1st Choice Plumbing and Drain

Had a really bad clogged shower drain.  My wife called, Dan answered and told us he would be out to our house within a few hours; and you know what?  Unlike other places, he actually kept his promise and arrived on time.  He was very professional and courteous, explaining everything he did and why.  Before leaving he even gave us some tips on keeping our drains clog-free.  Prices were reasonable and I also liked the fact that he is local and lived right up the street from us...support local business...Thank you Dan!!!

Good service. Dan called within a few hours of my message, scheduled appt, came as scheduled and confirmed prior. I needed a special order part (seal for toilet) he ordered it and came back as scheduled to put it in. Flat rate pricing may be a bit high for what I needed, $100 + $20 for the seal ... Like 30 min job, but 2 trips to us, and toilet fixed.

He was efficient and courteous. He even answered other questions and asked input about his services. I HIGHLY recommend Dan and this company!

I had one of those plumbing nightmares that kept growing: stopped-up bathroom sink in an old home, thought I could take care of it myself, turns out the pipes were held together by electrical tape, needed to replace both the plumbing and the sink... it was just going on and on, and I wasn't saving money or time.

Called Dan, he was over at the next time that was convenient for me. He didn't walk in presuming to do the work, but he was ready to do so. Clearly explained the problems, and outlined and quoted both a short-term solution and a long-term consideration (that is necessary, pricier, but not an emergency). He didn't try to push me into the bigger project, and went right to work on the clog. Done in minutes because a) he has the touch and b) he has the right equipment. Not only that, but he reassembled my new piping and connected it to my new sink/vanity (from the L store), and at no charge added the element I needed to make it all work (because the guy at the L store barely knew what he was talking about; just a bit more than me!).

Total time was under an hour, total cost was about HALF of what I was expecting, and the work was flawless. It's now 4 weeks later and I couldn't be happier and more relieved. I can only imagine what would have happened if I'd just been a dumb consumer and called RR. Here's the thing: Dan is the kind of local, friendly, knowledgeable professional that we used to be able to find two decades ago, but thought they were extinct now. 1st Choice proves that they are alive and well, and they ought to be your first and only choice too.

I am very happy with the service I received from Dan! He called back within the hour and came out to my house same day to look at the water leak in my basement. He made it a point to fix the leak ASAP and I am very pleased with the work that was done. Dan was very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained the issue and exactly what he was doing to fix it. Very reasonable pricing as well. I highly recommend 1st choice for your plumbing needs!

I found 1st Choice here on Yelp. I found the service to be prompt and efficient! Dan had initially quoted us a higher price, he then found that he was able to fix our problem cheaper...GREAT. Again, if you are searching for a plumber, Dan and 1st Choice are the route to go!

Dan is awesome and extremely knowledgeable about anything plumbing related.  We actually had drain issues with our sewer (on the driveway) and Dan came out, used a camera to inspect it, and gave us such helpful information about what needs to be done next.   His price is extremely reasonable, and very helpful for those on a tight budget.   He is professional, polite, friendly, and again, very knowledgeable about what he does.  I highly recommend 1st Choice Plumbing for anyone who needs a reputable, trustworthy company!

Beyond great. Dan not only came over within a few hours, he knew exactly how to address the multiple exciting challenges old house plumbing brings. VERY reasonably priced, too. I couldn't recommend higher!

1st Choice Plumbing and Drain - The best in the business.
We had a kitchen drain back up, which I attempted to snake myself and failed, dislodged the corroded pipes which started to leak,  and ultimately  realized it was time to bring in the Pros.  My wife looked up the reviews and 1st Choice was a 5-Star stand out, and now I know why.  Dan Pajestka arrived in less than a day (this was not an emergency), briefed us on the problem, snaked the drain, replaced the pipes, cleaned up after himself, was knowledgeable, friendly and personable, made sure the drain worked and there were no leaks - all on the first try. This at a reasonable cost.   Dan is now our go to plumbing resource and we recommend him highly to all in the area.
