My water heater was leaking and I needed someone to come out to fix it. I called ABC since i'd seen their tv ads. In order to get any type of quote for the cost they told me they have to come out and I'd have to pay $59 which would then be taken off if I used them which pretty much everyone does. I had already gotten a quote from someone else at $800-$900 ($439 for 50gal heater, plus 3-4 hours labor and $50-$75 parts) but they couldn't come the same day. So I call ABC and they showed up and then quoted me $1400 to replace the 50 gallon water heater. Also if I sign up for their club .....and here we go, if I pay this, then they'll take off that percent of their already ridiculous price.  ABC, if you are going to charge $59 for a quote shoudn't the quote at least be in the ballpark with the rest of the world? I ended up using a 3rd company that could come next Day, Sat for $899. So with ABC, I need to pay $500 extra so I can apply my $59? Basically just gave $59 away for a over priced quote. Don't Call these guys unless you don't mind overpaying.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. We had zero issues with our A/C prior to ABC coming out. We called them to just do an annual maintenance inspection and system check. After they left we had water pouring out of our HVAC unit. We called them back out and they said they couldn't have caused the issue and told us we needed to purchase an entire new coil and drain pan assembly for $1,500+ in order to correct the issue. Had a handyman we had used in the past come out to take a look for second opinion. He said the issue was simply a clogged drain line and ABC failed to close the secondary drain hole/opening. He fixed it in 20 minutes for under $100. I will be reporting ABC to the BBB and steering as much business away from them as possible. Crooks.

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. I called to get my toilet unclogged and was sent out a plumber who they say turned out not to be a plumber. Needless to say my toilet wasn't functionable for several days before they got a real plumber to come out. After several days they tell me I need to get my sewage line repiped. I opt to finance and put a down payment down just to find out they ended up taking the money for the cost of the entire job out of my account. Almost $7,000 unauthorized that I filled papers out to finance just for them to take the money out anyways. This company is a joke! Not only did they send me an unlicensed plumber, take my money, but the job failed the inspection as well. Awful company! Save your time and money and use another company.

Absolute RIP-off artists. Changed me $2400 to install a $500 tankless water heater and wanted me to call an electrician. This was to REPLACE an existing tankless heater! When they finished. I had the same problem as before, no heat in shower. The shower valve was bad.

I called at 5:30 with an emergency repair and the receptionist went over what the emergency fee would be and told me someone would be calling me back and they would send a plumber tonight. I received a call back at 8pm and they said they weren't sending anyone this evening and they had no record of me saying it was an emergency and that they could reschedule me. Very rude on the phone! I believe her name was Ashley. She needs customer service 101 !!!

Needed a needed a new toilet installed for my home and relied upon 2021 Pinellas County Florida Five Star Rated by Home Services Review for a vetted plumber. ABC was among the list of recommended plumbers in the area. I'm not sure who vetted them, but they are unethical.

Plumber came to my house and offered me multiple options, all of which were very expensive. We agreed upon ABC installing a specific toilet that it would provide for $1,035. (This was the discounted price!) The installation was to take place the next day.

The plumber didn't arrive, nor did he call, the next day. I called ABC and they did nothing. The plumber didn't arrive the next day, or the day after. It took FIVE DAYS for the plumber to arrive with NO TOILET.

At this point, my family and I were desperate to solve this issue. ABC and I verbally agreed that I would purchase a toilet for the plumber to install. Plumber finally arrived, installed the toilet and told me after the installation that the adjusted price would be $677.

This was not an agreed upon price; it was adjusted based on what ABC thought was appropriate. This was not on the contract. And what ABC charges is not in line with what multiple other plumbers (including Lowe's toilet installation) have quoted me.

ABC is predatory. They prey on seniors who rely on vetted services from Home Services Review. If Home Services Review had actually done the research, they would see that dozens of Florida residents have been scammed by ABC.

DO NOT USE ABC. They rely on customers not understanding what their rights are and use unethical tactics and intimidation to get more than what is fair market value for the services they provide.

We wanted a water softener and filtration system in our condo. They put it in but the pressure in the building was to high so it leaked. They spent the whole day trying different ways to fix it but the pressure was too high. Diego was very patient and tenacious but in the end I had it removed. They refunded the money. Although it didn't work out, I appreciated the responsiveness, customer service and professionalism. I would get them again.

