We had a reoccurring issue with hot water flow and needed to find somebody flexible and quick to help identify and fix the issue.
Shawn and Elite Service Plumber responded back to a quote in a quick manner and was able to set up an appointment in short notice. I appreciate Shawn's honesty and clearly discussed the issue and fixes- and he was able to diagnose the issue and fix within the same visit. Definitely recommend the company and will be working with them again!

Nowhere in your communication to me did you indicate that you were asking for the price point because you wanted to offer me a better price. You just asked me the same question twice with a ??? in between. Has the world forgotten basic manners and human-to-human interaction?
Learning basic customer service and customer satisfaction will help you go further in your business. (Also note that I am not the first person to comment on the lack of professionalism in the communication).
I've used him twice, once for a pipe that burst in the wall and a second time for the kitchen sink drain leaking. Shawn was nice and I felt like the price was fair. We'll definitely use him again.

Want to start of this review by saying I asked for a quote and availability on Yelp at 1 in the morning. He responded right away thinking it was an emergency. I responded back but by that time he already went to sleep.
Shawn (the owner) did the work and did it right. He came to unclog my sink. He told me he would be at my house by noon, but he was coming from Bethesda so he came around 1. Which was fine. He gave me a heads up that he would be late.

Absolutely stellar service and responsiveness from Shawn. We were in need of fairly rapid disposal and toilet repair, and Shawn answered the call. We were so glad we did not self-diagnose and try to fix the toilet problems as he quickly caught a leak that we would've definitely missed.
He was professional, respectful, and extremely communicative, and even though he had to go out for parts, he managed to complete the job very quickly. It simply doesn't get any better than Shawn and the elite service he provides!

I've been relying on The Elite Service Plumber for five years. I cannot speak highly enough of Shawn and his team. Prior to finding Shawn, my family had several flooding issues and myriad plumbing challenges due to the age of our home. Shawn is extremely knowledgeable and skilled and immediately diagnosed and treated our long-standing plumbing issues that had other plumbers stumped.
He has practically done everything there is to do in our home concerning plumbing. In all candidness, that's an understatement because he has truly done so much work for us over the years--even coordinating with other contractors for major projects. I used Yelp to find a plumber to install a kitchen faucet and the first one was so amateurish that he wanted to charge 540 for installation and the charge for a new faucet is 540! (I bought one from Amazon.com for less than 60, excellent reviews.) Further he was very late. I contacted Elite and they charged 273.92 for the installation, I consider this charge reasonable. The job was promptly completed. I am keeping his name on my list of repair companies and I will surely call Elite for my future plumbing needs.
Couldn't have asked for better service. He came out, diagnosed and explained the issues I had very thoroughly and fixed them all in a timely fashion. Will definitely use this company again for any future plumbing issues and you should too!

We thought our dishwasher was leaking, but then realized water was leaking beneath our kitchen sink. I reached out for a plumber through Yelp in the evening. Shawn was responsive and able to come the next day. He diagnosed the problem (the faucet hose was leaking), gave me options (replace the faucet vs. get a new part from the faucet manufacturer), and was even able to replace my faucet on the spot, saving me from more hassle (he just happened to have the faucet I needed!). He does quality work at an honest price.
Shawn is a great person to work with. He came to my house and took care of all the issues I had with my pipes being broken (which led to flooding in my laundry room). He was the first plumber to actually diagnose the problem, instead of just clearing out the pipe and coming back again next year. If you have any plumbing issues, give this man a call.

Shout out to Sean for helping my family while we were in desperate need. Our home was flooded on New Year's Eve of 2022. We spent the whole day waiting for our apartment maintenance to dispatch a plumber. Out of desperation we tried calling a plumber ourselves and no one was answering or they told us they wouldn't bother showing up. But Sean answered and could tell how devastated we were that our home was being filled with sewage and septic, a back up, for the whole apartment, was going straight into our unit. He took the time during an appointment to come out and help us alleviate the problem. He was truly a blessing when we felt helpless. He is worth every cent and I would continue to trust him with all services. As someone who works in construction and facilities management, I truly appreciate his professionalism and efficiency. I have used Elite Service Plumber on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. They always answer my call and are prompt in coming out. Communication is great, they always explain what the problem is, the potential solutions and the estimate for the work. There are no hidden charges or bait and switch, everything is very transparent. This is also the only plumber in the area who can competently diagnose and fix my Bosch tankless hot water heater.

