Olney Sewer and Drain

I contacted them in the late hours of the night to get a quote and availability on snaking a drain from my utility sink and washer. They responded within 10 minutes and provided me a reasonable quote and immediate availability the next day.  Cliff arrived on time and was very polite as I explained my situation/issue. He was able to fix my clog quickly and even wiped up the area afterwards without asking. I was very pleased with the service and would highly recommend them.

Our kitchen stack backed up right before we put our house on the market (fantastic timing!), so I contacted Olney through Yelp. Louisa responded right away at around 7:30 on a Friday night, and Cliff was at our house the next morning! He cleared the kitchen stack and also took care of a toilet that wouldn't flush...he unearthed a wad of baby wipes that my lovely children had apparently flushed a long time ago (of course). Everything is working perfectly now, and Olney's price are fantastic! I was beyond pleased with our experience, and will absolutely call Olney again!

I consider myself fortunate to have had Mr. Olney come out and inspect my sewer lines so rapidly. He was very knowledgeable and was able to help me with my sewage dilemma. I can't thank him enough.

I called on a Thursday, needing it done by Friday afternoon. They were very friendly on the phone and said they could get me in that day! They offered me different options, depending on what was convenient for me. They were actually able to come even sooner than planned. Cliff was very nice and efficient. He clearly knew what he was doing and wasn't trying to waste any time. Not only do they have inexpensive flat rates, but they give you a 30 day warranty along with it. I don't write reviews that often, but I highly recommend this company.

They were great. Responded in a timely manner and were able to come over to my house within a few hours. The technician, Shane, was outstanding. Very cordial, efficient and professional. And he got the backup taken care of within an hour. I hope I don't have to use them again in the near future but when another problem arises, they will be my call.

I needed help ASAP and Olney came through like a champ. Had a leaky toilet and the water shut off broke when I turned it. Yikes! Came out to do a bit of work under our sink. Showed up quickly and efficiently fixed the issue. Charge was for 1 hour which was around $120. That seemed fair and I appreciated the quick response.

It's not until something breaks down that one appreciates good quality craftsmanship. Our upstairs toilet had begun leaking because the wax ring connection had come apart. As soon as my wife and I became aware of the problem, we called Olney, based on their positive customer reviews. We weren't disappointed. We were scheduled for the next day and Cliff, Olney's rep got right on it. And this is important--it didn't take him very long to finish replacing the ring and resetting the toilet. He also replaced the fluid master ballcock, which had become an issue. FANTASTIC!!!  Louisa handled my questions and the appointment set up and was very helpful and nice.  Cliff showed up right on time and had the garbage disposal removed and the broken pipe fixed in no time.  He was totally professional and very nice, explaining what he was going to do and letting me know what might have to be done if it wasn't quite that simple.    

The estimate I was quoted was exactly what I was charged and there was no mess left for me to clean up.  I know that seems silly to have to point out, but I have had some professionals do work only to have to clean up huge messes that they made when that is something they should have done.

Our rental house had a back up with nasty water in the basement. I called Olney Sewer Sunday and they came out an hour later. Shane did a great job clearing the line and explained everything he did. He also helped hose off the basement floor! I was very happy with the service and the price is very reasonable. I've had a run of bad luck with plumbing companies lately and am relieved that I found someone I can trust that isn't outrageously priced. Saving this number for sure!!

Olney is focused on drain cleaning ONLY.  I loved the fact that his pricing is transparent on his webpage.  He was the only plumber of 3 that I called that answered the phone (his wife manages the incoming calls).  
He showed up early (with a call beforehand).  His handled the sink drain problem in an old house carefully, deliberately, and what a relief it was that everything went perfectly well.  Other plumbers had given us doomsday scenario estimates in previous calls.   I like Mr. Olney.  Practical, friendly, knowledgable, and well equipped.   We have found our drain guy from now on.

Our kitchen drain was clogged. We called one place that said we would need 2 services; 1 to clear the drain and another to fix the leak at the pipe under the sink. Starting cost was $249 per hour for each service.  Called Olney. They were local and family owned. He came the next day and cleared the drain and fixed the leak for far less than the other place wanted to charge. Very informative and gave us suggestions to help in the future

Had a back up or clogged lateral line. Making a appointment was simple and easy through messaging on Yelp. They were one of the few businesses that actually responded back promptly.

Cliff showed up cleared the lateral line and gave some good advice on how to keep it clear since my pipe is straight and sloping down towards the Main Street sewer line. Their prices are very fair and reasonable compared to other businesses that want to charge by the hour and show up fee, etc.

They did the job, And I would not hesitate to call them again!

Excellent experience. Scheduling the appointment was painless. I called around 4:30 on Wednesday and service was scheduled for 9-10 the next morning. Cliff arrived right around 9:30, knew the cause of the problem immediately and educated us on how to prevent another issue. He completed the work quickly, was friendly and even zip tied our AC condensation hose to the grate for us. We couldn't have been more pleased with the service and the price was better than the specials being offered elsewhere.

Had a clogged drain the night before tenants were moving in. Filled out an form on Angie's List and they contacted me no more than 5 minutes to schedule an appointment the next morning. The guy came on time, snaked upstairs, then downstairs as well. Family owned company and will definitely get my business again.

Had a main line backup in my basement.  Submitted an online request for quote and received a call less than 10 mins later.  I was told Shane could be at my house 3 hours later.  Shane showed up 20 mins early and did a fantastic job, very personable and professional.  He completed the job quickly and did a nice job explaining everything.

Prices were very reasonable - as of Aug 2018 I was quoted $125 for a main line snaking/auger/root removal and an extra $40 if they had to get on the roof (which I expected as my stack was old and cast iron and in a tight corner).  Prices quoted on the phone were the same I was charged when they came out.

I am so pleased with the service provided by Olney Sewer & Drain. The technician was kind, polite and left our basement clean and free of debris. He arrived earlier than scheduled and cleared our sewer quickly. The prices are excellent We, very affordable. We live in an older home that has recurrent plumbing problems so I will definitely call Olney the next time our sewer/drains need service.

After making early morning appointments with two other plumbing companies and being stood up both times, the third time was the charm with Olney Sewer and Drain.

The lady I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant and it was easy to set up an appointment. Cliff showed up on time with all the tools he needed to complete my project (video of my sewer lateral) and was very professional. He even took a few minutes to give advice on an unrelated problem with my kitchen sink which will save me a ton of headaches down the road.
