We found a water leak in crawl space piping- called Alex and he came over within the hour! He was honest about what he thought the cost would be and what the repairs were. After completing the job he even lowered his initial estimate since it ended up being a little simpler than he thought! The repair was high quality.

Cannot recommend Alex enough. Called him with an emergency when we woke up to water spraying all over the bathroom floor from a leaky faucet/bathtub. He answered the call at 8 am on a Saturday and was at our house shortly after 9. He spent most of the day trying to fix our issue and only charged us $147. He stopped the bleeding but couldn't fix the leak entirely because of the vintage tub and parts we had. So he refunded our money and helped point us in the direction we need to get a permanent fix. Pretty incredible. We will definitely hire for all our plumbing needs in the future and I would recommend him for others based on our experience today.

My incredibly old water heater finally sprung a leak on a recent Friday evening. I found WHE Plumbing after a quick google search and found they were still open till 8. So I reached out and got an immediate response. Within an hour, Alex was here to diagnose the issue (which was that I needed a new water heater ) and gave me recommendations on which new heater would best suit my needs. Since it was late at night, we couldn't do much at the time, Alex made it a point to pick up the new water heater and install it the next day, as soon as was possible. After he arrived, he had the old unit out and the new one in in record time. I'm not sure what the record is since this has never happened to me before, but regardless, Alex was fast, efficient, and cleaned up the mess before he departed. Highly recommend this local business!

This is the 2nd time I have turned to WHE for plumbing support. They're excellent in communicating. They came out on the same day we contacted them. They confirmed a one hour time slot, then texted me 15 mins before to let me know they were on the way and they provided an ETA. They quickly provided an assessment and cost estimate. The price for their services was very reasonable. They sent a receipt via email.

Once again ... very thorough, exceptional customer service.

We've used them twice now and highly recommend. Every tech that's helped has been great, super nice, and got the job done in a timely manner. Their prices are also very fair! Some of the quotes I got from other plumbers were waaaaaay more expensive. Can't recommend WHE enough and they are our go-to plumbers now.

After too many single-degree days for our north-facing pipes, this morning one of them said no más. Next thing I know there's a whoooshing sound in our walls. Genius that I am, it took a few minutes to figure out it was water, and another few to shut off the water main.

But then I did something truly smart: I texted Alex.

Twenty minutes later -- that's right, Yelpers, 20 minutes -- he was on my doorstep. And less than two hours later he'd repaired the pipe. Plus, he charged me LESS than he initially quoted for the job -- he realized the problem was x and not y, as he originally figured it was. Plus plus, because I'm a repeat customer, he knocked an additional 15% off.

But really and truly, aside from the fair shake he gave me on the fee, Alex is super competent and super responsive (did I mention he got here in 20 mins?) and super responsible.

I wish you a burst-pipe-free winter, but if it happens, or if you have other plumbing/water heater needs, you can't do better than WHE.

Alex was super fast and efficient! I called because I smelled faint gas coming from my water heater and he said he'd be here in 30 minutes and he was! He was very thorough. He checked all the gas lines in the basement and the water heater twice on the highest setting of his meter to be extra sure everything was safe! Good  thing: no gas leak! We will definitely be using him when it's time to replace our water heater in about 6 months to a year!

3 weeks ago Alex came over to our house and gave us a quote for replacing our 10 years old water heater as well replacing our broken water pressure valve. He showed up on time as promised.

The quote is very fair and more importantly, Alex does a great job with the installation and he is prompt and responsive to any questions or concerns we have. Even the county inspector was  impressed with the installation job.

I found these guys on yelp, after another plumbing company wanted to charge me between $3,000 to $5,000 for a new water heater. I initially communicated with Alex who was responsive. I was able to send him photos of my set up in which he gave a verbal quote. I then set up an appointment. A tech came out, I believe his name was Victor. He performed the water heater replacement with no issues. I also had him replace several valves and a drip pan. They cleaned up their job area and everything is great!

I had a leak in my water heater expansion tank which is apparently rather unusual but Alex came out the same day I called and was able to quickly replace the tank for a reasonable price and explain the problem.

