Best Pump Pit Installation in Pittsburgh PA
The service here is impeccable. Not only is the service fast and efficient but the friendliness is what sets this business in a class of its own. Their response time was fast after leaving a message on their voice mail, which I would recommend over filling out an online form. Nothing beats picking up the phone. Matt's response from my call was quick, and diverted a service as promised. I will never refer any other plumber to anyone other than Brown's Plumbing. You won't regret it!

If you need a great plumber, Rege is the answer! I had a plumbing problem that needed immediate attention. Since I am new to the area, I relied on Yelp to help me find a plumber ASAP. To my delight, he is local to the South Hills/Mt.Lebanon area, answered the phone himself... and was to my house within an hour. He helped me avoid a potential disaster with my main water shut off valve, as well as taking care of my initial problem. I'm very pleased to have found a fantastic plumber in the area. I would highly recommend him to anyone!!!!

This company stole $100 from us and then would not provide the dye test results. It was arranged by our real estate agent when selling our home in Braddock Hills. We no longer live in Pittsburgh, so we had to trust this recommendation from a distance, as we would not be in town yet for the closing when the dye test was done.
The first tip off should have been the fact that they would not accept credit cards, so there is really no way to get the money back. After supposedly performing the test, they informed the agent some work would need to be done, but didn't provide any further details. They would not return calls to the agent or us. I called several times and as soon as I brought up the address of the home, I was hung up on. When I called back and gave the woman the benefit of the doubt by saying I think we got disconnected, she told me WELL MAYBE IF YOU WASN'T SO RUDE I WOULDN'T HAVE TO HANG UP ON YOU. I asked for a supervisor but was just hung up on again. They kept the money and never provided any other information. Because we were in a hurry and selling from out of town, we couldn't do much.
I realize this review might sound like there is a missing part of the story, but it really is that strange. They supposedly did the test, left the agent a message about work and wouldn't return any other calls. You would think they would have wanted to at least try to rip us off on the supposed work that needed to be done!

Called Mr. Rooter on a late Saturday afternoon for a basement drain backing up. Technician arrived with a few hours. After a ten minute job of snaking the drain, he concluded that the pipe was broken underneath the concrete. The bill for the work would be $4500 and he could have the job started immediately. When I was shocked with price, he said he could go down $250 if we signed the papers on the spot. Told him no and he was not happy. Called a LEGITIMATE plumber the next morning and had the drain cleared and working fine within a half an hour. These people are either stupid or con artists. Avoid these clowns at all costs.
