Excellent!  What a kind and compassionate guy.  Very accommodating.  Says he actually plans his worker's schedules to accommodate emergencies.  SO SMART!  Shirley Septic let us down twice.  Mountain Drains didn't leave us hanging for days, or hours.  Sent someone the same morning understanding that we only had one bathroom.  His employee didn't even come into the house.  He fixed everything from outside.  Very thorough and complete.  His tech was friendly and knows his stuff.  Not afraid to do whatever had to be done.  Worth EVERY penny!  I'm definitely keeping his card and will use him again. He was recommended by two other septic companies.   Glad there are other options.  GOOD options. Thank you so much!

After writing my last review a few weeks ago, due to quality of work i witnessed, I called them again and had them come back out and replace part of the sewer line from the house to the septic tank that was an issue before we moved in.  Once again, could not speak more highly of both Chis and Danny's professionalism and quality of work.

Bobby did a great job of snaking our bathroom sinks, actually took the time to fix the faucet itself which made a huge difference!  And as a clean freak, am happy to report despite all the junk he had to remove, I couldn't even tell he had been there.  Thank you!!

I called them with a backed up main sewer line. Yeah, it's a problem and I called them on a Monday morning.  I am not expecting a miracle. The guy said he might be able to fit me in that afternoon, but otherwise it would be Wednesday. I get it. It would have been awesome if he could fit me in on a Monday, but I wasn't really expecting it, you know?

What I also wasn't expecting was to never hear from them again. I tried to call Tuesday a few times but their mailbox was full. Left them a message on Wednesday to let them know I had taken care of it because really, I had no idea if they were planning to show up or not.  Still not sure if they were planning on coming out. So I went a rented a snake and did it myself. Probably saved $400 - that's what the second star is for.

Obviously a very busy company. Understood. This area could really use some competition.

I work at a dog kennel and when we had a plumbing emergency we called around for what felt like forever to find someone to come out and help us. These guys responded and came as quickly as they could! They fixed our issue and were very quick and very professional! Every other company said they wouldn't be here until Thursday! IT WAS AN EMERGENCY!!!! Thank god for Mountain Drains, there is no one else I will ever trust with our plumbing!

My wife Jan and I own JJ Madwell's  restaurant in Conifer. For a decade now we have counted on Mountain Drains to keep our business running. Danny and his crew have repeatedly been there for us day and night.  Fair prices and prompt service is what we have come to expect and we have never been disappointed. Thank you Mountain Drains you have been an absolute life saver for us.

They came out to check out issues with my shower, told me I needed a new part and they would order it, and now I can't get in touch with them and it has been three weeks. No clue if they have ordered the part or not or if I should just speak with someone else to do that since they are not responding to any communication I send. Very annoying since my shower is unusable.

Hot Water tank stopped working Friday morning, called Mountain Drains, spoke with Chris and explained the problem.  Chris said he would try to take a look either the same day or the next day at the latest.  He called several hours later and said he was on his way.  Chris was great, he identified the problem, gave us an estimate and had the problem fixed very quickly.  Very fair pricing and quality, professional work.  We will certainly use them anytime we need a plumber in the future.

Our kitchen sink drain was clogged so we called Mountain Drains.  Danny and Schuyler showed up when promised unlike another brand name outfit who promised but didn't deliver.

Both service techs were very friendly and Schuyler took care of our clogged drain in just a few minutes for much less than the brand name outfit.

They also didn't try to scam us into buying unneeded services or parts in sharp contrast to a licensed plumber from yet another better known firm.

Local, competent, trustworthy and fast.  We'll call Mountain Drains first next time!