We had to have WHE out twice within a month for two unexpected plumbing repairs. Both times, Alex called me personally the same day and I had an appointment within hours. He and his team were very professional, honest about the work that needed to be done, and fair in pricing. We will definitely be using him whenever we need work done and I would recommend WHE to anyone looking for a reputable guy to help you out.

Recently, my old water heater decided to go out with a watery splash. I searched the internet for a good company to repair or replace it and found WHE, and I'm so glad I did! I called and Alex picked up fairly quickly. I texted him my info and then he came out to diagnose the water heater. Initially, I figured that we may be able to fix it, but by the next day more water was coming, so I decided to replace it. At the time of diagnosing, Alex gave me some possible very reasonable replacement quotes that he honored. I shot Alex a text with pics of the extra water the day after the diagnosis before they were open and he called me up quickly! I was surprised that he'd respond before opening, but he was very accomodating and professional. By the end of the call, I was scheduled for replacement. Vince came by to do the removal and replacement, and so did Alex. Before the end of my word day, my house had hot water without any leaking. WHE are completely dependable professional folks! BK

Alex was awesome! I happened to go down into my crawl space to do something and found a pin hole leak in a copper pipe spraying out water. I found Water Heater Experts online and gave a call to Alex and he was at my door in an hour! He gave me a reasonable price and was done in less than an hour. Initially consulted Alex for water heater replacement and he was willing to check out our sump system due to my concerns about its functionality and might not be up to code. Alex gave his honest and professional opinion, not pushy, offered a very reasonable quote to replace the sump pump and piping; I removed the old piping system due to leaks and issues and they made accommodations to come out the next business day to replumb the system, they were even willing to run the piping as previous where I could have it empty into my yard drainage piping as requested. My water heater stopped working on a freezing, snow packed day. Checked yelp for a repairman and found Water Heater Experts. Called them immediately and Alex was at my house within 20 minutes. He checked out what was wrong and gave me an estimate, also did a worse case scenario and gave me an estimate for that as well. Thankfully it was the cheaper issue that was wrong. He got it fixed and back up and running pretty quickly. Talking to him, I could tell he was very knowledgeable. WHE will definitely be my go to for future issues.

Called Alex to set up the descaling of our tankless hot water.
We agreed on a date and time and he was running late on the last job and he called we decided to reschedule.
The reschedule date he messed up and went to a wrong location.
He had 2 Bob B. scheduled on the same day.
Finally the third time was the charm.  He completed the job and comp me for the mess ups.  He had the best price for descaling of tank.

It is not an exaggeration to say Alex at WHE is the best contractor of any variety I've ever hired to do anything.  Here's what makes Alex extraordinary:

1. Straight off the bat I was impressed by his responsiveness and professionalism.   He responded to my original request for a quote and assistance right away, and every step of the way answered questions promptly, kept me apprised of the process, prepared a detailed, polished and professional bid for the job, and remained available after hours to answer questions.  He takes the time to explain everything carefully and honestly.   I've had other contractors speechify at me interminably just to showcase their expertise and to horrify me about how badly I need them.  Alex explains to reassure.

2. The project was a complex one, or so I was told by other bidders.  A previous circus clown of a plumber had quoted me $25,000 to run a gas line to the kitchen.   I asked through chuckles do you plan to work on one gas line full time for two months?  Another contractor made a far less insane bid, but still required me to hire a drywall guy to patch up after him, adding to the expense and the PITA factor of coordinating multiple contractors.  It took Alex's creativity and clear, uncluttered planning to devise a much simpler plan for running the gas line without tearing through walls, and coming in at a much lower bid.

3. When the Big Box retailer wouldn't provide installation services for the new gas cooktop, Alex offered to install that as well, including connecting the downdraft feature.

4. Installation of the downdraft presented some unforeseen challenges, but Alex worked hard to come up with solutions, ran and purchased materials to make the installation work, and charged a reasonable price for the additional work.  He even came back on a Saturday to finish the job after picking up some needed parts.

5.  The inspector who reviewed the gas line installation commented that the work was superior.  

6. Family members who are normally impossible-to-please nightmares were very impressed by Alex's work, his demeanor, and his professionalism.

