Established in 2016.
Tahoe City Plumbing & Heating is locally owned and managed by Chris and Renee Pinand, you'll deal directly with them throughout each project phase. It's their goal to ensure your satisfaction and establish a long-term relationship built on trust. We charge a reasonable diagnostic fee to show up and assess your problem. Following diagnosis, our technician provides a repair estimate and work begins when you approve the estimate. You know what to expect when we arrive to tackle your repair or new installation.

Tahoe City Plumbing & Heating is locally owned and operated by Chris and Renee Pinand. We enjoy everything Tahoe has to offer while raising our two children. I went to a technical school and graduated with high honors. I have over 15 years of experience in the plumbing and HVAC trade.

I had Chris come over to look at a few plumbing projects for me I was thinking about having done. As I was showing him what I had in mind, we both noticed my water heater was leaking! This was not on my To Do List. Chris was able to calm me down and show me what was going on. We agreed that a replacement was necessary. (It was 20 years old!)

He helped clean up the leak, shut off the water, drained the tank and went to go pick up new water heater right away! A few hours later, I had a beautiful new hot water heater installed. I could not believe the professionalism, and speed to which he fixed my problem. And they were very reasonably priced.

I also work in the trades and know good work when I see it. The lines were well run, solder joints clean, and vent piping perfect. Chris was tidy, well spoken, professional, and (for what it's worth) very funny to boot. His great attitude and speedy service helped turn a potentially bad day into a good one. I highly recommend Tahoe City Plumbing & Heating for any plumbing/HVAC needs. I'll definitely have them back to do the work they were originally there to assess.

Chris did a great job taking care of a leaking frost free hose bib that froze. It was a wacky original installation that required some delicate surgery. We definitely have a new go to plumber.

I was in the process of buying a house and the house inspector condemned the furnace leaking co gas under the house after contacting many HVAC companies TCPH was the only one that could come at a moments notice Rene in the office was amazing with my many frantic calls and a big Thanks for Chris for installing in my new house a safe beautiful heater.

We arrived at 2:30am on June 30th ready for a relaxing 4th of July holiday. Step 1, turn on the water supply....walk inside the home to find the kitchen floor quickly filling up with water from the broken water pipe!!!
In the morning (holiday weekend Saturday) we looked up plumbers on Yelp and found 5 companies to call. One was on vacation, one quoted $400 just to come out, another wanted $800 to diagnose, one admitted he was too far to help us. The last call was to Tahoe City Heating & Plumbing. Renee answered....she was kind and polite (nice change from the others), said Chris would be at our place in 40 minutes! Phew!!!! Sure enough, 40 minutes later Chis showed up with a smile on his face and a great attitude! He was super nice and started asking questions about the issue. He quickly found the source and made the repair. We liked him so much, we made him a sandwich! We took some photos of his work and the repair he made to the cabinet which was impressive. We were able to enjoy our vacation with no more plumbing issues thanks to Chris.
Do yourself a favor and call Chris if you need a repair, you'll be happy you did.

My 25 year old furnace at my Alpine Meadows home gave up the ghost a couple weeks ago. Fortunately, Chris Pinand of Tahoe City Plumbing and Heating was recommended to me. Chris initially came in and did a temporary repair to help keep my pipes from freezing. Then he came in and did the whole furnace replacement. The price was fair, the workmanship was beautiful and the house is heating more evenly and efficiently than ever before. Chris encountered several issues during the install that would have caused many tradesman to stop or delay, but Chris pushed right through all of them. He is a smart and hardworking guy and I would heartily recommend him!

Had my hot water replaced by these guys after it blew out and was leaking. They did a thorough job, we're responsive, on time (showed up the same day that I called and replaced it same day... it was leaking all over the floor), cleaned up nicely after and had a fair price. Chris is very solid and I would recommend him to my friends and family.

Chris was a refreshing change from what you often get with Tahoe tradesmen. He's very responsive, responsible and gets the job done quickly and correctly. I used him to replace a 22 year old gas furnace in an old cabin. He was ready to go as soon as I accepted his quote. Highly recommended!!!

Arrived at our house to discover it was 32degrees inside - the heater was broken. Called 12 companies for an emergency appointment and these were the guys to call us back, arrived that very same afternoon with a fully stocked truck, and made the repair in a professional and timely manner. Tahoe City Heating and Plumbing is great. After dealing with a different company out of Gardnerville I called Tahoe City H&P. They were at my house within 2 hours and fixed the problem in a very short time. Highly recommend their services.

Is this company still in business?
They did some work for me recently. I have question on the work performed and have left email and voicemail message.
No one emailed or called back. Only communication was the last bill and reminder of due date which I had already paid.

Finally-A local company with tons of knowledge and excellent customer service! I called TCP&H to service our AC units, but not only did he fix them, but he also installed our hot water spigot and resolved an ongoing issue with our hydronic system. Very prompt, friendly with attention to detail. We have found our new AC, plumbing and heating specialist all in one company--so thankful :)

I called first thing in the morning when my hot water heater wasn't working and they called and said somebody would be here that same morning. Sure enough a nice young man was here and my hot water heater was repaired in time for lunch. Albert wore a mask and put on shoe covers. Absolutely so grateful for excellent and timely service.

When Chris Pinand of Tahoe City Plumbing & Heating returned my initial call and I knew I had the right guy just by his tone. My parents aging cabin need some updating and I was feeling desperate until I found this good guy. He fixed my jacked up shower in which a crazed handyman had previously tried to repair, in part, by propping up a pipe with a rock. He then installed my new dishwasher and redid the pipes under the kitchen sink that were falling apart at the seams. His price was super fair and the work was great. We had a productive morning knocking things off my seemingly impossible Fix-it list. This is a quality guy who does quality work. Even if you don't need his services now, save this company name in case you ever do. He also winterizes cabin homes in the fall. He is trustworthy and I fully recommend Chris for any of your plumbing needs. If you see his cool truck pulling up, just know you are in good hands. Thanks, Chris!

Very responsive and high quality contractors. We had a furnace go down which required multiple visits. Renee, Albert and Nathan were amazing to work with. We have also used Tahoe City Plumbing and Heating to replumb a section of our house. Great work as well. It's always hard to find reliable, responsive and quality plumbers and HVAC - I highly recommend this team. Very fair pricing as well (I am particularly grateful they don't gouge you when it's a single digits outside).