I did not have a good experience at all with this company. They told me they would be out quickly and it's been over a week with no callbacks or follow through. Maybe they're very busy, but I would go with Cool Today or Frank Gay as they did a much better job for me and came out the next day. Also avoid America Air and Heating as they're also too busy for me.

Seriously, shop around. They installed my unit less than a year ago and I have to call them almost every month to fix it. They guaranteed me that getting both an outdoor unit with my indoor would be better but it only left me out $10K and a hundred headaches. They have been out to my residence 10 times so far. On top of all that the city has fined them over and over because they installed my handler improperly and is causing a fire hazard....A whole year has passed. Still unable to bring my unit up to code. I'm going to see what the BBB can do for me. I will update you all afterwards.

Elderly abuse!  Absolute RIP OFF!! They send a guy out to do a routine service for my 82 year old disabled mom, get her to sign up for a maintenance plan, put freon in her system and leaves...said maybe she has a small leak which is why she needed freon.  That evening, system goes out, and she calls them at 7:30 AM to come out and they don't show until 7:30 that night...again disabled 82 year old...service tech tells my mom she has a major freon leak and going to take $1,000 to figure out the leak and system isn't worth repairing!  DO NOT USE this company!  I believe they were trying to take advantage of my mother and I plan on reporting them to the BBA!   First guy didn't even try to determine if there was a leak, never said your system is older ma'am your system is older, you may have a major leak and may want to replace your unit!  Never said anything!   I know have a reputable company coming out to help Cox Heating and Air.....I should have had them come out in the first place!  I would not even rate them 1 star!

4 year old AC quit cooling properly. Called ABC, who had just done a seasonal systems check 1 month earlier. Tech came, spent 2 hours doing various things, including cleaning filters, before finally concluding that I needed a part that was blocking freon, and would cost $3000 plus to replace, basically ALL labor, which was not covered under 10 year warranty. Charged me $278. Said that was the lowest amount he was allowed to charge. After he left, I called another company. Their tech came out, diagnosed the problem in under 30 minutes and charged $79. Same diagnosis, and I ended up REPLACING my 4 year old AC. I called ABC to see if they could explain the $278 charge. Was told a manager would call me in 24 hours. No call. Called again a few days later. Same promise, same result-no call.  A few days later, call #3. Same promise, same result-no call. This lack of response to a legitimate question is totally unacceptable and shows a complete lack of concern for their customers. There are lots of HVAC companies out there. I suggest finding a different one.

Do not use ABC plumbing.  They cheated me out of a lot of money, and I have the receipts to prove it.  They gave me an estimate on replacing several water pipes.  When they came and did the job, which was 2 weeks later, they only replaced one small piece of pipe and charged me the full amount of all the pipes they were supposed to replace.  That came to $2687.  Don't let them cheat you.

A salesman named Oney  from ABC Plumbing  came to my mom's home on 11/7/20, and arrangements were made to install a 15 Trend Steibel tankless water heater. Although my mom is in her early 80's,  she can handle herself just fine.  I was there to provide  some input, and help ensure all went smoothly and fairly.      
The guy checked the amp box and plumbing, and said all was good for the install.  Mom also signed up for the company's maintenance plan.  Total price: $2680.  She wrote him a check for half the balance ($1340),  as he requested.  He said he'd order the water heater, and be in touch within two weeks.  He never called.
So my mom called ABC in early December to find out what was going on and complain about no follow up.  During this call, they contacted the original sales guy (Oney), and she was told he would contact her in a few days.   Again, no call back. Around 3rd week in December, Mom calls ABC again, and they set her up with an appointment the following day for the installation.
Next day, a technician and associate show up at my mom's, only to inform her they can't  install the water heater until she contacts an electrician first,  to install an additional 30 amps they say is required in order for the tankless heater to work properly. This just added to the aggravation, because the salesman was initially consulted specifically about this issue before she commited to this.  He had said that the existing amps in her home were fine for the smaller water heater being installed.
My mom then proceeded to try to arrange for an electrician to come to her home at the same time the water heater tech was there, as apparently the two have to be done basically at the same time. She could not make this arrangement.
In all this time, my mom was never once contacted by anyone at ABC to keep her updated or apologize for all this delay and clear lack of customer service. Not once. She had to do all the legwork herself.  
So Mom finally had enough and decided a few days after Christmas she no longer wanted to do business with ABC Plumbing, and wanted her deposit check back. She was told billing had been contacted, and she would receive the check back in the mail.  The woman she spoke to also actually told my mom she owed them (ABC) $118 for the salesman's time, and wanted her CC# to cover it. Mom told them to return the check for $1340 first.
A couple of weeks pass. No check.  She called ABC again on 1/6/21, and was told the check was mailed out right after the last phone call around Christmas, and was probably delayed beause of the holidays (not likely...the check was being mailed from St. Pete to Clearwater, and it had already been over two weeks). Another two weeks pass with no check returned, so Mom writes a detailed letter to Consumer Protection.  On 1/25,  the same day she receives a letter back from CP saying they had contacted ABC Plumbing to inform them of my mom's complaint along with forwarding the letter she wrote, she received the check back form ABC.
Consider it done? I don't think so.