10/10 would recommend Elite Service Plumber / Shawn to anyone! We had a pipe leading to an outdoor spigot that was crack in multiple places and Shawn was able to look at it a couple hours after reaching out to him on yelp. We recently moved into the house, so Shawn was able to explain why the pipe busted because of the way it was installed. He was able to fix the pipe and add a part that helps us prevent the same issue from happening again in the future. He did a great job!
The next day, I was having trouble with a hose that was stuck on different outdoor spigot and gave Shawn a call in the morning. He had a busy day but he was kind enough to swing by our house the same day and fix the issue right away! Shawn is quick and reliable, hire him!
I had a leak in my kitchen ceiling and I called them and they were able to come out the same day and quickly diagnose the problem. He fixed our issue, explained what the charges would be before he looked for the leak and I appreciated his honesty and expertise in fixing it quickly. I would recommend them for my next job.

We noticed a leak in our basement...at 9pm! I reached out to a few companies and Shawn was the only one who volunteered to drive to my house that very night. He was able to diagnose the problem and provide ready made solutions to ensure the problem doesn't happen again.
Our garbage disposal was clogged and we could not use our sink. Shawn came out and got it fixed within an hour. And he was entertaining and just a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend him!
Elite Service Plumber was able to squeeze us in the same day we called, for a progressively worsening leak under the kitchen sink that was more complex than it looked due to the work of the previous owner/ installer. Thankfully the years of experience enabled our plumber to solve the problem within a quick timeframe, and also provide quotes for other potential projects we may have in the future.

