The contractor doing the remodeling work for our master bathroom likes to work with Southside Plumbing. The company came out today for the second time during the remodel. We are very pleased with not only the work that was done, but also with the two employees who did the work. Trevor and Wes are professional and polite. They make sure that everything is properly done and always explain to us what they will be doing. They go over the specific charges on the bill. Prices are very reasonable and it is a comfort to know that the work is professionally and correctly done. We will call them for any future needs that we may have. We highly recommend Southside Plumbing.

I am giving them this rating due to a discrepancy of quoted fee for services received vs what was billed. My hearing is excellent so I do not believe I misheard price. My suggestion I would make is to get a quote in writing before you let them do any work.  My other suggestion to pay less is to find a self employed plumber or depending on the service, a good handyman would be reliable and cost less.

We had to replace all the pipes in our house and were worried it wouldn't be done quickly. We discovered the problem during Easter weekend. Southside came and gave a quote and could fit us into their schedule almost immediately. We actually switched from our usual plumber to them for this job and were very satisfied. The work was done to perfection and the customer service was 10/10 as well. Mark knew we had a toddler and personally came back to triple check the work when we moved back into the house. I can't recommend these guys enough. I pray we don't have to use a plumber for a very long time, but if we do, we will call southside plumbing for sure!

Southside Plumbing did an excellent job on a large replumbing job. Everyone we interacted with was professional, helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. We were very impressed by the depth of their expertise.  They did a great job, and came back when there was one follow-up issue (not their fault).  I highly recommend this company.

I've had a water heater replacement, as well as a sump pump replacement. No complaints, great service. Fair prices.

I worked for this company for many years and they do great work! They are one of the few companies that truly cares about their workers and customers. We were without hot water for three days when our outdated on demand hot water heater went out. The company went out of business and there were no replacement parts available.
Mark at Southside Plumbing came out and recommended a Navien  on demand water heater. He said they had not been installing on demand water heaters for several years until they were sure the technology and durability was up to his company's standards.
Mark and Trevor installed the unit that afternoon and stayed into the evening hours to complete the job. They were both efficient and professional. The installation was nicely done and they cleaned up completely and hauled the old unit away.
The Navien system really puts out the hot water.... a thousand times better than our old unit. We never run out of hot water now.
We couldn't be more pleased with Southside Plumbing and will use them for all our plumbing needs.

Found a leak this morning, and requested a first availableappointment. I received a call telling me what was available. Kyle showed up on time; gave me an estimate, which I accepted. He was courteous, efficient, and took care of the issue quickly. I was very favorably impressed!

We had Southside come out to look at our outside faucet today.  It was only 3 years old and was leaking at the pressure valve.  

I had another company (Done) come out to look at the same outside faucet last week and they said that we had left a hose attached to the faucet during the winter and it cracked it.  I told them no we didn't.  We didn't have leaking inside.  They then said I needed to get an entire new faucet inside and outside work that was going to cost $650.  All I can say is I am Done with Done plumbing.  

The plumber at Southside came out. Without any hesitation he within 5-10 mins told me something else.  He took the pressure cap off of the outside faucet and said it would be  $150.  : ) THANK YOU for being ethical and such a pleasure to work with.  I will tell everyone I know about how awesome Southside is.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Southside Plumbers saved the day today!  I called in as my basement was flooding when water was running and they had a tech, Trevor, come out in under 30 minutes.  Trevor was amazing and did a top notch job fixing the issue, which wasn't an easy fix at all.  

Their response time was second to none, the quality of the work was perfect and the price was very reasonable given the situation.  Big shout out to Trevor who just hit a home run fixing our problem, y'all are truly lucky to have a guy like him on your team.

I will absolutely be using your company in the future for any plumbing related issues that come up!

Overall, I was disappointed with work performed on two bathrooms currently under construction.  In one bathroom, they punched holes through the back of the drywall and left it to us to mud and fix them.  In the second bathroom, they installed the wrong valve, which they found in a hardware box for a tub.  That left us two options:  Either rip out the wall or buy new shower hardware to match the valve.  

