They were here in April to charge our a/c and it worked fine for a month. Then it quit working and we called them to come check it again. They were originally supposed to be here Friday and after calling them to find out when they said they had 90 calls today and wouldn't be able to come until next Friday. The customer service was awful they made so many excuses. I don't know who wrote these other reviews but I wish we had the same experience. I would call someone else.

Budget was sent out by my home warranty company.  They came out and told me the water was not on, did nothing, and charged me the 100.00 deductible. I asked them if they were going to charge me the 100.00 deductible again if they had to come back out once the water was turned on. The plumber driving the van said no. My son was with me and heard the whole conversation. The water company had said the water was on when it was off and  I later learned from the water company that any licensed plumber has a key and can turn the water on without approval from the water company. Once the water company turned the water on, we found two leaks. We called Budget back out to the house and they fixed one of the two leaks. They told us that the other leaky pipe had too much water pressure and that it would cost us 900.00 to fix. I find this odd as the house had been inspected the month before we bought it by a reputable home inspector. So then they called me and told me I had to pay the deductible again! So essentially, they lied to me and took my money. Two hundred dollars for one leak! And they were too lazy to turn the water on!  This could have all been taken care of in one day!  Then the crabby receptionist tried to turn things around on me and told me I had to call the home warranty company. I called the home warranty company and they told me I had to work things out with Budget. Run, Run, Run from these people!!!!!!!!

Horrid customer service.  Was referred to this company through my home warranty program and I had to call back and request a referral to a different company.  The install scheduler was rude, unprofessional, and completely unwilling to help find a solution to my problem.  When I commented about how uncooperative and rude she was being, she sarcastically said, Thanks!!!!  She must just be a sullen teenager, but still not worth the time and headache.

If you are referred to this company, save yourself the effort and request a different one right off the bat.

Technician did make it to our house very quickly. Was polite and seemed to be a hard worker. Told us our A coil was leaking badly. Tried to put refrigerant in the system. Showed me how the gauges were bouncing which proved that the coil was shot. Sent me a quote for all new AC equipment. Had another company look at the system. Found that the only thing wrong with it was that the coil was still frozen up. The technician from Budget never defrosted it. After being defrosted, found that the system actually had too much refrigerant, not a leak. Don't think I could  trust them after this.

Going through our home warranty company, 80% of the time, Budget is who is sent out and thank goodness they are! Typically within 30/40 minutes of making a claim, Budget is calling to set up an appointment! On average, they will have someone out that day or atleast the next. We have never had to wait longer than 2 days to get something repaired!
The girls in the office are always helpful and pleasant to speak to!
We are always extremely happy with the work and I personally have learned a ton from the guys as they make sure to explain thoroughly what caused the issue, how they are going to resolve the problem and how to prevent having the same issue in the future! Very knowledgeable and always very nice!

Tech came out spent the entire trip trying to sell me a new unit, before even diagnosing the problem.  After taking a quick look, told me that I had a leak, low on frion, coils were bad, fan motor needed to be replaced.  Basically, it was not worth repairing.  After not being qualified for the full amount of the system (split hvac) the tech said he had spent too much time on this call and had to move to his next appt.  He would come back later that evening.  Ended up 11am the next day, met him at the house and all it needed was a new fan.  I asked him about all the other things and he said turns out the are fine.  I left to let the house cool, came back 3 hours later and it was still 90.  They sent a 2nd tech out and he told me the breaker which only holds the AC by the way was being tripped!  Bad breaker! That I would have to call an electrician.  Called had an electrician out to change the breaker and guess what!  Its not a bad breaker! He stated if HVAC  installed a fan they should of checked the wiring before they left.  Called budget and my call was returned immediate but only to argue that they have nothing to do with this problem and did not offer to resolute the situation that they caused.  Unless I wanted to pay another trip fee! Then they could come take a look!  Horrible how a business would treat a customer, through Home warranty or not.  You elect to be in that program, get out if its not in your interest to help people with no air in 90 degree weather!

Alright, I will say they requested to send out a tech who came and  resolved the wiring issue.  I appreciate their efforts to make it right.

I would never use this company they came out about two years ago I had a home warranty and said I needed a whole new air conditioning unit I didn't think that was correct so I called out another company it cost me $50 and the Air conditioner has been working every sense perfectly had them come out today only reason I had them come out was because they're on the home warranty they were supposed to check my heating unit to make sure I was OK first thing you do is try to sell me one of their warranty policies before I even looked at my furnace then his dad told me that I need to have a plumbing pipe fixed and still hasn't paid any attention to my furnace these guys are strictly salesman or not technicians all they wanna do is sell their products I would not use them unless you want to have your whole heating air conditioning unit replaced by them because that's what they're gonna try to sell you if I could give them no stars I would

This company deserves ZERO stars. Our warranty company sent them out here to look at our wireless thermostat which was working, we just didn't know where it would be wired or how to wire it. The technician took apart the thermostat, tried unsuccessfully to cram it back onto the wall and left it in two pieces. Not working. They made a claim to our warranty company that was denied and now they are denying that they broke our thermostat. Nick who would not provide his last name was the most unhelpful in the world. I now have no way to control the A/C on the top floor of my home in early September heat where my CHILDREN SLEEP. I believe anything above one star to be a paid review. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Final Update:  Received a 50 percent refund today on the work they did.  I'm inspired that they made the effort.  Seems like there might be some discord within the company but they did refund Mom and I am appreciative.

The only reason I gave them two stars instead of one is because the people in the phone are very polite and professional.  We have a home warranty with American Home Shield and when our A/C was not working properly Budget was dispatched.  The first technicians came out and diagnosed the issue but did not have the parts and a follow-up was scheduled in four days.  That technician showed up and told me it was misdiagnosed and a new compressor was needed and yet another appointment would be scheduled.  After a week the compressor was installed and we paid $450 out of pocket for refrigerant.  Now the original issue is still there as it was misdiagnosed again and I have to pay a $60 fee for someone to show up over the weekend and I am missing family activities.  I've had to reschedule work appointments and now missing family functions because the technicians seem to lack the knowledge to get the job done correctly is extremely frustrating.  I will now work on getting a refund of the $450 out of pocket expenses that apparently did nothing to resolve the problem.  Needless to say, after over three weeks, four visits and now over $600 out of pocket in addition to the home warranty and nothing fixed I'm very frustrated.

Their estimator came to our house to tell us if the plumbing in our kitchen ceiling could be raised. He told me he would send a price quote within a day and a half. That was one month ago. Still no quote. I have called them 4 different times and spoken to a woman in the office. She assured me she would get it all figured out and would call me back. She never got back to me with any explanation.

