Peterson Plumbing & Sand Pumping

We moved into an older house and knew sooner or later we would need plumbing work. We hired Peterson's Plumbing for the job and what a horrible mistake we made!! Redoing all of the plumbing turned into a huge nightmare with this company as they are not experienced and knowledgeable plumbers. ANYTHING GOES IS THEIR ATTITUDE! Within a few weeks after they completed the work, we had a pipe break in the wall and by the time they came out to fix it mold had developed and a lot more Sheetrock had been destroyed!! This company is a joke and the owner Mark Peterson is a master manipulator. He will try to feed you as much crap as your willing to listen to. My plumbing is a total nightmare now and I've had more pipes break since and have had multiple leaks. Beware of this company!
*Update- it has now been two years since they have completed the work* We decided we would dig up our garden and plant new plants this summer. Upon digging, we started hitting our hot and cold pipes in the ground. There is no way we can put a small bush or Gardenia in the ground because we cannot dig deep enough without hitting the pipes. This is unreal!!

BEWARE! Do NOT use this company! We were in the process of selling our home and the potential buyers used these guys (hired by their REMAX real estate agent) for an inspection. He walked in the door with an obnoxious attitude and started talking about how messed up our plumbing was and how he would hate to mess up the sale for us. The house is a meticulously cared for home built in 2006 in a higher end neighborhood. He writes up a report stating that we need major plumbing work that will cost upwards of $9,000. Also, they took apart our toilets and didn't reseal them properly, I mean come on. Due to their unprofessionalism, and the fact that they couldn't even reinstall the toilets properly, we refused to work weWe hired a professional and reputable company (Tunnel Vision) to come and check if there was anything wrong with our plumbing and GUESS WHAT? Our plumbing is perfectly fine and needs NO repairs! When we called the owner, Mark Peterson, to ask when he was going to send someone to fix the toilets he stated Whatever Pal, sue me! Total Scumbag! I'm convinced that he was working with the REMAX real estate agent to pull one over on us and that the real estate agent was going to get a kickback. He charged the poor potential homebuyers $800.00 for a paper full of lies. Unfortunately this scam has probably worked a number of times. DO NOT HIRE these people for anything, especially if you are trying to buy or sell a home.

I bought a new house a few months ago and the home inspector said I needed fill under the house to keep it from holding standing water around the pilings. The builder hired these guys to pump sand under the house. I will say with all the near miss storms it took a few weeks for us to get our schedules to mesh as he wanted me to be home when they did the job. Anyway once they showed up the guys that came out could not have been any nicer or more professional. They ended up pumping two dump truck loads of sand under my house and now there is no chance it will hold water any more. I just poured a slab in my back yard so they used the last little bit of sand and put around the edge of the slab and tapered it off to the ground. All in all I'm a satisfied customer !!!
