ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER


Clay Hamilton, President of White's Electrical, is passionate about growing and developing the team, while continuing to provide the highest quality of work to customers. A graduate of the Independent Electrical Contractors apprenticeship program, Clay worked his way up through the ranks as a Journeyman Electrician and General Contractor and takes pride in knowing all aspects of the electrical trade. Clay brings over 12 of relevant experience in both electrical contracting and client relations. He joined White's Electrical as Vice President of Operations in 2014 and acquired ownership 2018. He resides in Greenwood, Indiana with his wife, Terra, and their two children. He enjoys the outdoors, especially game bird and waterfowl hunting, and spends his free weekends on the lake with his family. He is a member of Stones Crossing Church and is a proud supporter of the Little Wish Foundation and the Center for Global Impact.

We had 3 ceiling fans installed. Fantastic service; On time, kind, great pricing, honest, and cleaned up everything after job was done.  Will hire again 100%

Had a horrible experience. They were supposed to start work but never scheduled with AES to shut off power. They did not start the work and we were out $200 because we had a hotel reservation that we had to pay and had to start the process all over with another electrician company. We had them all of our paper work right away. They were trying to force me to make the appointment with the electric company when it was their job to do so. Go to Mr. Sparky instead. They will take care of everything for you. You should not have to coordinate between the electric company and the electrician. That should be their job. If they say it's not they are lying. What a Joke. They never even offered to make anything right just gave me the excuse that "people make mistakes"... Umm you are doing electrical work at my house if you are making mistakes I'm not interested.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Needed a garbage disposal wiring fixed. Technician came out, pulled a bunch of things out of the garbage disposal, couldn't figure it out. Told us to buy a new one (it was brand new).
Told his supervisor he didn't touch it. Now it doesn't work, and I was called a liar for claiming the technician touched it. Will not call these people again. Overpriced and HORRIBLE customer service.
Oh, and the manager continually told me I was a liar a
nd that I just got in over my head and need someone to blame. Would NEVER use this business for anything. The technician also told me to call a plumber to help with the wires on the garbage disposal. Don't electricians deal with wires?
I wouldn't let Josh (I think his name was) near any wires in your home/office. He will mess them up and his manager will call you a liar for asking for help. Absolutely horrible.
The only positive thing about this was was the nice ladies they have answering the phone. If those two worked with the technicians, they may actually get something right.

Really rude and unprofessional and the work they did wasn't up to par.

We used White's when we bought our house. Part of our closing agreement with the seller was to have some of the electrical outlets updated. They provided around $1300 through White's for repairs to be made. This was enough to cover about one room. We told White's which room we'd like to be redone. When we came home, a different room had been rewired.  When we call to ask them about it, they said that the room we had chosen had already been updated, so they just moved on to the next room.

I'm not sure why they couldn't have just called us to ask us which room we would've wanted done in its place-we wouldn't have chosen the room they did.
Additionally,  The room they did is a dark wood paneling, and all the outlets they are placed are bright white. Couldn't they have just called? Still, we didn't make a big issue of it.

The final straw is that we still had a couple hundred dollars left from our money from the seller which we were told would be credited to our account. That's only enough to cover one or two outlets, but we decided to just apply to whatever room we did next. Every little bit helps! However, despite us having paperwork showing our original credit and what we've spent, White's now won't acknowledge the credit, and won't even return our phone calls!

Edited to add: The second company we worked with told us the work NEVER should have cost that much. The wiring has already been done; it's just the outlets themselves that need replacing. So, White's overcharged us by probably a thousand dollars.

Definitely avoid at all costs!

Representative came to check out the problem and said they would give me an estimate.  Called after three days because I was ready to make a decision.  They again said they would get me an estimate.  Long story short the job is done and I never did receive the estimate.  Things would have gotten done quicker if I would not have spent the time waiting.  If they were not interested in doing the job would have preferred they tell me .

The worst service ever received from an electrical company.  They charged $125 for literally doing nothing. Would never use them again.

I am a general contractor and I rely on White's Electrical to service my customers. I know them to provide excellent quality and service at a fair price. There is literally no type of electrical job they can't tackle.

White's Electrical does fantastic work! When it comes to electrical work they can do anything from your largest commercial job, to your residential lighting job. If you are looking for efficient & professional work, White's should be your go to.

Wiring seems to be working and ok, but individuals were very unprofessional, inconsiderate, left multiple messes, couldn't give me a break down of the bill in which I believed to be be overcharged (and upon asking for this break down threatened to charge me more), used my tools without asking, left for the day and left doors wide open, originally estimated to take about two weeks and took over a month, and many other major and minor issues!!!

It took two times contacting the company before we were able to set up an appointment for an estimate.  The morning of the appointment no one showed up.  My husband called the office and was told that no one was going to be able to come at the scheduled time.  Since my husband arranged to go into work late in order to be here when they came, he was understandably upset.  He tried to reschedule for later that day or the next but they didn't have anything available.  We had them do work for us several years ago and were happy with our experience at that time; that's why we called them for this project, but we'll be using someone else from here on out.  Very unprofessional not to show up or call to reschedule.

We've had an absolute awful experience with White's. We had them come out to do a good amount electrical work after closing on our house. They were completely unprofessional. It was a colder day, and it was obvious they wanted to try and half-a** the job and be done. They accidentally cut one of our cable cords, and said "it shouldn't be a big deal". No offer to fix or replace. They located a basement window covering under our porch and asked if we wanted to keep it to relocate it to another basement window... When we asked at the end where the window covering was, they said "Oh, we destroyed that". When taking apart our deck to access an electrical box, they cut a deck panel incorrectly and said "that shouldn't be expensive for you guys to fix", and then completely botched putting the deck back together. We had to call to have them come back out because they only did half the job. Terrible experience.
