We had a serious plumbing issue  that suddenly didn't allow us to use our shower, washer, sinks, or flush our toilet. We called Michaels and someone came out 30 minutes after the call and had it fixed in even less time. He was great, professional, and quick. We will definitely keep these guys in mind the next time we have an issue with our home!

Did a repair that didn't even last 2 months.
Charged 300.00 for 4.00 part and 30 mins of work.

Avoid using them.

I have used Michael's Plumbing twice during the last year and I am very satisfied with price, punctuality, and quality of service. John does a great job.

My parents called them to fix my sister's condo garbage disposal. The first guy came in and said, we only need a plastic snake to fix the issue. But he did not bring the plastic snake drain. So we called another person. But then this guy came in and said we need to pay $315. Since installing a new disposal costs about $200, we refused the service. Then this guy tried to charge us $35. However, it was the first guy's fault that he did not bring the snake drain so we refused. And this guy started using threatening words and curse words and told my parents that we are in the black list and the business will boycott my family. This guy is not concerned about our review because he claims that his business has good reviews so my family's review won't affect them. Then this guy did not leave our property and was acting as if he was reporting my parents. My parents feel very threatened by this incident. Please beware, this business not only overcharges their customers but also threatens and bullies them.

I called Michael's Plumbing in addition to 3 other plumbers in the area to get pricing bids on a large (for me) plumbing project in our home.  I am familiar with this process as I own a business in the local area that demands maintenance and have renovated several homes in my past in other markets.

Calling the office; I was handled immediately, professionally and with a knowledge of their services and process.  The pricing was not the cheapest, but it was comfortably competitive to their comp set.  They worked with me on payment options - which I greatly appreciated.  Ultimately what won my business was how forthright and friendly Mike, the manager was upon arrival to provide a quote.

I coordinated this project to be done over the holidays (which was convenient for me).  I was understanding when they asked to reschedule it based on scheduling needs of their team members during the holiday season.  This project wasn't an emergency and I had the ability to be flexible.

The install was smooth and efficient.  Mike and Patrick were just very nice people.  They engaged me in details about placement, fixtures, and detail preferences. They were even friendly to my two barking dogs.

I have worked with several plumbers in the Orlando market and have not been impressed.  Michael's Plumbing was FANTASTIC.  They far exceeded my expectations and made an unsexy project like plumbing, easy and seamless.

I called to see if they could look at the problem I was having, not a minor one. Another company wanted to charge $400 for something and Michael's charged $40 for the same initial analysis. The total cost came in shorter than quote! Very professional, always communicating, and the work got done at a great price and at a great pace. Thank you! I will be using and referring them in the future. Don't mess with plumbing, call a professional.

We had a big plumbing emergency after midnight last week and needed an emergency plumber. After calling around, we found Michael's Plumbing. They came out to us within 30 minutes of when we spoke to them and only charged us $88 for the visit fee. I was expecting to pay a lot more. The total price of the repair was reasonable also and the plumber sent to us was very nice and efficient. We really appreciated their great service when we really needed the help.

Michaels Plumbing has been my go to plumber for the last 10 years. Service is top notch, techs are always professional and on time. Personally have referred Michaels Plumbing to my neighbors and family and they have never been disappointed.  Make them your first choice in your plumbing needs!

Had horrible plumbing back up and called Michael's Plumbing last night so I could get an early appointment in morning.  They offered to come out right away but I was tired so they said they would call first thing in morning.  They DID and Ariel showed up during the appointment time and was SO professional and nice.  He asked me questions and really listened to get a sense of the problem. He explained my options and quoted me a price... I needed my outflow pipe unclogged.  What a mess!  He did it quickly, used the cameras and the snake thing and made sure all directions of the pipe were clear and draining nicely.  He also gave me tips on things I could do to prevent the problem from happening again.  

In chatting with him I learned about the company and it's philosophy of always making the customer happy.. no matter what.  Ariel is a great spokesperson for the company and has a great approach to working with customers. I plan on using them again.  OH... and the bill was less than he quoted as he gave me a discount... check their company site for specials.

