Best Tile Floor Repair in Long Beach CA

The inside of my house was in desperate need of a complete makeover so I did some searching and met with a few contractors. The first contractors I met didn't give me much confidence in their work so I was glad when I found Ixtapa Construction!

After meeting with Jay (the owner) and his business partner Alex, I found both to be very professional, experienced, knowledgeable and personable. I was impressed with the samples of their work and their  suggestions. Also, Jay has high standards for customer satisfaction (even after job completion) and that was important to me. And, although their bid wasn't the lowest, I was willing to pay a little extra for the level of work they do.

After hiring Ixtapa Construction, Jay and his team started with the master bathroom remodel followed by the kitchen remodel, flooring, baseboards, walls, doors and ceiling work. All work was done expeditiously but with attention to quality and detail. Also, I want to mention that Alex was very helpful and attentive to all my questions and all aspects of the project! I will be using Ixtapa Construction for any future jobs and I highly recommend them!!

Well, our small job in May re-grouting marble slabs in a second floor shower to stop water damage on a ceiling below became a much larger job as the leaks continued thanks to deterioration of the shower pan and sub-floor.  It required a total re-do of the shower, removing large marble slabs and replacing with marble tiles along with a new sub-floor and pan.  Mark and his team were fantastic in uncovering the problem, doing the demo, and creating a beautiful, like-new shower.  Not an inexpensive project, but necessary and Mark's pricing was very fair.  In 40 years, we've done 5 (yes, 5!) extensive remodels/additions to our home and I can't think of a more professional contractor than Mark and work done any better.  I would use Mark for any tile work large or small.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Leo. I've already gave him a great review for some work he did on my house and on a rental property from roofing work, new fencing,  plumbing and everything in between. I am now giving him another fantastic review for the work he did on another rental property that needed a complete renovation. Basically the house needed to be complely upgraded. He was able to do it all. From replacing all the faucets, re- grouting the bathtub, shower and sinks, re-coating the bathtub and fixing all the broken drawers. He repaired all the interior and exterior cracks. He added a new front door, he replaced all the blinds, he fixed the kitchen bay window. He replaced the difficult light switches for one light go on and off from both switches. He fixed the heater. He did the cement work from the front stone area before the entry stairs that had a gap between that area and front yard. Plus the plumbing that went from the sump pump out to the front yard. He was able to do all these odd repairs with no problem. He explained everything that needed to be done. He provided pictures of the problems. He purchased all the item that were needed to do the job and provided the receipts. He went out of his way to get the job done and in a timely manner. He truly wanted to help anyway he could. Plus he was so pleasant to work with. To top if off his prices were reasonable. I can go on and on but it boils down to that I highly recommend Leo for anything you need done on your property. Very solid, knowledgeable, reliable, Professional, and easy to work with. Jeremiah replaced bathroom vanity + plumbing work. Happy with the results. He exceeded our expectations.

Tomas did a great job fixing our kitchen sink piping. He made some corrections to the original piping which was not done properly years ago. Very reasonable prices. We use him again for any other work needed around the house.

Contacted Danny to have my secondary bathroom remodeled. He did a fantastic job in less than a week! He is extremely professional and knows his stuff! Highly recommend!

I highly recommend AMI Handyman Services.  Johnny Garcia Sr. hung a door for us and installed two combination door handles.  He was on time, professional, highly skilled, a hard worker, honest, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with.  I will definitely use Johnny for all my future handyman needs.

1st of all... Love the company's name. Joseph, the owner is very knowledgeable and very helpful. He was able to answer all my questions over the phone. He was able to sit and listen to all my concerns. He has a lot of patience with his customers unlike other companies they don't hear you out and don't give honest opinions. If any one needs any help, I highly recommend him and his company.

This guy is a JOKE. He thinks he is a contractor that subs out his work to his friends, then leaves them alone to do the work. If you want to micromanage his work and tell him how to do it, as well as repeatedly go over the job that was contracted, he IS your man. He doesn't show up on some days...without even notifying you.  And, he does the jobs in an incorrect order (all without apology or understandable reasoning). He doesn't listen to what is needed to be done and leaves behind a total mess for the customer to re-do, then tells the customer that they are never happy with the work. DO NOT USE THIS GUY...also, he does not have a license with the Contractor's State Licensing Board (and no liability insurance on his friends). I gave him a bag of stucco that I had, because he complained that he ran out and needed some to finish the job. When that stucco didn't work out, he blamed me and my bag of stucco. He installed door framing and let it hang over the edge so the door hit it. Again, he blamed me for not liking the work. Do NOT let him touch your home unless you want things destroyed...he blames everyone else for his inadequecies.

I was referred to Hollander by my wife's friend that had her home remodeled by him.  She said he did very good work and could work with our budget.  She was right and then some.  We are first time home owner and this was our first project.  Mark was very helpful and explained in detail our options and guided us in the right direction toward the design we were hoping for.  There was clearly set time lines throughout the project for work completion and payment.  All the times lines were met and everything went smoothly.  Mark took the time to design different options to fall with-in our budget and made the whole process easy.  Mark explained the differences and educated us on material options so we could decide what was best for us.  We are extremely happy with the way our bathroom came out and would recommend Mark to our friends and family for remodeling.  We have received a lot of compliments from our family and friends about our bathroom.

Very quick, efficient and did exactly as asked for my project! Would definitely recommend him!