I had a job completed by an un licensed handy man to save cost . Boy was that a mistake . If you own your home don't ever do that just pay the higher fee and get the job don't right the first time with warranty . This is our basement bathroom only used by our teenage son and kids after sporting events. Shawn came out for and estimate and came back the next day to complete the job he did charge a small service fee and it was taken off at the end of your total . Shawn was an experience professional who new what was talking about . He was able to diagnose my issue right away . I am a Registered Nurse and professionalism cleanliness and safe practice . 5 star service and 5 star personality. Their pricing was very competitive. Shawn was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. He even called WSSC on my behalf to schedule a clean out of the street shut off valve. I couldn't have picked a better company. My water pressure regulator and spigot were leaking. Shawn came to replace three shutoff valves, wpr, spigot and all the pipes in between. Job was well done using quality material. 10 out 10 will use again.
I politely tried to get a quote from this company offering a detailed description of the job and explaining that I knew it would only be an estimate but that plumber's costs vary so widely we were just trying to figure out who would likely be a good value, rather than having a handful of plumbers come to the house during a pandemic just to get ballpark estimates. We also have young children who are unvaccinated and are trying to minimize their exposure to people, especially in the home.
A man who was identified as the owner of the business replied to my query and was incredibly rude, acted like this was the most unreasonable thing he'd ever heard, and suggested I should have to pay just to message him.
We just moved to the area and are looking to our go-to plumber, we just bought a fixer upper. Could have been great customers to this guy if he wasn't such a jerk. Don't waste your time here.
EDIT, RESPONSE TO OWNER: Sorry he wants to paint me as a cheapskate, it was never about the $29 service fee (not even sure anymore what the $18 is about...) and everything about the fact that this guy was trying to make it as inconvenient as he could for me to get an estimate, which is exactly how home improvement providers get away with ripping people off/price gouging--trying to make it so homeowners won't realize that other people are charging $200 less for the exact same work. Because who has time to have 5 plumbers come to their house just to figure out how much they cost?
I took contractor bids as part of my job for quite some time, guys like this would never play games like this with a commercial client, but they do it with homeowners because they're banking on you to be uneducated enough that they can bully you and get away with it.
The company I ended up going for with this job (message me to get their name, Yelp won't let me post it here) and a number of other local reputable companies, had NO ISSUE giving me a ballpark estimate via Yelp, phone, or FaceTime with the understanding that the actual cost could fluctuated based on the unexpected. People who are competitively priced with other area businesses have no incentive to try and hide their prices.
Shawn was the top notch and most responsible plumber I've ever met. I was a little bit skeptical with his diagnosis at the beginning with my leaks underneath our master bathroom toilet. I was thinking more of a crack pipe underneath the toilet bowl which caused the leaks in our dining room ceiling but as soon as Shawn came to my house and after initial investigation, he told me this was caused by either loosed ring or deterioration around it with years of usage. So, he told me that he can try to fix the issue but it will come back pretty quickly and it's better to replace the entire toilet. He gave me a couple of options with standard flush type one vs air assisted flush one. There were about $300ish apart but there's more benefit with air assisted one down the roads in terms of better flushing power, longer lasting toilet and less water consumption. I decided to go with air assisted one and he scheduled me for very next day around 4 pm even though other appointments booked all day long which was fantastic. I took off my work earlier next day because of 4pm appt with Shawn however, he called and said that he's going to be late like around 6 or 7ish and asked me to reschedule to next day again. I wasn't really happy because of the fact that I took like half day off just to make 4pm appt and needed to take off another half day off next day or possibly whole day off. But, nice of him telling me he can still make it out tonight even if it's real late like 7:30 or 8. I was like hell yeah, that works for me. I really felt bad though because we all need dinner time with families after work, you know. Kudos to Shawn, he really came around 8:15ish and quickly replaced my new toilet (he had to go to his office in the middle of install because of a wax ring he brought wasn't big enough or something like that). Now, folks who does that at 9pm despite the fact he didn't even had a lunch and dinner at all. He came back after 30 minutes later and made my new toilet works like charm. No more leaks at all. I was so relieved!!! If you don't call this top notch plumber, who is then? I couldn't thank him enough. Shawn @ the elite service plumber is my plumber for life!!!! Superb job, Shawn
Kinda rude and I am suspicious about their honesty. Asked for a quote upront and was told I would need to pay a dispatch fee first. That's not unreasonable, but then I said other companies have given me quotes for free. Then was asked for those other companies' quotes (hypocritical?). Then was (surprise!) given at least a ballpark estimate lower than what I said. Whether or not that estimate is true or whether or not I was really just talking to the receptionist, I do not trust working with this company. We had a major flooding in our basement from two sources the water heater and outdoor drain. It all happened late in the evening. Shawn was the only plumber who was kind enough to come to our house late in the evening to shut the water leakage from the water heater to avoid more damages. He came the next day, replaced the heater and tried to fix the outdoor drain free of charge. He is professional, courteous and straightforward!! I highly recommend him.
My old hot water heater started leaking from the bottom so I found Shawn on Yelp. He responded promptly to my Yelp message and came out the next day. His service fee is by far one of the most reasonable prices out there. He told me I'd need a new hot water heater. Due to supplies being in high demand his first choice an A.O. Smith was not available so he was able to find a Rheem. He installed it the next day. Unfortunately, over the next 2 weeks the Rheem hot water heater pilot light kept going out and Rheem's customer service was not easy to get in touch with nor very helpful. Now here is what sets Shawn apart. After communicating with Shawn all the problems I was having with the Rheem and my family not having hot water he took it upon himself to take out the Rheem and install an A.O. Smith at no charge to me. I asked him if he'd be able to get a refund for the defective Rheem and he said maybe. So he took on this potential loss for his customer. He's a great plumber and a stand-up guy who clearly values and takes care of his customers. Will be using Shawn for any future plumbing needs and will be recommending him to my friends. Thanks Shawn!

