Anthony came out immediately and assessed the issues we had with water accumulating in our basement. We had assumed it was a plumbing/draining issue with our washing machine based on where the water showed up but Anthony put the extra effort in and was able to narrow down the factors to improper draining from outside the home. Overall I couldn't have been happier with Empire Plumbing as they showed they actually care about the us and finding the problem. I would highly recommend them.

I have had a friendly and nice chat with Jason while he was working the issues of H2O Concepts plumbing and I consider him a company man, and for what it's worth, you need someone who keeps up with technical skills so that the customer does not have him come back again for something that should have been right the very first time.
His technical skills will leave the customer pleasantly pleased to have him working on your property while doing what he knows best:
Walking away from any job knowing his work is as perfect as it gets and his customer is 100% satisfied with  Jason and co worker.

Scheduled 4 for sure appointments and no showed everyone of them without the simple courtesy of a text or call. Average, partial jobs when they did show.

Very impressed! Came out as scheduled and gave a quick and through inspection/quote. They were able to perform the job same day and left the area cleaner than before. Wore masks and were very respectful of our social distancing. Highly recommend.

There is only one company in my file cabinet when it comes down to plumbing and that's Empire Plumbing!  They installed a new toilet in my bathroom a couple years ago and did such a great job from the initial phone call, all the way to them cleaning up and walking out the door after the job was done, that I decided to call upon them once again to help me fix the drain next to my wash machine which seemed clogged.  Had an appointment for 2pm and Anthony called me exactly at 2pm and said they would be there in 10 minutes.  Anthony, Joe, and Nick (btw all brothers) showed up and worked as a team answering any questions I had and explained everything they were doing and why.  Very friendly and  professional group of guys who take pride in their work!

Folks, all the other 5 star reviews are absolutely correct. A second generation whose sons do the father right. Prompt, reasonable priced, honest, what more can you ask for.

I decided to build a bathroom in my basement.  Got quotes from a number of different plumbers. Tony was by far the most knowledgable and reasonably priced one out of them.  He was patient and very helpful.  All of the employees that came out to work on it were super friendly and just as knowledgeable.  I couldn't have asked for a better experience.   Hire them.  You won't regret it.

We moved in to our house in the spring of 2014 and a month after I walked in to the basement to a flood. The people who lived here before us hid the major issue of the house being below grade and a HUGE hole in the foundation exposing the house to dirt. Every time it would rain the right way we would have a flood.

Anthony, Joe and Nicolas with Empire plumbing not only dug up our basement and spent hours hauling out bags and bags of dirt and concrete to put in a floor drain (since there wasn't one down there when there should have been) as well as put in a draining system against the wall to stop the flooding from coming in to our house. They were so accommodating and made sure this was done before our daughter's first birthday party weeks before Christmas.

They were so kind, they showed that they cared about my family. They showed that you can be a successful company and still care about your customers. These days, you don't come by that very often.

I highly recommend this company for any and all your plumbing needs. I would have been happy to pay them more for their hard manual labor that is involved in their job.

Scammers. Came the first time and they weren't able to fix what was clogged and stated they need to bring a bigger machine to fix it. Came the second time and they were able to unclog it yet I was told that they need to bring in a bigger machine. So for charging me $400 why didn't you do that from the beginning

Empire is hands down the best plumbing company that exists.  I should have written this review long ago.  Empire is a family owned business that is honest and respectful.  They have done many things at my house over the last couple of years.  New hot water heater,  new toilet, new faucet in kitchen, gas line for stove and rerouted my sump pump drain from my back yard into the front of my house to connect to the city sewer lines.  All of this great service warranted an outstanding review!  
But today, I got a text from an elderly friend who asked me for my plumbers phone number 2 days ago.  She has been having plumbing problems in her basement.  She has had a different company out twice in 10 days.  2 days ago the same problem occurred for the 3rd time.  That is when she called Empire Plumbing.  Her text to me today said, I love your plumber.  The experience was fantastic right from the start!  
Empire is the best.  And I do tell everyone.

Oh man, what great guys.  We had water coming into our basement late on a Friday.  My usual plumbers (not anymore) weren't open, so I turned to Yelp.  I found Empire Plumbing and I am so happy with that decision.  The immediate problem was fixed (he stayed until like 2 am...I totally fell asleep while he was here).  We've since had them back for some sump pump work. I am extremely happy and won't go back to my other plumbers .  Thanks guys!!

Apparently I'm to poor to get help from this company. I live in a mobile home that uses same type of water pipe but because I don't have the luxury to be in a real house I recieve no help....poor poor service.