Not only did Michaels come out right away, but they replaced our kitchen drain pipe through out cinder block wall next day. Problem solved in less than 48 hours. Michael's Plumbing for the win! Also, Ariel is the BEST!

We have used Michaels Plumbing for years.

Two years ago, we hired them to run a new drainage pipe. They charged 9k because they had to run the pipe around the long side of the house. This was one of our rentals. Later we found out we paid for the long run, but they ran it the shot way, which should have been 2 k less.
Today we had an emergency and called them.
They wanted $600 to repair a pinhole in a sprinkler pipe. Two other companies quoted $200.
They also wanted $400 to replace a faucet. I pre-bought the faucet. I had two other plumbers (not handy men) quote $150.

So in an emergency, be prepared to overpay if you use this company.

Also, check their work to make sure they do what they quote.

I had a sewer drain clog so I called this company and scheduled an appointment for 3 pm. Around 4 pm the plumber hasn't arrived so I called to check on the status and was told that the plumber will be on the way soon. Around 5 pm the plumber still didn't come so I ended up cancelling the appointment.

We had a major plumbing issue that required a complete repipe of our house. Through a recommendation from another company we had Michael's Plumbing come out and give us a quote. The salesperson was nice and respectful and assured us that when the job was done that we would barely notice. Sadly, when we got the repipe done a month later it was anything but unnoticeable. The plumbers that did the work failed to discuss the space issues in our bathroom wall prior to proceeding. Now we are left with two bathroom fixtures jutting out of the wall. Not to mention, the shower fixture was put back on crooked, damaged and without the clear caulking that we had before.

When I expressed my concerns to the main office they sent a plumber out to reviveour fixtures. That Friday the plumbers came and looked at our fixtures and told me there isn't anything they could do. I asked about the clear caulking and they said they don't have it. Really? Clear caulking is highly available at any home improvement store in the area. When I asked about the crooked fixture the plumber started to suggest that I get the clear caulk and redo the fixture myself.  He went on to explain that there wasn't enough space in the wall for the fixtures either, which I get, but it was something that was discussed after the fact and only when I questioned it. At this point we discussed talking to a supervisor, which I agreed to. Again, sadly this never materialized. After I followed up with the main office twice over two weeks I have not heard anything back about a resolution and it's been over a month since the job was completed.

To wrap it up, I cannot confidently recommend Michael's Plumbing to anyone else. The sub par job and the lack of follow up after the fact is very off putting. As a dissatisfied customer I recommend seeking another plumber should you find yourself needing one.

CAUTION  *RIP OFF ALERT* - I referred Michaels to a neighbor and they highly embarrassed me.  They charged my neighbor $1500 for 3 hours work digging 20 feet of sand and using less than $20 in materials. The actual pluming work is about 15 minutes of work. Two guys showed up without masks as well.  I have done this job many times for myself as a landlord so I know the time, effort and materials it should take. It would have taken me no longer than 2 easy hours by myself with a lunch break. They replaced 20 feet of ¾ inch PVC, one elbow, one valve and one union at the meter.  It was about $12 in parts. The so called plumbers had to come back and re-glue the leaking elbow they installed because of their crappy work. They also left dirt all over the driveway to boot. My neighbor did not want to leave a review because he thought they were my friends. So I decided to make the call to Michaels without my neighbors knowledge and now do this review. I calmly spoke to the somewhat rude manager Michael/owner who felt that job was worth it and refused to refund my neighbor a penny.  I will not ever use them again for the times I cannot get to a job. I will also NEVER refer them again. I now feel like I should refund my neighbor for giving such a bad reference..

I've used Michael's plumbing multiple times in the past but this will be the last time I call them.  Hired them to replace a kitchen faucet.  Something not that hard to do.  I did not ask the price over the phone because I expect about how much something like that should cost and since I've used them in the past I assumed it would be a fair price.  First they were late.  Then after coming, they wanted to charge me mid $300s to simply replace the faucet with one I had already purchased.  The other reviews are correct in that they overcharge you.  I declined and had to pay $35 since they came here for less than 10 minutes to give me a ridiculous price.  Instead I called another reputable plumber on Angie's list who did the same job for $140.  Never again with Michael's plumbing.