My husband and I had a great experience with this service. We had an emergency in our home and needed services pretty quickly. The Elite Service Plumber was quick and responsive on Yelp. Shawn came out that same day that the request was put in and he came in within 2 hours of our request. He fixed our issue and for that we were grateful. We would recommend this company for any plumbing issues.

In the midst of the Corona Pandemic I had a plumbing emergency. Bad timing to say the least.
I called Elite Plumbing and was able to get a repair done the same night. Shawn the man who fixed the problem was fabulous. He also gave me some recommendations that hopefully my landlady will respond to. He explained them to me matter of factly and said he would be willing to talk to her about the situation. I appreciate this as I've lived in my place less than a year and have had problems with that toliet before.
I'd recommend this company to other people.

Contact was seamless and quick. They came out quicker than expected. Fast service, genial, pleasant and quick, as well as the price being right (right around what they quoted in the initial exchange, but actually slightly lower.)

Happy with this service. He responded quickly with a quote and was able to come out much sooner than the other plumbers. I had a semi-emergency so I was thankful for next day service. He came by, understood the problem, and came back the same day with the needed pieces. He was very professional and nice and the job was done in a very short period of time. He also took the time to explain what he was doing and what could be done. He wore a mask - which is good since these aren't times homeowners want a stranger in their homes. I would recommend this company. Finally, my tub faucet doesn't leak.

Professional and experienced, highly recommended!
My water heater was broken last week. It didn't have constant hot water flow anymore. The hot water wouldn't last for a minute then became lukewarm, so essentially useless in such a cold day. I searched the Yelp review and called Shawn, he came to my house the same day for diagnosis and quickly rooted cause the issue. He proposed a solution then fixed the issue in his next visit. He also did a follow-up to make sure it's all good.
Shawn was extremely professional and explained every aspect of the issue at hand. He walked me through every step of the problem solving process. He's honest and gets the job done with incredible efficiency. Plus, he's a great guy.

Received an in-house estimate to replace a gas water heater. He seemed very knowledgeable and his price was middle of the road. A few other plumbers mentioned Wash Gas/Energy Star rebates on their heaters and suggested other plumbing fixtures that I should replace so I called Elite Service Plumber to see if they did the work also.
The person that answered the phone was very curt and off putting. I first asked about the make/model of their gas heaters and available rebates. He simply said We don't do those. I then asked about the price to replace a regulator valve and change out some shutoff valves as well. The response was Couldn't tell you. Don't have my tablet in front of me. and then a long pause waiting for my response. I thanked him and hung up. I would think that most people that want business would ask for my contact information to get back to me with the appropriate information if their tablet wasn't within their vicinity.
He probably does quality work at a decent price, but I wouldn't ask him for quotes on other jobs in the future.
Shawn was nice and professional. He was honest about what I needed and didn't need. He also offered more affordable alternatives. I will call him again.

Please call Elite Service Plumber even if you have a relatively minor repair. My Dad was a plumber but I still needed to call to get a small job completed. Elite Service Plumber can handle all repairs- simple to complex. I wholeheartedly endorse them for all your plumbing needs!!
This is maybe my second time using yelp and what a great experience to find Shawn - The Elite Service Plumber. He answered my cry for help right away, you don't get service like this anymore. Very knowledgeable and explained everything. I now have a new plumber!!! Enough said.
I called Elite on the recommendation of a friend who is an HVAC tech. I needed urgent service at night for sewage coming through my bathroom tub. Shawn responded within the hour, efficiently fixing the problem, and was totally Covid-compliant. I appreciated the care he took to ensure his safety, as well as that of my family (masked, gloved, required sanitizer before any transaction between him and I, etc). Because of a leak discovered in my kitchen, Elite arrived and assessed the situation. They proposed a fee that would involve multiple visits to resolve the leak. Several areas in the bathroom directly above needed sealing and after trial and error with the shower and toilet and sink, I have determined that it was resolved with just the one visit.