7. While at the house, he discovered a leaking toilet and fixed that right away for a reasonable price.

8. Alex is an all around affable, confidence inspiring, good character person.  

If you can't tell by now, I'm a big fan.  I'm never using anyone else for my plumbing needs.

Wonderful experience with this company. What we were quoted was fair for a water heater replacement and the estimate ran exactly in line with the final cost. My water heater was fifteen years old and I knew I had to replace it at some point. Last week when I noticed it was leaking, I sent an inquiry through Angie's List to find a plumber. My posting was up for less than an hour when Alex called me from WHE Plumbing and said he could stop by in an hour and look at the problem. He gave me an extremely fair price to replace the water heater with my existing brand because I told him I was very happy with the brand quality. Today he and his associate replaced my water heater in less than 3 hours, cleaned up, and hauled away my old water heater. I highly recommend this company and will use them for my future plumbing needs.

Ok, a couple of things here.  

First, I rarely give 5 stars because to me that means way above and beyond, but I'm doing it here not because it was particularly above and beyond, but to negate other reviews that may have not hit it off with Alex.  Alex is European and direct and I can see where some folks might take that as being gruff, but he really is a super nice guy.

Second, I also never go with low bidder.  In my mind you are giving up something for low bidder.  In WHEP's case, theirs matched closely with two others I had gotten, so they weren't really low bidder but only missed the the lowest by $150.

Alex was fantastic to work with.  He's not going to talk your ear off the entire time, he's direct and to the point and I appreciate that in someone who bills by the hour!  

There was absolutely ZERO monkey business going on with quotes versus reality, as you read in SO many reviews of these types of companies.  Not only was the quote precisely what I paid, but he accidentally underquoted the price to pull a permit and get inspected by $50 and just threw that $50 in because he recognized that wasn't what was quoted.  That's just good business right there.  In that move plus one other detailed below, he EARNED my trust in him.

The installation went perfectly, he and his guy were exceptionally professional and they didn't install some bottom of the line Home Depot water heater for the price, it's a quality piece of equipment.

They were very respectful of my house, putting down drop cloths everywhere and they even swept up around the water heater before they replaced it, which was both unexpected and nice to see.

Would I hire Alex and his team again?  Yes, unequivocally I would.  If he did end-to-end plumbing services I would call him for everything.

Here's an exclamation on top of this already glowing review.  The drain by my water heater had a steel cover on it and he wanted to take it off to run the drain pipe from the new water heaters pan, but couldn't because it was gunked shut.  He recommended I get that off at some point and inspect the drain because it is also probably a bit gummed up, so I asked him what it would cost to have him do that and he told me without any hesitation: yes, we could do that but you are better off calling companies that specialize in this because we'll charge you twice as much.  Name me other folks in this business that admit that freely.

My mother's water heater stopped working and started leaking (on a Friday night, of course).  I called WHE the next morning.  Alex answered and said that he'd be over a bit later in the AM.  He arrived on time, quickly assessed the problem, and explained the situation.  I already knew her water heater is a less common model, not typically available at local big box stores.  He sourced one quickly and installed it later that day.  He did a thorough job, taking the time to ensure everything was done right.  I ask lots of questions, and he was very good about answering them all.  Very helpful and professional business, with great communication.

Our daughter recommended Alex when our water heater needed replacing this summer.  He responded immediately, arrived as promised at 5:00 and returned the following day to remove the old heater and replace it with the new one, leaving the work area in immaculate condition unlike the company we hired earlier this year to replace our furnace.  Since we have no drain near the water heater he voluntarily installed a drip pan and water leak alarm.  We will be calling Alex for all of our future plumbing.  He's a phenomenal find.

These guys are the best. Had a water heater go out and they accommodated our request to get it replaced the same day, by sending three trucks after hours, and still came in almost 20% lower cost than a separate quote we got from another company with high ratings (who couldn't make it for two more days). I contacted WHE the morning after shutting my gas off due to a smell in my basement. I actually contacted several places I found on yelp, one didn't have an opening for a few days and two other places got back to me later in the afternoon,  but Alex answered when I called he was professional, polite, and able to come over immediately. He told me the price for finding the leak and I had him come over. He found several leaks and gave me a fare quote that included his inspection cost and went to get supplies. He would be back between 1-2, and he was, he brought 2 crewmen with him and they replaced my pipes quickly. They all wore shoe and face coverings and didn't wake up my sleeping baby while he napped  his room located close to my front door. Which I was great.  Once they finished, they showed me the work and it looked great. I paid on an iPad and it was exactly what he had quoted me. I will use them again if I ever need a plumber.

