A.Smith Plumbing Plumbing Service
This guy came to my house and solved the plumbing needs really fast.  After telling him what the problem was he immediately knew what to do.  I have since referred him to all that I  know that is in need of a plumber.  And everyone who has used him tell me what a value he is!!

Tony LaMartina Plumbing Plumbing Service
I am giving Tony LaMartina Plumbing Company 5 stars despite having suffered from sticker shock when presented with the bill.

Let's take the cost out of the equation and review the facts.

I am just shy of 70 years old - that's 490 dog years.  In other words I have achieved old codger status.  (to prove it, I can remember when White Castles were 5 cents a piece).

I am fairly handy around the house.  In fact, part of the reason my wife married me is because I'm good with my hands. (Oh no, you didn't just go there!).  I figured I would install the new faucet myself, as I had done several times in the past in other houses.

After shutting off the water I successfully removed the old water supply lines.  Then I removed the drain stopper closer parts, but ran into a snag.   Because of the narrow space under this old porcelain sink, I couldn't get any of my wrenches or channel locks around the lock nuts that secured the old faucet.

At that point I left the house to purchase a plumbers basin wrench, and two new flexible water supply lines.  I was able to get the new wrench around the nuts but unable to loosen them. One of them had rust around it so I sprayed some WD-40 on it since I didn't have any Lock-Ease.  I gave it a few minutes and tried again.  No success.

It was at that point that I hopped on Yelp.  After a careful review of the reviews I called Tony LaMartina.  That's such a lyrical name, Tony LaMartina.  Kind of reminds me of Al Pacino's character in the movie Scarface - Tony Mantanya. Say hello to my little wrench.

I was surprised that they had a plumber that could come the same day. I asked Do you offer senior discounts?  Alas, they do not, but as my dead Momma used to say, It doesn't hurt to ask.

I made the appointment and as the nice young lady on the phone informed me, I was texted when Yves was on his way.  I also received an email with a brief biography of Yves and his photo.  Nice touch. That greatly reduced the odds of a serial killer coming to my house.

Yves arrived about 20 minutes later and when he backed up his large truck onto my driveway two words entered my mind:  Cha and Ching!
But I also figured he was sure to have any tool or part needed to finish the job.

I was struck by Yves professionalism from the moment he entered my home and slipped on two pink booties over his shoes, to avoid soiling my carpet or hardwood floors.  Any amateur would have used another color, but as you all know, pink is a calming color. Okay, I'm being a little silly with that one.

I led Yves to the basement and explained how I had attempted to do the job myself, and how far I got.  I even showed him the wrench I bought.

Yves is originally from Haiti and to make him feel comfortable I put on some Bob Marley and offered him some ganga mahn, to enjoy while he worked.  That part is blatantly untrue.  But we did chat briefly about Haiti because years ago I visited Labadee, Haiti.

But I digress.

Yves told me I had purchased the right tool, in fact he used it to remove the lock nuts that were too tight for wimpy old senior guy to loosen.  Then he proceeded to complete the removal of the old faucet and installed the new faucet and attach the new flexible water lines.

When Yves tested the new faucet only a trickle of water came out. He initially told me that there was probably debris that got loosened in the installation process (my words, not his).  However, after he removed the aerator he spent a few minutes extracting two small plastic parts, which I presume were part of the faucet water conservation mechanism.  We don't need no stinken water conservation! I said to myself.  Actually, it's just the two of us, and while I did install water saving shower heads in our two bathrooms, for a basement sink that we don't use that often I didn't think water conservation down there was an issue.

When Yves put the aerator back on without the two plastic parts the water flowed like you would expect, with decent pressure.

It took a little under one hour and when he was done in response to my query, What's the damage? he computed the charges on a tablet, then emailed a copy to me.

