Established in 1982.1982 - Younger Electric is founded by Jerry Younger in Ponca City, Oklahoma. 1985 - Younger Electric is incorporated in the state of Oklahoma. 2000 - Rod Wohl acquires Younger Electric from its founder Jerry Younger. 2003 - Rod Wohl acquires Holmes Electric from its founder Russell Holmes. 2005 - Corporate name is amended to become Younger-Holmes Electrical Contractors, Inc.

A graduate of Oklahoma State University's Construction Management Technology program, Rod has over 20 years of industry experience.  Prior to purchasing Younger Electric in 2000, Rod worked for the firm as both an electrician, and later a project manager.  As the company has grown Rod continues to be a hands-on manger who is actively involved in all aspects of running the company.In his free time, Rod enjoys spending time watching his children in sports and school related activities.  When not at the office, or at the baseball field, Rod enjoys brushing up on his golf game.
