Hello, My name is Steve Nerheim, I am the owner of Steve's Professional Sewer & Drain Service. As I have stated previously, I have very affordable prices for my services. I can unblock, any drain line in your home, such as the kitchen sink, bath tub, floor drain, bath sink, and of course the main sewer line. (From your house to the city sewer). I will treat your home like it is my own, by placing tarps and towels in the area I will be working in to protect your property as best as I can. I clean up after the work has been completed.

During this last storm I noticed that there had been a little water in our basement. I immediately thought it was because our sump pump wasn't working properly so I called Steve to see if he could check it to see why it wasn't going on. Steve said he couldn't help with this but referred me to a plumber. However, upon speaking with Steve and explaining the situation Steve explained what he thought happened and in the end I wouldn't need to call a plumber at all. There aren't many contractors who would call you back to explain this knowing that it wouldn't be a sale. You can be sure if I ever have a drain issue Steve is the one I'd call. Reading all the other reviews is the reason I contacted Steve in the first place. Thank you Steve. You made my day

I had a toilet that was slow and often incompletely emptied. Steve arrived promptly and said it was $90 to snake the toilet. He got started while I wrote out the check. As I handed him the check, he was finishing up and said I was all set. Except it was not. The toilet was as slow as ever when I tested the flush.
When I pointed this out to him he said he had no idea what the problem was and walked out. Subsequently I talked to another plumber who told me to check the siphon jet. Sure enough, it was blocked by scale and I was able to correct the problem by pouring in a gallon of vinegar and letting it set overnight. Toilet flushes like new, no thanks to Steve.
I called him and explained my dissatisfaction, and he was dismissive as ever.
So on the one hand, he snaked the toilet and did the work I paid him for. However, it did no good, and he offered no advice or suggestion. Even when I explained another plumber offered a solution, and it worked, he did not care.
I expect more from the professionals I hire.

We have used Steve several times since buying our home. He is punctual every time and gets the job done without issue. His pricing is fair and he is a super nice guy! We will continue to use his service and recommend him.
Steve was great, super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend him, he responded really quickly, and it was a fair price.