When he said, $162, my life flashed before me.  My wife was going to kill me.  $162 for a basement sink that we only use once in a while? Oy yoy yoy!  I could only imagine what the bill would have been if I hadn't done much of the preliminary work and decided to keep the old metal drain, rather than install the plastic one that came with the new faucet.

That being said, you get what you pay for and I got a professional job, and since I wouldn't have known about the water conservation aspect, really needed a pro to finish what I started.

There may be cheaper plumbers out there but there are no better ones. I'd spend the extra money if you have it, or can sell something quick on Craigslist to raise fundage, and hire a competent professional.  There's something to be said for peace of mind.

Larry came out to inspect the water pressure in our home. He was very nice and helpful. He told us exactly what he believed the problem was and didn't pressure us into using them to fix it.

Must hire Nascar Drivers. One flew past me easily going 25 over speed limit and sprayed my vehicle with debris.  No concern for other drivers what so ever. Don't support this business.  I won't be surprised to see them in the news for a car accident soon.

Nu Flow St Louis Plumbing Service
If your home's aging and root-infested pipes are causing problems, and if cabling and jetting are reaching the point of no more positive return, then you'll probably be getting yourself some estimates for replacing your sewer main. And if you're fortunate to have a house situated in such a way that equipment easy negotiates the terrain, and there's a clear digging path from the house's cast iron to the municipal sewer connection, and you don't mind losing all your landscaping in between, then perhaps a standard trenching solution is right for you.  However, if equipment entry is awkward, and/or your piping travels underneath a house addition or patio, and/or you don't want to lose all the landscaping you've invested in, then THERE IS ANOTHER WAY.  Nu-flow TRENCHLESS, CURED-IN-PLACE, PIPE RE-LINING.

For me, Nu-Flow worked because it a.) did not require a trench that would tear up my backyard or possibly affect my sunroom piers, b.) seemed a reliable solution backed by a ten-year warranty, and c.) edged out the trenching bids with a better price. David, Kevin, and the other staff members were friendly and efficient, and I was out of my house only one night.  Thanks, Nu-Flow, for the house artery angioplasty.  Everything is flowing just fine.

So happy with the multitude of fixtures that Jason installed for us. We hit him with a laundry list of fixtures to install, and we are so impressed with his work! Kemper was able to get us on the schedule quickly and Jason was friendly, prompt, and took it with grace when my two big dogs wanted to be friends with him.

Reeds 24 Hr Plumbing & Drain Plumbing Service
DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBER!!! He is unreliable and much worse than that.... He will take your money to order your materials and NOT actually pay for your materials. He will set a time to work at your establishment and NOT show up. He cost us $x,xxx because we paid him up front for our materials and then we had to go pay the supplier AGAIN to get our materials in order for a reputable plumber to finish our job.

Trio Plumbing Co Plumbing Service
Recently, one of our tenants at a rental property moved out and when the new tenants moved in, they reported several plumbing issues.  Trio sent over a tech  to service the dishwasher and a few other minor issues.  The tenant reported that the dishwasher did not work.  I heard multiple conversations between my wife and Trio office and the tech stating that the dishwasher is old, that she would like for Trio to assess the dishwasher, and to repair / replace if necessary.  According to the new tenant, the tech discovered that the supply line to the dishwasher, which is located in the basement, was shut off.  The tech then turned on the supply and started the dishwasher which appeared to be functioning normally at the time.  According to the new tenant, the tech did not go back into the basement to see if the dishwasher had any leaks nor did the tech assess whether the dishwasher leaked upon draining as he reportedly did not cycle through to drain.  I personally have done enough repair jobs to know that this could be a fairly common misstep, not cycling through to check for leaks.

A few days later, the new  tenant called and told us that the dishwasher was leaking severely.  Water was pouring into the basement.  The tenant noticed water in the basement previously but was not sure of the source as they had not been in the basement when the dishwasher was running.  My wife called the tech to discuss this issue.  She also called the Trio office to try to work out this issue that is supposed to be guaranteed for 1 year.  Our contention is that the tech failed to properly assess the condition of the dishwasher.  He solved the fill problem but did not identify a possible leak.  The water being shut off should have raised a red flag that there was a potential issue.  We as landlords were not aware that the supply to the dishwasher had been shut off by the previous tenant.

