Inspired by their frustrations with the mobile repair service in the the area, Vu and his business partner opened Mobile Ninja's in hopes that they could provide stellar repair work with customer service to match. Nothing not to like about this place. The entrance of this place looks like a small asian convenience store, which led me to poke my head in and ask whether this was the phone repair shop. I originally wanted to take this to the Genius Bar at the local Apple store, but they were booked for this entire week. I called this place around lunchtime and asked when their next available service time was, and I received a slot for 1pm - so quick! They charge the same amount as Apple for an iPhone 6 screen replacement ($109), the other places on South street charged $130 and 139.99, and the place in University City charges 165...

Right as I walked in the door, the man took my phone and started repairing at his counter. He was done within 20 minutes and applied a screen protector at no charge. Not gonna lie, I felt pretty bored those 20 minutes without my phone, and realized how crippled I was without my mobile connection to the world... sad truth. He gave me a $5 discount for checking in with Yelp after asking me how I found out about his shop.

Quick, friendly, and hopefully I'll never have to come back...

Did a great job, flexible timing, good price! We were able to come to an agreement that worked with my schedule.

Would use again! Even threw in a free screen protector.

UPDATE:

2 Days later I noticed that my front facing camera was not working. Brought back to Mobile Ninja to get repaired and unfortunately he was unable to help. I know that sometimes phones can be fickle but it worked before I brought it in.
Still 4 stars because I really think that he changed my screen a few more times and changed the camera trying to get it to work. He worked hard on my phone, but unfortunately it didn't fix it :-(.

Great service, very efficient and friendly! I got my iPhone 5 screen fixed here in less than half hour, which also included a 10% discount, a complimentary phone case, and some really good conversation about religion, science, travels and what not. Totally worth the money!
Also, check out their store next door which sells a wide variety of incense, herb, candles, etc.
I hope my phone wont need it, but I would totally recommend and go there again.

January 1st, 2016.
My iPhone 5s buzzes, and as I withdraw my phone from my pocket, the unthinkable happens: It slips.
It falls.
It shatters.
Game over.

Or not!
Rob came TO MY HOUSE, same day, at NO additional charge, and repaired my screen in 15 minutes for a reasonable price. Although he was willing to work in his van, we invited him in since it was 30 degrees outside, and he was very respectful and courteous.
Although I hope not to need him again, if anything else happens to my phone I'll definitely be calling Mobile Ninja for the fix!

I called ahead of coming to make sure that the fix could be performed in my limited time window and to get a price quote. I gave the make and model of the device and was quoted a price. After I arrived and the work was about to begin, he quoted me a much higher price and then refused to honor the price that was disclosed previously over the phone. He blamed it on a miscommunication o, but it still felt dishonest. We negotiated for a price in the middle. The service was fast and the screen fix was well done, but then at the end, the woman ringing me up added some additional charges without explanation. It wasn't until I asked for more information that the charges were removed. The refusal to honor the quoted price and the additional of extra charges left me feeling scammed. Maybe the fact that this business is a folding table in the back of a mini mart should have tipped me off.

See, here's the thing behind all these great reviews - they give you a discount off granted you show them that you've left a five star review first. Scam.

I went to mobile ninja to fix my cracked iPhone 6 screen. I was a bit surprised to see that the business is ran out the back of a little mini mart but whatever. I waited for about 3 minutes before the two workers (doing nothing) decided to even acknowledge that I was at the table. I was given a form to sign and then the guy requested I write a review for the discount off which I told them I would do later. The guy worked rather quickly once paid, probably fixed my phone in less than 8 minutes. With that being said, beware of quick fixes. Immediately I could tell the screen was not of great quality but hey I'm not at Apple and their waiver did indicate they could use after market pieces. Now what I didn't expect was a day later the right side of my screen completely lifting. I was given the run around when I called in and ultimately my screen although no longer cracked is still jacked. I went here out of convenience for their late hours and wish I would've just went someone more reputable. The customer service as well as the actual quality of repair does not warrant the high rating.

called these guys probably a total of 6 times over the last week and no one ever answers the phone. guess they dont need my business. id love to review their actual repair service but since I cant contact them to even get a repair quote ill be trying another repair shop.