I love Michael's Plumbing.  Everything is 5 Stars!  You cannot get any better!!! Michael is the kindest man I have ever met.  He fixed 2 clogs in a matter of an hour.  He cares about his customer.... Loyal Everytime!!!!  He is your Friend and helper at the same time.  Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Five Stars Everytime!!~

Michael's Plumbing repiped (with pex) our two story house over four years ago. They completed the job in just one day and the result was excellent. I am extremely impressed with their professionalism and expertise.

Service Pro John Myers repaired and replaced the coils in my Hot Water Heater.  Now I have hot water.   thanks John

I had a plumbing issues snotty girl answered phone wanted me to wait 3 days while I have leak I recommend getting quotes from other co. This one is over priced and took 3 hrs to look for a leak at a water meter.   Absolute joke  spoke to a lady named Ruth she's rude and unprofessional.

The worst company I have ever used. I asked them to come fix several things in my house the sink in my master bath being the main concern. The ladies in the office were extremely rude. They came out 4 times to fix it and I even had to pay an additional $145 to supply my own parts and still didn't fix the problem.

I have interacted twice with this company twice, in one instance they knew I had other bids as it was a re-pipe job so they had to be competitive.  I had a service call at one of my rental units and was quoted a price twice as much as the repair should have been.  Avoid companies who will not give you a ballpark price over the phone as they want to get in your property when you are vulnerable and try to make a number stick.  A Sucker Is Born Every Minute is their business model.  Many other affordable options available other than this company.

I called Michael's to install two bathroom sink faucets.  They were extremely pleasant on the phone and the plumber arrived promptly.   That is where the good news stops.   The plumber quoted me a price of $247 Plus tax -- FOR EACH FAUCET!   Frankly I am pretty handy but a bad knee prevents me from bending easily but I knew both of these faucets could be installed in less than an hour.  There is no way this job should have costed over $500.  I offered my neighbor $100 he had both of them installed in 38 minutes and then argued that $100 was too much. Will never call them again

I was so impressed with the professionalism of Jim with how fast and knowledgeable he was. I was unable to be there when the problem with my plumbing occurred,however my brother was on site and had nothing but great things to say about Jim. I would highly recommend this company and Jim to anyone.great job!

Every time I've contacted Michael's, they have given me impeccable service. John, Christopher, Michael are fabulous plumbers and the repipe we had done exceeded our expectations. Even Mr.Reynolds, the owner, came to place a permit on our house.

Website states they are available 24/7 but they forgot to say the answering service is available 27/7 and will take you name down for someone to call you during office hours. Total BS!!!

VERY EXPENSIVE, $235. to fix leak on water heater, I'll find someone for 1/3 that price.

What a nice little racket that they have going on.  Seriously, they charged me $35 service call fee to come out and give me a BOGUS QUOTE of $355.61 to replace the faucet supply valve and the dishwasher valve (only the faucet supply is leaking SLIGHTLY, but the dishwasher valve is attached, so Arsenio said they both need to be replaced).  

Umm, WTF???  I can buy a 3-way valve at Lowes for $8.98, or an even nicer dual shut-off valve for $19.98 (well, actually, for less after a 10% military discount).

I sincerely wish that I would have read all of their piss-poor reviews BEFORE I clicked on their ad and scheduled for their services online.  BTW, their advertised $25 COUPON that they offer for scheduling online is NOT VALID for the service call fee, only on additional paid services.

I would definitely not recommend this company to anybody. I made an appointment  and the plumber didn't come . When I called back they had several people ahead of me . They were not helpful.

Horrible service. Disrespectful, rude personnel. Treated not only me but the neighbors badly as well. How are these people still in business in a service industry?!

Diogenes, put out your light. We have found an Honest man and he has a plumbing company. I cannot help but to give Michael's Plumbing a five star rating. A fair price; a full explanation. Best of all, if you do not need it he tells you so. How much more honest than that? Kudos to Michael, Patrick, Willie and his crew. You will never find nicer people.

