Best Kitchen Remodeling in Austin TX
Omg, I called for some info on a disposal and the owner was not courteous. I asked about repairing a leaking disposal and was rudely told it can't be fixed, it has to replaced. I went on to inquire about his fee and his response was well, yeah I charge $115 to come out there all valid info, but his delivery was so rude I didn't even want to continue our conversation. I wrote this as soon as I hung up because that's how strongly I feel of how he spoke to me. I was very polite in asking my questions and he made feel like they were stupid questions. Won't get my business. Hopefully he changes his tune when he answers his next potential customer call.
Ha, seems like I wasn't the only one he was rude to. He got a 1 star review right before me for his rudeness.

Gilbert came to our home with a hand shake and a smile. He is a true professional!!! He replaced our garbage disposal quickly. He cleaned up nicely and he acted friendly the entire time. Plus he was flexible with methods of how to pay. Great service we are definitely keeping him as our plumber!

Steve's did some major piping repair under our home. For all I know the quality of work was good (fingers crossed) but it was the lack of communication on part of the company that was unprofessional. When we're paying thousands of dollars for a project we expect to be updated even somewhat regularly about how progress is going and when issues/delays are encountered. Every day there were new people doing the work (I don't think we ever saw the same people twice) and so there was no project manager to even figure out who to communicate with. We had to keep calling them to ask about the nature of what appeared to be additional work vs. them notifying us. And, of course, the folks on the phone are not engaged in the actual project so the information they provide is not so helpful. Anyway, we were quite dismayed when our final invoice showed an additional $1600. Again, additional unexpected work happens, I get it. But when you keep your customers in the dark until the final invoice (at which point what questions can you really ask?) that doesn't make us happy.