I've used Budget for several systems in my home. Highly recommend. You know who's on the way and expected arrival.  I was educated on things to watch with my older systems and asked if I'd like quotes and when I said yes, was provided a range of options with pricing.

Everything said about this company is absolutely true. Home warranty company called them, the technician didn't send them the ticket and ended up using someone else. They don't even answer their emergency service number when you call. Terrible customer service, follow up and technicians. 1 star is more than I would actually give them but 0 is not an option. STAY AWAY!

Stay away from this company if you have a choice! My central AC unit went down and this company was assigned to me by my home warranty company. After checking out the unit, the tech told me that it would likely not be covered under the warranty because the fins are bent. I told him it's been this way since I bought the house and he said even if the damages are caused by Acts of God I would still be denied coverage. He then gave me options that were much more expensive than the one that I had gotten from another company (that is highly rated on here).

So I kind of anticipated bad news, but still kept some hopes up, when I got that call from my warranty company, but what I did not anticipate was the fact that the tech's report said  the ac unit was PHYSICALLY SMASHED DOWN!!! Where did that come from??? So now I have two options: either have a second opinion from another contractor, with the risk of paying another visit fee if I'm denied again, or just pay out of pocket for a replacement. I'm more inclined towards the second option but I would not use this company.

This is no value. Charged over $600 to my elderly mother for clearing a clog. I've been dealing with similar problems at my own home and have paid 1/3 of that. Unfortunately I wasn't there to stop my sister from going along with that ridiculous price.

2nd part of my previous review:.  Sean called around to find a unit that was compatible with the tankless.  He found a place in CA who was willing to sell to me for cost.  It came in and I called Budget again.  And my luck was not with me again.  When Budget took the unit out of the box the cord was sliced.  So the unit was installed but could not be used until a new cord was sent and installed on the unit.  It came a few days later and Budget came out to fix again.  Okay now we are set.  Sean showed me how to get the tankless working by turning the hot water on then off.  Then you could go back and turn it on again and you had hot water.  Great we are now set and working! Wrong!
My daughter goes to take a shower again and again the cold water comes before she can rinse the shampoo out of her hair.  I was really upset this time.  We had done everything we could do.  So I said to my daughter maybe I can turn the water down to 120 and then you will not need to back the hot water off so much.  Possibly that is why it is turning cold.  We did that and she made it through her shower.
So now I call Rinnai.  I told the associate what problem we were having and all the solutions we had tried.  I even told her we had turned the water back down to 120.  Immediately she knew what the problem was.  She stated that when you change the setting to have the water at a higher setting than 120 you have to flip switch # 6 and #7.  Unfortunately the flipping of switch #7 is not in the installation book.  I was then not very happy with Rinnai.  If they know this is an issue they should have it in the installation book.  A sticker, an insert, something to let installers know about this.
So now it is June 2018 and I finally have a tankless water heater that I am very happy with.  Sean came by to flip switch #7 even though we currently have the temp set at 120.  If we want to raise it in the future it will be ready.
In the end I hope that Rinnai and Budget have both learned something:
* Check gas meter and include potential upgrade and regulators when quoting a bid.  An extra $400 for regulators for gas company and extra money for potential re-circulator needs to be mentioned if not included in initial bid.
* Know that switch #7 needs to be flipped if customer wants higher water temp.  RINNAI get it in the installation book.  NO EXCUSE SINCE YOU KNOW YOUR BOOK IS MISSING THAT INFO.
* I do thank Budget and especially Sean for making sure we were happy with the unit even though it took months.  And I appreciate you not charging us labor or service calls for several of the visits you made. In the end I cannot blame you for some of the problems created by Rinnai.

Run from these guys!  The home warranty company sent a plumber from this company.  The first and second people misdiagnosed my hot water heater issue. The second guy said I needed a new water heater.  I priced them  and they were around $2,000. This company had so many poor reviews I canceled their service call and and went with a reputable plumbing company instead. (JJ Kokesh).  The Kokesh plumber said all I needed was a new burner element which cost me $500. With Budget you get what you pay for.

If I could give negative stars I would. They were assigned to me through my warranty company, when I made a request for service on my furnace. It was not working, and it was 20 degrees outside. They said they'd cone the next day. They called me at 11 am the next day to cancel, due to the 3 inches of snow we got (which was mostly gone by 1pm). My 17 year old had no problem driving that morning, and she's in a little car not a work truck. They said they'd come the next day after 3. At 4:15 I called to see when they might show up, and they say the warranty company canceled the call 4 hours ago. Yet....when I called the warranty company they denied this. Of course, now Budget can't come out at all because they're booked. I'm going on 72 hours without heat. Thanks Budget!! By the way, their name should have been my first red flag. In this case, Budget means crappy and sub par. RUN!!!!!!

The insurance company sent these people out to repair a faucet. The plumber gave me an excuse why the repair was not covered by the insurance and tried to sell me a $400.00 part the would not solve the faucet issue. Upon discussion with the insurance company,  we were told the part was covered. When the company contacted the plumbing company they made up another story to cover their position and not do the repair. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. In my opinion they are dishonest.

Booked an appointment to add a water line to our refrigerator by phone citing an online offer to waive the $69 repair fee. The plumber came out within two days to add the line. He and his partner were there approximately 15 minutes and added a 1/2 compression line to the refrigerator. He stated that the $69 fee would be in effect because it did not fall under a repair and the fee for the job would be the $69 + the cost of the part. The charge for the part was $179, although a 1/2 compression line can be purchased on Amazon or at Lowe's for less than $20. After realizing the price seemed far from reasonable, I tried to contact the company. It took multiple phone calls and many times waiting on hold to speak to someone. Once I was able to speak to someone, she was not helpful with the issue and was firm with the price. We will not be using Budget again.

Good people.  We had to use this service when the water heater in our new home bit the dust.  We were trying to utilize the home-buyer's warranty, but were leery of it's caveats.  The first tech was reassuring, the people on the phone explained down to the penny and the techs that installed were clean, efficient and unobtrusive.  The entire process took two days.  What a relief.

I sent Budget a request for an estimate to install a water powered sump pump in my basement. I received a response from their technician that they would contact me. After hearing nothing, I called their office and was told that they don't install these pumps. I then sent a message to their technician that I was moving on to someone who may be able to help me. He then told me his office person was incorrect in saying they don't install the sump pumps and that he would work up an estimate and call me. It has been about two weeks and still no response. I didn't follow up because I'm no longer interested in working with them. Either you do or you don't! Just be professional and honest.

Had them out to look at a water heater leaking at the anode rod port on top. The first service person came out and removed the anode rod. He left and came back with a new anode rod and installed it.$229 for the anode rod replacemnt. The unit was leaking hours later. Called them back and another service person came out the next day. He thought the anode rod may be too long and bent it. After a few hours the unit was leaking again. Called to get pricing on a replacement water heater, they said they would have to call back. Never heard back, had to call the next day and try to get someone else to give pricing.  I decided to call another service company who came out to provide pricing. He immediately said the expansion tank had failed which caused the pressure to build up in the water heater and leak. I had them replace the unit.

