Jersey Drains Unlimited is a hassle-free sewer and drain contractor providing services to Residential, Commercial, and Industrial customers in Rutherford, New Jersey, and the surrounding areas. We provide 24-hour emergency services for sewer and drain cleaning. Jersey Drains Unlimited uses high pressure water jetting to shear off roots that a sewer snake can't. One of the main reasons drains and sewers backup is due to tree roots causing damage. Roots can enter pipes through cracks or loose joints in the drain or sewer lines.

HISTORY

Established in 2005.
Founder Craig Scott of Jersey Drains Unlimited wanted to offer a service that provided quality, along with extensive knowledge and experience. He wanted people to feel comfortable that the service they were asking for would be performed in such a way that would make them feel confident they called the right person Its about spending the time to figure out the problem then come up with a plan and execute it and at the same time be sure the customer understands exactly what is going to take place.

ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

Craig Scott is a lifelong resident of Rutherford, NJ and is focused on providing high-quality sewer and plumbing services.
He has served his community for more than 25 years on the Rutherford Fire Department in various roles and eventually as Chief of the Department.

Craig started in the trades as an auto mechanic while still in high school, then moved to plumbing at 18. Worked as an apprentice while going to college at night for a degree in business then eventually starting Jersey Drains Unlimited in 2005. In addition, Craig has extensive knowledge in building construction along with all aspects of the construction field.

Water wasn't flowing quite right out of the storm / sump drain. Finally broke down and called Jer-Z Drainz - the owner Craig came over , used some hi tech equipment with a camera to look up the pipe and found a group of roots growing in the pipe.
Long story short... after 10 min or so problem completely solved. Great, courteous customer service, explain what was going on and what was to be done to fix the problem and did it! I highly recommend this company without any reservations. Thrilled with the service and result.

Nothing but positive experiences working with Jersey Drains. We worked with them 3 times now- once for galvanized pipe removal, vanity installation, and a drain blockage in our bathroom. Craig and his team are always responsive, professional, and very respectful. We are a little far (they were recommended to us by my sister who lives in Rutherford) but they always help us out and we are so thankful.

Criag is an amazing plumber who offers a clear cut/no nonsense approach that makes him refreshing to working with. He scoped our drains and helped us to realize the true issue with our internal plumbing. He offered us low-cost suggestions for maximizing the value of our bathrooms. He truly is one of the best plumbers in North Jersey. I would recommend him in a heart beat for all of your plumbing needs.

I have been using this company for a few years. Today a young man was sent here.....he was very sweet but I honestly did not think he could get the job done. He tried 2 machines to unclog my tub but wasnt able to do it. He was kindly persistent when I wanted to just get the owner to come and fix it. I needed to get back to work and had an appointment to get to.
He finally called for another bigger and more powerful machine, which was dropped off by his co-worker and he was able to get the job done.
I have to say he was pleasant and was confident that he could fix it....which he did. He even cleaned the tub after he was done, who does that?! Anyway after all this I didnt ask his name but I think it was Alex. You did a great job. Thank you Alex.

Can't say enough good things about Jer-Z Drainz. I called Craig a couple of times about a backed-up sewage drain, which he helped unclog and diagnose. Eventually, I had to face the reality that the old pipes in my house needed to be replaced, which was a huge job. It involved bringing in a mason and digging up pipes in the yard and under the house. The guys did amazing work and overcame a series of challenges during the day to get the job done-- all for a fair price.

Everything about dealing with Jer-Z Drainz is easy, which I am so grateful for because usually what I'm calling about is stressful enough! Craig is responsive to calls, easy to schedule with, and follows up when he says he's going to follow up. He's straightforward with his diagnoses and proposed solutions, and understands that cost is a big factor in making some of these decisions. And he takes pride in the quality of his work. I enthusiastically recommend him!

We had a big plumbing job needed in our basement. The main waste pipe needed to be partially replaced. They were delayed in coming due to the snow we have had. However, they came today and worked tirelessly breaking through my basement floor and fixing the pipes. Thank you Jersey Drains for allowing me to be able to use my main floor bathroom again!

