These guys took care of me after Lowe's dumped all over me.

This is where I'll go next time I need durable appliaces.

Don't be fooled by big box store prices as Metro can and will beat them anyday.

I just had the pleasure of working with Michael Sandersfeld at Metro Appliances regarding a new dishwasher. My son had recommended him as being super helpful and knowledgeable. I just want to say that Michael was a real gem and a pleasure to work with. He walked me through the whole process on the phone and online and I was able to select the perfect dishwasher with his assistance. He also price matched the best price that I was able to find. I will definitely be using Michael in the future when I need additional appliances.

I had a service call scheduled they came out on time however I was quoted that my price for my part a loan was going to be $1200. I called GE directly got the part number and the price was $315. Will not use them as 300% markup is not OK with me

Received my new Kitchen aide refrigerator today.  During the Pandemic there has been a long wait for it.  But this wasn't Metro's fault.  Our salesperson, Taylor, kept in contact with the factory and kept us informed on the delays.  Good job to the delivery guys who were conscientious, hard working and careful moving my old refrigerator out around my large island and just as careful moving the new one in.  Good job, Metro, we will definitely be back!

I have bought appliances here a couple of times for rent houses.  They are price competitive and until now tolerable from a delivery and installation standpoint.  I ordered and PREPAID a gas wall oven and a vent hood (both white) as replacements in mid November.  George the salesman said it would be about 6 weeks before it would come in and they could install them.  The first week of January they called and were ready to go out there.  My tenant called while the delivery person was there to inform me that they were trying to get her to take an electric oven instead of the gas AND that the vent hood was black instead of white and they had already installed it.  I called the salesman and he said that he would get it straightened out.  They took the old oven and the two incorrect items.  George said that it would be about 30 days to get the correct items. I've called and George is no longer there. The guy they direct me to is not a manager-I think his name is Jared.  I've asked for the manager- Jared said her name was Marissa or Melissa- to call me but she hasn't.  My tenant has not had an oven since November.  This place is terrible.  I won't use them again.

I will never do business with this establishment again.  First, they sold me a dishwasher which was already sold an waited more than a week to advise me of such.  Then I had a problem getting the refund and the salesman was one of the rudest people I have ever met.  Apparently,  they also didn't make any attempt at finding the dishwasher I had purchased as I immediately called another business and found and purchased the exact same model.

When you walk into the store all the employees are right at the front  so they see you as you come in. We walked into the store without a hello can we help you or  a goodbye from the staff.  They acted like we didn't even exist! Worst customer service ever!

Oh my gosh.  This is the second experience purchasing an appliance from this business.  I have been so happy both times.  Their customer service is impeccable and they have just the right amount of help available to you.  They will leave you alone until you are ready for help.  But my advice is to tell these sales people exactly what you want and they will do their best to get it for you.  It doesn't even have to be in the store.

 I feel they are truly doing their best to help the customer.  Not just push inventory that is in the store.  They have earned my loyalty.

I recently purchased a new LG washer and dryer. I LOVE that they are both so quiet. I'd give a 5-star review, except when checking on a load of colored clothes I was doing and for which I had put the settings on COLD, I noticed that the lid was quite HOT. Upon inspection, I discovered that the installer had the hoses completely backwards. I'll give 5 stars to Tung who was very helpful with the purchase, but the installer gets only 1 star.

Worse place to make appliances purchase.  My parents bought a refrigerator in Nov  2020 from them and the mother board got fried ... we called them to come and look at and see. It took  2 weeks. its been over a month  and they are waiting on a part for it  and still nothing. My parents are to the point that they don't want it anymore.  They just want their money back and they won't do refunds... or they refuse refunds. There's nothing else that they can do.. I guess... then to report then to BBB  and do a consumer report.  Just be aware of then. Ask questions.  Make sure they don't take advantage of you

Went to the showroom and ended up buying a washer/dryer and a refrigerator. Prices seemed competitive and we were left alone to look on our own which we appreciated.

A day or two after delivery we noticed the top ice maker in the Frigidaire refrigerator wasn't making ice very fast. We started reading up on Frigidaire ice makers and discovered this is a known issue and design flaw. We called to speak to a manager. Sorry - all managers were out that day but they'd have one call us back. I sent an email to our salesman (R) inquiring about Frigidaire ice makers. All we've heard from management and our sales person - crickets. We did call service and they said it is a known issue with Frigidaire ice makers but they sent out a tech who reluctantly replaced the unit and even he said it was a known issue. The new ice maker is making more ice than the original but not as fast as we expected. Thanks Metro for management's concern and also our salesman return email. Probably will buy from another appliance store next time. Trying to keep our loyalty local.

Update: A manager contacted us a day or two after this posting and claimed she had spoken to my wife about our concerns.  This was not true.  Beware!

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS
Purchased all appliances for kitchen and laundry, I believed I was purchasing New appliances, I was not. Less than 60 days later the microwave broke. This business told me they don't care, and I need to contact GE (the manufacturer). They wouldn't even do that. I did finally get ahold of GE only to discover that they will NOT warranty the appliance because it is too old!  The model is over 2 years old and out of warranty and shouldn't have been sold!  So, beware of this place unless you like buying used or refurbished appliances at New prices.

To update, one of the managers contacted me and made arrangements to replace the microwave. The installer was very nice and professional. The new microwave is only a year old, which is at least better than 2 years old.