The first time I had service the guy had to leave to get a screw from the warehouse. He was gone for about half an hour. When I complained they sent me a $50 gift card.

I had an emergency and call them out again. I explained that my dishwasher was not draining. The woman took half an hour to put together a request because she didn't know how to use the software. And she finally got my reservation I waited for the plumber. When he got here he told me that they don't work on dishwashers.

At least he was able to drain the dishwasher of the built-up water. I just happen to speak to another company for a refrigerator repair I mentioned would they also look into the dishwasher issue. The woman for that company told me that if I had a disposer install it could be blocking because the installer forgot to remove something. I immediately called ABC to come back and check out the configuration of the disposer. I waited for hours for what could've been a 10 minute visit. They never came. I made an appointment for the next day for the same time after 3 PM and again they never came.

I will never use this service again

Seriously, WTF is wrong with this company. 6 months ago my AC unit went out and these sheisters overcharged me by literally $1000's on my replacement.

Fast forward 6 months, the new unit isn't blowing any heat. It's in the low 40s in Florida for the next few days, the coldest it's been this time of year in almost 4 decades.

I called them this morning at 9:09AM and told them I needed it serviced as soon as possible because the temperature in my home were approaching 60 degrees. A representative called me back at 12:57PM and told me that when a technician was en route that I'd get a call or text 30-45 minutes before his/her arrival. At 6:48PM I received that text, at the time I was out with my family, so I had to return home a wait for the technician to arrive.

It's now 11:02PM and I've called them 2 additional times at a little more than 1 hour intervals and still haven't either received a text or call from any technician. It's so cold in my home that I had to send my wife and daughter with special needs to a friend's house for the night on Christmas (F*cking) Eve. It's 58 degrees and only getting colder in my house and around 42 outside.

I'm sure that if it was an employees or the owners home system that wasn't working properly that it would have been fixed as a priority, but because my issue is only warranty work I feel I'm being pushed to the end of the line.

The first time I called them, they lost my appointment. They rescheduled for the next day. Replaced capacitor in outside HVAC unit.

I paid them $47 to become a member. With some perks.

The next time I called them was to swap out a kitchen faucet. The plumber was inexperienced. For some odd reason, he disconnected the hot water connection to the dishwasher. Cold water ran out. He asked if I used cold water to do my dishes!!

To swap out the faucets, it took two hours (!), and with the discount I was charged $500!!!! Their prices are outrageous even for those of us who paid the $47 to be a member.

Today (June 23, 2022) I called because I needed two outside faucets replaced.     The representative sounded like she was calling from Mars. The connection kept breaking up. After more than eight minutes of giving my information so she could verify my account, I asked to talk to her supervisor. There was no supervisor on duty!! C'mon. Any time a business is open there has to be a supervisor.

This is NOT a local business. When you call their toll free number, you get some kind of national answering service.

IN SHORT, DO *NOT* DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! CHOOSE A COMPANY THAT'S LOCAL.

i wish I could give them a ZERO.

Great company who stands behind there service and products they provide, plumbing is one of those trades that you really should be more concerned with the warranty of the services provided then the price,If you think it's expensive to hire a good plumber try hiring a cheep one. You get what you pay for with ABC.

After a very short power outage my a/c would not come back on. Called them and they scheduled me immediately. They send you a profile with pictures on your technician ahead of time so you can feel confident letting them in. He was very cordial professional and quick, checking everything
And diagnosing the problem. He arrived within 2 hours of my call. Highly recommend them!!

