Amazing. I knew I had a clog but no way could I know how bad. Thank goodnes for your amazing Technian Elijah McGuire! He worked hard and got it all cleared up. Had a pipe blow behind the water heater and called Roto -Rooter n they were out with in 2 hours n the technician was named Tony Redford n just have to say what a nice guy , great customer service n very very knowledgeable, would highly recommend Roto -Rooter n I will ask for Tony for any plumbing issues going forward , he did a AWSOME job thanks Tony .

They are a rip-off.  We needed a leaking kitchen faucet replaced in our rental property.  Total charge was $682!  .   They do not carry even simple faucets in their truck, so they had to go to Lowe's to buy a faucet.  The faucet cost $169, but they added a markup of $178 on the faucet.  Then the faucet replacement labor was $335.  So, all in all, $682 to replace one faucet!!!

Beware. After Pat below referred me to a local contractor who was assigned my business, no one ever contacted me or had any interest in resolving this issue or to discuss the AHA! Style of salesmanship used. To boot, the problem has returned, but I will choose to use a company that values its customers and which seeks to resolve problems and actually perform work and repairs.

I'm clogged my toilet for $317 dollars. He was there less than an hour. A very high cost for minimal work. He did get it fixed as it did have pressure problems.

This is from a while ago I was gonna let it go I felt bad for the guy but I just can't let it go anymore the problem is getting worse and worse when he took the toilet off he didn't drain it so all the water went all over my wood floors and he did nothing to clean it up now my floors are warped I would've cleaned it up but I don't hover I didn't know until it was too late
Now my wood floor is lifting and splintering
And is ruined
Then I ended up having to redo the plumbing in the front where he could not replace my artificial grass properly and they left a big huge hole in my concrete and didn't replace it
I feel like you're not supposed to do that the plumbing is fixed but the job is not finished and for $7500 that huge hole should have been filled

We called for same day service and got an appointment that afternoon. We then received a call late afternoon asking if we could reschedule for the next day and were highly encouraged to postpone. We declined and were then told our plumber would arrive around 6pm. When no showed by 7pm we called again and were told he was on his way.
The plumber came and took a look but had no parts. He went to the store and by the time he got back it was 8:30pm. He fixed our leaking sink and then got started on the shower. The shower turned out to be a bigger deal than expected and the poor guy tried his best for 2hrs without a result (I think he was new). He called his manager and a few of his coworkers but no one would come out to help him. He kept going back outside to his truck and every time he came back into the house he didn't put covers over his dirty shoes and walked all over our house and bedroom carpet. Once 10:30pm hit we had to ask him to leave so we could go to sleep. The next day we called another service and they had to fix the sink again (which was done wrong), and fixed the shower in no time.

my toilet has been out for a few days. I work a 9-5 so getting time off of work has been hard. I call this place and they have same day availability! great. i'm lucky enough to snag some time off work to finally get this fixed. I leave work 3 hours early to be called 30 min before our scheduled time that they can't make it out today but they can come first thing in the morning... ok. the window of arrival is 8-10am. I get my first call at 11 am thinking theyre finally here - she's calling to tell me she couldn't get ahold of me so my service is canceled? I call back and suddenly they can still come today. I say ok. i've now sat inside my house with no plumbing waiting for these people from 8 am to 4 pm. no call. not keeping me in the loop with anything. super unprofessional to waste someone's time like this.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! Complete rip off and they should be ashamed of themselves! Quoted $700 for a sink install that already had all the plumbing ready to go  and new sink with faucet we're assembled, just needed to be hooked up. They said $195/hr for labor but could not explain where the added $500 was coming from. If I could give less then 1 star I would ! Absolutely disgusting!

5 stars for Tyler! He was knowledgeable, friendly, professional and followed Covid 19 safety protocols.

We had a clogged sink for the last 4 days and tried everything Google recommended to fix it. Needless to say, everything we tried failed.

Our technician Tyler arrived promptly and kept in communication with us, so as not to disturb our schedules. He asked us several questions on our sink and had it fixed in record time. I highly recommend this company, especially if they are staffed with more employees like him. I definitely will be calling them again if we have an issues in the future.

