Best System Maintenance in Louisville KY

We called Ratterman a few months ago to install a waterline to the new ice maker & install a replacement faucet in the bathroom.  They were absolutely fantastic!  Thank you Chad & Keith!

This week, we had water in our basement due to a stopped up sewer line.  They came, they snaked, they pulled out large roots. After all that, water was still backing up in the basement shower.  AWESOME supervisor Chad came out and also found the backflow valve had seized.  He had to clean it out & free that up. (Sparing you the gory details.) It will still need to be replaced and we'll eventually have to dig up the yard and replace the remaining clay pipes, but... We have water! We have sewer! They have REALLY been awesome with everything they've done for us in the past several months.  

I even recommended them to my parents a couple of weeks ago when they had a basement drain back up.  They were there in less than an hour, late on a Saturday afternoon and took care of the problem immediately.  My parents were extremely happy with their service as well.  Thank you Ratterman!!

HE introduced to self and let me know he was a master plumber. It's always a good feeling when you know it will get done right the  first  time. He's very thorough with everything he did, make sure it was done properly,and he didn't rush thru it,nor did he take to long was done before I had to pick up the kids. When we got home the kids were thrilled to use the upstairs bathroom.

This review is long overdue. I actually found Tim on Yelp and connected with him there last summer. We had just moved into our current house and he installed outlets in the garage. I was scheduled in a reasonable amount of time, he did the work in a reasonable amount of time, and he charged what I thought to be a reasonable price. Like he states he's straightforward and I appreciated that. The outlets work great and I'm glad I had them installed!

Ray's Plumbing and team are top notch! I was in a time crunch, my sink hadn't been draining properly for some time due to not having the financial means for repairs and a recent hardship. Rick was sent out, assessed my problem, and not only fixed it, but was very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and understanding. The cost was reasonable and since they went above and beyond, I've just found my go-to company for all future needs! Highly recommend!

This company ran a condensate pipe across a dining room ceiling to an outside wall--totally against code. The furnace installation guide warns NOT to do this. You are never to run a condensation pipe into unconditioned space. Freezing pipes cause serious property damage.  Condensate is supposed to be piped into the plumbing drain.   They installed the HVAC and plumbing in my Highlands home during a total renovation by the prior owner.   In January 2010, 2 days after I closed on my newly renovated home when the temperature dropped below freezing, there was a big leak in my new beautiful dining room. Onsite came out and corrected the installation (a $50 condensation pump kit was all that was needed to pipe the condensate into the plumbing drain), but they ignored my request to assume responsibility for the $1,600 in water damages to my dining room. (I had been told their work was warranted.)  They ignored my 10 page letter, photos, and documentation of their error.  

When I spoke to their office manager about the damage, she claimed that the remodelers ordered them to vent the pipe in that improper manner--an excuse that insults anyone's intelligence. The remodelers confirmed they did no such thing (they were relying on the plumbers to do their job properly), and a plumber is not allowed to violate codes just because an ignorant home owner told him to. But anyone with a basic knowledge of plumbing knows you don't vent a pipe with water in it to an outside hole, which will freeze, back up, and cause the homeowner great expense.  

They also improperly hooked up the dishwasher, which they did come out to repair, but why do sloppy work to begin with? Then, 3 years into my new home, one of my kitchen sinks was leaking because the trap and underneath lines were not properly hooked up to the drain. I have done a lot of remodeling myself and have never had a sink start leaking within 3 years of installation. It was an easy fix, but another indication of sloppy initial work.
