I have two sinks in my master bath, with each having a hot water handle and cold water handle. One sink developed a drip from the center faucet, and the other developed a leak at the base of the cold water handle. I attempted to fix them myself and was not successful. I called Ray Duncan Plumbing based completely on their recent television ads, which commit to complete satisfaction.
A plumber came to my house, about 45 minutes past the two-hour window I was given. I had some parts, but apparently not all he needed. He came with no parts, although I told the scheduler I did not know if I had all of the parts - he came totally unprepared to repair my sinks. I had to make a trip to Home Depot to buy a part, only to get home and be told it wasn't needed.
After completing repairs, my bill came to $362.64. The next day a new leak had developed at the base of cold water handle that had not leaked before. And, a leak developed at the base of the hot water handle of the other sink - that had never leaked before.
When I called Ray Duncan Plumbing about one of the new leaks and to schedule another appointment, I told them I did not want to have to pay another penny and wanted the repairs made. A note was made of this demand, but when I got a second call I was told I could not be guaranteed there would be no additional charges.
$362.64 should be more than enough to pay for minor repairs on two sinks. I cancelled the return service call. I will never use Ray Duncan Plumbing again. I will either fix them with a friend's help or call a better plumber.