Needed both of our outdoor hose bibs replaced after they froze and cracked due to my oversight (sigh).  Put in a quote request to WHE on Yelp.  Alex responded quickly to my inquiry with an estimate that easily beat the competition.  He arrived right on time (with a nice ETA text), was courteous and professional. He also stuck to his original estimate which was wonderful.  He completed the work in good time, wore shoe covers in the house, and cleaned up afterwards.  The work was very well done.  Overall, an excellent experience at a price that can't be beat.  Would recommend Alex and his company without hesitation.

Very professional and fixed my hose bib quickly! Alex responded to my yelp message quickly and we came up with an appointment time. Very affordable and they do not charge a fee to come give an estimate. Alex wore booties so no dirt was tracked into the house. My final price was lower than his original estimate. Great job!

WHE is great. Alex provided a free estimate, same day of my initial call. Arrived when promised, explained in detail all work needed for the repairs I was having done. He was even able to take on more work not mentioned in our initial discussion. The work done by WHE would have cost $1500 from most companies, WHE did not even charge half of that, and guaranteed parts and labor for a year. 10/10, would use again, and recommend to friends/family.

Can't say enough about how good my experience was - let me bulletize:

- I contacted 6+ plumbing companies, and WHE was first to be willing to schedule an appointment to look at our failed water heater
- Timing from initial contact to replaced water heater was under 24 hours, and I feel like I got a very fair price given how easy it would be to gouge someone in our emergency situation.
- I've worked with other local plumbing companies in the past, and I can tell you that the PROFESSIONALISM and RESPECT I got from Alex was second-to-none in the area.  I'm a handy guy, and nothing makes me want to drop a business faster than when I feel like I'm being talked down to.
- Our water heater setup is special in that the heater needs to be elevated to drain properly.  Alex didn't have the equipment to do this on the spot, so he had me pick up cinder blocks while he was at another job.  This could have been a delay to the project, but instead he was creative with the customer, and I appreciate that!

The long and short of it is that I will now be a customer of WHE for as long as we live in the area.  Thank you!!

Alex was just what we needed and did a great job!  

My wife noticed a rust stain on the tile under our pedestal sink.  After a closer look, I noticed that there was a pin-hole in a small portion of galvanized pipe.  I'm fairly handy, but was also pretty certain with our house's reputation that something terrible was on the way.  Decided to hire the work out and Alex met all our needs.  The fix ended up being straight forward, but he chatted with me through the process and explained everything in a way that made sense.  I would hire him again for repairs.  He worked quickly and got us back to status quo within the evening.  

I should also mention that WHE's hours were what really sealed the deal when we looked for a plumber.  Having posted hours til 8pm meant that when we found the issue at 6pm, we still had a shot at getting this fixed.  Alex took our call and after a brief explanation showed up within an hour.  We were lucky as a previous job didn't take as long as he expected.  

Overall, everything worked out and we now have a leak free bathroom sink :)

If i could give Alex and WHE more than 5 stars I would. You can have complete confidence in WHE. and they are worth every cent. Alex is honest and an extraordinary Master Plumber.  Knowledgeable, hard working and very serious about his profession. He provided a fair bid and was able to replace my 75 gallon water heater within two days of  my request.  He coordinated the entire permitting/ inspection process and we passed with flying colors.  Alex communicates every step of the way and is a master at what he does.  Look no further than Alex and WHE for your plumbing and water heater needs.

I rarely review  businesses that provide services like plumbing, electric, or HVAC only because the representatives usually leave me with some sort of PTSD.

However, Alex and his team provide the exact opposite in their delivery of expertise. I put in a request at 2:00am for a non-emergent issue and Alex messaged me at 7:00 informing me he could be out to our place by 8:00 to take a look at replacing our refrigerator valve.