I called Sunday for same day appt it was immediately changed though it showed available. Scheduled for next day by Tiffany. She then calls me an hour prior to appt and states plumber has emergency and needs to schedule for yesterday morning I agree. We go over cost and even after changing appt last minute refused to honor coupon and veteran discount together. The appt is then scheduled for the first thing Tuesday morning 8-10a. I waited and called at 12p and not only does Tiffany get rude and snippy she then states plumber had emergency and they can come after. Well, why would I need to call after appt time and then you come with this energy? DO NOT USE ROTO ROOTER unless you want time wasted, a rude customer service experience, and no work done.

In May 16  my sewer backed up. Several years ago I had used Roto Rooter and had been very satisfied. I called and they showed up the next day. They got the standing water to go and I paid $200. Two days later I had a terrible smell in our shower. They came out again and said they needed the big snake. That was $244. It supposedly came w a 6 me nth warranty. On  May 27 once again our shower (same vicinity as the backed up sewer) smelled horrible This time they were going to use water to clean the drain. Turned out they didn't have their water jet so they decided to use their fiber optic camera to see the issue. That was $344. They couldn't find the issue again but were willing to use the water jet for $799.  
On the first day their plumber said their was a 6 month guarantee   Not only was there no guarantee they have decided not to do anything
That's when I found Roto Rooter had been sold. Guess new management just doesn't care. After over $700 I called a reliable  plumber. Be careful. They won't stand behind their work!

Tyler was very professional and very sweet! He helped us out with a clog that seemed that was impossible to fix! During these tough times safety is very important to me and he wore a mask the entire time. Tyler deserves a raise or a promotion if he hasn't had one already!

Our hot water heater was flooding our garage and we could not get the water to stop.  We were afraid of it flooding into our laundry room and causing major damage.  We called their after hours line (10:00 pm) and the dispatcher put in an order and said the service man would be calling in a few minutes.  He called and said also he could do this late was shut off the water.  I stated that's exactly what we wanted and he said if you can't get it shut off I won't be able to either.  And left it at that.    Not very compassionate or helpful.  I won't be calling them for help during the day if their emergency technician couldn't help me in an emergency.

The worst customer service experience ever. They never showed up to my home on the scheduled day, nor did they call! I called them to ask if they were still coming and i was told by Rena that some how i was forgotten. But Rena was nice and she did waive the fees. So i called the following day, because they never showed up again, I spoke with someone name Nancy. She was very rude. She had absolutely no customer service skills. I'm not going to pay you and deal with poor customer service. So therefore, I canceled services with roto and I went with another company. I would never use them or recommend their services to anyone. Word of mouth is a powerful tool and u just lost me as a customer and u lost my recommendation for future customers . The company was located in Birmingham, mi .

Talk about trying to take advantage!!!!  Really ???  Had to have some work done in the kitchen (Faucet and garbage disposal leak).  TYLER was the so-called plumber that was send out at property in Las Vegas.   He informed me that the labor to replace a faucet and the garbage disposal would be $750.00 and the cost of the faucet and garbage disposal would be another $400.  What $1,150 for a faucet and garbage disposal !!!  I MUST be getting pranked.  When I called him out on the ridiculousness of his quote, he informed him that he went to school for plumbing as if that would justify his asinine quote.  

Not sure if TYLER'S quote was legitimately from Roto-Rooter or if he was trying to come up and pocket money..  Or maybe he was just lazy and didn't want to do the work and priced Roto-Rooter out the game.  Maybe Roto Rooter is a franchise and each franchise have different owners.  Whatever the case is, he represents Roto-Rooter and its not a good look.  Needless to say, Roto-Rooter DID NOT get my business.

Took my business to another company and paid $160 for labor and $200 for faucet and garbage disposal.  Bye Bye Roto-Rooter!!

It's an ok service but no better or no worse than the others that charge 1/3 the price. I paid $225 for Roto-Rooter and $80 for Mr Rooter. Either way the drain is fixed, you make the choice. In my opinion their customer service from the office is very lackluster. No follow through on promises made. The actual guy who did the rooting was very professional and good. Not worth the extra $150 though. With companies like this that have developed elitist management who hire young energetic guys to make them money the management very quickly loose touch with the trenches and customers come third in the whole process. For reference I am a retired guy who ran my business for over 40 years.

James Weston was the absolute best! Super professional, and did an incredible job...all while being one of the nicest plumbing experts I've ever had come help us. I'd recommend his service to anyone and use him and roto rooter any time I ever needed help again! Thank you so much James!

