I work as property manager for a company and those days I was in San Jose, Oscar is a detailed, experienced and reliable technician. On the day of the quotation, I showed him several areas where we had no power. He immediately inspected the fusebox). He explained how a fuse might look operational but actually be faulty. It took him some time to remove the cover and test all the fuses. Eventually, he identified and corrected the problem. Suddenly, we had power in those rooms! And we hadn't even agreed to hire him yet! I had some creative lighting / electrical projects and Oscar completed them with much intelligence and patience. He and his assistant Miguel were polite, clean, and efficient.

Arrived on time, did installation of bathroom exhaust fan in a seemingly competent manner, listened to and answered all my questions,  cleaned up afterwards and charged a fair price.  Would definitely use again.

We've hired Wong's Electric for a number of projects around the house, including: Installing 220 for Central Air, adding outdoor outlets, putting in motion lights, outlets, fixtures and updating wiring for a slide-ins stove. Since we live in an old house and have added an addition, Wong's Electric has helped us with updates to the old, including fishing line through finished walls, and the new, including all the wiring for our addition. All the work they've done is seamless and very reasonably priced. I honestly can't imagine how anyone--at any price--could do a better job than they have.

Mike was prompt, professional, and went extra yards to accommodate us, including hopping in the car to accompany me to the store to purchase a new fixture. A pleasure to work with and a top notch electrician!

Valery and his crew are  the best you can have.  We did a very large remodel and addition to our home and Valery was always organized, detailed and so easy to work with.  All of his guys who work with him were top notch as well.  He had excellent opinions and suggestions.  Valery was more than fair with us always.  I would only use Valery and his team to do any electrical work.  Thank you Valery for making such a big project easy, simple and fun!  I am glad to know Valery and his team!

Kirill was very fast in his response at every stage of the process.  He obviously knows his stuff and is very informative.  Erin listened to my preference for where the nozzle was fixed to the house so as not to protrude into view, and he found a way to do that.  They did a great job and I will recommend them to anyone looking to have an EV charger installed.

Very responsive, kind, and helpful! Our trees blew down in the windstorm and we had to call 6 different electricians to see who would help us. Since the power lines connected our in-law cottage to our main house and fell on private property, Alameda Municipal Power were unable to help.

Quaweay Electric responded immediately and set up an appointment with me for the next morning. Relief!!

Then I got a surprise visit first thing the same morning, from our regular electrician who was able to come in and save the day unexpectedly.

I contacted Quaweay to let them know, and it turns out they were already on their way, but were able to call the technicians back in time.

It's very rare in this day and age (since everyone is crazy busy and there's too much work to go around) to find such a responsible, responsive and proactive electrician.

I used Jeff to upgrade my panel to 200 amps. I got 3 quotes and he was the only one who showed up to give me a quote (1 asked for photos and the other used zoom). Jeff gave me multiple quotes & broke down the costs of each. We were debating whether or not to upgrade to 150 or 200. We ultimately chose to do the 200 & I am more than happy we did! He walked me through opening up an owner builder permit (saving me on costs) & he met up with my inspector the day of inspection (he did not have to since I am the one who opened the permit). We passed without issues. He told me it would take about 2 days to complete the upgrade and let me know when we would be without power every step of the way. The job was completed faster than expected. He cleaned up after himself as if he was never there. He responded to my dozens of texts in a timely manner & worked around the storms we were dealing with. I highly recommend using Jeff for any of your electrical needs. I've already recommended him to several family and friends and will continue to do so.

I spent weeks, months trying to find a shop that could handle 1) AC panel upgrade, 2) 5-6 different 120V and 240V wiring (for us to convert from gas to electric for water heater, furnace, range, dryer), 3) manage the water heater install, 4) pull all electrical, plumbing, and building permits, 5) complete the scope on time and on budget to meet permit, tax credit, and state incentive requirements.

Eric and his team were professional and responsive; on budget and thorough; checked in often on feedback and design decisions; knew every inch of existing code and upcoming code changes; and are incredibly knowledgeable about all of these different appliances and buildings, the best cost/value/environmental benefit of each.

No other shop could have put eyes on everything we were trying to do on this whole home electrification project in a complex SF permitting environment and done such a great job in managing the project and me as a client.

Mikhail dropped by and was super informative. He walked me through the current state of the house and different options.

Our technician Matt is very knowledgeable and advised us well with our installation of a tesla wall charger. Very nice guy who kept us informed of his arrival and how long it would take to complete the installation. He patiently answered all our questions. Later that night we found that after installation after Gas supply was not working so heat was off. The first thought I had in mind was to contact Matt since our Gas valve and electric meter & panel are in same area. He even guided me through what may have happened (earthquake shut off) and sent me a video to restore it. What a nice guy!

We had a couple of circuits that would lose power but the circuit breakers had not popped. We called David and he managed to get by the same day to look at the situation. He could not find any problem with the circuit breakers or the panel, so he checked the PGE panel with the meter. He found that the panel was badly corroded due to the fog we have here constantly. He gave me an estimate for replacing the panel, which seemed reasonable. He scheduled the permit, inspector, and PG&E to be involved in the replacement. On the day scheduled, he showed up on time, completed his part in time for the inspector and PG&E to approve and reconnect the service ahead of his originally estimated time. He also built a wooden box around the panel to protect it from the fog to delay corrosion in the future. He cleaned up thoroughly after the work was done. David is very easy to work with and knowledgeable of what needs to be done.

These guys were great!  Very reliable, courteous and dependable.  Let me know if they were running late, due to a few complications with my fan they had to come back several times to fix, but were so nice about it.  Hard to find good people these days....highly recommend!!

Had a very good experience with Ron.  He helped out with a variety of odd jobs throughout my home, some in the category of never had a chance to get around to them, some in the category of gonna need some help for that.

I would add that Ron was very cautious about the white walls inside the house.  He washed his hands before installing the light fixtures and was very careful about not scratching the walls with the ladder.

Bottom line, you're not just paying for labor, you're paying for someone who has years of experience and wisdom on how to fix things.

It was well worth it.

Oswaldo of OG Electric is the guy you need to call for your Tesla Charger Install. His quality of work is top notch and his pricing was the most competitive. He was on time, fast and got it installed properly. Book Em early before your car arrives, he is busy for a good reason.

The electrician arrived 1.5 hours late for our appointment. Although we had requested that he wear booties in the house, he didn't bring them. He said he would go out to buy booties and then return shortly to do the work. He never returned. When I called into the office to find out where he was (after I waited a total of 3 hours from our original appointment time), the scheduler told me that he had just texted her to say he was sick. Given this extremely unprofessional behavior, we decided to go with another company for the work. The new company was less expensive, prompt, and extremely professional. I recommend that you avoid using Sierra Electric

So pleased with the work Hector and his team of Mario and Jake did on our building in SF. From the get-go, they were professional and responsive. Unlike other companies, they were clear on what was critical vs. a nice-to-have to keep within a budget. We had contacted three other reputable electricians and REF's prices were extremely reasonable.

Our project was multi-faceted and every step was completed efficiently, within budget, and in a timely manner. Hector would contact me immediately with any concerns and we would agree on next steps. I am not easily impressed but this company definitely impressed me.

BTW, they are very familiar with SF, its building codes, and buildings from Victorians to current day construction.

I looked around at several companies as I had a significant issue of complying with the new fire regs in a multistory building in SF in a timely fashion.  I couldn't have been more pleased.  Tim is wonderful to work with.
