Technician arrived on time and explained the procedures to identify the the problem with the lateral sewer line and went to work.

After identifying the problem, he explained how he would open the drain. Everything was recorded on video and he played it to show how the drain was opened and made sure he answered all of my questions.

Everything was upfront and they never tried to up-sell services

A company with two R's in the name came out twice and charged $393. and the pipe wasn't  opened / repaired.

Just completed the installation of a new gas fireplace insert. I chose to have a licensed plumber (Arch Plumbing) tap and run the gas line back to the fireplace. The fireplace installer just had to hook up to the gas line placed by Arch.

I highly recommend Arch plumbing for their cooperation, price, patience and work quality.

Arch came out on Thursday and gave me a bid (reasonable considering my short time frame), then returned the following Monday and installed the gas line.

Both (Arch & fireplace installer) came the same day and worked together very professionally.

Don with Roto Rooter is AMAZING and did a great job not only replacing our pressure regulator, but he also explained the problem with our water flow and everything that he did to fix the problem.

Yes they are cheap but so is the work i had my sewer line back up and it took them near 5 hours to get here. Once the guy was done i tried to run my washer and it backed up again then it was another 3 hours. You get what you pay for

First Plumber I have used in St Louis since moving here but they were great. Seemed very knowledgeable and pricing fair. I had a sump pump go out during bad rain storm and they had one installed in just a short period of time. I would recommend to a friend.

My kitchen sink had slowly been backing up for the last 2 weeks until it no longer drained at all.  I called at least 3 other plumbing places who either didn't return calls, were too busy, or didn't show up at all.  Very frustrating. (Are they all like this?)  I hadn't heard of Drain Dudes but they had some good reviews so I gave them a call.  Robert, the owner, answered and said he would gladly accommodate me on his schedule the next day and at a time good for me.  He came by the next morning on time and got right to work.  He immediately located the clog while explaining to me what he was doing throughout the process.  Since my utility/washing machine drain and bathroom drains also connect downstream of the kitchen before going to the city sewer system, he trouble shot those as well to make sure that there were no clogs in the adjoining pipes. Patience with his use of his snake auger paid off and he was able to clear what turned out to be 2 major clogs within the system.  I now have peace of mind that my entire household system is clear.  He knows his business and did it at a very reasonable cost.  I'm keeping him on retainer for any future plumbing needs.

TJ from Arnon Rooter recently came to help unclog a horrific kitchen drain backup that no plunger, Drano, Liquid Plumber or baking soda/vinegar combo could do.  (Believe me, I tried them all.)  I really wasn't expecting much since they were sent out by our home owner's warranty.  That said, TJ blew me away!  I was thoroughly impressed with his experience, knowledge and customer service.  Throughout the nasty ordeal, he not only unclog our nasty kitchen sink backup, he also provided some invaluable education on how to unclog/maintain a kitchen drain .. as well as unclogging 2 other drains that have been stuck for weeks.  TJ was professional, friendly and exceedingly helpful.  Plus, he had a great sense of humor through it all.

Tim was extremely helpful in helping various plumbing needs around the house. He was able to unclog a drain, replace a valve for our washer, and spot the source of a leak (was coming from roof and not any plumbing). He was able to do all these repairs in a very timely manner for a reasonable price. He was courteous and wore a mask while doing the job. 5 star service without a doubt.

You will not go wrong with Anytime Plumbing. I am a tough critic but I could not have been more pleased with Anytime. Marscel was on time, very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He made replacing the kitchen faucet look easy, a day after I had bungled my attempt at the job and made things worse. Calling a plumber usually means there's something wrong - often bad wrong - but call Steve at Anytime and he will put you at ease and assure you the job will get done correctly. Heck, Marscel even cleaned up before departing, which is not always the case these days with service folks. I know who I will be calling in the future when we need a plumber. Thank you, Anytime.

Regarding plumbing, the service was excellent. Called on 4th of July because a part broke while I was trying to fix a shower leak. John walked me through a temp fix on the phone so I wouldn't have to pay for him to come out on a holiday-no charge. Next morning they sent Danielle out to fix my mistake. She was very pleasant and helpful. Can't thank them enough.

Very rude from 1st 5 minutes on phone with owner/plumber. Told him I tried to put in a new tub drain but couldn't get it flush.. his response, if you can't get it flush, why do you think I can? I SD, because your supposed to be a proffesional plumber, maybe I am doing something wrong.. I just stopped conversation there and SD I would call somewhere else. So tired of companies having no idea how to speak to public. No customer service.  They all seem to be as rude as they want to be. Will never call them back and will definitely forward this on to everybody I know!

I take care of most of my own home repair issues, but plumbing can sometimes require tools that most people don't have laying around.  Such was the case today.

After doing a load of laundry, the basement floor was drenched.  I diagnosed the problem as a clogged standpipe. I tried to snake it but my tool wasn't up to the task.

I called the plumber recommended by my neighbor and described the issue.  He said he didn't have a snake sturdy enough job, but recommended the plumber he uses when a job is over his head - Bore's.

The guy showed up pretty much on time, confirmed my diagnosis, returned to the truck to wheel in his snake, and went to work. Thirty minutes later he was done and headed out.  Even cleaned up after himself.

Nothing fancy, but got the job done professionally and quickly. Can't ask for more.

This company installed our boiler a year ago. They scraped up the floors and put a hole in the wall, though they did come out and fix those issues once we pointed them out.
The first time the city came out to inspect their work it didn't pass, so they came back out and it did pass the second time. However, the first winter we used it, it wasn't putting out heat and began shaking the house and making loud noises.
Morrison came out two days in a row to try and diagnose it. On the second day they gave us an estimate for additional work. We had a second boiler company come out, and they found that the boiler system was:
1.)not screwed in properly
2.) leaking
3.) not venting properly
This second company took care of all of these issues for half of the price that Morrison quoted us. We won't be using Morrison again due to their apparent incompetence with boilers and the fact that they don't even seem to honor their warranty.

We were having issues with water coming up out of our downstairs shower.  I called in the morning and Tim was dispatched to our house a short time later.  He was very courteous and knowledgeable.  He took the time to explain everything that he was doing along way.  He was able to resolve our issues and have us back up and running before lunchtime.

It's sad that great customer service is typically hard to find these days but Tim's professionalism reminds you what it's like to get friendly, quality service.  From looking a few other reviews it appears that Tim is not alone in providing a good experience during a stressful situation.  I recommend Roto-Rooter for any drainage issues you may have.

When I called for someone to give me a quote, I was told up front there would be a $49 charge for this.  I agreed because I didn't expect the price to be so high for simple job (replace a freeze-resistant outside faucet and install an interior shut-off valve).  I was told the tech (Kyle) would text me in advance of his arrival.  He arrived 30 minutes early with no text.  He spent (at the most) 8 minutes looking the job over.  He then quoted me $640 when other quotes were for much less.  Kyle told me a receipt for the $49 would be emailed to me. I had the work done by another firm for $250 (another quote I received was for $275).
I called Thome later that day and explained that I wanted my $49 refunded because their quote was way overboard.  I was told they would let me know of their decision within 24 hours.
5 days later I called Thome and was told they would not refund my money and that I was being a bully for telling them I would post this review and that they (she) had just emiled me a receipt for the $49 professional diagnostic.

They did not finish the job that they were paid to do was suppose to come back out kept giving day to come back out it was always a no call no show went Mike I on for a month finally paid someone else to do what they were paid to do I have filed a claim in small claim court they got to the point that they want answer phone or messages very un professional