The only plumber I'll ever use! After having miserable experiences with four (yes, 4!) other plumbers in the area, I didn't know where to turn. When my main water line sprung a leak 3 years ago, I called 2 other plumbers who were recommended from friends. Both of these plumbers didn't handle this type of work, but they recommended Shawn Cowart and his company, The Elite Service Plumber.
Shawn came over quickly and gave me a competitive bid. I have a large front yard, and I was impressed with the speed at which the backhoe was delivered and work began. They were able to thread the new water line through and pull out the old. Another plumber had attempted to fix it a year before and botched the job, causing a lake in my yard. I thought Shawn's concept was pretty smart.
After that time, The Elite Service Plumber has re-plumbed my basement and handled a major leak, and they fixed and replaced my water heater. They have also fixed 3 leaky faucets outside, along with leaky pipes, a toilet and the connection to my washing machine. I have continued to be impressed with Shawn and his company, and I have recommended him to numerous friends. I don't think there is anything they can't do! You know you have a good plumber when they come highly recommended by other plumbers!
I worked with Shawn a few times since my previous review so I thought it was time for an update. I had a situation at a condo recently where the toilet was broken and the water couldn't be shut off because the shut-off valve didn't work either. He found a creative way to fix it without me having to waste the time and expense of having to shut off the water supply to the entire condo building. He really knows his stuff, has come up with cost-efficient, easy solutions when I thought I needed expensive repairs, and I know his pricing is more than fair because I worked with several different plumbers before I found him. Finally, as a woman, I really appreciate how he patiently explains things without patronizing me. You really can't go wrong with Shawn.
This company is amazing! Hands down the best plumbing company we have ever dealt with. We had a leaking pipe and tried to fix ourselves (I Know) and quickly we out of our depth. I looked on here at 7:30 pm and requested a quote figuring I would get a response the next day. Instead I got Sean responding within mins, and had a technician at our home that night for a REASONABLE price. Professional and friendly, we will 100% be using them again for plumbing needs.

Discovered a leak issue with our sink and reached out to Shawn and his team, they were incredibly responsive through yelp, and explained the issues to us and our landlords thoroughly. Our landlords ended up deciding to repair themselves, but we would 100% call Shawn and his team again should any issues arise in the future!
Quick response, professional, great communication, and knows his stuff. He even gave advice concerning work that was done by other professionals that wasn't done correctly. Suggested I reach out to original company to fix. I highly recommend and will use again in the future.
Bottom line: this guy knows his stuff inside and out. Highly responsive and friendly. Good help is hard to find, and I wouldn't hesitate to call Shawn in the future.
So many plumbers are booked for days including Shawn, but he was the only one willing to squeeze me in the schedule with such short notice. My kitchen sink had a major clog that we always seemed to get once a year. Shawn showed up masked and gloved. He took the time to assess why this was occurring so frequently. He devised a special contraption to ensure none of that gunk spilled anywhere and left us with the tools to ensure we never experience this type of clog again. Elite helped fix my plumbing issue in the restroom efficiently for a good rate. They are highly responsive and definitely know what they are doing! I will seek them out for any other plumbing issues in the future.
Looks fishy. Talked to a guy over the phone and kind of rude with the way he spoke to me so I think I already know how he's going to talk to me when it comes to final price discussion. He would not give me a quote - fine. But he also cannot provide a range - so that makes it really weird. Others did.
No manners over the phone - stern and lacking customer service. Probably horrible service, too. Glad I chose someone else. Phew!

We called for an emergency on a Saturday morning. They were on-time, professional, and gave worst-case quotes with explanations of all the charges. The services ended up much cheaper than expected. We are happy to have found someone we can trust. We will use this business again !
Service, expertise and resolution - exactly what I needed!! Called regarding a toilet issue. Shawn called back, told me he'd call when he was on the way (which he did). He did an assessment and then explained to me what needed to be done, how much it would cost and, after my OK, he went to work. Within a very short amount of time my problem was resolved. What more could you ask for? Service, expertise and resolution!
Efficient, competent and friendly service. Everything went perfectly, and he was very nice when I didn't know simple things, eg where's the water shut off valve. Highly recommend!
I had an issue with water backing up into my dishwasher, and also my faucet was leaking. The tech did a good job explaining the problem and resolving my issue. My only gripe is that they are very expensive, and definitely on the higher side if you choose to go with them. I would suggest that they carry more than two options for faucets so that customers can actually have a choice and not be pidgeonholed.