Will be my Plumbers for life. Family business. Good and honest people. I have referred them to my family.

All the drains in my home were backed up, and I started the project of fixing them by calling another plumbing company. They came out, charged me $70 and said that I would probably need to hydro-jet to unclog them for a cool $1,000. I decided to get a second opinion, so I hired Empire Plumbing. The guys came out, went right to a drain that the other company completely ignored, and found that a gateway flange was corroded and blocking waterflow. They explained everything to me in a way that made sense and solved my issues for over $1,000 less than the other company was trying to get me to pay. Bottom line: if you need plumbing and you're in their service area, call Empire Plumbing.

Excellent service. Came to my home the day after I called. Explained my drain issue to me in full detail and fixed it. They were extremely friendly and informative. Also, they made sure they cleaned up entirely before they left. I highly recommend Empire Plumbing and will definitely use them in the future!

Update: sidewalk completed 10/29 & cement picked up 10/30

TL;DR
Our sewer line was not fixed for three months throughout this time our basement was flooding. Things were forgotten or not completed up to the city's standards needing to be redone. Going into month 11 we still have no sidewalk; their contract has not been completed.

LONG FORM
December 26 or 27, 2018- They came out to provide an estimate for our house on the 26th or 27th of December 2018 the estimate paperwork reflects both dates.

January 9, 2019 - We signed a contract to have our sewer line replaced and the sidewalks replaced after. In the meantime, our basement was filling with water every time there was any form of precipitation. They made a temporary attempt to have some water flow which was successful for a few days and offered to come back out if it flooded in the meantime before they started work but the unfortunate part is that we would not know it needed temporarily snaked until it flooded and they kept canceling or not showing to fix the main problem.

January 17, 2019- They came out and started after admittingly forgetting to file the necessary permits to start the week prior. This was something that was told to my husband over the phone so unfortunately, I have no documentation of this.

January 23, 2019- They were scheduled to come out to finish but canceled due to weather. They canceled or just did not show up again until March 21. Understandably they cannot dig in unsafe conditions but there was little to no communication during this time and throughout this, our basement continued to flood anywhere from one or two inches to a foot on the worst day.

March 14- No show, presumably weather. We call again very upset that for three months, we have had water in our basement, we had cleaned it, bleached it, and lost items countless times. Our basement had flooded at the very least 10 times by this point.

March 19- Canceled, sick

March 21- They came out and presumably finished the sewer work. We received no communication from them after and we assumed we would hear back about the sidewalk being put back in as that was part of our contract.

August 12- After absolutely no communication we called and were told they had forgotten about the sidewalk and would receive a call back from Anthony. We never received a call back.

August 22- We called again and were told it would be scheduled for a time in mid-September.

September 10- We called again to get an idea of when they would be out and nothing was scheduled. Again, I received just another promise that Anthony will contact us back later (he never did).

September 11- We called again the next day after not receiving a call and spoke with Tony who said he had just spoken with someone who would be out next week. Next week being September 16-20, in this call, only the sidewalk work was referenced.

September 13- We received voicemail by Denise that they would be out the September 24-27 to do the sidewalk.
September 19- People were at our house working we assumed we were just given the incorrect date or we had been bumped up. No sidewalk is put in and a pile of the old sidewalk was added on the easement. This means that when they worked on our house previously, they threw all the cement in the pile of dirt over the plumbing. A partially approved sticker is left on our mailbox.
September 20- We called and are told the job was never completed, to begin with, and that the city requested things to be fixed which they claim they did. We were still anticipating the sidewalk to be placed on the dates promised.
October 7- We reach out and they say someone would be out that week to complete the sidewalk.

October 17- Someone finally came out but only installed the forms.
October 21- We reach out after no contact from them and they are unaware we still have no sidewalk. They say that the city needed to inspect the forms and now they are inspected, and we should have sidewalk soon.

October 28 (today)- The job has been paid in full since the beginning of the year. We have no sidewalk and the pile of garbage cement remains on our easement and has not been removed. We never received anything other than a partially approved sticker. They continue to blame other cement companies even though the sidewalk is on our contract with them. To this day Anthony has never called me and spoke with my husband one time throughout this process. I spoke with Tony once not by him contacting me but by luck of him answering the phone.

Update to owner's reply:
We had a pump draining water out of the basement NOT a sump pump. It began flooding on the night of Christmas Eve and no one was available to come out until the 26th. At no point during this process was an increase in cost or our financial status discussed with us. I understand they contract other people for cement but our contract is signed with Empire Plumbing making it the company's responsibility to ensure the work is complete.

