Fox Service Company Plumbing Service
Just wanted to let you know that Ramon Guerra came this morning to fix our AC unit with the new TXV part. He was professional, knowledgeable and very courteous. I really valued his expertise and good work!! Please make sure that Fox Service knows that he is a valued repair person. I will always use Fox Service since your company is reliable and responsible.
Fox had installed our new Carrier HVAC system about one month ago. Again, the team was professional and hard-working. They did our install, added insulation and also insulated our doors.  We qualified for a 0 rate loan and also got a City of Austin rebate for $1800.  All in all, we have used Fox for over 15 years and always had great results!  Karen L. Rapalo Handyman Services Plumbing Service
Jose and his team were very professional. They showed up on time and checked in with me along the way to make sure things were progressing as I wanted them to. Jose did a great job of keeping in touch with me via phone call and text and they were really good about making sure they left the house locked and secure. They did a couple of different jobs for me around the house including installing recessed lighting and installing two completely new windows in a wall that had a very small window. They did excellent work. You won't be disappointed if you hire this team of people.

1st Home & Commercial Services Plumbing Service
We really appreciated the service 1st home & commercial provide.  Plumber was punctual, efficient and found the issue of our kitchen skin backup quickly after I tried my best to figure it out for over 2 days.  My only grip is I wish the price was a little cheaper after comparison.

SALT Plumbing Air & Electric Plumbing Service
First off let me say that their technicians are super professional and courteous. Probably the best interaction with service techs you'll ever have. No issues there.

The problem is they use a pricing sheet for their services regardless of how hard or easy the work is. And it rarely works to the customer's advantage. I had a couple of outside outlets that were out and a outside light that was out. I suspected a breaker issue. It was a gfci breaker and I know those can cost a little more than a basic breaker, but they take a split second to install. So I expected 2-300 for that repair. I had a Salt technician come out look at the outlets for a second, plug a tester in that showed no power to the outlets and then quote me 550ish for the repair. Didn't  check power at the breaker box or anything. So it wasn't really a diagnosis of what was really going on since they didn't trace back where in the circuit the power was still working. It would've take another couple of seconds to do that, but I wasn't done.
So it could've been a bad breaker, a bad outlet in the circuit, bad wiring, etc. But they just priced it as the most expensive possible fix and would've charged me that much regardless of how hard or easy the fix truly was.
Since I wasn't ready to drop that much without knowing what was really wrong, I went out and bought an outlet tester and a voltage tester and checked the outlet, which of course didn't have power. But the breaker that I thought was the culprit was hot. I pulled off the outlet and the wires were hot, so I knew it was either a bad outlet or a miswired outlet.
It ended up being an incorrectly wired outlet that was affecting the rest of the circuit, so that's why the other outlets weren't working. It ended up taking me about 30 minutes of diagnostic time and 10 minutes to fix. No cost in materials. Not exactly what I would call an over $500 job like they were planning on charging me...
Again, the techs are super friendly and the service is professional. But the flat rate charging they do is a complete rip off and they definitely lost a customer. Which is unfortunate for them because I used them previously for a hot tub job that got them over $1,000 in business, and had planned on using them for other things in the future.
If you have money to burn and care mainly about customer service and a good quality job, then they're great. But if your like me and you live paycheck to paycheck and care about service, but also care about not being overcharged, then find another service provider.

Jon Wayne Heating & Air Conditioning Plumbing Service
If you are looking for a company that will schedule you a week out and then cancel the day before they are schedule to show up, then Jon Wayne is the company for you. I made an appointment with their office over the phone on Feb 18 and I requested to be put on their urgent list. The customer service representative for the company scheduled me for Feb 26. On Feb 25 (the day before they were scheduled to arrive), I received a call from a Jon Wayne representative who informed me my scheduled service date was moved out to Mar 16. I don't think Jon Wayne's scheduling department has clear understanding over their workload because they are scheduling out dates and are not able to show up. I called on Feb 26 to let the company know my frustration and they said it would be used as learning opportunity. Thanks Jon Wayne, for wasting my time.