He showed up on time and was able to complete the job the same day! He also did the work for a fraction of the price compared to everyone else's bid I had obtained.

Alex also went above and beyond by evaluating our main water line shut off and informed us that it would be beneficial to have it replaced in the future. He did not, however, pressure us in any way to move forward with the modification.

Showed up in mask and protection booties, practiced COVID precautions

Hired them to install a hot water circulation pump. I received a $1395 bid from a competitor which I immediately turned down and had to pay $49 for that bid. I called water heater experts and they quoted me $600. On the day of the job the pump that I had ordered was not available so I had to pay an extra $100 for a upgraded pump. The technician was on time the communication was perfect the job was completed in less than an hour for the exact amount they quoted and they even threw in a 10% discount. All in all this company was friendly efficient affordable and I appreciate their service.

Great service. Was at my home less than an hour after I called. Explained the plan and the steps needed to get my hot water heater repaired.

I don't usually give reviews. I would like to  recommend Alex and his team for below reasons:
1. Alex and his team are professional with what they are doing. While identifying where the problem is, Alex explained to me what they would do with different issues possible. After figuring out what happened, they were able to fix my problem within 10 mins. It was not a huge trouble, but I would want professional plumbers like them to help me next time if big issues come out.
2. I called them around 630pm on a Friday night, Alex arranged an appointment immediately for the next morning because I wanted it fixed as soon as possible.   I would want my plumber to be accessible and be able to help me as soon as possible.
3. They came in right on time, brought booties and politely asked if I wanted them to use the ones I prepared. I would want my plumber to think thoroughly for me and my house.
WHE would be my first go-to next time when I need plumbing help.

My water heater broke and emptied water all over my basement. What a nightmare.. I called Alex and he came the next day, a Saturday of course, was able to give me options and an estimate for 2 new water heaters. The place to get the water heaters was closed for the weekend so Alex scheduled me for a Monday instillation. He came promptly Monday morning and spent the whole day installing the new heaters. I am very appreciative that he set time aside the very next buisness day to get me back up and running with hot water. He was very professional and did a great job on the instillation. I highly recommend getting in touch with these guys if you have a project or need a replacement. We had a water heater that died overnight. WHE was able to come out the next day and replace the water heater in just an hour after we approved a replacement. These guys are professional, honest, and reliable. After just purchasing a new home, we were overflowing with joy. Unfortunately our water heater was too.

That's when we called WHE. Alex responded promptly and made it to our home within a few hours of contacting him. After several pretty negative experiences with other plumbers, what a gift to have found Alex. I had dealt with another company for this same issue that my garbage disposal was loose & has been leaking under my sink. It took the other company 5 visits to NOT fix or even properly diagnose the issue. Alex not only responded immediately & come out the next day, but he diagnosed the issue within 2 minutes & properly fixed it at a very fair price. Alex is very pleasant to deal with. Will definitely use again & recommend to my neighbors & friends.

This is a fine company. I had a water heater issue, and they were out by the afternoon. Issaied arrived on time, was respectful of my home, and masked. I was trying to make a simple fix by myself on the bathtub and I broke the pipe! It was a new house so I couldn't find the water main and was running around like crazy person trying to figure out how to make the water stop. I got the water stopped and called and spoke to Alex who arrived less than 15 minutes later. He immediately assessed the damage and had it fixed within minutes. I am so grateful for Alex and his company.

Alex went above and beyond with some tricky plumbing issues in our home. He fixed part of the problem, which was a huge pipe leaking in the foundation, but then realized that the job was a lot more involved than he felt comfortable handling, so he didn't charge us at all for the work he did installing a new pipe from our water heater to our kitchen. We appreciated his honesty, professionalism, and hard work. We would definitely hire him again for other plumbing needs. Now we hope to find someone as great as WHE to fix the rest of our plumbing issues!

Had a toilet shutoff valve that was leaking.   I liked the up-front estimate (which they stuck to).  I realize that replacing a shutoff valve is fairly simple, but it WAS done right.   Cost was at a plumber level, not a handyman level, but that is to be expected.  No issues with communication, scheduling, the guy that did the work (Issaid), or the quality of the work.  These days, that's a rarity !   I would definitely use them again.