Called the company to perform an annual service check. The technician arrived, very charming but obviously a total salesperson. He spent most of the time trying to sell us on a package service plan to cover our whole house which would save us on future repairs/
He tried to tell us that we would need to replace a 5 yr old Bryant System or at least spend half the original price to let him perform some checks and fixes.
When asked if the 45 year old copper lines could be leaking causing us to lose freon over the course of a year, he responded that copper never leaks except at joints. This technician does not understand copper corrosion and should never be sent out to do any inspections. He might be qualified to turn a wrench under close qualified supervision but not to diagnose a system problem.

I called them for an air conditioning tune up for 59.00 and all I got was taken.All that happened was they opened my air handler showed me that the coils were rusted. They closed it up and went to the air conditioner and took pictures and basically told me it was in need of replacement. When I called to complain that I did not see any work done they said well it should be wet all around where they said they flushed it out, not a drop of water was present. I was told that a supervisor would call me back but all I got was  another rep. So much for their 100% customer satisfaction.  DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!

Signed with them to replace our existing AC system for about $13k. Two techs came out, spent spent 7 or 8 hours doing the job, told me the system was up and running but it would take about an hour to cool down the house. Ten minutes after they left, the vents were putting out 99° air. I turned off the system, called ABC to get those guys back but was told they weren't answering their phone. Another tech came out, spent about 2 hours and said the wiring from the thermostat to the outside unit was incorrect but, because of the framing of our roof, he couldn't get to the wires and another tech would come out first thing in the AM to fix it. It is now almost noon on that day and no one has come. Multiple calls to ABC and I keep getting told that someone will be coming. Poor workmanship by the installers, poor customer service from the call center/dispatch. I'm still sitting in a hot house waiting, hopefully not futilely.

The lady that answered the phone on 12/08/2022 was very rude and not very helpful. Her name is Ialee I believe ,not sure of spelling. She would not give any help or transfer us to someone else and when we called back a couple times she just picked up the phone and hung up. Very,very unprofessional. No customer service at all. Terrible! Terrible!

We called them only because we had a new countertop installed on a Friday (4/1) and needed the sink hooked up on a Saturday (4/2).  What a mistake! They didn't have the part they needed for the job, so they came back on Monday (4/4).  I called and asked if I could order the part on Amazon, receiving it on Saturday, but no one called me back.  Anyway, they came back on Monday and finished the job.  Tonight (4/7) I turned on the garbage disposal for the first time and it did not drain and there is a leak from one of the pipes in the cabinet under the sink.  We found a spare part from the Grohe faucet that they left off and the retractable hose doesn't retract unless it's forced back in.  ABC gave me $100 off the $600!!!!! charge because we didn't have any kitchen water for the entire weekend.  If we had a do over, we would have waited until Monday to have our local dependable plumber that we always have used to do the job.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Had my AC and heating pump system installed back in December. Ever since it was installed I've had issues. I waited until now to right this review because I was hoping this company would rectify the issues I've had.

First the heating pump kept activating the emergency shut off inside of the unit. I kept calling and having people come out - which btw they don't give you a time frame so you legit have to wait ALLLLL day. Whenever someone different would come out (I've had to have someone come out 5-6 times for this issue) I was told something different each time. I was also stood up a few times after waiting an entire day with no one even bothering to let me know that no one was coming even though an appointment was scheduled. It's summer now so I can't tell you if the heat is working even though they figured out the issue

Now it's summer and the AC unit can't even keep my house cool. During the day it won't go below 77 degrees!!! This AC unit is a dud and was so overpriced. For the money I could have gotten two units and then maybe my house would be cool during these summer days.

Then let's talk about the permit inspection that was required... why a permit was needed is beyond me but either way I schedule my inspection and low and behold NO ONE SHOWED UP!!!  I reached out several times only to find out they scheduled it after the permit was CLOSED!!! To top it off I waited all day - another missed day at work - and no response or heads up no one was coming. I only found out the next day after sending several texts.

I was also told by some named Temple I would be sent some gift cards for this entire inconvenience. Haha go figure 6 months later no gift cards were received.

This company is a joke. I should have read the reviews closer!! I noticed in the reviews others had the same issues!!!

I literally have no idea what to do anymore. This was supposed to be a fun new exciting upgrade to my home!!! My first big upgrade and I'm now regretting the whole thing.

