Their plumber came out and gave me my free estimate. I scheduled an appointment as instructed. I explained that I had nothing in writing on the price, she replied it wasn't a problem because they send the same guy to do the work. Took time off work to meet the plumber - they sent a different guy. This guy explains that the other underbid the job as usual, he leaves - leaving my door open. I call the office. The same gal claims there was a misunderstanding on the price, so they won't honor the bid. She wants me to take more time off work and schedule another appointment at a higher price.  FYI I am a general contractor so I speak the language. There was no misunderstanding. These are the type of contractors that give us all a bad name. Stay away!

I was referred to Clean Out Rooter by another plumbing company. Our garbage disposal stopped working the day before we were to host my mother's funeral reception at my parents home in Whittier. I contacted Hugo, whom I believe is the owner, and explained my urgent circumstances. He set up a time that same day to fix our non-functioning disposal. Hugo and his assistant arrived prepared and on time. He got under the sink, adjusted a few things ( worked his magic) and within 10 minutes had it up and running again in time for the reception the following day. What a savior . He asked me a few questions about my mom, (which I thought was really sweet), offered his condolences and gave me a big hug. It's people like Hugo that make this world a better place. Don't bother with other plumbers, call Clean Out Rooter for your plumbing needs. He's a kind and honest guy!

Worst business of all time. We waited and wasted two days of our time for what..no one to show up?! Saturday, they were supposed to come and fix our plumbing between 12 and 4. I called them around 3 pm. They said they dont have anyone right now to come and fix our plumbing.   I call back at 4 to check in. They dont have anyone. I asked to reschedule bc I wasted my whole day waiting around for them.  

They rescheduled us the next day (tod ay) and said they put us on the priority list.  But they  gave us a 10-2 window. I call at 11 am to check the status.  No one available even when they said we were priority.  I call back at 1215pm to check. They said they will call me In 30 min  No one called me back.  I call back at 1pm. They said  there was a delay but will have them call me in 15 mins with someone to come by. No one calls.  I call at 2 pm. Still no one!  They offered me a 75 dollar discount. I asked them how am I supposed to know what the problem is and the actual amish t is of the entire service? .  I told them unless they offer me free services and not charge me for anything I dont want them anymore. they said they cant do that. I told them well that's too bad. You lost a customer. You cant keep people waiting for 2 days or more! We would up finding someone else who charges way less and got here within the hour.. go private contracts. Screw  commercial businesses such as roto rooter. They dont care