My kitchen line clogged up and after my husband spent several hours, soaking the kitchen floor, etc. I called Roto-Rooter.  Should have done that to start with, but who ever listens to a wife?  I was surprised and happy that they would send someone out right away!  Woo Hoo!

Joshua, # 321, arrived within 30 minutes and went to work immediately!  He had the line cleared within 30 minutes and even had time to play with our dog - which made Jake extremely happy!

Needless to say, I will use Joshua again if need be....I hope not, but just in case.  I recommend Roto-Rooter and Joshua as I found him to be highly professional, skilled and wanted to get our problem cleared up ASAP!  Thank you, Josh, for a job well done!

THE WORST
I dont' know who is doing the dispatching but these guys are incompetent.
Yesterday, I was giving a 4h window, then they said they needed 2-3h longer. After two hours I called in, waited on hold they told me the dispatcher will call​ me back in 30min, or anything. THey just make​ BS up as they go.
Of course, nobody called me back. I called back after 30min, waited on​ hold for 15 minutes to find out that the dispatcher left and new dispatcher didn't know anything about it.
I rescheduled for the next morning, as an urgency 10-12pm. Nobody showed up, called in. Now the new story is that the guy left half an hour ago, but needed to pick up supply and take another hour. No explanation of​ why he needs to pick up supplies if he doesn't know what supplies he needs for my job.
Again, making BS up as they go.

Don't​ get me started on the job. Happened a lot of times that I had problems that were caused due to a bad job performed by them years before.

I have enough, this is the last job for them. It is just not worth to ruin my nerves and my house.

Had problems with plumbing issues. The technician responded very quickly. He was able to resolve the problem plus agreed to look at  our tub spigot as well.  He happily fixed it for us.
We were very pleased with the total charges and we highly recommend their services.

Had a problem in our main bathroom toilet. Contacted Roto Rooter at 7:30 am & tech came out a little past 9am. James was great. So nice & attentive. Did the job fast. Very knowledgeable. Extremely happy with Roto Rooter service.

Service cost was extremely inflated in my opinion,  but my technician was amazing, which motivated me to write a review. If there is an employee of the year, it should be Ed! He was kind and helpful, patient with my curious 9-year old and extremely friendly dog, explained things clearly and was generous with his time and help. If I use the company again it will be because of Ed!

They told me that because the poop wasn't flowing over my shower drain pan that they wouldn't come out till the next day.. Then I asked her how was I going to give my son a bath for school? This phone call was a joke. She was rude. Never again will i call them..

Had to get a difficult clogged kitchen line  cleared. My usual plumber was backed up, for a week, and I had to find another plumber. Called roto  rooter and they came thru for me big time.
They got the job done in a timely manner, and were proffessional.

I wish I could give more than five stars jeff just came out here within an hour of me calling them! he was fast he was professional he was courteous the price was perfect! He even explained some of the stuff to my husband and me! everything was wonderful, I can't complain and I am one for complaining!  so that is a bonus they will forever be my go-to people when it comes to Plumbing!!

All of the waste water in the house was ending up in our downstairs shower. Roto Rooter had somebody here within an hour, they gave me the prices all straightforward, and he solved the issue very quickly. He even took a coupon I printed from the website for an additional $40 off. Very happy with their service! He even told me that it's under warranty for six months and gave us tips to make sure our drains stay clear. Thanks! I will surely use them again if Ihave any issues.

How do you claim to be a 24 hours service company when you can't even respond or let your customer know if you can do the job or not? We have an emergency early in the morning and had to wait for over an hour for the technician to confirm the job and never did. I have to call repeatedly and ended up cancelling the request because either the service customer rep don't know where the technician is or the technician is doing whatever else. So much for an emergency assistance. No star is more appropriate for this experience.

Called this morning at 9:30 or so and they had a plumber out to my house by 12:30. A nice lady called to let me know as soon as the plumber was on the way, too, so I had time to put my dogs upstairs. James was a very nice young man who quickly figured out what was wrong with our drain and had it taken care of after informing me and getting consent. I like that they gave an estimate before doing anything and that there was a $50 coupon available. Expensive still, I guess, but better than a nasty drain. A good experience all the way around.