Honest guy who came after Xmas to fix a leak in faucet and hole in disposable. He was able to repipe part of my trap so it worked better. Each service was priced and not based on hours.
After a frustrating Sunday investigating falling water pressure 2 years after buying my house and an earlier call Monday morning to another Yelp recommended local firm that wasn't available until Wednesday to look at my situation, Shaun quickly engaged in diagnosis over the phone and was able to visit that afternoon. Confirming my fears, plan of action, replacing well pump and pressure tank wasn't cheap, but high quality and very happy to engage in dialogue about underlying causes and long term solutions. Not only were the immediate problems resolved by juggling his schedule two days later, Wednesday, but system was in better condition (larger, more appropriate sized pump and system operating at a somewhat higher pressure) with new equipment, instrumentation, fittings, electrical and water lines, than when I bought the house. Plan to use him again!

I've used The Elite Service Plumber on three occasions--about three years ago to install two new toilets, two years ago to install a tankless water heater, and just last week (on New Year's Day) to fix our kitchen sink (which was backing up and not draining).
I've seen Shawn, the owner, each time I've called for work to be performed and cannot say enough great things about him. He's been extremely responsive in terms of answering the phone, making it to my house much more quickly than any other plumber we've used in the past, and answering questions about how best to remedy situations from a cost and technical perspective. On New Year's Day, he was at my house an hour after I called him. Shawn has been courteous, professional, and has provided my family and me with the utmost level of service.
After having used other plumbers who didn't ever show up, hit me up with extra charges, or did lousy work that needed fixed afterwards, The Elite Service Plumber and Shawn will be the only plumbing company and plumber I ever use.
Our sink stopped up and I ended up taking everything apart and still couldn't find a stoppage. Shawn came out quickly found the stoppage deep in the pipe and fixed it right up and then gave advice on how to avoid the situation again. Very nice, funny, and efficient. Definitely recommend.
My experience was not good. We needed a plumber because of a problem with water supply to the toilet. I sent out a few quote requests on Yelp and this was the first guy who replied. He did tell me that the service charge is 29.95 and assured me that if the problem is not fixed there would be no charge.
When the plumber came - and I understand it was the owner - he saw that the toilet was old and basically refused to think any further or to try to diagnose the problem. He offered two expensive options: to replace the toilet or to rebuild it. My husband tried to explain to him that the problem is not with the toilet itself - he could see that because he took off the relevant valve and saw the water is not coming into the tank at all. He *would not listen at all*. All he wanted to do is to replace/rebuild the toilet and charge the money. Since then the problem went away of its own, very glad I did not hire this company. Of course they did not refund the 29.95
P.S. you can see from his reply what you are dealing with. Lots of emphasis on the supposed expertise, which was not in evidence. I am aware we can replace the toilet, and we will in due course when we do other work on the bathroom. However, when we do hire a plumber for that it will be a plumber who *thinks*, not one whose attitude is I am an expert, give me your money.

Great service, very professional. Shawn came to our house to fix a backed up shower. He wore a mask, gloves and shoe cover (which my wife and I greatly appreciated given the coronavirus situation). He did a thorough investigation before doing anything, and ended up fixing our issue very quickly without any major work, saving us time and money. He also took the time to explain to us how our system works and what was wrong. We will definitely be calling these guys next time we have an issue. Thank you!

If I could give Shawn and his company 10 stars - I would. The first time we needed his help, he responded promptly, was professional and provided us with a quote. He came back a few days later to do the job, it was in a tight spot and required some sodering. He did an excellent job! The second time he came out, same deal but he was able to do some of the work that day. He was informative and knowledgeable; answered all of our many questions (including many from my dad). He will be back once the replacement cabinets are installed in our kitchen to finish the job. On top of that, he was very friendly - we really trust and value his opinion. I will be telling all of my neighbors to call him!
They came to fix clogged up toilet and they fixed it quite quickly. All was great. The technicians were A+. Happy I found them!