Woke up this morning to no hot water and a flooded basement.  Grumble.  Contacted 3 other businesses.  Could not help me for four days.  This company answered their phone, gave me an appointment within two hours, showed up in the promised time frame and did an excellent job.  The cost was reasonable and I'm very impressed with the job and workmanship

Came in after an incompetent plumber and got my sink straight. They were on time and  the cost was less than what I was quoted very professional and respectable. This will be my go to plumber.

Had a clogged exhaust for my water heaters. Alex came out the same day, addressed the issue and solved the problem! (The problem was my 5 year old and her desire to see how many wood chips and rocks she could shove in there). The price was extremely reasonable and Alex was great to work with.

My water heater got clogged, still producing hot water but at 1/4 the water pressure. I called WHE, and they were able to come out same day without any add'l fee. Alex diagnosed the problem quickly and offered me multiple options, including fixing it or replacing it. He offered me quotes and provided pros and cons for both, without trying to pressure or influence me one way or the other.  I opted to replace it due to its age.  

They were able to get a tech (Vince) out to install a new heater the next day. Vince did a great job with the work. He was conscientious about keeping my home clean and undamaged as he moved his equipment in and out. His installation was very solid and include more robust items than were there before, including drip pan and proper drainage which the previous installer hadn't included.

Both Alex and Vince were very courteous, and professional. They were forthcoming about everything and great at establishing trust, something important to me when making an expensive purchase on an important item like this. I would definitely recommend this company.

In the middle of the covid lockin, we found the water heater leaking. I called Alex and he popped round as soon as he done with a job, fully prepared with mask, gloves etc. He gave a detailed estimate so there were no surprises later and reviewed all the options. Next day he and a colleague replaced. Punctual, professional, knowledgeable -- everything you would want. He also followed up later to make sure we were happy and to recoat some exterior pipes he'd installed. Couldn't be happier. Will use again.

Alex arrived right when promised for an after-hours plumbing repair.  He cheerfully fixed a problem that was totally my fault. And now I know better than to use those over the counter putties on copper pipe!  It didn't work and Alex had to spend quite a bit of time removing the putty before he could repair the pipe.  He managed to do a tricky job without having to cut any drywall or flooring.  Highly recommended.

Man, Alex has got to be the most consistent guy on the planet!  I have had to call on his services more than I would like to think about in the last few months, (always for a new issue) and each time he has been able to get to me and get the work done in a short period of time.  I can almost rely on him saying, I should be able to make it out to your place in an hour.  Today, I had to have him replace a toilet in the house I just purchased.  He gave me a couple of different options and helped me save some money, doing it the way that worked best for me and fit my budget, and not the way that would have benefited him by putting some extra money in his pocket.  He is always fair, professional and courteous and he does an excellent job. Alex provided the best home repair experience I've ever had. I had a non-emergent under-sink leak in the kitchen. I called in the afternoon and we scheduled an appointment for the next morning. He texted before he arrived and arrived right on time. He diagnosed the problem, took photos and a video to explain it to me, and gave me a firm price. He left to purchase a part and returned right away. While he was solving the original problem, he found others that he could have used to up-sell me. Instead he mitigated them and gave me advice on how to deal with them. He showed me the part he removed and how he had replaced it. His communication was clear and concise. I will definitely use WHE for any future plumbing need.

Alex came out the same morning I called and was extremely helpful and courteous. He diagnosed the problem and gave an estimate of the work. While he could have done the work he suggested we call the manufacturer as it was under warranty and have it done for free. What an honest guy!! We were in a panic with no hot water and to have Alex offer to come out immediately and then to be so helpful speaks volumes to his work ethic. I highly recommend!!

Woke up to an inch of water in my basement, and the water heater spewing water. I called Alex at 8am and he was there by 8:40. He gave me a quote by 9, had an associate there by 10:30 to start draining and removing the old water heater, and returned himself by 11:30 with a new water heater. The job was completed by 2:30pm. Both Alex and his colleague were highly professional and (given the fact I had no time to shop around) seemingly quite reasonably priced ($1750 parts, labor, and top of the line water heater that they delivered).