Such a nice man helped us today putting in our new water heater. He walked us through all the problems with the old one and told us ways to prevent the same thing from happening. His name was Jeff D. and he even took $100 out of his own paycheck to help lower the price for us. He didn't mind us talking to him while he worked and he conversed back. Such an awesome experience. We would definitely go through Roto Rooter again over and over.

Quick response and tight on time for appt on Christmas Eve, no less!  My technician Ed was great!

We hired Roto-Rooter on 8.20.17 for plumbing issues at my residence. We told them our toilet overflowed which caused a flood. Josh Mattson, the technician, came out and tried to stop the flooding. He went to the front yard and told us the sewer line was clogged and he'd fix it. He then told us that the half inch of water flooded our walls and we needed to pay $5,000-$7,000 to do the restoration through Dryco. We are renting my house and didn't have approval to do anything like that without talking to the management company. Another guy pulled up with a Dryco shirt on saying he works directly with Josh Mattson in Roto-Runner and said he had to tear down walls to get the water out or we would have mold and insisted on us giving him our property management's person's number. We said we would wait and hire them again if they deemed more work needed to be done. We paid $450 for the extraction of water--and $200 for the fixing of the sewer line. The guy from Dryco left us some driers to blow dry the tile and swept water outside... that's all he did.

This morning we woke up to another flood. This time coming from behind the fridge. We called Josh again and he came out and said, Are you going to hire us for more work? Otherwise we don't do anything and he insisted we would have to tear down the walls. We declined and he then cursed at my mother and said she's a f****** b**** and gave her the finger. I told him to get out before he regrets coming by. Finally we spoke to our property management company and they had Southwest Construction come out to see what was leaking. Come to find out Josh purposely put on the water going from the sink to the fridge for an ice maker on so it would flood and they'd come back to scam us out of THOUSANDS of dollars. We have lived in our house almost three years and never had an ice maker, much less ever turned on the water going to our old fridge which isn't even capable of making ice or water.

We are so upset that we wasted money. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS - they WILL scam you and SABOTAGE YOUR HOME! They should be shut down. I'm going to the Better Business Bureau as well.

Made an appointment for a free estimate and the next day, Sam was right on time. Looked at the problem and within 30 minutes had the problem fixed right! Very friendly and professional. I recommend!

Should have called them First! After Mr Rooter never came out after 2 appointments.  I called Roto Rooter. Less then an hour from my call a technician was at my door. Fixed my garbage disposal & snaked the line. Includes a 6 month warranty too. Great customer service & a fair price. Use the REAL deal Roto Rooter. Sam is The Man! Ask for him highly recommend him. Btw had $50 Yelp coupon he honored.

Outstanding Service. I had an ongoing issue with a backed up mainline. Used a different company previously within the last week and they didn't fully complete the job. We called roto rooter and they had a service technician onsite within the allotted time. The technician (Josh Mattson) was very professional. I explained to him the problem and went right to work to resolve the problem. He explained what the problem was and fixed the problem very quickly. Will definitely use this company for any plumbing issue from now on.

although the service went ok. My tenant came home the next day with the water from the hose the technician used still running into the clean out. Which means it was running into the sewer for 24 hours. Cant imagine how much my water bill will be. I think he should have seen this if he would have completed the job, by closing the clean out cap!

Very helpful, had my water heater break and dispatcher saved me a visit that night because she told that they would not be able to purchase a new one that night. Walked me through shutting it down and draining it and they responded first thing in the morning. Jeff replaced the old unit and everything works great. Jeff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Very happy with the service. I will use them again for any plumbing needs. The price was fair and the work was guaranteed.

I had a stopped up kitchen drain.  I called Roto-rooter about 7:45 had a clean drain by 9:15.  The plumber, Harry, was fast & efficient.

I had Roto-Rooter come and snake my whole house and use cameras for preventative measures and maintenance.  The two gentlemen, Ryan & Jeff, were very polite, professional, on time, cleaned up after themselves, and explained everything in full detail and so on.  They came and saw what I was looking for, gave me a price and were able to complete the work that day.  They were very courteous of my schedule and time.  They wanted to be sure I would be satisfied and they wouldn't interfere with anything I may have had planned, which is rare and I very much appreciated.  I was extremely pleased with their professionalism and service.  I will highly recommend Roto-Rooter to others and will definitely use them in again in the future.