I need plumbing work done in my kitchen sink/ drain and put a request to several plumbing services via Yelp. I went with Shawn, with Elite Service Plumber, because he demonstrated an exceptional human element. I don't like haggling and have a lot of questions generally to ensure I understand what it is to be done. He was very cordial throughout the process and answered all my question with even a drawing to illustrate. I like the costumer centric approach. Furthermore, price was reasonable and he also helped fix other problems without charge. So that was super nice!
Finally, turn around time was great. I contacted them and he gave me a schedule next day.
I will 100% recommend Elite Service Plumber.
Reached out to a few plumbers through Yelp for an urgent kitchen faucet break repair. Elite called me back within 10 min and could come by that day. Shawn arrived within the stated timeframe and was cordial and professional. We talked through a few options on the repair (Faucet only? Faucet and upgrade sink too?), and he provided very helpful, practical suggestions. We ended up with just the faucet for now, with the most durable style. He completed the repair and cleaned up the debris. It was not inexpensive but I feel that we got value for the part we selected and the job that was done. I would definitely use them again for any other plumbing needs.

Super friendly. Easy to work with and, I felt, honest with his pricing. I would recommend. He replaced a main cut off valve, cleaned up some funky piping along with it, and replaced a hose bib. Definitely on my list for any future plumbing needs.
Issue resolved quickly and excellent communication & follow up. I have a full understanding of the issue now,& what else may be needed.
These are the only guys I'll use. They are worth every penny. We've used them several times. Professional, excellent work and always willing to go above and beyond.

So thankful for their 24 hour service. My toilet flooded the night of Christmas Eve (10pm) and I needed emergency plumbing services. There was a steep dispatch fee but I was desperate, so I agreed to pay the fee - the end result and peace of mind was worth it. I will likely use them again for future plumbing needs.
We hired Shawn and Elite Service Plumbing to repair a broken shower handle and replace our home shut off valve. He was quick to respond, and did a great job. We couldn't be happier with the service, and his prices are fair and reasonable. Plus, he's just an overall nice guy. We will definitely use him again.