I used Michaels Plumbing on 3 different occasions for my Kitchen Remodel.  John capped the lines and disconnected the disposal on the first visit.  He then buried the water supply lines behind the drywall on the second.  For the last visit Patrick did the installation of dishwasher, disposal, faucet, and drains, as well as installed an ice-maker box and washer box.  Both plumbers were curteous, friendly, professional, and prompt.  There was also an unforeseen problem with the water supply lines when my cabinet guy tried to install the corner cabinet, so John came out immediately to move the lines further over and did not charge any extra.  Hey, problems arise when remodeling and it was good to see it resolved in a timely fashion.  I am keeping Michaels Plumbing in my contacts list and will go to them anytime I have plumbing issues.  They were easy to call and were always able to work around my schedule.  Thank you very much for your work.

The reason I do not give 5 stars is that their plumbers do NOT do dry wall repair of the very drywall they cut to do necessary work.  You will need to do that yourself or get someone else to do that.

Buyer Beware!  One of my neighbors recommended this company so I did not think anything to call.  I had a technician come out on a Sunday and thought it odd that there was no mention of this being an after hour call, which had I know I would have schedule for Monday. The technician quoted $700 for a leaky valve which my neighbor fixed for $20.  In addition, the technician tells me while he is here that the fee of $128 is due for an after hour service call. So many things went wrong with this situation. I begrudgingly paid the fee as I had no choice and asked the technician to leave. Sad way to learn why not to use this business. I called the company to share this information and was told that a manager would call me back. I have not had a call back.

Update: Received a call back by Mike who pretty much told me it's the cost of doing business in plumbing which is why his guy quoted me $700 for a job my neighbor took care of for $20.  I told him kindly that I was fine to pay a reasonable cost (i.e. $300) for the same job but he advised in today's economy he can not.  Be ready to be jammed in the ass if you call this place. Additionally, he just offered a verbal apology that no one on his team shared that this is considered after hours.  I even told them when I called it was not an emergency.

Total ripoff!  They charged $287 to fix a leaky toilet in 10 minutes with a part that I already purchased myself.  Will NEVER use again and definitely not recommend.

Overpriced.  $481 charge for garbage disposal replacement.  Less than 1 hour on site.

A tech from Micheal Plumbing knocked on my back door and asked me if there was brown water on my ceiling from the condo above me.  I checked and when I asked him why he suspected brown water he was very nasty and said he was just asking me a question.  I tried to explain to him I had just gotten a bathroom back after 5 months and the ceiling was new.  He expressed no sympathy and walked away. The man was rude for no reason.  He knocked on MY door.

I had a blockage causing water to overflow in the bathroom on a Sunday (of course) morning.  I called Michael's because they had done a good job fixing a leak in my Father-in-law's house a few years ago.  After calling the emergency number, Mike Jr. called back and came out in no time.  He fixed the problem with his machine and honored a discount from the website.  It was well worth the price for the peace of mind to have everything working correctly.  He was professional and followed Covid-19 protocols.  The invoice and documentation of the work were electronic.  I was still able to make my tee time!

Contacted them on Friday(8/17/2012) via their webpage where they promise fast 24/7 service. They could not bother themselves to even make a call back. I asked for a estimate on a kitchen outflow line cleaning with the removal of a foreign object.

this is a horrible company. after only one day they do not warranty their work. buyer beware

I called so many companies back in January late evening on a weekend as I needed emergency service. This company is the only one that called me back and responded within the hour. This past week I ran into another plumbing issue called them and again they responded quickly and the issue was resolved. I give this company over and above 5stars. This company is the best and I HIGHLY recommend them. They will always be my go to company. So glad I found them.

I used Michael's Plumbing of Central Florida to connect an existing drain hose on an ice maker. It ended up costing me $541 which I think is absolutely outrageous. I was very unhappy with the representative, his demeanor and the mess that he left. Apparently he didn't have the right tool to take the door off of the adjoining dishwasher so he had to leave and go to Home Depot. He said he didn't have the right tool in his truck. Apparently, he told me I needed to read the fine print on the work order because he had to add $117 to the bill to travel to the store. I needed no other parts, the parts that were there were fine and just needed to be reconnected. Overall it was a very bad experience and I would never consider using this company again.

Above and beyond! Called them on a Saturday afternoon. An hour later Ariel was there. Very helpful, knowledgeable and thorough. Thank you