I would not recommend this company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. American Home Shield sent us these plumbers. We knew more about the plumbing codes in U. City than they did. They said the warranty wouldn't cover the work because it was a repair not allowed under St. Louis county code. The repair was allowed under U. City code but Budget HVAC and Plumbing didn't want to do it. Except they offered to come out after the weekend and give us a bid if we don't use the warranty company. Unethical, dishonest and ignorant of plumbing codes!!!
To make matters worse, they left an 83 year old man with stage 4 bone cancer without a bathroom when they could have fixed it that same day.
The icing on the cake...they told me all their plumbers were master plumbers. This is not true. Additionally, the guy that came to our house wasn't even licensed in Missouri.

We had a leak around our stack at our home in St Louis County. We used Budget Heating and Cooling to fix the leak and paid $2000. Six months later the exact same leak came back. We called Budget Heating and Cooling again about the leak and they reported that they only guarantee their work for 60 days. They said they would treat us like new customers and we would have to pay $70 to have them review the problem again. We believe this company does shoddy work, are very expensive, and don't offer any guarantees. Would highly recommend against using Budget in St. Charles.

When Daniel (owner) came to give me an estimate, I was very impressed with his knowledge and explanation of everything involved in installation of tankless water heater and water softener. He answered all my questions, provided more information about things I didn't even think about. Online reviews confirmed my first impression. While not the cheapest, I've decided to give him the contract to install those devices. And that's where things started to fall apart

1. What was supposed to be one day job, left me without hot water overnight. Next morning when nobody showed up, I've called the office and they told me that they'll need to order parts and reschedule the rest of install for later. Not happy with prospect of being without hot water (they replaced a working water heater), I've asked to have someone come back and the same day and either finish install or bring back my old water heater. Contractor showed up and finished install.

2. They missed gas regulator and connected water heater to gas line without one initially. When I pointed it out, they brought wrong kind of regulator (thankfully water heater detected wrong gas pressure and refused to work) - third time is the charm, we got the right one and hot water started flowing.

3. Having so many problems I've decided to check gas lines for leaks - there were 2. He came next day to fix them, only to find another one after he left. Once it was fixed, another one popped up. Third time he finally fixed all gas leaks.

4. I'm not sure if they're licensed plumbers, they don't seem to grasp idea of an air gap. First they stuck water softener hoses into the drain, then brought a cap that fastens the hose directly to drain with 1/4 clearance - I gave up - I've installed it the correct way myself

5. Other issues
- burned sump pump pvc pipe that was close to installation area
- cut out 2/3 of the floor joist without providing another reinforcement
- installed pipes so close to each other that they bang when you turn water on and off
- didn't caulk the holes they made for gas pipe (after fixing gas leaks)
- burned holes in one of my old chairs (they used as step stool)
- left area with solder all over the floor

So after so many issues, why 2 stars? While the experience leaves a lot to wish for, they did install the water heater and water softener and they work, so now I'm enjoying soft hot water.

I will never use this company again.  This was the business associated with my Home Warranty Policy.  I reported a water leak from the water line leading to my toilet.  After the repairman diagnosed the problem he stated that it was the pressure regulator on the main water pipe which he stated was not covered.   He did the repairs and I ended up paying him $214 instead of the $75 service fee required by the warranty company.  The next morning I called the warranty company to find out why this repair was not covered.  Well to my surprise, the pressure regulator was covered 100% and he had charged me $139 for the toilet connector (which is the very small piece of tubing leading from the wall to the toilet, which by the way cost around $6 at Home Depot).  The tubing was not even the problem, it was the pressure regulator.  I called Budget and explained to them that I thought it was dishonest of them to charge me for something that was not broken (tubing).  After a very rude conversation from Lacy at Budget, she stated that the Owner would send me a refund in the amount of $139, but they would block me and not do any more repairs (which I am grateful for if this is their practice).  What happened to your  upfront pricing & customer satisfaction guarantee that you so clearly advertise on your website?  Beware of this company!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!  This company came to our home to repair a Hot Water Heater, The tech replaced a part, which he installed incorrectly, and as a result caused a gas leak.  The Gas company had to come out and they turned the water heater off due to the leak.  I called Budget to have them come back out, and was told that they would have someone come out THAT SAME NIGHT, and no one showed up.  Long story short....I spoke to two people in the office 2 days later, and the last person I spoke to called herself the DIrector of Operations and she was rude from the beginning of the conversation and towards the end she was yelling in the phone.  I asked her to give me her boss information and she refused.  She then denied service and said she would call the warranty company to have them get a different company to service us.  BTW, while yelling she called me Ms. Tenant..knowing my name is not Ms Tenant.  I cannot begin to tell you how poor the Customer service is.

This has to be the worst company I have ever dealt with.  They were sent out through American Home Shield the insurance coverage for the house. They scheduled an appointment for Monday and then on Monday they called me and said we are calling to schedule you an appointment. I said no you're supposed to come out today they said we have no record of that. So I had to call American homeshield back then they called this budget place and they said oh well we're sorry we can come out Friday I've been without hot water for a week now thanks a lot. Then they come out figure out what's wrong which someone else already came out and figured it out and said they could fix it today but ahs didn't want too pay the higher priced place so they use budget who said they couldn't fix it for a week and a half. Then they get the part and won't come out on Saturday unless they charge me an extra $60 so yeah and they want extra 90 just to vacuum the screen at the bottom. Plus the people you call are rude and have attitude. Most awful company I've ever dealt with

Had an issue with my furnace and was assigned them via my home warranty company. Rather than wait for them to call, I called them the morning after putting in my service request and the young lady who answered said they could have a tech come to the house that afternoon. The tech (Cam) was very courteous, and professional, and took his time diagnosing and fixing the issue (a part needed to be replaced, which he had in his work truck). All in all, a great experience and I appreciate the fast service.

