*BE WARNED* If you like wasting thousands of dollars and months of your life then this landscape design service is for you! When I decided to invest a bit in giving my landscape a facelift I decided to go with ABC, since they were already my weekly mow & blow service. I fully regret this decision. First, it took over a month to send a landscape designer to my house to discuss the project. That should have been a red flag right there. I was sold on a vision of how nice everything would be. The install was scheduled for another 6+ weeks from then. When the day finally arrived I couldn't have been more underwhelmed. They couldn't find a number of the plants that were in our plan and the plants they did install were the most immature tiny plants imaginable. With patience for them to grow that could have been acceptable except that so many of them died within two weeks of being planted. I called and it took several more weeks for a supervisor to come out to assess the situation. Then 6+ more weeks for a crew to come out and replace the dead plants and patches of grass (I first contacted ABC in April and at the time of this review it is nearly October). Again they couldn't find all of the plants that needed replacing and simply said someone would have to come back to handle that at another time (I haven't heard from them since). The grass and a couple of plants, including a 5' tree that was replaced all died almost instantly after install. I must stress that this is NOT an irrigation problem. In fact, I had a professional irrigation company come out immediately following the install to make sure everything was working properly.

Look, I understand that with Covid things are taking longer and supplies are harder to find, but this was still just such a poor experience. Those things could have and should have been communicated upfront before I dropped $10k+ on something worth maybe half of that at best. At this point, I'm not calling ABC back and wasting more time. Sadly I'm going to have to cut my losses and call a more reliable landscaping company. And yes, I will be canceling my ABC lawn mowing service as a result of this. Such a shame.
