We got a written estimate from the owner for complete installation of shower and all materials needed. We found out this does not include drywall after they started the job even though they have a carpenter on staff. So we had to install drywall before they could do this particular shower, fine. When they installed shower pan, they put mortar around the drain only, leaving the rest of the shower pan with no support. Because our floor is not level the pan was at least an inch off the floor with nothing under it, except around the drain. I am not a professional, but we are going to be stepping on this every day, does not seem like a good idea. My husband asked two different workers on two different occasions and they said no it is fine like this. We googled it, everything we found said you need to support entire base to prevent cracking. That makes sense. So after my husband insisted, it was done but we had to supply mortar and tools to do it. Also they over cut when installing the base, leaving gaps in the newly installed drywall we now have to repair. When the job was done, we noticed stickers on the glass panels from manufacturer saying caution do not caulk inside, only outside. They did the oppisite. We looked at instructions that came with the shower, and it had pictures with arrows pointing to where to caulk and warnings again not to caulk inside or leaking would result. Now we heve to remove their caulk and redo it ourselves. If we had wanted to do all this work we would not have hired so called professionals to install our shower. I also gave the owner a picture of the exact shower head I wanted with model number. He said no problem. Installers did not know anything about it. So, now we have to intall the shower head too. Of course, they did offer any discount, but sent bill for full price. I do not recommend Sieb