I wouldn't recommend them or maybe I just got an horrible scamming employee that worked for them. His name is Terrance he  was friendly and a fast talker. I called because I was told I needed my coils cleaned after he was finished I need a new unit, furnace and a water heater OH WOW!!! So he tells me about this wonderful HERO PROGRAM...bullcrap!!! All that would be about 16,000$ WHAT ??? But he's got this company that can finance it for you. Needless to say I'd end up paying over 30,000 for it over a 15 year period and it also puts a lien on your home ...NEVER . He thought he had me convinced because he tries to put pressure on you
like you have to decide now and you won't have time to do the math. He lied about several things and also informed me of the 1,800.00 commission he would get from me to fund a trip to Africa. He also asked me for the furnace I had he told me to leave it on the side of my house he knew someone who could use it ??? I thought it was shot and wouldn't last much longer. He also informed me that since he was black he was sent to all the black customers...very unprofessional. After he left I did the numbers and I was out done how can you help someone like that? And if you fall behind you can loose your home that you've worked so hard for
I called and talked to Andrew he was very nice and assured me that scamming was not the companies policy, well you shouldn't have Terrance working for you . I wonder if he's made it to Africa... If they send him send his a@@ right back he's not to be trusted he will purposely lie about what's wrong just to get a commission check ....

I am VERY disappointed by Budget! We purchased a whole house humidifier from them and had them install it just a couple of years ago. We pay for an annual inspection and servicing. YET THEY REFUSE TO SERVICE THE HUMIDIFIER. They told us to just go buy the vinyl tubing at Home Depot without giving us the necessary information to do so, and when we told them we would PAY THEM to replace the tubing, they refuse, saying they don't have the tubing.

What kind of a company is it that won't follow up with service on a product THEY installed and we pay them to service?

The plumbers they've sent for other matters are also very lazy, doing as little as possible. This includes refusing to replace simple rubber washers on a bathroom faucet because they couldn't see it actively leaking. It drips all night! Slowly, but it drips! And then they made up a story about not being able to just replace the washers even if they DID need replacing, that something else had to be replaced because of some new plumbing law making the charge increase to several hundred dollars!! It's just a couple of washers that need to be replaced!!

They also said everything was fine with a wobbly toilet and low and behold just one month later the toilet had leaked into the basement causing wall damage which now has to be repaired because the wax ring needed replacement. Why could they not find that when they were here the month before?

We're done with Budget. I cannot recommend them at all.

Beware.. Dishonest technician. After  noticing water in my utility room I was told by Budget Heating and Cooling that i had a leak in my water heater and that it would cost me $ 658.00 to fix . Although I had insurance I  was told by Budget Heating and Cooling that i had out of pocket expensives of $ 658.00 to pay.

They also informed me that i would have to moved the washer and dryer from the  utility room before they install the water heater. My husband and i decided to go ahead with the repairs. However TO OUR SURPRIZE. while my husband was moving the washer and dryer from the utility room he notice the hose from the AC had came out the drain and water was leaking from the hose.

We decided to get a 2nd opinion and the technician found that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my water heater, that the water was coming from the hose from the AC we just put the hose back into the drain and the promblem was solve.  Budget Heating and Cooling almost rip us out of $658.00. Do not trust this company technician. Dishonest technician.

This company has horrible customer service.  Once they have you hook with buying their equipment you can forget about any kind of customer service.  Told me one day for any appointment and then took off work to find out it was yet another day out.  Had to wait 4 days to finally get someone out to look at my water heater.  I do not call this prompt and professional.....

They stood me up three times!!!!!!!!
They were scheduled to come out between 10:00 and 2:00. I called at 1:30 to check on status----they said they would be out in one hour. Called them at 3:30------they said they got tied up and would be out soon.   NEVER showed up or even called!!!!!!   Who does business like that?????? No integrity!

Very poor customer service. Tried to get service for my parents both elderly.  Advised the answering service to contact me. 4 days later they leave a message on mother's phone, and when contacted by AHS they said they couldn't come out until July 1. Today they call my number to confirm cancelation, so they had my number. Several years ago they were a decent company. The rep today had an attitude. Won't use them or recommend them again.

Budget was assigned to us by our home warranty company.  We had a claim for a garbage disposal in the kitchen.   They were onsite in less than 24 hours.  and quickly replaced the equipment.  The plumber was nice and didn't delay.  I was pleased with the service and quality of the work.

I called 5 HVAC companies to see which one can come out to fix our water heater problem. I could not get the pilot light to start, so I figured it might need a new thermocouple. Budget Heating, Cooling and Plumbing's trip charge is $69 + $130 for labor and parts to replace the thermocouple.  Amy said she can have someone at my house between 4:30 and 5pm (same day). Then Jackie called back at 3:45 to let me know that Cody is on his way to your house from O'Fallon, so he should arrive by 4:30pm. Cody arrived at 4:20pm and was able to get my water heater working again in just 40 minutes! He did a great job! I definitely would recommend Budget!

Had a leak under the sink that gradually worsened.  Called four different plumbing services three if which went to voicemail.  Called my regular(past) plumber and they wanted $185 up front just to make the call not including labor or parts.  Then stumbled onto Budget, gave them a call.  Very pleasant lady on the phone and told me they would be there in two hours or so.  Prompt service and VERY REASONABLE price.

They will now replace Jerry Kelly HVAC and Performance plumbing for my home needs.

Had hot water heater installed in February through a home warranty, installation failed city inspection. Both the inspector, the day it failed and I have (3 times) tried contacting them to correct and they won't respond to emails or return calls.

They called me today to schedule a service call to fix the problem.

If you are looking for good customer service and a company to take care of you--look elsewhere. Budget is the worst company I have ever dealt with and has no customer service. This past May we called budget about a broken air conditioning unit. We had to have it replaced. When they came in to replace it, they set all the metal objects directly on our wood floor. This was AFTER I asked them not to set things on the wood floor. They completely scratched our wood floors and didn't even care when I pointed it out. They also put our door back on incorrectly so it wouldn't stay shut and they also tripped our breaker which they told me they couldn't do anything about on the way out the door. Then they overcharged us $6,000 on the unit because someone told them that was what we were quoted--they had no quote sheet on record that I had physically signed! I called to talk to a manager and was pushed aside for weeks. I talked to multiple different people in the company and none would take responsibility for what had happened. They gave us the run around for months and finally I, THE CUSTOMER, had to set up appointments to try and get our floors looked at and fixed. No one ever followed up on this or even took the time to take care of this for us, the customer. The flooring people never showed on the day of. This was back in September. We haven't heard from budget since and our floors are still damaged. At the end of the day, I don't understand how the customer was blamed for everything and the company still has not made it right. They did everything wrong and have taken absolutely no responsibility. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else!

This was the business associated with my Home Warranty Policy. We reported a water leak in the kitchen near the sink, dishwasher or refrigerator area. The repairman showed up and promptly exercised skillful neglect by failing to look behind these appliances. He did, however, scrutinize under the sink and recommended the addition of a hose clamp which was not covered, and to install this, would run 89 bucks (!) and if the part was purchased  separately, the cost would be less than $5.  Problem solved...NOT SO QUICK!!!...now, the dishwasher does NOT function properly (draining issues), there is a substantial water leak which runs to the outside of the HOUSE..Within 10 days, we contacted our warranty company and they wish to regenerate another service call at yet another deductible fee to re-ascertain the leak, which we have already ascertained. Am I missing something here? Or am I in the wrong profession?