Thank you James, and Roto-Rooter!  We had a backup on our commercial kitchen drain at our store.   We scheduled an appointment early afternoon online not knowing what to expect.  Wow, we were surprised at how fast we got a response.   We received a call, and an email confirmation that someone would be out around 4:00 that afternoon.   We then received another call to confirm that the plumber was on his way.   James, the plumber, was both very professional and friendly.   He explained everything, and gave us a quote.  We also used a $20 coupon that Roto-Rooter had available online.   James had it up and running again.  I must say we were very impressed with the service from the get go.   We will most certainly used you guys again commercially, and at home!!

If you want your plumbing problems resolved call Roto-Rooter.  I had three other plumbers sent to my house prior to calling roto-rooter and I will not make that mistake again.  My home warranty sent the first two plumbers who did nothing but tell me there was nothing they could do.  The third actually attempted to snake my drain but stated they could not unclog but quoted me way too much to come back with the big guns.  After much frustration I called Roto-Rooter for one more estimate and they sent Eddy who was professional and worked very hard and cleared my plumbing problem.  When he told me he had cleared the stoppage I was amazed after being told by three other plumbers that they couldn't do it.  One of the plumbers actually wanted to break through my dining room floor at a cost of $20,000 dollars if you can believe that.  The next day Roto-Rooter sent Blake to run the camera and make sure my pipes were in good shape and he was also very professional and stated that there were some things I could do to optimize my plumbing but nothing that was necessary at this time.  I will never use another plumbing company other than Roto-Rooter after the experience I had with the other companies.

The email I received from Roto Rooter said thank you for allowing us to fix your problem. WHAT??? You didn't fix a damn thing!!! Your employee diagnosed the problem saying I needed to buy a new toilet, and tried selling me one!!! WHAT??? Still charged me almost $200.00 for NOTHING!!! I bought new guts for inside the tank and works great. NEW TOILET MY ASS!!! And he still charged me for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! Total waste of my time & money!!! I will NEVER use or recommend this incompetent company EVER AGAIN!!!  I WOULD GIVE NO STARS IF POSSIBLE

Roto Rooter just saved us $5500.00!!!!!  :)  We had another company come out on 2 visits trying to fix the problem for us and eventually told us it would be $5500.00 to fix our issue which meant digging up my front yard and replacing my sewer line.  We called Roto Rooter today and within an hour Sam was here and he fixed the problem and was able to prove to us it was fixed with the camera in the sewer line and it was under $300.00.   Thank you so much Roto Rooter for the professional team you have out there.

I live in Spring Valley, NV. I had a completely clogged kitchen sink and slow draining bathroom sinks. I made my appointment online very late at night, and was able to set up an appt. early the next morning. My plumber Sam called and asked if he could come early, which was great. He came and was able to clear up all my pipes, now my drains are clearer than ever! He used an attachment with blades to scrape out the pipes, which obviously cleaned out a lot of built-up gunk. I was very happy with Sam as he was courteous and friendly. I also liked the fact that I have a 6 month warranty. So happy to have properly working drains now.

After dealing with a Union Plumbing & American Home Shield that could not solve our problem we called Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services late at night our plumber named Sam he showed up at 3:00 AM with a super positive attitude, he brought the right equipment fixed the problem and used a camera to prove to us that It was fixed
,all within one hour of his arrival and also explained why Union Plumbing & American Home Shield failed to solve our problem. At no time did Sam ever try up sell the job. I can not recommend this plumber and Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services enough
and much less that the work that Sam did is warrantied for six months. Thank you Sam

Had a great Roto-Rooter man - James come to our house and do the main clean-out and the kitchen clean-out along with a shower drain that was slowly going down and cleaning out the washing machine sandpipe too.  We had 4 services and he gave us a discount on the 3 other services which was a nice savings.   Our house is in great working order now due to the great job that James has done.   We also purchased the Roto-Rooter Pipe Shield gallon that we put down our sink and shower/tub drains to keep them in working order.   Roto-Rooter has the best stuff and we have used it for years.   Thanks for having such great plumbers, I surely appreciate it.

Roto Rooter was great. I had a drain issue late in the afternoon on a friday, and needed a quick response. They showed up to my house within a half hour, and took care of my problem in 30 minutes. The Plumber Sam, was very friendly and willing to answer any questions I had. Would definitely use them again.