The rest of the work performed was done to satisfaction. The guys were very courteous and professional.  I just expected a bit more given the rather high price point.

Call these guys first for any plumbing need.

I called them at 3:45 on Columbus Day because my kitchen sink was leaking. They arrived at 4:05, had all the hardware they needed in their van, and were out the door to the next job at 4:20. Great service, friendly technicians, and a price straight out of the 1960s.

As long as they're around they will get my business.

Our water heater failed two weeks ago and I decided to get three quotes from local plumbing companies. I saw that Southside Plumbing was rated very highly by past customers on Yelp! and Google, so I gave them a call. Southside's price was less than half of the most expensive and approx 25% less than the next low price.
Mark and his team arrived on time, were very professional, and got right to work. They were in and out in 90-minutes with a very clean, well plumbed, and thorough water heater and expansion tank replacement. Their installation looks much better/neater than the old heater's workmanship. I highly recommend this local company!

During this crazy time, our water heater quit working! Mark came out within an hour of my call. He was so careful and respectful of distancing!  He and his crew do amazing work every time they come!  I highly recommend Southside Plumbing!!!

I honestly wish they did more than just plumbing. Working with them was so pleasant, efficient, and I felt like they really respected my home. We decided to get a tankless hot water heater  (which we absolutely love!) Getting the quote was wonderful, their prices are very reasonable especially in comparison to other companies! When it came to install we had two gentlemen who were extremely polite, respectful and worked quickly to get the job done on schedule. I would definitely work with them again.

Highly recommend Mark and everyone at Southside Plumbing.  We have had them help with several projects from a new hot water heater, help with the kitchen sick and several toilet issues (little boys create a lot of toilet issues).  They are always quick, efficient, friendly, honest.

Mark at Southside Plumbing is the best!!  I had a water heater flood in my basement at 9pm on Saturday.  After calling several plumbing companies he was the only one to come out and not only stopped the flooding (I couldn't figure out which was the main water shut off) he stayed and replaced the water heater that night.  He styled masked up and was very polite and showed me how everything worked when he was done.  I highly recommend them.

Called again this last month in regards to a pressure reduction valve that was required to be replaced.

From initial call to work completed... 2.5 hrs, and at a reasonable price.

Mark and Southside plumbing were a pleasure to do business with. I had an issue and requested a quote via text on a Sunday and he promptly responded. Two days later he arrived at my home on time and ready to help. I was so thankful for this since many other plumbers I had contacted were booked a week or so out. Mark completed the job and went above and beyond what was asked of him. It's to refreshing to find a company with such honesty and integrity. I had Southside Plumbing come fix my broken spigot today and they met my expectations for a good, local plumber. They were clean, friendly, informative, and even instructed me on how to replace a part on my water heater so they didn't have to charge me to do the simple repair.

Mark came out and made quick work of repairing a leaky washer valve.  He was able to stop the leak by tightening the packing nut and was okay if I accepted that solution, but he also offered me an option to replace the valve since the nut was almost as tight as it could go, which was a very reasonable price.  I chose the option to replace since I don't want to deal with the issue again, and an hour later everything was done.  The work was quality, it resolved the issue and he took great care not to make a mess of the drywall.  I enjoyed having Mark do the work, and I'll definitely call them if I need plumbing work again!  I'm super happy!

Unfortunately, my experience with Southside Plumbing was not great. Maybe it was just an off day for them? I had Mark and his journeyman come out to replace my water heater. The quality of the work done was sub-par. The water heater was installed partially over the basement drain - problem #1. To compensate, they put a rock from my garden underneath the water heater as a shim - problem #2. Of course, a rock was never meant to be used as a shim, so it pops loose almost as soon as they leave. This caused the water heater to become unstable...I could literally rock the water heater from side-to-side - problem #3. In addition, the gas connection had a leak that their own equipment didn't detect, but my nose and the bubble test certainly could - huge problem #4. I called them and Mark sent back his journeyman to fix the issues. I hate to leave a negative review for a local business, but the gas issue especially is concerning because their own detector did not detect the leak. It was only after I double-checked their work that I noticed this potentially very dangerous issue.