They were sent out by American Home Shield. I give them 5-stars for the covered work. They came as scheduled. The technician was efficient and professional. He had to order some parts. They called when the parts arrived and the same technician came again. But the parts weren't correct, he even went out to a local store to see whether he could find the right parts, but then he had to reorder.

I like the technician and the work he had done so I decided to ask for a quote for something else. Since we just moved to the area, we didn't know any other plumbers. He spent some time in his truck, and came back with a quote, which was good.

After he left, I had questions on the quote, and this was when things fell apart. I immediately called him back, which his office picked up, and left him a message. However, 3 days passed and after multiple messages, include emails, left, no call back. I had hired many plumbers in the past, so I understand the technician couldn't call back right away, but not waiting this long. The technician finally called me back but while I was on a conference call. I tried calling back as soon as I was able, but again, he didn't call back. I again left multiple messages afterward, but no call back.

Today they called me because my parts were finally here, and wanted to schedule the service call. After scheduling that service, I asked again when can the technician call me. The office lady said there was no message from me to him. I gave her some feedback on how difficult this experience was. I am on conference calls all the time for my work, and that I can't often be available when the technician calls me. And if I don't answer his call, it could be multiple messages and days before he calls me again, which doesn't work for me.I had hired many contractors in the past, and I usually get a call back at the end of the day. This was by far the most difficult experience. Even ATT and Directv technicians gave me their personal cell phone numbers! She proceeded to hang up on me! I guess they don't want any business except those from AHS.

My suggestion is-stick with them for the home warranty covered work and don't give them anything else.

Called and scheduled same week for a broken AC. Fixed on Friday, on Sunday the AC was not working again. Photos show how the repairman left the AC - didn't even screw panels back on. Called on Sunday and dispatcher said they'd send out the on call person. 5 hours later - nothing. Not a call or visit. We called back and they said they sent everyone home. No call to say they weren't coming. Someone called us back an hour later - sending someone, supposedly. I will update if and when they make it right. Very disappointed so far.

*edit: someone ended up coming later in the evening - he was very nice and tried to figure out the issue. The review is not reflective of that particular professional's attempt to remedy the issue. After a lot of liking around, and fixing what was left undone, he said there was an electrical issue of some kind. Budget sent an electrician out at our request, came later that week. No issue was found. ‍ they did refund the job by $150 and requested an updated review, which I'm happy to do.

This company used to be fantastic.  But since they got too big for their britches they have gone down hill significantly.  We had a tech come out and he brought someone they were training and let the trainee do the work.. They messed things up and we had to have another guy come out to have him say yep this is messed up they order a part we are told we will get a discount since they messed it up.. We are told the part needs to be ordered and we would be on the schedule for Saturday.  My husband called to see how much everything would be since tech #2 doesn't give us a price and we are told on the phone it's no charge. Friday my husband called to confirm we are on schedule for Saturday to which we are told no but we need to hurry and sign this work order to be added . Where was this work order after tech #2 came?    So we get the order and it says we owe $475 with no breakdown just says install part basically.   Tech #3 comes out does the work we ask about the discount and he calls but of course can't get through to anyone.. ( surprise surprise)  so we reluctantly give him the $475 check.  He could not enter the payment because it says no balance so he calls ( guess what?  gets right through this time!)    SO guy on the phone tells him there is no charge.   Fast forward to the following week.  I get a call to schedule the work based off the work order.  I told the girl the work was already done she says ok looks like there are 2 accounts for you and that's that.   I don't hear anything more until yesterday getting a call saying we owe $475 along with an email with invoice?  I email back with everything I included here only to have them say there must be a glitch in the system and after the person on the phone talks to the manager calls me back in less then 5 mins and says they will knock $75 off for my trouble... This is not my trouble..Learn how to run a business. IT was great before but we will NOT ever use them again!   They do not have there crap together at all.

Brand new furnace installed (never even been turned on once!!!) and already it needs parts replaced and we have no heat! They left a family of 7 (5 children) without any heat for over 4 days now (and still waiting)...mind you we are under severe winter conditions currently (it got down to 16F last night). The service man was extremely rude and inconsiderate...saying it's our busy time so I don't know when we will be back. Well thanks so much budget for putting in a bad system and not fixing it and letting us freeze!
So another repairman finally showed up (day 5) fixed it and 3 hours later it's not working yet again!
Brand new furnace! What a joke!

This seems to be the default company used by American Home Shield for warranty work. The last two jobs have resulted in additional costs not covered by the warranty. The first instance was a very questionable piece of additional work. As of this latest job, the technician tried to pressure my wife into a costly upgrade on the spot. She replied that he'd need to speak to me before moving forward with any sort of claim. I have left three voicemails with the number he left and have received no call back. He submitted a claim against our system that I did not authorize that now would have us spend thousands of dollars outside of the coverage.

This company is a complete scam and should not be trusted with any work on your house.

Going thought the home Warranty program 3 times we have had them out and I still cannot take a bath. The temperature reads 93.0 with a full bath tub. I a hot mad. They say the warranty company will not give us a new hot water heater that is 25 years old . I take a shower with hot water on only. But we can buy a new one though them and they can install it. Why are they not helping us get a new one though our warranty company? Please explain.

This past Fall - they were happy to take our prepayment for Spring and Fall Cleaning- a special for both when you prepay.  I was told if we ended up getting new units, the spring cleaning would be refunded to us.   However, when I called back to tell them we have new units, they refused to give us our credit back for the prepayment.  Would not recommend them as they do not stand behind their agreements and not of integrity.

Literally cut a hole in my cabinet and my wall to replace an improperly installed plumbing below my sink. During this incident I was covered under American home shield warranty and of course the plumber called out to their boss and American Home Shield to make sure my leaking pipe was not covered so they could make more money. I just learned today this is something they train their plumbers.  Not only did I have an expensive bill that should have been covered with holes in my wall and cabinet, but the pipe was still leaking. Isn't that nuts? When someone came back to fix it they advised me Phil that did the original repair was no longer with the company. Thanks, Phil!

Very unprofessional people!  Talking on the phone with the receptionist is a total nightmare.  Before they get the job is professional, but after that She is VERY rude.

Even the owner was unprofessional.  I was told on the phone that they would start at 9am.  So I was totally shocked when at 8:15 I went to let my dogs out and noticed that Daniel was working in my backyard with my air conditioner unit.  My wood fence has a padlock on the gate.  He had unscrewed the gate at the hinges and removed my gate.  Luckily I was paying attention and that my dogs didn't run out of the yard.

