New air conditioner installation at my home. At the time of the signing of the contract to do work, a verbal promise was made that we would be provided a detailed receipt. After work was completed, we got a receipt that had one line item - the total of the whole job. No manufacturer, no model number, and certainly no serial number. I asked them again to provide what they had promised and they said that we purchased an economy package and that they won't provide us with this information. I have registered a complaint with the BBB and suggest others do the same if they have issues. My whole point is that if I have to provide proof of purchase to another service company =since I will absolutely NOT be using Frank Gay Services ever again), what does a piece of paper from them claiming to be a receipt and has a single entry for the whole job total mean to anyone outside of Frank Gay Services? Furthermore, they continue to battle the complaint to the BBB when they could have sent a the itemized receipt as requested. They keep pushing back and refuse to provide us with this pertinent piece of information on a $10k purchase. I can't discourage people enough from using their services. Stay away from them if you value good customer service after they have your money. Absolutely abysmal customer service practices.