I needed to hydro-jet and camera the main drain line of a rental house I was selling. The sale/close was contingent upon getting this work done. Even though they had a full schedule, Anthony was able to move things around to get my job taken care of as fast as possible to help me get the sale closed on time. My experience with Empire was top notch.

Joe and Anthony replaced a toilet and did a beautiful job.  They explained exactly what they were doing and why during the process.  They were very nice and showed up when promised.

Great service!  They fixed my shower. The builder did a shoddy job which caused problems over the years to include dripping. The two guys they sent fixed the drip and corrected the builders errors. They gave us a low quote and even though they decided to install more expensive parts, they didn't charge us more. I am very happy with the service received. The reps were courteous and professional.

These guys do outstanding work, but more than that they're honest, hard working, and feel like family. I'd hire them again if only on account of our personal interactions. Keep up the good work!

After such a good experience with Empire working on my bathroom sink, they were the first ones I thought to call when I needed a gas line brought up from my basement. They came out and did an estimate for me and seeing as the price was definitely affordable, we scheduled a date for them to come out and do the work. They arrived on time, were very professional, did a great job and came in on budget. Since my new stove was not on site when they did the work they told me to call them if there were any issues getting it hooked up. Very helpful and a great experience again. Our neighbor used them a few years ago for sump pump drain lines and recommended them. We had our sump pump and piping to drain to the storm sewer done yesterday. They were professional and did an amazing job. We have lived in our home over 20 yrs and replaced sump pumps at least 5 times. Due mainly to the piping underneath our deck and yard tree roots.  They took care of us and we couldn't be happier.

Wow. During a time where finding a good reliable plumbing service is difficult, Empire Plumbing came through HUGE. The responsiveness on scheduling, the communication during the quote process, the professionalism on executing the work...it was all excellent. I wish every contractor was like this. I respect how they do business. I give my highest recommendation.

I have requested to replace fill valve of my toilet after my DIY failures.  Anthony and Nick came in and diagnosis problems.  They have caught problems I forgot to mention, which had leakage problems from shutoff valve.  I was pleased their works and prices were reasonable.  I will recommend them to work on plumbing jobs.  They are professional and very polite.

We have worked with Empire twice - once to install a backup sump pump and once to handle some rough-in work for a new bathroom. Extremely responsive and also very helpful with questions we had. The service was very well done and reasonably priced. They are our go-to for any and all plumbing needs!

I would recommend Empire to anyone!  They are professional, knowledgeable and friendly!  We've used them a couple of times now and will definitely use them again!

Okay, here's an update after actually hiring them.

The two guys that came were polite, thorough and explained everything they were doing. They wore booties and cleaned up so well that you'd never have know they were here. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

This is the second time we had a need for a plumber.  We were very happy with Empire Plumbing previously... So we called them again for a different issue in our new home (built in 1955).  These guys are professional, prompt and thorough.  I highly recommend them!

I recently bought a new house with two renovated bathrooms, and both of the wax seals on my toilets failed at the same time. Empire was able to get someone over right away to diagnose the problem (even though they were stuck late at another job site), and then was able to get a team over to fix the issue quickly as well. They were fair priced, thorough, and considerate of my time. I'd definitely recommend Empire.

I had them come out to check out my leaking basement. Both guys who came seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. When we were in my home they quoted me $8500, but when they wrote up the proposal it was over $3000 more. I received 2 other quotes after them and they both quoted me $8500. I feel like they may have tried to take advantage of me.

Anthony came out and scoped the drains on a house I was looking to purchase. His price was very fair and he explained everything we were seeing through the whole process. Luckily the drains were clean and no further repairs were required. Before leaving, he even gave me a few tips on some minor fixes he thought I could do on my own, rather than suggesting I'd need a professional (him) to fix them. They were honest, nice guys who did good work at a very fair price. If I ever need any other plumbing work done, I will be calling Empire again.

Anthony came out as scheduled and did a very thorough job assessing where the water was coming from in our basement.  He tested the washing machine, kitchen sink, even hoses down the wall from the outside to locate the leak.  Both men were very professional.  They wore booties in the home and cleaned up any mess they made.

Called Empire based on some good YELP feedback and was pleasantly surprised how honest, professional, and thorough these guys were.  I had a few problems that needed to be addressed at my residence. They came out looked at the situation, gave me a recommendation and quote, then all i had to do is schedule the time.  I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.