Positives: they are locally-owned. They were on-time and more affordable than the big Denver-area chains.

Mark is a fair, honest plumber who puts his customer's needs first. His quote was in the ballpark of another plumber and we scheduled him to because he is straight forward, had a flexible schedule and he conveyed both confidence and humility rarely seen in contractors. Liz was terrific to work with as well and her communication was incredibly responsive.

Mark's team replaced our old galvanized pipes with Pex and removed some pipes and sinks that were no longer needed. His team even hauled away our super heavy laundry sink that was original to the house. The majority of this work was done in less than a full work day including a great job of cleaning up after themselves. I will not hesitate to use Southside Plumbing for any of our future plumbing needs.

Great service I needed a new faucet and Mark did a great job.  The work was excellent in done promptly.  I now have a plumber on my list should I need one in the future

Mark came by today and replaced our water heater. His pricing was much lower than an initial quote we received and he also came with great reviews. He was professional and courteous.

I also had him take a look at two other issues; one being a leaky sprinkler valve and the other being a valve that needed to be upgraded on a newly installed furnace humidifier. He fixed those too, and at a reduced cost because of the water heater install and because he was here already.

Unlike the other company, he didn't try to up sell us on a tankless water heater and an annual service agreement.

We will absolutely will call Mark with our future plumbing needs!

Mark has been a godsend for me. He has saved in 2 consecutive emergency flooding situations. His work is amazing, he is very friendly and professional/Honest and the work speaks for itself. He has also done many other plumbing related things for my large home. I would highly recommend him.

Miles and Marc were both so nice and professional and helps us out quickly.  We could not get anyone else to come out same day and they did!  I highly recommend them and will be calling them again if we need a plumber!  I am very pleased with all interactions with their whole team from start to finish!

Thanks Elizabeth for helping me out! Mark was great, he did a little extra work to fix a couple of minor leaks and was very informative when I asked about some work I want to do myself.

Very reliable and honest.  After a bad experience with Sure Drain, Southside Plumbing came out and charged us far less than the estimate from Sure Drain and kept their appointment as promised.

Mark did a plumbing repair for me on Monday 7/16/18. He arrived on time. He did great work and he completed it quickly. His bill was exactly what he had said it would be when we discussed the job on the phone before he arrived. I'd recommend him to anyone.

I have used Mark twice and have been very satisfied with his services. Mark is very cut and dry. He doesn't beat around the bush or tell you useless information. He is very accommodating when it comes to scheduling an appointment. He works very efficiently to get the job done right. He is honest, and very professional. His prices for parts and labor are very fair. I have no complaints.

Mark is a great and honest plumber. We had flooding in my basement and called him on Wednesday night. He came the next day on time. He told my husband that the water came from the air conditioner condenser's clogged drain and gave a reference to an AC company in case we had further trouble with it after my husband was able to unclog the drain. Mark didn't charge anything. I called on Saturday to tell him I appreciated his help and I at least wanted to send payment for his time and gas that he expended. He said it was nothing and just to call him next time I had a plumbing problem. This guy is very honest; these days, you don't often see honest people like Mark.

Mark called to arrange a visit to replace our failed water pressure regulator, arrived when he said he would, and quickly replaced the 15 year old and discontinued valve.  I'll call him the next time I need a plumber.

Mark goes above and beyond! I was really happy with the effort he put in to fix our problem. Most plumbers would have thrown their hands in the air and left. Mark kept at it and found the problem and resolved the matter for us. So very grateful to him!

I called this company based on other Yelp reviews that said he was great.  We talked for a minute and then he said he had to drop his daughter off at school and would call me back.  That's okay, I realize he has a life.  He never called back.  I thought maybe his phone didn't capture my number, so I called him back and left my number on his voice mail.  He never called me back.  Ridiculous!