You'd think if you are selling AC units for $10k you'd make sure they work and are top of the line. I wish I could have them take this junk back and I could just get my old AC unit again because even though it was about 15 years old it worked better than this NEW unit.

Well, they got their way over-priced job done alright (new countertops, so had they come in and hook up again kitchen drain, garbage disposal, and new faucet... about an hour's job)... they charged $365 for that work !

I asked for an estimate ahead of time, but consider it done couldn't give me an estimate until the date of the job... trouble with that is, if I don't like their price, I'm thrown back out into the marketplace to start searching (and waiting) all over again...  ABC knows this and uses it to their advantage to trap customers into their over-priced work.

So, I got the job done and paid by check.  That was 11 days ago - and - my check still has not cleared the bank.

When I called today to complain, I was told, Sorry about that.  It takes two to three weeks for accounting to process a check.  WTF???  2 to 3 weeks to process a check???

I doubled down on my complaint and the customer service (LOL) rep. just doubled down... sorry about that... that's how it works... nothing I can do about that, etc.

So - while I'd like to consider it done as far as this one job with this one company is concerned, I can't CONSIDER IT DONE until my check clears the bank - perhaps another week... perhaps another two weeks.

So - here's my bottom line - I am considering it done as far as ever using this company for anything ever again...

CONSIDER ME DONE and good riddance !

Taking advantage of disabled people. That should be their slogan. We called this company to help us with our A/C because we had a carrier credit card. The rep came out and gave us options to partially replace or replace full system. The prices were so high compared to everyone else we decided to just do a partial replacement. Which was as much as other company's to replace the whole system. But we were stuck because we didn't have the cash and had to use the card that they accepted. I made a big mistake by telling them how much available credit we had and low and behold the amount of the fix was exactly that amount. Which was way to much. That night the rep was in our home we were hot and he was trying to contact his manager Justin and he wouldn't pick up because he was eating dinner. So the rep came back the next day to move forward with paperwork and that put us out 4 more days in the heat before installation . Here comes the bait and switch. When he came back his story changed and we went from getting a 2 ton coil and compressor to a 1.5 ton compressor and 2 ton coil And when I questioned him he said that this is what he could do and that it would work. So we were hot and desperate and they knew it. My wife has MS and is very sensitive to heat and stress So we were stuck and they knew it and they took advantage of a disabled person. The system has not worked properly since it was installed and they have sent out technicians that keep contradicting the last one that was here to fix it. One technician last night said they need to match the tonnage and they just won't do it. And the manager Justin will not return our call, send us a receipt.

If you're reading this, heed my warning and don't bother calling them. We paid $14 a month for their membership and when it was time for them to come and do maintenance on the AC unit they didn't and then told us we needed a new system. Fast forward and after they left quoting us the MOST expensive quote we've gotten (we priced matched with other local business) we realized that they TURNED OFF OUR AC AND WE WENT WITHOUT AC OVERNIGHT WITH A TODDLER. We had another company come out and turn it back on and provided us with a quote that was 3K LESS and showed us how they never did any maintenance on our unit. When asked to refund us for the $14 over the course of 6 month we paid they said they couldn't, even though the tech went on and on about how their a multimillion dollar company. I guess $84 is too much to ask for back after all of the poor service we've received.

Didn't look at yelp before i called them.   I made the mistake.    They dispatched a tech out of bradenton to cone out and service my airconditioning unit.  He did do some investigative work, and fixed the electrical issues, and replaced the fan under warrantee.  However the 650.00 charge to do the work was way overpriced for the work performed.  I felt guilty in that i asked for an   experienced tech to come out to fix my unit. Didnt know that they had to pull someone from bradenton to find them.  I felt that i then should have paid for the guys time coming from and back.  In the end, it was just a bad deal on my end.  Would not do it again.

Stay away from this company, it's a scam. They wanna show up for $79 just to tell you that your unit is broken (duh).  Then the first option for them to even begin to do work started at $1500.

I have never met a more crooked unethical company. They want you to read their literature and try to add value by showing you all the pretty pictures of how they fix peoples equipment and want you to Buy in way beyond a reasonable solution.  

They are crooks.  Over valued work for more than top shelf pricing.  Caveat emptor.  Call anyone except these people.  I threw 79 bucks out the window for absolutely nothing.

I would rate them a zero if I could but that was not an option!!

