Best Lighting Repair in Mesa AZ

Dale recently installed several fans, a doggy door, new outlets, light fixtures, covered an old brick fireplace with drywall, mounted a Tv, and made us a beautiful mantel which he also installed. We could not be more happy with all the work he has done. Dale is very knowledgeable, fairly priced, and does great work. We will definitely be using Dale for for all our home improvements and repairs! So happy we found him! Best handyman hands down, great guy!

I don't usually take the time to write reviews, hardly ever actually. However, I felt it was extremely important for people in search of a handyman to be forewarned.  First of all, I do want to start by saying that Mike is good at what he does, so that was not the issue.  The issue was his RUDE and crappy attitude!  He is short, condescending, and has very little patience. He also has very poor communication skills, and overall I have to agree with his other reviewer that gave him a 1 star.  He doesn't seem like he enjoys what he does at all, and is very unpleasant to have in your home.  There are so many beautiful, kind, compassionate humans out there, and plenty of handymen (that are way less expensive) that do a fantastic job without the attitude.  Do yourself a favor and don't waste a minute of your energy on this guy!

On Saturday Nov., 24 2012, my kitchen sink go plugged.  I found on Phoenix's Best Resources Directory, vol6, Issue 17 that George Brazil can unplug any drain anytime for $99. I called immediately George Brazil's dispatcher and I told him about this offer and my kitchen sink problem.  I was told that they can fix my sink for $ 99 and an extra fee for coming (I believe it was $39.99) will be waived as soon as the work will be done.  However, I was told that they were all booked up for this weekend so technician can come only on Monday morning 8 - 12 am.  I agreed for this and I took a Monday off from my work to be at home for repair.  On Monday Nov 26 at 9:20 a technician came to my house.  After checking my kitchen sink he wrote me a quote: $ 289.00 for snake drain from interior cleanout; $ 369.38 set clean branch line and $630.19 for replacement of kitchen garbage disposal.  He claimed that my kitchen garbage disposal was part of the problem because according to him, it was very old.  I did not tell him that my garbage disposal was replaced a little more than 2 years ago but instead of that, I showed him this add for $99 and I told him that I wanted this work to be done for this price that I agreed on Saturday when I called the dispatcher.  He answered that the dispatcher and I were wrong because fine prints on this add said **Thru an accessible exterior cleanout so this add did not apply to my kitchen sink.  He also added that this dispatcher must be a new employee who was not yet very well trained.  I answered him that I could be wrong but your dispatched should know better and I did not see any reason why I should pay so much money for their employee's mistake.
I told me that for this price (quota) or much less I could had have my kitchen sink unplug last Saturday. After that he went outside to talk to his manager/supervisor, he returned after 5 minutes, he said that he would not do any work and I should be happy that I would not be charge any fee. I answered that I am very unhappy because I was misled by his company, I wasted my time and my kitchen sink was still not fixed.  I got from him an invoice saying client declines any offer at this time, I did not signed it because the technician refused to add the reason why I refused the service and I was not offered any reasonable offer to unplug my kitchen sink.
I strongly do not recommend this company to anybody after this unpleasant experience.

I really liked our Fixer Ian.  He was super friendly and did great work.  It was really easy to book online, and add photos for my projects, and add/delete tasks.  I already booked another appointment and hope to have Ian back to help us out. Our gate had a broken wheel and is working great.  We also had a door that wouldn't close.  He fixed the door latch but also noticed the seal was dried out.  So he brought two options to seal it and gave me the choice.

In September 2009 our A/C unit stopped working.  I called a few companies, including Diamondback Air and talked to the owner, John Herman.  He was very helpful over the phone so I agreed to have his technician come out the next day to take a look at my unit.  When he arrived he determined that the fan motor had seized up and needed to be replaced.  Luckily, it was under warranty so it should have been a quick and inexpensive fix.  The technician called John for a quote and he quoted me $485.  $485 to replace a fan motor that was under warranty and would only take 30 or so minutes to replace!  And that was on top of the service fee I had to pay.  I immediately called John myself and he gave me some song and dance trying to justify the ridiculous cost.  I told him I would hire someone else.  I paid them their $70 service fee and sent the technician on his way.  I immediately called several other well known reputable companies and got quotes over the phone to replace the motor.  All the quotes were SEVERAL HUNDRED dollars less than what John had tried to get out of me.  The next morning another company came out and replaced the motor and was in and out in under an hour.  They charged me $110 total.  I'm just sorry Diamondback Air got $70 of my money.  In my opinion, John Herman and Diamondback Air have shady business practices.  I don't know if John felt he could prey on someone because it was hot and maybe I was desperate enough to pay the money to have my A/C work again or if it is because I am female and he thought I wouldn't know any better.  Either way, I am disgusted by the whole thing.  I also found out afterwards that their license was suspended at the time.  I advise everyone to stay far away from this company.  There are far more honest businesses out there that will get the job done professionally without attempting to rip off their customers.

New home and had a random list of repairs and upgrades.. no problem for Gary.  Will be my go to for all that comes up.

Kurt returned my call very promptly, came out and fixed my door issue. Very knowledgeable man. Definitely going to use him in the future.
