Best Lawn Maintenance in Austin TX
Kinda an emergency, needed yard mowed quick. Martinez Services call texted back in minutes on memorial day weekend. He got over in a couple of hours on a saturday. Due to appointment running late had to leave him money out. He is very honest, did work. Great job, stayed in contact, sent pictures. Great guy, great lawn guy. Top notch. Hard worker.

Manny and his colleague did a super job. I called just yesterday after my lawn guy broke a sprinkler with his edger, resulting in a gyser-like gusher in my back yard. Manny and his colleague showed up very next day and not only fixed the gusher, they made some very helpful suggestions and did a nice re-adjustment to my overall backyard sprinkler footprint and now the yard is getting water in those dry spots. Nicely done! I can heartily recommend these folks.

I might use ABC again, but I have mixed feelings about a recent experience.
I called about a gagging stench from our stove; I suspected a dead rat in the kitchen vent. Their tech came the same day and tried unsuccessfully to remove what turned out to be a live skunk. He decided it could be trapped at night when it came out to eat. He called his supervisor to check on a trap, then explained he couldn't get one that day, but promised that somebody would definitely be out the following day.
The following day at 3pm, ABC called back to tell me that for trapping they would need to get a signed agreement. I explained that the smell was reduced so someone should check first to see if the skunk was gone. ABC told me that the tech should not have promised what he did, and that the first available appointment for someone to check would be one week later.
On the one hand, ABC didn't honor the word of a uniformed employee who had just spoken with his supervisor.
On the other hand, their phone staff are courteous and did send someone the day I called. It was unnerving for a while, to think that the skunk might still be there. A few days later, the skunk's definitely gone, and ABC's operations manager calls to make sure it is, and to apologize for the mixup and explain how it happened.
In summary: ABC is large enough to send someone competent out the day I needed them. But they're also large enough to sometimes be uncoordinated.
