Extremely over priced. $492 to replace a 16 section of copper pipe in ceiling. It took them 30 mins and I had to bring them a ladder. The fixed worked well but the invoice was just so high. They did quote the job before the work but the ease of repair vs cost has left me with a bad feeling about this business

Over the many years of home ownership, I have called whoever had the best deal whenever I had a plumbing need. Even then, it seemed to cost more then originally stated.
During one of those times that I had a need, I called Ken Herbert Plumbing, they arrived on time, did a great job, for the price quoted, and cleaned up when finished. That was several years ago. I have only called them since and whenever I meet someone needing a plumber, I am more then happy to give out that name.

On time, under budget, looks great.  Highly recommend Ken Herbert Plumbing. Got the opportunity to use them for 3 different jobs.  They are awesome.

Loved that they showed up on time with a mask.  Also very friendly but he made a comment when checking out my sump pump it's to early for this.  I was really puzzled about that comment because that's what I needed fix.  I felt like he really didn't want to fix the problem.  Also he just told me anything not wanting to solve the real issue which was a noisy sump pump.  He did talk to me for a while about if I need a new one ( which I did not) how much it would cost which was extremely over priced.  To me this conversation justified the service fee.  He really did absolutely nothing.  Would not recommend this company at all.

We had an issue with our toilet making a strange noise when flushing and slow draining sink.  We called Ken Herbert Plumbing to look into it.  They showed up the next day at 8 am.  The technician told me that it was due to a clogged pipe from the sink to the stack.  He gave me two options snake the sink ($200.00) or cut a hole in the wall and replace a section of pipe ($1500.00).  I went with the cheaper option first.  The technician went put to his van and grabbed a handheld snake.  He snaked it one time and said that's all he could do and that was $200.00 for the service.  When he left the sink backed up and wouldn't drain at all. When my husband got off work he  was informed of what happened and contacted the technician.  Once again he said he could come back the next morning to snake it again for free or $1500.00 to cut out old pipe and replace.  My husband told him he will look into the issue first.  He missed the kid's basketball game and stayed home to work on it.  within 15 minutes he realized that the stack was clogged. He had the issue resolved in less than a half hour.  We called a professional to save time and carry on with taking care of the kid's.  Well Ken Herbert Plumbing is anything but that.  My husband called the next day, wrote emails for an explanation of why I paid $200.00 to have an issue worse after they look at it.  to this day, almost a month later and after multiple phone calls they will not contact us back regarding this issue.  This company is out to make a quick buck and scam anyone they can.  Don't waste your time or hard earned money.

My experience with these guys was not good.  I hired them to replumb a kitchen and bathroom in Cincinnati.  They were expensive, not very responsive to my calls early on, and the work in my opinion was subpar.  Then they gave me grief and threatened to send my bill to a collections agency after they forgot to bill me for the final payment.  They handled the whole thing pretty poorly.  I would not recommend them.

The technician who came was knowledgeable and courteous, but the cost was outrageous.  For $279, we received approximately one hour of labor for maintenance of a tankless hot water heater (no parts were needed).  We were told that a back flush of the heat exchanger - - which is why we called in the first place - - would require another trip because the technician did not have a pump and cost an additional $249.  So, a total of over $520 for basic maintenance!  I cannot recommend this company. There are other skilled providers who charge more reasonable prices.