We have relied upon Shawn several times in the past couple of years and I am only just getting to do a review now. We had an emergency - leaking valve - the night before leaving for a Christmas vacation (on a Friday night) and Shawn came right out and fixed it for us. More recently, we had a toilet plumbing issue that resulted in a leak in our ceiling on the floor below and Shawn was incredibly responsive, did excellent work diagnosing and solving the problem, and warranting his work. And, most recently, we called upon Shawn for help with leak detection. If you are looking for a cheap, inattentive, fly by night outfit, Elite Plumber is not for you. If, on the other hand, you want a reliable, knowledgeable, and highly attentive and skilled plumber, who treats your home as if it were his own, look no further. I have Shawn's number saved in my cell phone and I wouldn't hesitate to contact him again for any of our plumbing needs. That is why I give him the highest, five star rating I can. TY Shawn!
Sometimes you run into a person or company that exceeds your expectation. This one is hard to write because SO many variables here. 1) Had an issue since Thursday and the warranty service we used couldn't find anyone available until the following Monday. 2) It was Mothers Day weekend 3) Caring for an recently released knee surgery parent whom had only been home 1 week and is temporarily on oxygen. 4) Working from home trying to keep things moving at the office and spending too much time with the wet vac. Now after 3 days no help from a home warranty service I went outside to my buddy YELP. Tried Elite based on reviews and location along with a few other companies. The guy who answered had someone who could have came by Friday, but the dumb warranty service I used had called shortly after and said they made a mistake and was contacting a company for us so I canceled Elite (BIG Mistake). The supposed company the warranty service claimed they had never responded so Saturday I called Elite back and they put me on the list. Their dispatcher kept me updated to my surprise sending me a text at 11PM with an update on when to expect a truck to come by. Skipping further along my older home and the tech had it out but overall the plumber kept his cool and worked through it all. Professionalism, courtesy, helpful advice, jokes, cleanliness, knowledgeable, prompt, dedication to the task at hand, and a damn good guy to say the least from what I learned in two days of battling the stoppage and leak issues I was having. Working on Mother's Day to see we were at least in a better place with the plumbing than when he walked in says a lot about the dedication and customer service I received. I wouldn't hesitate to refer friends and family to The Elite Service Plumber, and will definitely use them in the future. I just hope it's for some planned work next time, but either way the first impression I have of the overall service is outstanding. From the company owner to the gentleman who answered the phone and kept me updated by text both days on when to expect a service call. YELP and The Elite Service Plumber did not let me down. I requested service for a leaking bathtub faucet on Sunday after the 4th of July after my water bill came and almost doubled from the last one. Silly me thinking the leak wasn't that bad. In 24 hours I had 4 responses from plumbers. But only one responded within 20 mins and that was Shawn Cowart. I gave them all a call back, and let's be honest here, counting our $$ in these trying times is a priority. Half of them I called back couldn't give me an estimate over the phone. It's a leaky faucet, not a water heater replacement. Shawn, who was a pleasure to speak to on the phone gave me a range. He turned up on time on the scheduled day and my total was what I expected considering the range and type of set up I gave him over the phone. He was courteous, knowledgeable and had all the spare parts needed to get the job done. 30 mins later, he was on to his next appointment and I could rest assured to not have an increased water bill going forward. Thanks Shawn for all your help. I will definitely be calling him for any future plumbing repair needs.
This the 2nd time I've called Elite with an urgent matter. I discovered my basement toilet and bathtub had overfilled. I called Shawn from Elite, who arrived in an hour. After a relatively quick but thorough assessment, he determined my main sewer line was clogged. He identified the source, which was outdoors and went to work. It was a rather persistent clog deep down in the ground. But Shawn worked diligently over an hour and half to to free the line. Complete disaster avoided. All of his efforts weren't wasted as he unclogged the line. I could hear water gush through the line for nearly five minutes straight. If you want an expert in his field, Shawn is the one to call.

I had a leaking toilet which required me turning off the main water supply. With that being a problem Shawn made it to me within the hour (even though he was almost to his favorite fishing hole) He fixed everything quickly and reasonably. I will definitely be calling on them again.
Strange experience. Price quoted was way above others. Seemed like they didn't want our business. Very fishy.

They are extremely busy at this time of the year so appointments are about 2-3 weeks out from the time you made it. Shawn was our plumber and the owner of the business. He was very quick with this work of replacing our faucet outside that had a blown out valve. He had to make a small 1x1 cut in our dry wall but he tried to do the minimal damage to our wall. Work was done in about an hour and warranty came with the repair. I'm not too familiar with plumbing prices but the bill wasn't as hefty as I thought it would be. Reasonably priced but definitely not incredibly cheap. He also gave his insight on making sure we drain the lines during winter because everyone always forgets to do it. A plus was Shawn was super friendly and our golden retriever loved him. Sean didn't mind him jumping all over him while he was using his ipad. I will definitely have this business as my official house plumber! They're great!
We woke up on Saturday morning to a partially flooded basement due to a broken water heater. We called two other plumbers first. Both were helpful but not able to take care of us that day. We called Elite around 11:15 and they immediately diverted a truck to pick up a new heater from their supplier which closed at noon. They had other calls before us and arrived around 3:30 and the work was completed by 5:30. Sean mentioned a corroded pipe that was not pressing but should be replaced so we will bring them back to fix that. Also, we had gotten a ballpark figure from one of the other plumbers and Elite was substantially less....great service at a lower price...win, win! I would not hesitate to use them again.
I highly recommend this company for fast and honest service! They even fixed issues from a previous job by another company that was done incorrectly for no extra charge. The owner himself ( a master plumber) came out to give the estimate and completed the work right away. Prices are more economical than other similar companies!