Call ABC and it's  done.That is their commerical i.p.o on tv. It should say call ABC and it's  done wrong. My house could have burned down. The wiring was a all wrong.Advice always pay with a charge  card. We got our $ back. ABC never came to pick up the junk they put in. I got a master  plumber  to the job.ABC NOT ONLY THREATENED MY FAMILIES SAFTY.  THEY ARE VERY EXPENSIVE AND USE PEOPLE THAT DON'T  KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. Do yourself a favor call someone else

Seminole Florida homeowner sought water heater quote.  The reservationist on the phone and the website did not indicate that there would be a fee of any kind for an estimate or I would not have had this company come into my home. The estimate was provided quickly and when we elected not to go with the estimate I was presented a $59 service call fee. I was hopeful that this would be the company I would be using for all my plumbing needs but I know better to read reviews more closely. I would recommend asking this question before you allow a technician from any contractor to step into your home. Lesson learned.

If you are prepared to pay anywhere from two times to five times what everyone else charges then you will love this company. No matter what work they do it's anywhere from $300-$500 an hour. Maybe they're plumbers double as lawyers or doctors. I have only used them in emergencies because they can come out same day. Every other company I call is a week to two weeks out. This also says something about their business. If everyone else is booked up and they are available on a daily basis they must not have enough customers. Be prepared to go broke after using them. First time I used them, 20 minutes $350. Second time I used them, 1 hour and 10 minutes over $1000.  Third time I used them, less than one hour $1000. Insanity! I've got to find someone else to use in emergencies.

Service Technician was 3 hours late, he came by to confirm the issue I already knew was the issue, was in my home for 2 minutes and charged me $59 for the visit. They quoted me $350 for a job that takes 10 minutes to fix effectively charging $2100 per hour. They overcharge and get away with it for people uninformed.

Why didn't I check Yelp before I contacted this company?  I fell for their constant commercials on TV, so the only thing they are good at is marketing.  Consider it done is their slogan and that is a scam, it is just the opposite.

I hired them to do a regular maintenance on my air conditioning unit. This was on a Friday.
I needed a special filter for our system, so the technician said he would order it and install it on Monday and he told me the time he would arrive. He did not arrive, despite the fact that I spoke to the dispatcher and he kept telling me he was on his way. That was a lie and he never showed up. During the period of three weeks, 4 more appointments were made, whereby they would even call in the morning to confirm the appointment. No one ever showed up. I called several times to inquire on why no one came and I was told different stories and I even called their customer service department and they didn't even call me back to give me the status. They even took to such lies, that all of a sudden after 2 weeks of no-shows that the technician had been sick for the past 10 days. That information was never given to me before.

To get an AC filter installed took 3 weeks which entailed of course staying home for each appointment and nobody showed up.
I strongly suggest you don't use this company...you can NOT consider it done!

I would never recommend this company to anyone. They were at my house at the beginning of the year to redo the plumbing in a bathroom. It's almost August and the plumbing isn't finished. There is no sign they will ever return to finish the job. They drilled holes in brand new tile in the wrong place.

I am split on giving 1 star of 5 stars so after (now I read them !) the reviews I decided on 2 stars. Technician showed up on time, was friendly and explained that he would check out the problem and give me an estimate. Charge would be $59 for the estimate. That price would be taken off the job if I used their services.  I told him the toilet was backing up and running very slow. He quoted me 3 different prices. One was if he just needed to snake the toilet. $243 . If he had to remove the toilet and snake $461. If he had to rod the main line thru clean out line $492. He could also replace the toilet for $1033. (I just just had it replace last year, $450.00). He also sold me a one year maintenance plan at $14.95 a month which gave me a discount.  He tried to snake thru the toilet but to no avail. He removed the toilet (even charged $14.97 for using his wet vac to remove the water from the toilet). Could not get it to unclog.  Went outside to the clean out line and finally got it open. So I was charged both for the toilet removal (which did not work) as well as for the clean out line.  Total $872.97. Did get a %10 senior discount so that was nice. Now, I can't complain about the technician, he worked fast, was on time and as for selling a maintenance plan he works for a company. He did his job. He also used a manual (from the company ?) to determine the prices. My reason for the rating is the price. If this is common pricing practice for the plumbing job that was done then I apologize for the lower raring. I would recommend for anyone who is plumbing illiterate like myself is to find a plumber(s) that will give a FREE estimate.