The crew that worked on my AC and furnace were not professional either.  I caught one man using my wooden kitchen chairs (which are solid oak and I paid a lot of money for) as a ladder.  He didn't ask if he could use them, just started using them from room to room.  I caught him in using the chair in one of our bedrooms.  I was so mad.
They removed our ceiling vents but when they put screwed them back to the ceiling they dented a couple of dents.  Very noticeable dents.  When we told the worker about the dents, he said it isn't that big a deal.  It was to me.

Don't bother with this company unless you want to deal with a nightmare.

Budget was sent to me as part of my home warranty HSA (that is another story, run from HSA like the plague). We first had another company called by HSA, but they didn't cover unclogging drains. Since we had a clog and broken pipe, they canceled the first plumbers (who we waited three days for and then they could do nothing) and sent over budget.

A young man arrived on time. I explained the problem and showed him the work order from the last plumbers. He kind exhaled and looked confused/worried and said, I'm paraphrasing, I'm going to have to start by pulling out your dishwasher (at a 175$ charge to you HSA would not cover), tearing up drywall, removing cabinets, cutting floor joists (all at an additional charge) and then you will be responsible to fix/pay for whatever is wreaked in your new kitchen and find contractors to fix it. He said I'm not sure where the leak is in this kind of house, so he would have to explore.

Also he said after everything is torn up and he identifies the leak he would have to contact HSA and get it approved. He said the approval process would take a week. Also he said I didn't hear anything about a clogged drain, so I don't have anything on my truck to unclog anything. Which was why HSA switched us to these guys in the first place. After that he would have to get approval to clear the clogged drain (another week) and then he could come back and do that. So I would be down a kitchen for a total of three weeks.

I don't know what kind of racket it this, maybe they just don't want to do HSA work, but that is crazy talk. I had a similar issue in a previous house and had my regular plumber fix it. When I told the budget plumber about that company he said Yeah those guys are really good. I said thanks but no thanks and just paid out of pocket with my regular. After all the destruction costs he advertised, it added it up to almost as much as the really good guys even with a warranty.

Maybe is they were hired outside of the warranty rules they would be good, but under HSA it was worse than the I.R.S. Their receptionists were pleasant and responsive, but the plumber it received just seemed like he was trying to scare me off.

I guess a long story short my treatment by the employees was good, but when it came down to the work, the plumber I received was apprehensive at best. Maybe it was because of the job or maybe it was because of the headache ahead due to the warranty.

William was sent to look at the air conditioner at my rental house. I was not able to look at it myself because I live in another state. At first William told me that the compressor was bad and needed to be replaced. He told me this would cost between $600 and $800 dollars. Then he said that the fan also wasn't working. Further on in the conversation, William told me that the capacitor also wasn't working. He said that overall it would be cheaper to replace the whole air conditioner, and he quoted me a price of $2,000. I had a feeling that William wasn't being honest based on the way our conversation went, so I called another HVAC repairman to take a look at it. This repairman told me that the unit needed a new capacitor, a couple pounds of freon, and that's it. He was able to fix the AC for a total of $240. I specifically asked him about the compressor, and he told me it was perfectly fine. I called Budget and spoke with a manager about what happened, and she did nothing but defend the repairman. Don't use this company! They will rip you off!!!

I will never use this company again.  The only reaon their getting one star is because the problem got fixed.  My husband filled out internet questions about our problem, and picked the closest problem, then called to give a detailed description of our issue.  They then told us theyd be there at 1 pm five days later...they didnt show up until 6 pm.  The person that showed up informed us we didnt pick the correct issue and hadnt brought the correct items, so couldnt fix it.  Said he would take our sevice fee so the next person wouldnt need to charge. The next day a person randomly comes up without informing us of the time, luckily my mom was there babysitting.  The man was incredibly rude when he found out my mom wasnt the home owner and seemed irritated when my mom called my husband multiple times to make sure the repairs he was making were ok.  Telling her he was holding up her opportunities to make money. He yelled at my daughter when she washed her hands (she didn't understanf she wasn't supposed to use water.)  Then, when it came to the bill he was rude to my mom when she refused to pay for us (we were informed we only needed to pay the service fee...which we thought we paid the day before, then were informed our home owners protection plan covered any plumbing issues.)  He made my mom call me and my husband multiple times at work, instead of just billing us, the bill plus an additional service fee, which caused my husband to be yelled at by his supervisor for making to many personal calls.  When I got home, he refused to talk to me, saying he talked to my husband and my mom enough so he wasnt going to spend anymore time informing me of the issue.  Went down stairs, he left a huge mess, including his shoe covers.  My husband called to speak with a supervisor, and was informed he would call him back at the beginnig of the next business day...its been two weeks and were still waiting for a call.  Horrible service.

Be VERY careful if you have to deal with this company.  They were assigned to me through my home warranty company for a water heater repair, which turned out needing to be replaced.  The hw company only covers certain things (which is normal), so this company felt the need to add on several items as additional charges.

Some were legitimate, however they had a few things that they said were needed to bring things up to code.  When I called them to ask about it, first they said it was manufacturer's code, something that the warranty company said didn't exist.  So I called my city's board of code enforcement.  Two of the three things this company wanted to charge were legitimate (expansion tank & lead free shut off valve) and one (the most expensive thing they listed, a pressure reducing valve) was not; the person at the code office couldn't even figure out why they'd try to list that.  Not only that, but the technicians didn't even look at my main water line (which is where the PRV is) to see if one was even present.  This matters since the PRV is covered under my home warranty plan, so repairing it would have been a covered expense.  Instead they wrote it up as needing to install one, which they didn't even verify if one was there.  On top of that this company wanted to charge DOUBLE the fee for a permit (permit fee is actually $65, they want to charge $125).

On top of all that, one of their modification charges was flu modifying they flu yet they wanted to charge me extra for a new flu.  Call me crazy, but if you're putting in a new part, you're not modifying it.

Tried to talk to office personnel about this, would get transferred around and the last time I called once I started questioning their charges to much I was put on hold and then hung up on with no call back.

All I can say is if you choose to work with this company, make sure you know everything their techs look at and then go over their proposal very carefully and double-check anything they tell you with your local building code department.

I will say Cody, the technician is fantastic. I talked to HSA, my home warranty company and told them I had a leaky faucet. I was told at first it was covered. Budget was dispatched and showed up. After reviewing the fine print in the contract, Budget informed me that the issue was not covered.

Budget didn't do any repairs but my warranty company still charged me the $75 service fee and wouldn't refund it. Tyler from Budget Plumbing called and said they would actually refund the $75 to me! Wow! They did not have to do this but they value the customer more than a quick sale. I wish every company operated this way and I would recommend Budget to anyone and will be using them for other repairs in the future.

