I can't say enough good words for Frank. I have a complicated toilet problem as a result of poor installation done by a very incompetent and dishonest plumber. I suffered through two expensive plumbing companies trying to fix it and nothing was fixed. Then I found Frank through Google review. He showed great competence and abundant experience, he avoided any unnecessary procedure proposed by prior plumbers, which are very expensive. He got it done in two hours. And the amount he charged is minimum for this project. I found a very minor issue second day, he arrived in twenty minutes, straight it out and didn't charge me anything for the second visit. Now my problem is fixed done and done. Frank is the best!

had them put in a new boiler and oil tank they did such a great job. I could not believe how quiet and efficient they were  they left the place cleaner than when they came. All workmanship was top notch and very professional .If you need service or a new boiler these are the people to call. Thanks to all the crew and the girl who called from their office you are the best

I own an old multi-family home in Dorchester and Larry Darcy has been my plumber for many years.  As I said, my house is old, and the pipes are called galvanized.  I'm not sure what that means, but I don't think it is good. Its just old.  Anyhow, Larry and or his son, Larry Jr have been to my home often - so much so I've given them keys.  

They installed 2 new boilers which have saved me a ton of money, they've cleaned out my shower and sink drains.  Larry and his son are both excellent plumbers.  They are reasonably prices and show up when they say they will.  They are also very pleasant and trustworthy.  I highly recommend them,

Had a 2 foot sewage back up in my downstairs bathroom tub.
Called John's at 1:45. We were advised it would be a few hours.
At 4:00 Angel called and advised us he was 5 minutes away.
We told him our problem, he assessed the situation. And came up with two solutions. The first one didn't work so he went to plan B. Using the trap outside the house the snaked a line a couple of times and the clog was cleared.   Angel was very professional and took pride in doing his job.
He gave us clue on possible was to prevent clogs.  One was no dental floss in the toilet or flushable baby wipes.
90 day warranty for work is fair.  
I would use John,s Sewer again.

The guys just left after installing new bathroom sink and vanity...arrived on time, explained to me what was going to be done, installed, cleaned up and again updated me before leaving.  Price was exactly as quoted over the phone.  What more can you ask for??  Very happy with service

Our tenants called us over the weekend reporting a leaking water heater.  Contractor Home Depot put us in contact with wouldn't install for many days so we reached out to AMC Mechanical and they were able replace the water heater the very next morning! Andrew and his team was responsive and timely, great communication and really did a great job. Would absolutely use them in the future. Highly recommend.

I had a nightmare situation with a toilet overflowing and flooding the place with sewage, on a friday evening. Chris and his team showed up quickly that evening and came back the next day to continue working on the problem till it was resolved. I highly recommend their services.

Matt and Beantown Drains are great! I had an issue with a basement toilet and the upflush unit. Problem was solved a lot faster and easier than I expected and now everything works great!

Just a note, I can't change the city that Yelp thinks I am from, yes I am talking about Beantown Drains in the Boston area.

We had an ongoing leak from our second floor bathroom through the ceiling on the first floor.  I appreciated that Welter communicated about what he would do to diagnose the problem, to appropriately set the expectations of the work.  During the process, at each turn he would take the time to explain what he had done, what he had found and what he recommended for a resolution.  I was very happy with the work he did and for the recommendations he provided.  While I certainly do not want any plumbing problems in the future, I would look to hire Welter, again, to get them resolved.

We have had the pleasure of using Charlie Murphy's plumbing services for the last 11 years. He is not only an awesome plumber but a great guy.  He is amazingly reliable, trustworthy and professional and his rates are reasonable. He has always been available whenever we have needed him. He is quick to figure out the plumbing problem and will immediately find a solution. Charlie is a people person who loves what he does and as a result, even though we are clearly calling him because of a problem, we are happy to see him.  He cares about his work and his clients. I highly recommend him.

Two guys (Ryan & TIm) showed up - friendly, helpful and speedy. They got the job done and cleaned up after themselves.

Pricing is reasonable, service is excellent. Hopefully I won't be needing them too often, but if I ever do, I would not hesitate to contact them.

Have used them a couple of times for my heat and have been impressed by the level of service and hard work ethic. Very personable office staff and technicians - never made me feel stupid or uncomfortable, very approachable and easy to talk to. We were having problems with getting my heat back on and couldn't figure it out - came late at night and did not give up until they solved the problem. Very impressed and highly recommend!

This is a most outstanding company- the integrity is unsurpassable, and the people are honest, personable, and beyond helpful.  They did a most outstanding job in my 1000 year old brookline bathroom, and they stick by all of their work.  There is nobody better than this company for your plumbing needs....I am really grateful to have had their service.

Mike Richard has done outstanding work at our home over the past 8 years. He works so efficiently he actually jogs to his truck and back to get any needed supplies. Mike is always timely and communicates about any issues that he finds, offering various solutions. Most recently, he put me in touch with other contractors that have also done superb work.

HORRENDOUS service.  I called to ask a simple question and was treated like an idiot, like dirt.  This is absolutely a horrendous company to deal with.  Do not contact them.

Cranney came to my home. My quote came to $300 to snake a bathroom drain!!!!! $450 to install a second pump, which involved cutting a PVC pipe and installing my own second pump, not a new one supplied by them. And then $150 to remoce and cap two pipes. I refused the work and had to pay 49.95 for the visit which was refunded after calling the office and threatened to call the Better Business Bureau. Stay away from this ripoff company.

It is so comical that cranney would even try to justify 300 dollars to run a snake down the drain.....you can see all the negative reviews here....this company is a scam