Better read all the reviews about this franchise before you use them for anything, plumbing, AC, anything. Way overpriced and totally unresponsive to complaints about service. When I threatened to call local TV station about them, they didn't bother to show up for the scheduled appointment. Guess our budding friendship is over!

If I could give negative stars, I would.  I called yesterday and was given an appt time between 8-8:30 today.  At 9:00 I called and asked if there was a problem.  I was told, from the dispatcher, that they were loading their trucks and would be on the road shortly and would call me when they were on their way.  At 11:30, I called again and again, from the dispatcher, they couldn't find the tech that was assigned and that they would assign another tech to dispatch to me.  At 2:30 I called and voiced my displeasure at being made to wait so long for the tech to arrive.  I'm of the opinion that if you call and complain about being made to wait so long, they make you wait longer out of spite.  So it's done is right. I cancelled the appointment all together so that I could at least get some of my day back.  DON'T CALL THEM. THEY WON'T SHOW UP!

If ABC's pricing wasn't so ridiculously out of line, they'd probably get a 4* or 5* rating from me.  Tech was prompt, professional, and experienced.  I needed my gas cooktop disconnected/reconnected when I was replacing countertops.  Wanted to charge me $640 for work other companies were quoting at $200.  Wanted to repkk LLC ace flange and guts in my toilet for $1400 per toilet.  I can replace the whole  toilet for $500.  Tried to sell me a $1,500 tankless hot water heater for $6,500.  

Do not bother calling.

For those that do not know, this is a national company with franchises all over the country. From what I can tell, their fixed pricing is nothing more than a scam that probably many seniors and those people that are afraid to challenge companies like this have been ripped off by.

Here is the synopsis...
Had a shower that needed a new valve. Wouldn't turn on anymore, so since we needed that replaced, I had gone out and purchased a new setup which included tub faucet and shower head.

I paid $59 for the tech to de a diagnostic. He concluded from the book that all the techs have that this would be the charge

Rebuild and furnish cartage - $411

To replace a shower cartridge, it may cost as low as $65 to as high as $220, on average. If you need to replace the entire faucet including the entire valve, the trim, and new handles, prepare to pay more.

$531 for labor which the tech admitted would be less than an hour of work.

Even better...they could save you money by joining a club. I didn't bother to get that pricing.

I saved $712 by realizing I was being scammed.

Even if I am not able to get back the $59 scam...I mean diagnostic fee from ABC, I did myself a service. Now, I hope to do that for everyone else in Tampa Bay.

The advertisement of their Club is such false advertisement. It is to give the customer priority scheduling so time and time again I'm the 1st or 2nd order of the day and today is another false guarantee: I've waited for service since 8:00 this morning and it is 6:30 p.m. and I'm still waiting. Christmas is coming too. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with.  I missed two appointments because it's not a company with integritty. I believe in one's word is their word. This has not been my experience. I'm only told what I want to hear.  So disappointed.

If I could, I'd give them a -5 stars for thieves. They sold me a tank-less water system for $3,267. I was in need after my water tank began to leak and was turned off. The man went out to the truck, was there for while and came back with this estimate. There was no break down in the cost. Later I found out that the tank-less heater he sold me is $649 in Amazon. No senior citizen or army veteran discounts were offered. it only took approximately 2 hours to install. Also, they don't seem to be local, I called them because I found them in the 5 Star Rated 2022 Pinellas County  Florida book. I wish I would have looked here first.

I put my trust in ABC. I made them my plumber, with full intention to be loyal. They have good people. But the company model just sucks. My garbage disposer began to leak after 8 years, and since I was battling walking pneumonia, I thought it best to call in the experts. Another great guy shows up for the $59 service call (which is fine, because it's discounted from the bill, if you move forward.
But for that $59 dollars I was given a choice of 2 (and only 2) disposers. Option 1 was OVER FOURTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS! Option 2 was TWELVE HUNDRED DOLLARS.
Know how many Insinkerator Badgers you can buy for $1200? At least TEN. Yes, says the guy--but those have a lotta plastic parts.
Yes, I say--adding that those plastic parts lasted EIGHT YEARS!
So ABC Plumbing charged me 60 bucks for two ridiculous, insane and obscene choices.
I hobbled into a big box hardware store, bought a new (and better) Badger for UNDER $150 bucks, and a friend will now install it at no charge.
Goodbye ABC. I barely knew ye. And I made a mistake in trusting you.