If only I could given negative stars. This is the third time that I have been forced to use this company as they are used by my home warranty. The service is terrible, unprofessional, and not timely. I have filed a formal complaint with AHS. My first experience wiht them resulted in them telling me I had to remove my kitchen counter to provide access to a leaking pipe behind the wall. I called a REAL plumbing company and they simply asked if it was okay if they go through the cabinet and recommended that I use a piece of luan to cover the hole. It was fixed in an hour and half. The second time resulted in 4 trips to my home (and thus 4 days of missed work) for them to do the job. This last time, they showed up 2 hours early, did not give me the 30 minutes call ahead they promised, and then told me they didn't do the work that I CONFIRMED WITH THIER OFFICE BEFORE SETTING THE APPOINTMENT that they should do and STILL wanted to charge me the $100.00 service fee! Theses guys are total shysters! I have filed a formal complaint with AHS and will absolutely refuse to do business with them again if I have an issue.

If this wasn't through my home warranty I would have never hired them to begin with. 3 weeks after the repair my water line is leaking again!!! I told my warranty company I refused to use them again and they sent me a different company. Turns out BUDGET did an improper ILLEGAL repair on my plumbing. I called my home warranty company about a frozen water pipe that had burst, and they referred me to Budget Heating Cooling and Plumbing.  The plumber came out and confirmed that the water pipe had burst. He called my home warranty company and they told him it was not a covered item on my policy.  I said, that's OK, it needs to be fixed so go ahead and fix it.  The plumber said the pipe was too hard to get to and that he would have to move my washer and dryer to get to it, and that it was too much of a hassle, and that he didn't want to do it. I asked if he was going to charge me the home warranty co-pay and he said no, he would waive it. I've not just received my 3rd late payment invoice from the Home Warranty Company. I am very disappointed in Budget.  I'd used them before with no issues, but this plumber lost a job for them.

First of all, when they came out, the plumber left a valve open to drain the pipes in the house.  He then went outside and I heard a loud pop and lots of water.  Water was spraying all over my basement, soaking my stereo, a stuffed animal and other stuff.  He seemed surprised when he came down. Later on when I went down into the basement, the faucet he fixed was still leaking.  I called back the company, and they refused to send someone out until I went back through my home warranty company.  They wouldn't even give me a time when they could come out, even though I had an active leak.

These guys have been great! They actually came out to look at the rooftop unit on my 150 year old house and fixed an issue I've been struggling for a year with. I'm for sure going to cancel the home warranty people and just go with Budget's service plan for the future.

Update #3 They called again today 8/2 (at 540pm) to reschedule my appointment for Sunday 8/7, apparently there was an emergency request at another house. Then tried to tell me my 3 yr labor warranty had expired on my 1 1/2yr old unit so I would need to pay for labor.....then tried to tell me I was just going to have to pay the $70 dispatch fee....the one they waved when they rescheduled me the first time on 7/29  You would think not having A/C when we have a Heat advisory tomorrow because it will be a heat index of 109 degrees would be an emergency especially when young children and pets are involved but I guess not.......Stuck with them because I have a 3 yr labor and 5 yr parts warranty so if I go with anyone else I have to pay out of pocket. I'm a single mother and a permanently disabled war veteran, please save your self the immense stress they continue to put me under just because they hold the warranty to my A/C.

Updating this review as my A/C has died.....again, for the second time in less than 3 months. The unit was installed Feb 2021.....it's not even a year and a half old yet but I digress. I called on Wed 7/27 and had an appointment for Friday 7/29 after 12. Received a phone call at 3:50 letting me know the technician went home sick (hope they are ok) and had to reschedule for Tue 8/2 after 12pm.....6 days before anyone will even be able to come out and diagnose what the problem is. The customer service representative was incredible and they waived my $69 dispatch fee. It is 85 degrees in my house right now and my animals are having a very hard time with this heat, not to mention my 4 yr old as well. Again, if you want fast service and don't like sitting around in your sweat or have animals that have a hard time in the heat, this is not the company for you.

If you need service quickly this company is NOT for you. I first called them on the 26th of April because my unit I bought through them (only 1yr and 2 months old!!!) was not cooling, they could not fit me in until the 2nd which wasn't bad but the very experienced technician told me he had to order a part.......it came on the 6th, they called me the NEXT DAY to schedule an appointment for the 12th of May. THE DAY BEFORE IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE OVER 90 DEGREES FOR THE SECOND DAY IN A ROW. Mind you my PRACTICALLY BRAND NEW UNIT was not working now I have to figure out how to WORK FROM HOME WITH A FOUR YR OLD IN OVER 90 DEGREE HEAT BECAUSE IT CANNOT BE FIXED UNTIL 2 WEEKS LATER. Save your self the stress and heat.....go with someone else!!!!

Hired to fix a small leak in upstairs vanity and install two new faucets. They left and over the next night whatever work they did has now turned a very tiny drip into a full blown leak that has damaged our walls, flooring and the ceiling, wet bar, carpets and adjacent room below. I am contacting a lawyer bc they obviously claim no fault even though they are the ones who did the work and no one was in the house to mess with the vanity overnight.

I am appalled at their lack of professionalism - they sent out the same shoddy plumber to check his own work. Obviously he did nothing wrong according to himself! It's insane. I am hiring a lawyer immediately.

Ross was helpful in explaining why my water heater wasn't up to snuff and what he was doing every step of the way. He took his time to make sure the adjustments were working and gave me helpful tips on how the water in my place works so I can more efficiently manage the hot water. I would be happy to have him help again!

Horrible customer service ever! I was given a show time of 8:30-9:30. I had to call them at 9:51 to find out what the heck is going on. Apparently technician was at the part house. Was suppose receive a call back but at 10:50 I had to call them back to find out what was going on. Technician was still at the part house and could not give me a good reason why they could not make the scheduled show time. Its 1130. And I just received a text and a call that technician was on the way! Horrible! It has been the worst! I could have gone to work and not lost a whole day's wages!

The sales team seems fine enough and did their job.  My problem is that we were told that rebates for Ameren and Spire were to be filed for us from Budget.  After 3 to 4 months we never received any rebate.  The office person at the time told us it have never been filed, because the sales person didn't give her the account information and it was sitting on her desk.  I gave her my information and it was supposed to be done.  I even called back 2 weeks later to check on it and was told it was filed.  It has not been 2 more months and I still haven't received any rebate.  I called Spire and was told it was never applied for.  I didn't bother calling Ameren, because that rebate expired February 15, 2019.  I have a call into Budget to let them know I am not happy about this.  It was a lot of money I was planning to use to pay towards my purchase.  I will update this for a better review if I ever get the money I was promised.  I gave a poor review, but after the owner got the message of my rebate debunkle, he personally called me and is bringing the rebate to me out of company funds since it had expired.  This is a company I would highly recommend!