Where do I begin? Craig is an absolute professional. I am a single mom and my sump pump wasn't working and left me with a flooded basement. Craig came quickly and fixed the issue. He is professional, trustworthy and someone who I highly recommend. Rutherford is a beautiful town but many of our homes are older and have plumbing issues. Finding Jer-Z drains puts my mind at ease that I have someone to call when needed. Thank You Jer-Z Drains!

I have known Craig for a long time. Has to be at least 10 to 15 years if not more. Him and his team have done many jobs for me. From replacing the main pipe of the house to a sump pump to a leaking pipe, to replacing a toilet, replacing all the lines in the house. They have done it all. Very professional and friendly. On one or two occasions I have needed help immediately and either Craig or one of his crew would be at my house within minutes. I also believe his pricing is more than fair for the top service I have gotten. I would and have recommend there service. Craig, if you are reading this. Thanks

This was a true emergency, water started coming out of my sink as i did my wash and the basement had flooded. I called Craig and he sent Robert to respond the same day. Robert was amazing, he was professional and very kind. He fixed the sewer system but i still had an additional problem with my sink. It was 6:30 at night and anyone else would have left and came back the next day. He stayed to snake the drain and rebuilt the pipe. He explained what he was doing the whole time. What an amazing man to care about others and there needs. I highly recommend Robert and Jersey Drains!!

I called for the first time Jersey Drains and will be not the last one!!!!
They came after 45 minutes I called , professionally prepared and in 30 minutes my drain was unclogged and the area cleaned and ready to use again. Robert and Jay did a fantastic job and I am very happy with their service. And their cost was very reasonable

Jersey Drains Unlimited of Rutherford was at my home today to fix a number of problems and they fixed them all in an hour! The condensation pipe from our central air unit empties into a vertical pipe in our basement, which apparently was clogged so there was water all over the furnace room. I figured out that it was from whenever we ran the AC, and AFTER the AC guy came and flushed out the line it got even worse because it was emptying into the same clogged waste pipe as before. So, Jersey Drains was recommended to me and Robert and Marco perfectly understood the problems on the first take and were able to clean out that trap. They told me they are not only drain guys but master plumbers, so if a pipe had to be replaced, they could do that too which was a big relief.
The upstairs tub line was clogged and they snaked that out as well and did a great job, cleaning up the area afterwards as well!
The owner of the company, Craig, was very nice, smart, articulate, and a good listener while I explained the problems on the phone. He understood all the possibilities of where the problems could be coming from. The men he sent to work on these problems, Robert and Marco were bright, great at finding the source of the problems, explained everything well to me, and did an excellent job! I asked for a bunch of their cards because I was so impressed with them that I will be highly recommending this company to all my neighbors! FIVE out of five BIG STARS for all of their help!

Great sewer company. Had a sewer break and they made it a priority to get it done as quickly as possible. The owner did not want to leave us with a blocked sewer line. I will definitely be using them for my drain and plumbing needs.

Thank you Jersey Drains for saving my basement and my sanity! I called Jersey Drains after my sewer pipe backed up for a second time in three months.

In August of 2022 I had a plumber come out and claim to have fixed my sewerage drain problem along with a hefty price tag. It worked for three months and then at the end of November my sewer pipe began backing up again and even worse! I called the original plumber and he could not have been any less helpful. I was desperate and asked Cat D. for help and she highly recommended Jersey Drains (as you can see by her review).

Alex from Jersey Drains called me back immediately after I left a message and said he would be over later that day. Perfect! I was scared what he may find and how much this whole thing would cost. Alex ended up being a little later than he expected, but he kept us updated and it was never a big deal. When he arrived he was shocked to find how much sewer water came out of our pipe. He couldn't believe someone claimed to have fixed our problem. He walked my husband and I through the entire process - from snaking the drain to putting a camera into the drain to make sure everything was clear, that there were no roots, and nothing was sunken. Everything looked great!

I also can't say enough about the price! Alex did an amazing job AND for a price much cheaper than the original guy. Jersey Drains are now my go-to guys for any plumbing or drain issues. I know they know their stuff and they do it all at a reasonable price. Thank you again Jersey Drains!
