Best Outlet Repair in Houston TX
Very unprofessional. We waited half a day. No show and does not notify. Does not want your business.

M&R was wonderful. They were quick to respond and came out the same day. They hauled away some of my waste material, and the pricing beat all the competitors (I got quotes from many other companies). I sought advice on some other concerns, and I feel confident in their knowledge and honesty. I highly recommend.

GENERAC Backup Power - I am going to write this review in 2 parts. One is for Weeks AC for the installation/service of the generator and the second part is for Centerpoint who were responsible for installing an additional gas meter on the property.
1. Generac Installation: My wife and I decided to invest in a back up generator to power our entire house after our experiences in Ike and Harvey. We have also lost power at least 4 times a year due to a faulty transformer in our neighborhood. We live a a newer neighborhood so I would not have thought the transformers would blow so easily. Okay, we contacted two vendors to get quotes on the generator. Weeks was selected even though they were not the lowest priced. We selected Weeks because they are about 3 miles from our house and the Salesman Travis explained that an additional meter would keep us from tearing up my yard by running pipes from the existing meter to the generator in the back of the yard. The installation of the generator began on time and from start to finish took about a month. The crew were professional and routed all of the electrical wiring in an efficient manner. They also had to pour a 12 concrete pad for the generator. Kudos to Travis and his crew.
2. Centerpoint Additional Gas Meter Installation: Okay where do I start. I was told by Travis that once the generator was installed we would need to wait on Centerpoint to do their installation. Boy was he right about waiting and waiting and waiting... The generator was installed on July 10th but Centerpoint did not install the gas lines and meter until August 17th. What had happened was...I called Centerpoint to see when they would come out to install the meter on July 19th as was told they had not received a permit from League City by fax. I called League City Permit department and was told they emailed the permit (whats wrong here - fax/emails don't mix). I then informed League City to fax the permit and was asked how? I told Caitlyn in the Permit dept the fax number and waited 2 days to call Centerpoint. On July 23rd I called Centerpoint and they said they had the permit and would schedule someone to come out to install the meter on July 30th. The Technician arrived and told my wife that he could not place the meter because CP did not install the lines. I called Centerpoint again and explained the situation and they said I needed a riser before they could install the meter. Why didn't they say that in the beginning. So I asked how do I get a riser??? CP then informed me that they have to schedule someone to put one in. It was scheduled for August 13th and even though my wife and I waited all day no one showed up. No call, no show! I called CP on Tuesday and they said we were on the schedule for Tuesday 8-5. Still no call and no show. Finally I called CP trying not to blow my stack and asked who the hell should I talk to. CP gave me the number of the contractor who installs the riser and lines. The contractor said they would come out Wednesday, no show no call. I texted the contractor until he said they would be out Thursday. Once the riser was installed CP installed the meter on Friday, August 17th. The Technician who installed the meter was professional and did a great job.
Overall I am glad that we made the decision to purchase the generator but very frustrated with the process and Centerpoint's lack of customer service. My recommendation, if you are considering a generator for back up power please remember it took us 2 1/2 months from start to finish to finally have back up power. Thank God we did not have an outage or even worse a Hurricane!

We booked a toilet installation for a Friday and were given a window of 9am to 6pm. At 4:30 the Abacus plumber shows up without a toilet. Even the best plumber in the world can't install a toilet without a toilet. We called the main line and was told that we would have the first appointment on Sunday so we wouldn't have to spend all day waiting again. Then on Sunday morning the plumber calls to tell us he can't find the toilet but he might be able to locate it after noon. Unfortunately the case of the missing toilet was never solved so we won't be using Abacus again.