I just received notice that my previous review of this company was pulled because i did not explain or refer to my customer experience per the terms AKA the company is trying hard to remove its poor reviews, so beware.

Let me try again here, i was assigned to this company as a preferred provider of my home warranty program. It took them over 6 days to come out to my house which did not have AC in the middle of the summer. My first appointment fell off their radar and i was blamed for it. Once they did get out there they quoted me a price that ended up being double what the next company charged to perform the service. I was told it was going to be so pricey because it required two guys to complete the service. The 2nd company i called provided that wrong as it took 1 person 30 minutes to complete. Overall the company should drop the word budget from their name, it doe not really fit in with their business practices.

Started a claim in May of 2022 and budget was the company assigned to my request. It is now September, currently the 6th technician is at my house (a manager this time) I'm still without air and each visit I've been given a different reason for my unit not working from a fan not working to a leak and lack of refrigerant to too much refrigerant and location of my unit. Location of unit was the last visit after $1100 out of pocket.  Hoping this visit is the miracle but not getting my hopes up. If you have any other options in repair companies definitely go that route bc they've been nothing but incompetent and slow to respond after the initial visit.

This company was supposed to come ms check our furnace. They never called to set up a time. They told the warranty company they called and got no answer so they were cancelling to the call. Then I read all of the comments for this company. I do not want these people doing anything in my home. I checked every phone we have and they never called. Now I have to wait for a refund. Glad I found out about this company before I had any services done.

From my first phone call with Budget, they were rude. I had service scheduled this afternoon and they called to say I didn't answer the door. I was waiting in my office, next to the door, also overlooking the circle drive they would have parked in. No one came. When I asked to verify the address {because if the indeed did show up, it was to the wrong house}, they were extremely rude and refused to send him back. If he did just leave my house as they said, he would have been able to come immediately. I don't appreciate being lied to. It's very clear that they are not customer service oriented and know that you have no option of requesting a different company when you are using a home warranty.

My home warranty company recommended Budget to repair my furnace. On Monday, Mel was at my home. He found that the inducer fan motor was faulty and stated that there office would contact me in a couple days to schedule the final repair. He stated that it may take a day or two to find the motor. On Tuesday I received a call from Jackie stating that they had found the motor, lie #1, but could not fit me into the schedule untill between 8 and noon on Thursday. I asked if there were any openings on Wednesday and she said there were none. My girlfriend called back later and talked to Jackie who told her that they did not have the motor, but it was on order and they hoped to have it late Wednesday, but would have it Thursday for sure, lie #2. On Thursday at 8:30 am I received a call from a dispatcher stating that they could not find the motor locally, but they had found one a couple hours away so they would have to make the repair that afternoon, lie #3. At 12:30 pm I received a phone call from Amy stating that we needed to reschedule because the part was in Collinsville, IL and they had no way to get it and have it installed during business hours. She stated that if I wanted to pay her technicians overtime she would be happy to have him run to Collinsville and complete the repair as well. When I stated that I was told that someone was on the way at 8:30 that morning to get the motor she said that was a mistake on her new dispatchers part and that since my home warranty company would not pay any extra charges and since they receive a discounted rate on there parts and labor, she could not help me. My girlfriend then called her back and threatened to report them to the home warranty company to have them banned from there preferred vendor list as well as report them to the BBB, miraculously they found a local vendor that they don't typically use, that had the part and had a technician who was an hour away finalize the repair. Amazingly he had the part and was at my home in 40 minutes, and took maybe 30 minutes to replace the motor. I feel this was an attempt to gain some money from me for the discount rates paid by the home warranty company.  Will never allow this company anywhere near any property that I own again!!!!

I am giving them one Star as it has been an ordeal to get my A/C up and running. I am going through HSA Home Warranty and I am trying to figure out if the horrible service is HSA or Budget. Fact of the Matter: Budget has been to my house three times in the past two weeks and we still do not have ANY A/C. I am in the waiting game again between HSA and Budget. Entirely at their mercy! If things speed up and they finally do a good job, then I will come back here and give them 5 Stars, but until then, my experience has been horrible.

Hate to even give 1 star but zero stars is not an option.  Quoted $69 for a/c check.  Charged almost $300.  Beware of this scam artist company.

Absolute garbage is the only words I can use to describe this company.  If I could give zero stars I would in a heartbeat.  I had a home warranty that sent Budget to my house.  They lied and said they would fix everything then told the insurance company it shouldnt be covered.  After confronting them, the manager was very rude and interrupted me every time I spoke.  They gave me the run around FOR NINE DAYS, when all I wanted was to get a straight answer.  They called back and basically told me they would not contact me again and that they would not work with me.
Under no circumstances should you use this company.  If they are issued by your home warranty company dont even waste your co-pay.

I'm going to have to sue this company. They didn't finish the job and I moved a lot of my grandmothers things when she died into my place including her china and china cabinet as well as a chest of drawers for storage purposes. I was having a conversation with my mother about the heating and cooling situation and she said that the chest of drawers had a diamond necklace and gold watch and a several silver and gold wedding rings and if I had checked to see if it was there before the move and I did not. Upon returning to the house the place was trashed and holes were beat into my walls and ceiling apparently for no reason and my grandmothers chest of drawers was rifled through as well as a jewelry armoire my family could be more than likely out 10000 dollars. I have filed a police report but they've told me that its most likely a civil matter. Stay far away from this company they deserve to be bankrupt!!!!!

I had a leaky shower and called budget, the guy knew within 5 minutes what to fix and I asked how much? He said he didn't know and kept working! He finished after 15 MINUTES and said it was 319.00........

He didn't even tell me how much before he did the work, I feel scammed! The part he changed was $35 bucks at home depot! This company is a scam and I will not use them again and don't suggest anyone else does either!

I wish I knew all they names but I'm the black dude with the Dobe and y'all was hella cool with me man below is what they did and they explained it all professionally and I felt confident with there work.

The company was provided to me via my home warranty.  My a/c unit wasn't cooling off the house a had ice on the outside unit.  The technician arrived during scheduled window of time.  He seemed to be in a rush. We were informed that there was a leak and that the unit needed more freon. Fast forward 3 weeks and we are experiencing the same issue.  The technician that arrived for the second visit was very thorough. He said there was more than one leak and replaced freon and completed repair. Hopefully all is well now.

Save your time & money and do not use this company. They work for warranty companies, not people. Our warranty company sent this company to repair our AC, tech said unit was too old and damaged for her to repair or even clean it, then incorrectly diagnosed the issue. She went on to talk more about financing the cost of replacing the unit (4K-8k) than she did even looking at the unit. We called someone reliable and they correctly diagnosed and repaired our unit cheaper and quicker than this company.
