service was provided at a reasonable cost. We were having issues with water pressure at our house. I spoke with Chris and he gave me a highly probable reason as to what the issue was. He was able to fit me into his schedule and was able to correct the problem right away (faulty pressure regulator). They did a great nod of digging up the plumbing in the front yard without causing any damage to the grass. They cleaned up and were able to put the grass back on top. We have used him on several projects and he is definitely a person we can trust to be fair and reasonable.

Water heater install today was flawless. He even corrected sloppy work from other plumbers (replaced my drain pan and fixed the water line connections) to avoid flooding my attic. Details like that make all the difference and give confidence that the job is as done right. I appreciate Jeff and the fantastic job he did today. He eared my business for life.

Rey was terrific! On time and very courteous. A very professional man. He fixed an ongoing problem causing my kitchen sink to back up. I'll definitely keep his contact info handy. It's impossible to find a skilled plumber with fair prices. After renovating homes for 20 years, we learned that good plumbers were the most difficult to find. I'm so glad I found you, Rey! Thank you!

These guys were honest! They actually charged less than originally quoted because they found a less expensive option. Plus, they were able to come out right away.

Junior just left my house, excellent service, leaking faucets in both bathrooms and a replacement of shower faucet. Service was fast and repair was shorter time than expected. Reasonable rate. It's good to have water again:)I am a happy customer, will use your services again. Highly recommended!!

Great service! I had water pooling in my lawn and had no idea who to call since I'm new to the area. My neighborhood association had Mark on their recommended list so I called. They came out and had it completely fixed by the time I got home from work! And the price was very reasonable considering the big job. Very happy customer, thank you!

As for a simple pricing and project estimate. Business would only schedule a call with a guy that was 3x more expensive then anyone else. Along with that told me they wouldn't install water filtration which is best recommendations for installing a thankless like request.. Business seemed like they only want to do quick replacement and move onto next project. If you are semi familiar with what work is done this company will seem to avoid you to try and get more money than what a project should cost. buyer beware.

Requested a bid to take my landscape lighting electric connection (southern engineered extension cord) to a legit, code approved, outdoor electrical outlet. They were super quick to respond, give proposal and get work scheduled. Guys came out pretty much on time and got the job done quickly, left the area super clean and put all our stuff back in place afterwards. Price was right on.
I'll call them again. You should too.

While it's not fun to have a gas leak, I'm glad I used Lex's to fix it! Chris was prompt and professional. It turned out that it was just a fitting above the riser at the meter, so the cost was less than originally thought. During the pressure test, there were several other leaks found, as the system wouldn't maintain the pressure. Chris did a great job of isolating and tracking (even listened to my suggestions!) Overall I'm very pleased with their work and will use them in the future

Johnny was very neat and clean while installing my new disposal. Tested it several times to make sure there were no leaks. Gave me great advice regarding what I can and can't put into it. Even offered to put back all my cleaning products! I will be using Legacy again.

Do not recommend this place at all! Prices are ridiculous! Called them out to fix our toilet and spent over 450 dollars for it just to stop working the next day. Such a scam. I called a different plumber and he was able to remove the whole toilet and fix the issue under 200 dollars. The plumber said this was his 5TH house he's had to work on after Blue Star Plumbing tried to fix it. I do not recommend this company at all!!

After working with a few different plumbers, In-House is our favorite company. They are skillful, on-time, clean and they'll get the job done. You'll only have to fix it once if you call this company.
As a bonus, if you call for advice, they are happy to help you figure out whether you actually need to call a plumber, and they will give you advice to address your problem if its something you can handle on your own.

Fraud Alert! Please do NOT use their services. You will be left with a hefty bill and the job not done! I had regular clogged drain called home warranty they sent Saving Grace plumbing. They said they would have to access the drain from the attic not covered by home warranty they would have to charge me $200 extra. I agreed as that bathroom. To cut a long story short end of the day they charged me $400+ did NOT unclog the drain! Said they would have to come in again and cut through the dry wall under the sink run cameras etc which would be an additional charge. Sensing things were bot right I called a local plumber he came in 45 minutes later and $234 later i had unclogged drains! apparently Saving Grace plumber Nick was cleaning the wrong pipes and cut through some vents in the attic to do so and to think they were recommending further cuts and more money for a simple drain unclogging! I called the owner Joshua Brewer many times explaining how his plumber had executed the job incorrectly so please refund my money. He has not come on the phone and has not refunded my money. I FEEL SO CHEATED!
I really do not want anybody go through the same experience!