We ordered all our appliances from Metro after our house had to be rebuilt due to a fire. I walked in and saw employees testing all the appliances prior to moving in. We moved in 10-16 and the double oven isn't working. It says F45. Today 11-4 a tech came and replaced the control panel and it still doesn't work. He now says he has to order a part for the fan that will take 5 days to get. Then he will schedule another appointment. We work and are having to take off for this. We called the sales rep Tung who said it's a three times then replace. So we have to miss three days of work for a BRAND NEW Frigidaire professional oven to be worked on. I purchased a BRAND NEW one not a broken one. Why didn't the guys that delivered and said they were testing it not state it wasn't working??? They won't replace it until it's been worked on 3 times. So next week or whenever the part comes in I miss work AGAIN. If that doesn't fix it we wait again for another tech so it will be THREE TIMES? Be very aware of how they handle broken appliances.

*UPDATE*
On 11-6-19 Metro replaced the brand new broken double oven with a brand new working one.

BEWARE!!! I have never written a negative review on any type of social media but I must post this. I bought a floor model range top from metro and thought I was getting a great deal. The salesman assured me everything was in great working order. The builders installed the range (in May) and WE HAD METRO ORDER THE PROPANE ORIFICES WE NEEDED! My husband changed out the parts but the range wouldn't work. Metro gave us the name of a certified repairman. He came out 3 times and was here for about 7 hours each trip. The propane guy was also here 3 times making sure the problem wasn't on his end. After the range was completely rebuilt, metro told us it was our fault and we voided the warranty by working on it-even though they ordered the parts so we could do the work. So now I am out $2100.00 for the range plus another $500 for the repairs and still don't have a range-we've lived in our new home 4 months now. Metro refuses to give our money back or contact the manufacturer to report the defective range. I've spent several thousands of dollars in that store but I will never go back. Please be cautious and read other reviews. I'm certainly not the only person with this type of experience at this store.

I originally thought Metro Appliances selection & priced pretty good,  but since purchasing it's now a different story!  My washer isn't working for the 2nd time and when I call they ask if it's plugged in question they ask if possibly the breaker switch has been thrown they asked how long has it not worked what was it doing just before it didn't work. When I explain this is the second time yes it's plugged in no the breaker is enthroned and I wasn't doing anything with it before it didn't work I tell them I am worried this is  the second time this has occurred. I am worried once it's out of warranty that I will have to pay for this effort that keeps going on. The woman on the other end says well you can buy extended warranty it doesn't cost that much! that's not the issue! the washer isn't working, again. Metro sounds not very happy that they have to come out a second time just to see if I'm lying and the washer is not really plugged in. Shop somewhere other than Metro. They don't honor the products they sell Check the pricesand the selection elsewhere it's not worth the effort of shopping here.

My fiance and I are out shopping for a washer and dryer today and are determined to make a decision by the end of the day, so we have a list of seven places to visit. This is the third place we visited, and the first that we haven't been greeted when we walked in our acknowledged the entire time we were in the store. We have it mostly narrowed down to what we would like and only have a few questions- delivery? Haul off? But being on a sales/ customer service industry myself I highly value great customer service, and I must don't feel like I'd get it here.

Purchased dishwasher, stove top, vent a hood, microwave, oven and refrigerator for a new house from them. Purchased them a month a head of time so they would be able to order any item not in stock.  Call and set up delivery time a week before they needed  to be delivered on the Tuesday their in my area. On the Monday before delivery at 5:00 they call to say dishwasher was dropped and they did not have another and it would be a week or two before they could get me one. Not happy so talk to supervisor who is all apologetic and says she will do her best to get me one quickly.  Calls back and acts like she did me a favor by finding one and would have it in a few days.  Next up the vent a hood does not have the extenders that go to ceiling (told salesperson we had 9' ceiling from the get go and ask if  anything else was needed and she assured us it would work) she apologizes and says she will order another one. Tell salesperson again we need this to work with a 9' ceiling and she assures us that yes when the new vent shows up it will have the extenders for a 9' ceiling.  We are two weeks behind moving in to house because of their incompetence already.  Get 2nd vent a hood with extenders it is to short and tells in instructions that it only goes to 8 10 5/16. (not 9' like she assured us) When we call to tell her it won't work she acts like the installer is reading it all wrong and it will work. When I went to school 8 10 5/16' is not 9 foot. Then tell us there is a special order part that will work and it will take 7 to 10 business days to get. Tell her that wont work please see what she can do to help since this is their mistake.  She puts me on hold and never comes back to phone. Call back and ask for supervisor and was told she has already left for the day (4:00) do I want her voicemail.  I hang up get on line and order one direct from G.E. and get it 2 days later.  They will tell you whatever you need to hear to make the sale but once they get your money you become an inconvenience.

We came into metro to buy all of our applicances for a new construction home.  Not only did it take months to get a simple quote on the appliances. We couldnt get anyone to call us back when we called multiple times.  When we finally purchased over $15,000 dollars worth of appliances (you'd think we would get good service after spending that amount of money). We still are battling get questions answered.  Its impossible to get anyone to answer our questions or call us back.  We are having problems with the hood that we purchased and its been a week now after calling everyday with no information.  I have never had so much trouble with a store wanting to spend that much money with them and on top of that not getting answers after spending money there. I would tell anyone in the metro area to never go to metro. Everyone will price match.  But the amount of trouble we have had with this store is obsurd.  IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARTS I WOULD!!!!
