Had a last minute issue on New Year's Eve and Chuck had Victor there that afternoon and he got issue partially corrected (was very helpful). He had Victor there again a couple days later to do our repairs. Price was probably about right and he did a good job with the repairs and clean up. Overall a good experience in a last minute situation when I did not have the opportunity to get comp's - so appreciate Chuck and Victor and their work. Would recommend.

Had an unfortunate event and water started coming out my kitchen sink. My first thought here we go, get ready for a huge bill my neighbor recommended pro plumbing works and I'm glad she did. Chuck burns(the owner) was very professional and took care of our problem fast. We checked prices after just to make sure we did good and he definitely took care of us. Will be using him again.

not happy with these guys and will not call again.  We had to replace just about everything in our condo..I feel like I have been taken full advantage of.  Snaked all our drains for an astronomical price..told us we need to replace parts in shower valve..come to find out they were under a life time warranty but they never told us that!  They replaced parts in 2 showers for about $500 which should have been free parts.  They are plumbers, they should know what is under warranty but never even asked.  My tenants are still complaining and Chuck said that would fix the problem.  And the 10% off...they said we were not eligible..what a surprise!

5 star   as good as it gets

Had an emergency involving three units in apartment building.   Pro-Plumbing called back immediately, came within an hour, fixed the problem, gave us another minor fix for free, didn't charge us and arm and a leg for the work, and they were nice and pleasant.  Does it get any better than that???

Highly recommend! We called on Thursday to have a hot water recirculation pump installed and they were here Monday morning. The tech Chuck could not have been more professional and explained each step of the process. The price was fair and without asking Chuck applied a Yelp discount of 10%. They are now our plumber of choice and we will recommend them to our condo association.

My kitchen sink was leaking and needed repair.  I called Chuck and explained my issue and also texted him some pictures.  Chuck made this process very easy & affordable, my sink is now leak free.  Pro Plumbing Works is reliable, trustworthy, customer centric, and highly recommended.

I called Pro-Plumbing a few months ago and was able to talk to Chuck.  He listened to my needs and had someone come out and quoted installing our water softener and R/O System.  Work was completed in a timely manner and we were very pleased.
Fast forward a couple of  months later.  We needed  the water softener moved because one of the irrigation boxes was buried underneath it.  Landscaper had buried the boxes.  Irrigation was newly installed right before landscaping and I had no idea about the boxes, etc.  The irrigation company blamed landscaper.  Landscaper blamed plumber.  At the end of the day,  the landscaper would take no responsibility and Chuck at Pro-Plumbing Works sent a technician out free of charge to move the water softener over a bit so that it is off irrigation box.  I cannot begin to express my gratitude.  Chuck cares about his business and sincerely wants to his customers satisfied, sometimes even if it means taking care of another person's mistake!  I appreciate him stepping up and helping when the others wouldn't.  A shout out to Noah who came out and moved the water softener.  He was very professional...and kind!  Thanks so much!

Quality work done efficiently. I had a leaky overflow that was replaced along with my drain. The technician assessed the rest of the tub and shower head and did some sealing around the downspout.

We called during a holiday week end (over July 4th) and they sent Victor out in a few hours. He was a magician. He fixed both of our plumbing problems and educated us on the issues. Thank you Victor!

I found Pro-Plumbing Works, LLC here on Yelp and called Chuck based on the great reviews here. I purchased my condo recently and in this plumbing moment forgot my membership to Angie's List.  

Victor showed up an hour and a half after the time I was told, but he had called to tell me he was running late. When he arrived he asked me where my cleanout was and I told him I honestly didn't know since I had just moved here. After a quick assessment outside he told me he was going to have to pull at least one of my toilets because he couldn't find the cleanout. I was not given an estimate until I asked, and when I asked I was told $150-$250.
Victor does not care to do menial jobs like mine and he freely told me that he was too valuable to be on jobs like mine so they were looking to hire someone for that purpose.
Victor is a nice, friendly guy, what he isn't is clean. My walls, floors, showers were contaminated with the contents of the waste pipe since Victor wore absorbent gloves to handle the snake and also talks with his hands. I was told to watch the water level in the hole where the toilet had been while he ran water in the other bathroom. He did not wash his hands once while in my home yet touched so many surfaces and nearly my linens (I grabbed them as he was reaching) . I had to scrape wax from the old wax ring off my shower wall from where he leaned to run the shower faucet. I spent hours cleaning my home!
I don't wear shoes in my home and would have greatly appreciated him covering his shoes with disposable shoe covers.
Both of my toilets were removed and snaked and the only equipment used were 2 new wax rings and hardware - a value of about $10 yet I was charged $50 for materials!! The total of my bill was $396 and Victor told me I couldn't use my Angie's List membership discount because I hadn't mentioned it when I called. He did tell me how much I would have saved had I mentioned it ($50). I asked if there was any warranty on the work and he said no because I didn't have a camera lowered into the drain. This option was not offered to me and would have helped locate the cleanout for future needs.
I feel taken advantage of and mostly feel that my home and it's cleanliness was disrespected. This is not a company I can recommend..