Alex and team have been fantastic. They have completed two jobs for us, replacing our corroded galvanized water pipes to outside spigots and a broken water heater that flooded our basement.

On a cold October morning, I detected a leak coming from the gas pipes of my circa 1900 home.  I called Xcel, which sent out a technician who confirmed my suspicions, turned off my gas line, and locked my gas meter.

Without gas coming in, I had no heat and no hot water.  Needless to say, I needed help fast.  After reading the reviews on Yelp, I called Water Heater Experts.

Alex came out to my house later that day.  He recognized my predicament, gave me a fair quote for the repair, and worked late into the night to get most of the job done.  He returned the following morning to finish, and I had my gas service restored in no time.

Our sump pump was not working so I contacted a few different plumbers and Alex , from WHE, was the first person to call me back AND he came over the same day to look at the job and give me a quote.  His quote was significantly better the other one I was able to get.  On the scheduled day the worker(s) showed up on time, the work was done quickly, and everything was explained/shown to me.  It was amazing service and I'd hire WHE again, for sure!!

Alex with WHE did maintenance on my water heater and replaced the cartridge on a leaky bathtub faucet. The results are great- he does fast, clean, professional work at a good price. I came home from work and found a flood in my basement because the water heater had broken down and I was fortunate enough to find WHE.
Alex arrived within two hours and stayed until close to 10:00 at night to go to Home Depot to buy a new water heater, install it and remove the old one. He was efficient, positive and walked me through the whole process. I don't know what I would have done. There are too many service providers who say they will do something and fail to come through. SUNDAY PLUMBER!!! Alex from WHE saved the day!!! I'm selling my house, photos on Tuesday and it's being listed on Wednesday. So this was definitely an emergency status!!Have had a lingering plumbing issue in my basement for about 2 months. My plumber flaked on me yesterday and in total desperation at 5 am this morning, I jumped on Yelp and messaged a number of plumbers. He got back to me within a few hours. He was actually the first one to respond. Arrived at 10am. Gave me an estimated quote and time for the job and got to work. The job was finished faster then expected so he deducted an already good price, because the quote was also labor/time based. I'm absolutely blown away at the speed and Sunday service. Sometimes a Five Star rating is suspect -- a friend, an employee or other person providing a fake review to boost ratings that might otherwise be in the drain. Not here.

I needed a hot water heater installed and researched the local Denver area directory for plumbers. I looked at Yelp reviews, at Google, HomeAdvisor and anything else. Reviews are all over the map for the various plumbing contractors who install water heaters. I called a few, and while most were professional (and some never got back with quotes or had an issue with me when I asked about rates, mark ups, permit fees and so on...as if I need to simply accept their estimates as final), I thought the rates were over-the-top.

Basically, I'd already purchased a hot water heater from Home Depot and needed it swapped out with the failing unit I've had for 12 years. One local plumbing outfit got upset when I asked about permit fees ($50 in Denver, I believe) and making sure everything was legit for the city inspector. Turns out this guy marked up pulling the permit to $250, saying it takes time to go get the permits, etc. Well, licensed contractors pull permits from the city on-line. When I called this out, the guy went into a shpeal about having salaries and taxes to pay...the normal costs of any business. So...

Enter WHE, Water Heater Experts. Owner Alex was out of the gates in minutes after I submitted a query on Home Advisor. He was actually on a job but took a few minutes to provide a ball park estimate, which was $300 less than the others I'd spoken with. Later, when he'd finished the day's project, he got back and went over EVERYTHING that could possibly affect the charges.

He went over the basic labor costs, then potential part upgrades since the city has modified the codes the past few years that require additional parts. I knew the lower and upper end cost range, and his candor and eagerness to answer my questions sold me.

Alex and Issaid came out the next day as scheduled and it all went smoothly. No surprises at all. Alex said to meet the revised code I'd need an expander and three new flexible lines for the water and gas. When completed, WHE was spot on within their estimate -- again, a good $300 less than the other figures I was receiving from competitors.