My wife proposed that Trio go back over to the property, reassess the leak issue, and repair and/or replace the dishwasher but to waive the service call charge.  That proposal seems fair in that Trio only addressed the fill issue but did not fully assess any possible leaks.  Further, Trio would potentially make more money by replacing what is no question an old dishwasher  with a new installation and make a loyal customer out a person who owns several properties.

The lady in the office suggested that my wife call Nick to request that he go back over the fix his misstep.  Nick refused stating that the problem with the dishwasher was that the supply line was shut off.  My wife asked Nick why he thought the supply line was shut off.  My wife told me that Nick states that he assumed that the property was winterized.  In June?  The property was vacant for one week.

My wife called Trio office to request to speak to a Supervisor.  After 4 days and no call from a supervisor, my wife called again and spoke to Mark, who identified  himself as the owner.  Mark stated that his technician was correct in his action, that they were not going to go back to the job.  He raised his voice, he was argumentative, he repeatedly talked over my wife when she  tried to speak.  Then, he called her back and continued to be argumentative, and hostile.  She hung up on him.  THEN, he called back again!!  She did not answer.

According to Google Reviews and Yelp reviews, Mr Mark has a history of this type of behavior.  He is completely unprofessional and rude.

We are going to buy a new dishwasher from Lowe's and we are going to tell them to use any other contractor besides Trio.  If they cannot meet that requirement, then the deal is off.

Dependable Plumbing & Sewer Cleaning Plumbing Service
Can't give a review because the times I called to set up an appointment the plumber was always booked up weeks out and was told he only does two jobs a day. I'm not certain of the cost of service because I never received service. If you are in a rush to get a plumber this may not be a good choice. I give it two stars just for being able to talk to someone and being told no availability and why.

Castle Remodeling Solutions Plumbing Service
SUPER PLEASES AND EXCITED TO HAVE INTERNET WORKING THROUGHOUT OUR HOME AND 2 ADDITIONAL BUILDINGS ON OUR PROPERTY.  We never thought this was possible because we live in a rural area where satellite internet is just not strong; However Castle AV Media Solutions, Jeff and Thomas, knew exactly what we needed to make it possible!! They recommend the equipment and Jeff worked hard installing wifi extenders. He got everything up and running, including boosting the speed of the existing internet by a few points. He even assisted me installing the proper apps on my devices as well as did a quick trouble shoot with the app company to ensure I knew how to maintain these connections properly going forward to stay connected! Jeff even went above and beyond for us a day later when he scheduled a call after hours to trouble shoot a minor issue and resolved the issue for us immediately!  We are so grateful for the expertise and knowledge Jeff brought to the table. Wish I would have found them years ago! Thank you Jeff and Thomas for your hard work. Sincerely Lisa M

PK Plumbing Plumbing Service
The plumber, who arrived had an excuse and complained about everything and he fixed nothing.  He didn't even bring his tools and had me take off the jacuzzi bath tub cover.  He blamed everything on my home warranty company and said they wouldn't allow him to take it off.  The Plumber from PK Plumbing LLC was incompetent and unprofessional.  The next day, I found anther company who sent a plumber out who quickly found the problem.

Crescent Plumbing Supply Plumbing Service
Skip the big boxes! These guys know their stuff and will talk you through any questions you have. We purchased a new toilet here and received great service. They are not as cheap as the big boxes, but you pay for selection, expertise, and quality. Since they supply plumbers, they typically have better quality items.

My only gripe on toilets and sinks is that they solely carry Kohler. Kohler is a great brand, but having more to choose from is good.

They have a showroom for fixtures or go to the other door on the right to buy fittings and pipe at the counter.