Zane is one of the best plumbers I have ever had do work in my home. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. Took care of all our issues without costing us an arm and leg. He is very much appreciated.

Had Chuck come to my house different times for various plumbing issues and every time he fixed the problem well and efficiently. He's professional and pleasant. I would highly recommend him. He gave me clear answers to all my questions. You can trust this guy, he really knows what he is doing.

Excellent plumbers! Knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and timely. Very good product, installed professionally and neatly, for a very good price. Beat two major competitors, who do a lot of radio advertising, on price. We needed a new water softener and filter for the whole house. They really came through!  I'd had other companies come out to discuss and then never hear from them again. A couple of others with much higher estimates. Basically I did a lot of legwork shopping around and couldn't be happier.  Will certainly use them again for any other project.

Chuck Burns is an exceptional plumber and trustworthy businessman.  He is professional, polite, punctual, flexible, and honest.  We can't say enough good things about the project he did for us; and he was more than patient and accommodating when our portion of the project took a bit longer than we anticipated.  Everything was completed in a timely fashion, even when we requested a few oh by the way... project components.  Pricing is reasonable and he guarantees his work, which is very high-quality.  We are raving fans!

We noticed on a Sunday night that the drain pan under our water heater was full of water.  We bailed the water out and dried the pan and noticed that the water continued to leak slowly from the bottom of the unit.  We called our regular plumber first thing Monday morning but he was unavailable until Wednesday.  We called Pro-Plumbing and they were able to schedule someone to come out and check it out on Tuesday (the next day).  Victor came out and checked out the unit and confirmed that the tank had a small leak.  We had already assumed that was the case since the unit was over 13 years old and knew we would probably need to have the unit replaced.  We figured we'd have to wait a few days for a new unit to be ordered, etc.  To our surprise, Victor had put a unit in his truck since we were in Longboat Key and it would take a considerable amount of time to drive back to Sarasota and pick up a new unit.  He was able to replace the unit immediately.  He did a great job and we were both amazed that he was able to remove the old unit and replace the new one all by himself with anyone helping him.  Pro-Plumbing gave us a 10-year warranty on parts and 5-year warranty on labor.  We couldn't have asked for more.  Thank you, Pro-Plumbing for being able to help us in a timely fashion.  I would definitely use them again for any plumbing needs.

Victor from Pro-Plumbing Works LLC did an exceptional job at our house today. We had a problem with the pressure relief valve on our hot water heater.  It was malfunctioning and water from the hot water heater was spilling onto our garage floor.  Victor replaced the valve and installed a pipe that would carry any new water that is discharged if the new valve happens to leak to the outside.  In doing this he had to drill a hole in the wall of our garage.  He also checked our master bathroom faucet and a second bathroom for leaks.  Victor is very knowledgeable, courteous, works fast, and provides excellent service and advice. Also, the cost of the plumbing service is very reasonable. I would highly recommend Pro-Plumbing Works to anyone in need of expert plumbing services at a fair and reasonable cost.  .

I am very impressed by Chuck and his team.  He arranged a video inspection of my sewer lines that helped delineate a difficult problem. His quote to repair was better than anyone in town.  I have finally found a plumber who explains things well and cares!

The best plumber I have ever met!   Chuck Burns is extremely competent and professional.   It is also rare for any service professional to call and keep clients updated on when the plumber is arriving.   His rates are competitive.   But most important, Chuck is the most honest professional I have ever experienced.  I would highly recommend Pro Plumbing Works for any of your plumbing needs.   You will be completely satisfied.   And aside from his professionalism, he is a fine gentleman.

Yesterday I had a garbage deposal leak.

The came the sameday and were very professional.
My neighbor had a problem so I asked if they could look at there's  also.
The said sure.
When the plumber was working on mine he noticed our sink needed caulking  and did it on his own.
This company should be rated  a 6.....

We had a small emergency  and decided to call these guys. They had a plumber out here within an hour of calling. I wish I could remember his name, but he was very quick to find the problem and suggest solutions. Overall a very positive experience and thankfully our problem was nothing major.

