We've had multiple service calls and we were more than satisfied when they come to our home. They are knowledgeable, on time, fast and transparent with everything they do.
My water heater was leaking and nearly 15 years old. The technician that arrived was very courteous and respectful of my house wearing shoe covers. He took a look and instead of investigating the issue, suggested I just go ahead and get a new water heater given the age. Although he was likely correct he priced out my options with the cheapest being over $2500. The shutoff valve to the water heater was also broken so I was in a bad spot without having any water. I chose the cheaper option as it made the most sense given the situation. The tech spent the better part of 4-5 hours installing the water heater. After he completed and cleaned up a small stain on the carpet, he packed up and began to leave. I went down to investigate and noticed he left his jacket so I ran that back up. I went back down to investigate the work and water was spraying everywhere atop the water heater. The issue was literally worse than before and I was out $2500! I immediately shut the water off to the house call Beltz back and he returns around 10 minutes later. He had to spend another hour and a half fixing the new issue before it was completed. The tech apologized, but this could have been very damaging had I not been home or checked the work. I called to discuss the issue with a representative from Beltz and was told they'd call me back. I never received a call back. Needless to say I'll be choosing another plumber in the future!

~Overpriced service
~Initial quotes are not what the final cost was
~Lack of caring about customer service
~Will never use again
~Only writing this to save others their own money & time, as our money & time have clearly already been wasted.
As usual, I received exceptional service from Mick and his colleague from Beltz. They were punctual, professional, and thorough. I had my grinder pump in the basement replaced, as well as a few small plumbing repairs. They answered all my questions and gave me some very helpful advice. Beltz always goes over and beyond.
Mike L. was very professional and very respectful. He explained what he was doing and explained, in very clear terms, what he found and how everything looked. As always, very happy with the service and technician.
In December we smelled sewage in our home we called All Star and the man said he couldn't smell anything, that it was probably the wind changing and blowing...I don't even know what he said but he convinced my husband there was nothing to do. 'I could root around for hours and still not find anything. I won't charge you for stopping by though. And he left. I knew there was a problem we couldn't wait any longer so I called Beltz and they came the next day. They went in the crawl and confirmed the overflow pipe was clogged. They brought the rotor rooter thru my dining room and kitchen and removed the half bath toilet but failed to get at the clog that way. They brought it back outside and tried it thru the external access pipe. They couldn't get the clog that way either. They brought that thing in again took it down to the crawl and accessed the exit pipe from there and finally got it unclogged. It took 6 hrs, they had 3 men and they charged $1400.
This week, 3 months later, it clogged again and we called Tony with Drainmaster. He said
1) they didn't get all the roots in dec
2) he got it done via the external access pipe in 40 mins and charged $140
3) he guarantees his work for 3 months and also said we shouldn't have to have the pipes unclogged for years
I also want to add that when we told Beltz we didn't know if we had an external exit pipe they said we'd need to have them install one!! Beltz didn't suggest where we'd find it, they told us they would install one for us though. For $3000! So we start googling, what it is and where to find it. My husband got a shovel and dug up the decorative stone in front of the house and found the exit pipe. But as I said, they couldn't clear the clog and still had to try thru the crawl access.

I needed them in a hurry to fix an electrical problem because people were coming to stay the weekend and they came out very quickly and solved my problem. Eric was great and knew his stuff. I will use them again when I need electrical work done.
They showed up to do the work after almost a week of waiting. Here the order got put in wrong. When they showed up they thought they were doing a complete line replacement from basement to road. They were only putting in an outside cleanout. The guys were standing outside a window talking horrible things about my house. Then when they left , they never finished filling in the hole around the new cleanout. Its 60 in. Deep. Called and they said they would send someone to fix it. Well its been a week and no show. Would not recommend to anyone . for the price i paid they could come and complete the work. Very unhappy
Belts charged a 73 recent widower $4,298.99 (quoting from their invoices) in August of 2020 to Remove existing toilet and install a new American standard cadet elongated 17 inch height toilet includes slow closing seat. Remove cast-iron flange due to it rusty. Remove 10 feet of cast -iron in crawl space due to the swelling in the rust of old age. As well as cut galvanized drains and adapt plastic into the new plastic sewer. This includes materials and labor.
Then in October of 2020 came out and did a drain re-pipe 1 and 1/2 inch 1 fixture crawl space 5 feet . Remove existing piping. Install new PVC and fittings and charged him another $2,126.76.
Total charge to him was $6,425.75.
Then had problem with bathroom sink in May, had my plumber come out and come to find out they didn't do all the work they said they did. Now we have to pay another $2,700 to get the work done by my plumber. Talked to Brian, the owner, about a solution and in the end, he just didn't care what his company did or charged.
Owner will say despite his best efforts no remedy was made. That is because he offered me no remedy.
After an electrical problem with my house, Brian Beltz came out immediately to address the problem. My main meter and disconnect on my house was burnt up...quite literally. Brian quoted me a price for a new disconnect that was well under one-third of the MSRP price that I had found online. Then he called the manufacturer's engineers and was able to get me a replacement for free, even though it was several years out of warranty. Brian definitely went the extra mile and stayed in constant contact with me through the process. His costs were very reasonable for the level of service he provided. I'd use him again in a heartbeat.
