6:30pm suddenly there was no hot water at the house.. and we have a young baby!! I called the warranty company they said we need to wait because it's after hours, I called Rodger plumbing and Shirly answered, quickly she advised us what to do so we will get the hot water running, Thank you SO much!! My sewer chose the worst possible time to back up, right in the middle of the worst winter freeze in decades. I contacted Mullins Plumbing via Yelp and they were surprisingly quick to respond, again given the weather conditions. They showed up the next morning and in no time had the sewer cleared. Unfortunately they didn't know what clogged the line, only that it was something hard as they were not able to obtain a sample. But they were fairly confident it wasn't roots. With all the bad weather, power outages and 50+ calls they were working for that day they were still able to schedule me in for that morning. Definitely two thumbs up! Thank you Mullins Plumbing!!!

Yes, everything sounds great on what you said but none of it is real. It's not the sales team which you tell customers are engineers... lol. There's no engineers working there, they are straight up commission sales people hungry to lie to get you up sold. The techs you send to the residential homes are ALL 100% COMMISSION as well. It is Comfort Experts policy to lie to the customer and sell them anything possible on EVERY call, not fix the problem but to get 3-5-6 items totaling as much as possible on every call. Listen home owners, this company Comfort Experts is a PEACE RATE ONLY POLICY!!! The techs can't make any money showing up to your home and finding a loose terminal on a control board they must sell you major parts because they are not paid hourly or salary. When you need service call 3 companies before you state what you need and ask them what they think of Comfort Experts, you will thank me later. Every company needs to make money but when you go about it with zero integrity it's simply a shame to say the least.

The owner Randy staggs is very dishonest. I had sent him a quote from a different company and he said he could do a few thousands lower. I am sure can you what the quote would be knowing that he has been in business for over 30 years and worked with many insurance companies. When I got the quarterback I was shocked to find out it was not only less than the other company but 10K more than the other company!!! I am sure that Randy knew this before him and he was just trying to get the $400 fee for the initial visit out of me! I think that he robbed me of the face knowing full well that his estimate is higher he lied to me!!! Stay away from this company as they are very dishonest and very overpriced, not to mention the owner is a liar!

During the Texas winter fiasco, we had a busted water pipe. I called several plumbers but all were already booked until the following week. Plumbing 101 of DFW answered my call, said they could come over the next day and give me an estimate. That day they identified the problem and fixed it. We are grateful they could come out as quickly as they did. They were very professional and courteous despite the volume of calls they were receiving and late evenings they were working. Thank you!

DO NOT call these people! I have a clogged sink - it has happened before and I had it done for $120. So I thought it would be in the ball park. These people would not give an estimate over the phone, AND they charge a $89.95 trip charge (waived if you do the service). With a $50 off online special they quoted me $321! I kicked them out on their asses and refused to pay the trip charge. I have since recieved an online quote of $175 from a company who will come out for a free no obligation estimate. NEVER use AJ's - these people are out to rip you off - anyone will give you a better price than they will!

We just had a new tankless water heater installed in our attic. Eric and Martin were the installers, and John was the field supervisor who visited with me upon their arrival and came back to check the work when it was completed. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and did a great job. I really appreciated their fast response time. Eric responded to our initial inquiry quickly and was able to come the next day and give me a quote. He explained all the pros and cons of the different tankless heaters they offered and help us decide on one that best fits our needs.He also informed me of the nice $300 rebate they were offering for a review. I would have given the same glowing review whether or not a rebate was involved! I am a happy customer now. It's certainly never good to be without hot water, especially for a kitchen sink and dishwasher, which is what that water heater serviced. I would highly recommend Eric and the crew at AAA Auger for all your plumbing needs.

So due to a conversation I had with Denise at My Local Plumber this morning, I am so incredibly disappointed and flabbergasted. Prior to today, my review would have been 5 stars. The only reason it is not 1 star as I review this company for the first time is because we have used them for past work, it was done without any issue, and customer service was great. The low rating is due to the customer service experience and decision today from the company to cease offering any future services to our family. We can easily find a reputable local plumbing company, yes, but it is just more disappointing that a company we have used multiple times in the past, that we have remained up-to-date on paying all invoices/bills, has chosen to stop providing services to us because we are difficult customers.
I called Denise this morning to try to understand their position and to get on the same page with their perspective, but could not make sense of where they were coming from. There were SEVERAL points made as to why they were refusing future service to us. Out of these multiple reasons, I could definitely understand and relate to one of them, which is a big inconvenience for businesses. It was due to a miscommunication between my wife and I --- and I was hoping they would understand that, would have billed us for it (which they did not), and know that it was a mistake/miscommunication issue that does happy occasionally. I had scheduled for them to come out to look at a leak issue but when they arrived on-site to assess the issue (less than 30 mins total), my wife had indicated to me that she had scheduled for an irrigation company to do the repair, understanding that the leak was due to a sprinkler issue and not a plumbing issue. I kindly apologized to Reuben and explained the situation, and he went on his way. He did not do any manual labor or have time to pull out any tools. It was simply a visual assessment of the issue. Having said that this was not well handled by my wife and I, and I understand that. We took time out of the day of a worker for the company, a trip charge at minimum, and caused Reuben to re-arrange his schedule to come out to our property. However, we were not told before-hand, during (when Reuben was on-site), or anytime after that we would need to pay or would owe anything for at least a trip charge. Now we are being penalized, in essence, for something we never had any control over. We have paid every bill/invoice that has come across our desk and are now having things that are beyond our control (outside what was mentioned above - which was clearly our fault) being held against us. Things that maybe could have and should have been billed to us were not (that is definitely not our fault and beyond our control) and now that blame is being put on us. I just don't understand the reasoning. If service is being refused because of the isolated incident mentioned above, I wish Denise would have simply said so. This is the sole reason we are choosing not to work with you again - because you forced us to mess up our schedule for that particular day and it was a disrespectful way you handled scheduling with us. But that was far from the only reason she brought up. Also, we would have willingly, without question, paid for a trip charge to cover the inconvenience, but again, that was never discussed before, during, or after the fact.
Without going deeper into the weeds on the conversation and issue, and based on my overall experience with this company, heavily weighting my review based on my customer service issue and call with the company this morning, I would like to encourage others not to use this company. They way they handled our relationship with us (a past/loyal customer that has up-to-date with any outstanding invoices) is unacceptable, disappointing, and very poor.
Denise - if you happen to follow your customer reviews and read this, I will hope that you will fully understand our situation, specifically the miscommunication I had with my wife at the time of Reuben's scheduling, accept our apology for the way that was situation was handled, and reach out to me directly if there is anything else other than that that we are at fault for that we could have controlled. These people are the best you could hope to have working in your home. Phillip is amazing doing everything we asked for and took the initiative to anticipate our future needs and he just did it!! His team of Trevor and Cameron were non stop action giving us EXCELLENT quality service, at a very fair price. I can say the very same for Jeff in their HVAC department. You tell Jeff what you need and just GET OUT of his way. The integrity and professionalism for Phillip and Jeff should be definite role models for anyone in their profession.

Stop, call Drain Dr (972-372-4637) instead of Roto-Rooter. They charge for a drain clean out and told me that a tech would come out to also do a camera inspection. The camera inspection never got scheduled. When I called to schedule, I was told someone would get back to me. The dispatcher told me the camera inspection was part of the service at no additional charge. The original tech that performed the drain clean misrepresented the services and attempted to charge me $100 more. My intent was to call Drain Dr, but since he was here, I allowed him to clean the drain. Won't make that mistake again. Still waiting on the camera inspection. Don't fall for the 6-month guarantee promise either.