I selected Pro-Plumbing Works to upgrade my back-flow system to meet the new county specifications, based on nearly 8 quotes from other plumbers.  Their quote was nearly the lowest, offered quick turnaround time and used the best recommended back flow valve for the job.  The plumber, Radames, was late because of an emergency, BUT I was notified several times that he would be late for our appointment.  Once here the work was done in the highest professional manner, and installed the back flow valve to specifications.  Importantly, there was no corner cutting as with other installations in our neighborhood.  Specifically, he dug down directly to the water line and constructed the assembly with new copper all the way from the house water line to the valve and back to the water line.  Other installations cut the old copper pipe at ground level and inserted the new valve leaving pipes that were installed 17 years ago still in the ground with 2 additional connections (future failure points.). This one thing indicated to me that a.) knowledge of plumbing, b.) desire to do the best job possible c.) Going the extra mile to insure a quality job and d.) they held to the quoted price even if it should have been more based on the job performed.  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Had a problem with my floor drain today. Called pro plumbing works and they sent someone to fix right away.  Very reasonable price and great job! After job was done Chuck followed up to make sure everything was ok and gave me some tips to avoid future problems.

My toilet stopped working and these guys came out within 3 hours to fix it.  This was the day before Thanksgiving, and I am very grateful for that.  Also, the plumber was right on time and the problem was diagnosed and fixed within 20 minutes.  I did have a concern with what I was charged, but this was resolved very quickly after speaking with the company's owner, who got in touch with me personally. Chuck was open to my concerns and worked with me to fix the issue.

Excellent service at a fair price, with no BS. They came out same day to replace a broken water heater while we're getting a house ready for sale, I live out of state -- just trusted Yelp's reviews and it worked out great. Chuck explained exactly what we needed, was there when promised, and the price was exactly what he said. Left the place clean and neat, couldn't be happier to have hot water again. Would recommend, would use again for sure.

Chuck was very easy to work with. We had a couple of speed bumps and Chuck was very reasonable and accommodating. Tim was very professional and communicated issues while trying solutions. We love these guys! We've used pro plumbing works for our whole house water purification system which makes a world of difference. We've also use them for other plumbing jobs. I had a toilet that needed a new seal because it was leaking. Victor came out and took care of the problem. He did a thorough job making sure that the area was covered and kept clean. When he left it was as though he hadn't been here. I am very satisfied with the job done. The quote  I was given was what I paid.  I will use them again should the need arise and I highly recommend them.

No hot water. Called Pro Plumbing based on the on line reviews and was not disappointed!  They came promptly and got it working. Very professional!! Will definitely call them when I replace the tank in the next few months.

The work done was excellent.  However, the price was incredibly high for the work done.  My husband, who is never upset with anyone, had many conversations with PPW about the work vs. the cost and the final results of these conversations didn't get us anywhere.  We've learned our lesson.  There are many other capable plumbers out there who do great work without exorbitant costs.

My favorite plumber in Sarasota, by far!  Residents and small business owners since 1981, we have tried way too many before finding Chuck and his team.  Highly recommended by a respected local Remax Realtor  who shared that she's always used PPW to get it done right & avoid any issues.  We agree.  Last month we needed a total Re-Pipe where they were able to save our vintage bathroom as well as update & re-route all of our old cast iron plumbing & seriously, you cannot even tell they were here.  Beautiful-professional- CLEAN work & saved money due to suggested bundle AND discount.  ALSO, the job we had done to gauge quality & obtain opinion was to install an outdoor shower.  The guys came with standard piping outfit but were able to build rustic hardware CUSTOM BRASS PIPING upon request, that very same day, immediately on it with courtesy and professionalism.

I was visiting my elderly parents when they had an issue with their toilet. After reading impressive reviews on this site about both Chuck and Victor, I called Pro-Plumbing Works.  Chuck sent Victor to the house that same day and he gave us his opinion and estimate for resolving the issue. I was able to text and also call Chuck personally with some questions we had. He knew I was leaving town and he texted me to assure me they would take care of my parents. I trusted him to be true to his word and this morning the work was completed to the satisfaction of everyone! My parents said Victor did his work quickly and cleaned up everything nicely. Thank you Chuck and Victor. We will call you again if we need your services in the future.

Chuck came out to Longboat Key to give us an estimate on a new hot water heater.  He wound up checking out our existing water heater and after a few quick adjustments got it going! He even fixed our leaky toilet flap on the way out the door! He is prompt and courteous.  When the heater goes for good we will definitely call Pro-plumbing Works!
