My family and I have been using Bob's Sewer Service for more than 20 years. Bob does excellent work. He returns phone calls promptly and is great about working you in as quickly as possible. His prices are very reasonable. He is a kind and honest man. You will be glad you found him.

We worked with Eric Vonzel, owner of Halvorsen Sewer Services, for a floor drain clean out, not the main line this time which he cleans out for us annually. Eric is FANTASTIC to work with--replies promptly to calls, gives an arrival window on the appointment day, then texts 15 minutes or so before arriving as needed. Wears a mask throughout, super nice person, remembers all the details about prior jobs! When we had a sewer back-up a few years ago and a really shady plumbing place (um, Ben Franklin) wanted us to do some bizarre $2000 treatment (after their first one failed because they did not clean out the line all the way to the street!), Eric came out and fixed everything for $150. He is the best, could not recommend more highly.

Woke up to our sewer line backing up at 7am.  By noon Cardinal had Alex out to clean out the roots and, after two hours of the auger doing its thing, had our lines completely cleared out.  To be safe we had him run the camera down the lines to make sure there weren't any breaks in the line and it all came back clean.

Lange's Plumbing & Heating have provided us with superior service for years. Jim and his crew have been quick to respond to our needs, efficient in their work and always priced fairly. It would be easy to take advantage when there is no heat in the middle of a cold Minnesota winter or suddenly you find your hot water heater has failed........they simply respond like professionals.

We are SO HAPPY we called H2C Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing for a second opinion on our malfunctioning older boiler!  We originally called the people with all the billboards in & around NE Mpls - they came away with Inform customer to replace boiler it's not worth putting over $3000 into it.   Well, I just had this niggling feeling that something was not right about this - ended up finding a recommendation on the Facebook page North House for H2C -- $290 later we are up & running with heat throughout the house! myH2C.com

Brian did some home warranty covered plumbing fixes related to water lines connected to my boiler.  Work was completed satisfactorily. No cost to me other than what I had to pay to the warranty company for a service call.

They've helped us out a couple times with leaking, corroded valves. The plumbers and scheduling staff are friendly, efficient, knowledgeable. Well done! Much appreciated!

Our contractor used Metro Heating and Cooling to relocate an AC unit that was placed in our 1920s bungalow attic.  We were extremely disappointed in the service.

Warning, I'm going to rant a little.  If you read nothing else, read this: if you have Metro perform any service to your HVAC system, make sure it works before letting them leave and paying the bill.  

The central air in our home had always worked perfectly, but it needed to be moved due to renovations we were doing on our attic.  We had installers from Metro come out to move it.  Apparently, we needed to be more specific and tell them it still needed to WORK after moving it.  The job was around $3000.  It did not pass the first city inspection due to them using the wrong tubing in the duct work.  They came back out to fix the tubing.  Once that was updated to meet code, no one thought to turn it on to make sure it worked?  Sure enough, 90 degree heat came to MN later that week and we discovered it was not working.

Long story short, it took four ADDITIONAL service calls to get the AC working.  Apparently, this company thinks it's perfectly OK to leave without having everything fully fixed.

The most unprofessional response came last Wednesday, after we had arrived home from a long weekend at the lake.  The AC had been working on Sunday morning when we left, after 3 of the 4 additional service calls.  When we came home to a broken AC unit (again, on a 90+ degree day), I called Metro.  Paul, who answered the 24 hour maintenance line (side bar: I called him one morning around 8:00 am and got a call back at 9:30 am, he'd been sleeping he informed me), asked me if I had changed the filter, and informed me that any additional work would probably not be covered by the original work warranty.  Well, Paul, you've had 6 HVAC people out here in the last week, did one of them check the filter?

It was time for us to order a new dryer...the one that came with our house was over 30 years old and could be heard all over the house. Since we had to buy a gas dryer, the hook up was going to be more extensive. We were put off by the price Home Depot was quoting...over $300 with parts being extra, etc. We figured we could find this service for cheaper and liked the idea of supporting a local company, so my husband decided to do some plumber research and found Norblom.

They were very helpful over the phone and they were here on a Monday morning after calling for the service on a Saturday. The plumber who came was quick and helpful and explained everything thoroughly. To top it off? It was just a little over $200! We will definitely use them again for our plumbing needs (though hopefully not anytime soon...)

I don't like to give out bad reviews but I'm just gonna have to. I had two leaky toilet valves that needed replacement, along with exchanging out the rigid copper piping with the more modern, flexible stuff. Submitted an appointment request online around 7am yesterday due to not being open yet. 11am rolled around and I hadn't heard from them so I called. A lady answered the phone, took my name and number. She said she would speak with Terry and call me back. And that was fine. 5pm rolls around and still no returned phone call. So I called another metro area plumber (TJK, 4 stars on Yelp!). Got a returned phone call 5 mins later, appt at 8am this morning and work was completed within 30 mins. Now me and my toilets are happy!

My parents who are in their 70's had contacted them because their air wasn't working. They came out and looked at it and then left my parents tried contacting them and no answer! So we had called a different company to come out and when they did they found out that they ripped the entire control panel off ( which they could get a lot of money for) and now my parents have to come up with thousands of dollars to replace what they had stolen!! I can promise you this will catch up to them and when it does there will be no more all climate control company!! BE CAREFUL AND DON'T LET ANY EMPLOYEE TOUCH ANYTHING OF YOURS! The BBB WILL NOT BACK THEM UP SO THAT TELLS YOU SOMETHING RIGHT THERE!!!!!

Pedro was the technician who stopped at my house and I don't know if he is the owner of the company or just works for them but he is the only in-home technician that I have ever had a truly horrible experience with.  I showed him the problem in my basement and after some examination, he tried to show me in my pipes where the problem may be coming from.  All of that was just fine but, honestly, I couldn't get too close to the guy because he was soaked in cologne and the smell of him was giving me a vicious headache.  He didn't seem to appreciate me not wanting to get close to him and started to speak to me in an agitated manner. He asked me questions about the work done prior, which I hadn't been home for.  I called my husband and asked him questions about the work done previously to the pipes and Pedro kept talking over me as I was talking on the phone or trying to listen to my husband speak.  I put my husband on hold and asked Pedro not to interrupt me, I couldn't talk on the phone that way.  He said If you don't want my help, fine.  Pay me and I'll leave.  I wrote him a check and he stormed out.  About 5 minutes after he drove off he came back and parked in front of my house.  He got out of his van and stormed halfway up the driveway like he had something else on his mind, and by God, I was going to hear it.  Then he turned away and left, like he had changed his mind.
I have dealt with technicians in my home a lot and this was the first time that I felt uncomfortable and a bit unsafe.  Seriously.  Do NOT do business with this company.

My heat pump was not working.  They came but did not fix the problem.  Yet, I still had to pay for the useless service.  

Avoid them at all costs.