I highly recommend WHE for hot water heater replacement and installation. The installation looks wonderful, performs like it should and they scoured the work space so there was no trash or debris whatsoever. Our water heater was leaking and Alex was able to come to our house within 2 hours of when we called. He was very professional, wore a mask, gloves and shoe coverings. He was able to give us honest info about what our next steps should be. We had to get the water heater replaced and Alex and his co-worker Vince arrived the next day within the time frame they had indicated, completing the job in 3 hours. Vince was great with explaining the installation and how the new water heater worked. WHE plumbing is so prompt, professional, and they did an incredible job! Highly recommend.

Amazing experience with these guys. Had quick availability, good communication, and great service. The other plumber we had out wanted to replace the whole burner assembly for $650, and these guys determined that the filter just needed to be cleaned, costing us $150. Saved $500! And they were certified for warranty service on our water heater, so if any parts were needed they would have just ordered them direct and processed the warranty for us. Can't recommend them enough.

On Saturday morning, I woke up to a leaking water heater and several inches of water in my crawlspace.  Like most folks, I went straight to Yelp and started working from the top of the list.  I spoke to Alex after a couple of failed attempts to get a company to my house that day.  He said he was finishing up a job, but would head over within the hour.

Alex was very quick to diagnose the problem and walked me through all of the steps needed to not only get the job done, but get the job done right.  I won't bore you with the details, but my house is 110 years old and this wasn't your typical water heater replacement.  

Alex begin the project immediately, worked all they way up until 10pm that night and came right back on Sunday.  He is an absolute machine!  It took me very little time to realize he has a relentless work ethic that would put the majority of people to shame.

Water heater stopping heating the water last night, so had to get it fixed quick.  Sadly, we found out that our normal go to (Applewood) doesn't work on Whirlpool hot water heaters.  Called another plumber shop, but they couldn't get here until the next day.  Saw a lot of good reviews for Water Heater Experts Plumbing, so gave them a call.  Alex took my call and was able to come over a couple of hours later.  He showed me the problem, but discovered another minor issue, so fixed both on the spot.  I did appreciate that he explained what was wrong and made sure I understood my options.  Heck, he even told us that the Instant Hot Water Recirculating System we had installed on the top of the water heater 9 years ago was never turned on!  That knowledge in itself was worth what we paid for him.  I'll keep their number on hand for future projects.

We just moved into our first home and were nervous about finding contractors we could trust. Our old water heater was leaking CO2 into the house and we wanted to get it replaced asap. We decided to call WHE after reading all of the positive reviews on Yelp and couldn't be happier with our decision.

If you are looking for a plumber, Alex is your guy! He was able to schedule an appointment on Sunday evening to give a free estimate on the work that needed to be done. From the start, he has been responsive, knowledgeable, professional, and honest. Not to mention just an all around nice guy that you can trust. He worked a long day on Tuesday to help us with multiple issues. He replaced our water heater and lines, repaired our garbage disposal, and replaced our water main.

He noticed that our main had the wrong connector and two different metals were touching that shouldn't be. Sure enough, he opened up the line and it was full of corrosion! - which would have prevented us from being able to shut our main in an emergency, not to mention the potential for a crazy leak from the corrosion in the future.

We are very pleased with our water heater as well. It's quiet, a reputable brand, and the right fit for our needs. A city permit for the repair/re-inspection was pulled, the work was done up to code and for a fair price. He stopped by a few days later to make sure that everything was working well and ended up fixing a new problem with our toilet while he was here. I have his number in my contacts and won't hesitate to call him again for any of our plumbing needs.

I dread calling anyone for repairs as they are usually slow to respond, unprofessional and over the top expensive.  My experience with Alex at WHE Plumbing was nothing but spectacular!  I called WHE Plumbing because my water heater pipe had a leak.  Alex, a Master Plumber, answered the phone immediately and said he could be at my house in an hour. I sent him a photo of my water heater and he called back right away saying he was going to quickly head back to his office to pick up his work truck.  When Alex arrived he was professional, knowledgeable and kind. We had a shutoff valve to our sprinkler system that needed replacement before the freeze. Alex responded as one of the only plumbers that would accommodate our tight schedule.