It took a while for the work to be done because the guys doing the work tried to use aftermarket parts 3 times. I was told that the darker areas I was seeing the first few times were due to my phone being bent and dented (isn't that what happens when you drop your phone so hard it shatters the screen?). As soon as he put on an OEM screen there were no problems. He told me normally he charges $120 for that screen instead of the $80 I was charged. I obviously can't complain too much because I got the better screen for the lesser price. However, I dropped some stars b/c he really mangled the corner of my phone straightening it out with wire cutters and a dremel. I was also a little upset to find out that the $80 job is for cheap parts but was never even told there was a higher quality option.

In the end the screen looks great but I'll never be able to turn this phone in for rebate due to the now mangled corner.

I walked into the shop and asked if they can fix my cracked iPhone screen. They gave me a price and told me it will be done in half an hour. I tell them that I have work and I'll come back later for it. Vu is a very friendly guy who wants to help you. He got my phone done and it's in great condition now. I definitely recommend coming here for your needs in electronics.

Made the mistake on not coming to Mobile Ninja first. So, I brought in my broken down iPhone 6 from another service telling me it was done for and Vu asking me some background info then proceeding to break down whats visually wrong with my phone and gave me suggestions on whether or not to go on with the procedures. Vu for sure knew what he was talking about and was friendly. He even recommended me another guy down at Pixel Electronic Repairs ( on the same building row ) to further help me out. I will definitely be coming here from now on for any electronic repairs.

After getting a quote from this shop through Yelp- which came back pretty much instantly- I walked in & out within 15 min. Fast, friendly and convenient. I took advantage of their $15 off for $10 & paid $105 cash for a new iPhone 6 screen/LCD. I watched the repair process for a bit which left me relieved I didn't try it myself. Glad as hell I went here.

Located in the back of a market, so look for the sign on the curb. Super nice and accommodating employees and had a ton of accessories so it was able to be a one stop shop. Fixed my iPhone 6S in less than two hours. Felt like new.

I called Mobile Ninja as I was leaving work to inquire about my broken front facing camera on my 6s. I asked if I could make an appointment for Monday and he said he would want to see the phone and he could see me today which was great (the sooner the better) once I got there, I explained to him that my phone had been run over by a car twice and the only thing damaged was the front facing camera (I have an Otterbox Symmetry case and an Invisible Shield glass screen protector). He explained the risks (6s have a seal which the other phones don't have and by opening the phone knowing it was ran over could interrupt the seal/pressure) knowing the risks, I still asked him to fix the phone (a girl missed taking selfies and videos ) About 10-15 minutes later and 70bucks later, my phone was FIXED! Would definitely go back if I had any other phone issues! He's great

I dropped my phone and cracked the screen really bad over the weekend! I yelped a bunch of places, and this one had by far the best reviews. I brought it in today, and he took less than 15 minutes to fix it. It is as good as new! He even put a screen protector on it. It cost $85 plus tax (minus a 10% yelp discount.) Super worth it! I highly recommend this place!

Yes they were fast but your product will never be the same before the crack because they do not own authentic screens. My phone isn't the as before the screen replacement. and I paid $100 too. Best choice is not to crack the phone in the first place

This place is a little sketchy, but the man that fixed my iPhone screen was very nice and very fast. I think it was a little expensive though. I would have taken it to Apple for about the same price, but I have an iPhone 6 and the phone isn't 100% flat. Therefore, they wouldn't just replace the screen for me for around the same price without forcing me to pay for additional services. Because of this, I don't think that my new screen was put on 100% correctly. Everything seems to be working fine, but I can see light coming from the inside of the phone, because the screen isn't lined up exactly right.

They will fix your phone very quickly and for a cheap price but it's not worth it. The screens that they put in the phones are very low quality. The colors are not as vivid as the apple screen. The camera is VERY low quality and it blurs everything when you use it. My auto brightness also stopped working and the phone screen doesn't turn off when I put it up to my ear which means the mute button gets pressed accidentally all the time. I would recommend spending the extra money to get an actual Apple screen.