I had reached out via social media to find a local licensed plumber. Danny at Mountain Drains came up in recommendations several times. I had a blocked kitchen drain. Despite my homeowner handyman skills and snaking the drain 25 feet, the clog still existed.
Danny reached out to me first thing in the morning to get me on the schedule. Despite a looming snowstorm (third one in as many days), Danny came out and fixed the problem.
The drain was blocked at about 60 feet. Not only did Danny free the initial clog, once tested he had to re-snake the drain another 60+ feet a second time that was the trick.
Thanks to Mountain Drains for restoring the use of the kitchen sink and dishwasher.  We will be reaching out to them again for future plumbing needs.

Worst company I have ever had to deal with in this business. Won't waste your time telling you all of the issues because me and my clients have had enough of our time wasted by them for a simple scope! Don't even bother with them just thought the world should know!

I've had water problems for days.  Could not get my past plumber to come out.  I called Mountain Drains late on Wednesday.  They put me on the schedule for Thursday but were playing catch up all day.  Finally called me at 7:30 p.m. asked if they could still come over.  Chris, the fellow who showed up, couldn't have been nicer or more cheerful.  Problem fixed.  They will be my first call from now on when I have a plumbing problem.

Completely unresponsive!!  Business must be booming for these guys because I cant even get a call back on my plumbing issue. Left 3 voice mail messages over the course of a week and not a single call back.  Would hate to have to rely on these guys in an emergency.
I try my best to keep my business local, but these guys do not deserve it.  Called a plumber in Littleton and had service that afternoon.

Had two experiences: one good and on terrible.  Danny & crew cleared a plugged drain a few hours after my call.  It was a little pricey, but fast.  Then I needed a water heater replaced.  I gave Danny the specs and photo of what I had and never heard from him again.  A week after my first contact, I sent him a suggestion for the new heater and got no response.  I ended up replacing the heater myself.

Lucky for me,  I installed a cheap battery powered water alarm near my water heater years ago. That thing finally paid for itself when sewer drain backed up.
I called several local plumbers, but only Danny at Mountain Drain returned my call.
Danny asked me a bunch of purposeful questions, which lead us outside to a very weird and non-code situation. It is clear to me by his line of questioning that this guy has been around plumbing for a long time. Being the owner of the business, his years of experience is clearly evident. Although my drain situation was a new one for him, I could tell he enjoys the investigative challenges that come up in our funky Evergreen area. He had some stories!
Anyway, this guy is a seasoned pro, gave me a quote up front, deduced the problem and then got to it. It's a breath of fresh air to encounter a no-hassel, no-bull professional who is also local. Other folks apparently know Danny's work ethic because his poor cell was ringing non-stop. I whole-heartedly recommend Mountain Drains, especially for weird issues that require some sleuthing!

Very happy with the service! I had a hot water heater leaking and creating a monumental mess. Called a bunch of plumbers and everyone said 2  or more days before they could come and look at it. Chris from Mountain Drains showed up, accessed the problem and went to work. They had the water heater in stock, and it was a good brand not some cheap one from a big box store. Even though it was after regular working hours, Chris stayed and made sure the job was done right. He laid a drop cloth down to protect the carpet , cleaned his mess, made sure everything was in good working order, explained what and why he was doing certain things AND bill was exactly what he quoted to the penny! Thank You mountain Drains and Thank You Chris!

Mountain Drains replaced a a temperature pressure release valve on my hot water heater this past Monday morning. The repairman arrived early and charged me for one hour's labor as estimated. What a relief!... Two days earlier I had scheduled AAA Service Plumbing Heating and Electrical to replace the same part and was quoted $312! When I told AAA's repairman the estimate was too high, he stomped off without even uttering a goodbye.
Postponing the service with Mountain Drains two days saved me almost $200.

I was having an issue with my plumbing. I called around and they were the first company to respond to me. They said that they would be able to come out Monday between 8-5. The guy didn't show up until 430, however he did call an hour before he was going to arrive. When he arrived he took a look at my issue and said that he didn't have the proper tools to do the job. He said that he would be able to come back on Wednesday or Thursday to fix it. Needless to say he never called back and completely blew us off. This was not professional in the slightest and I will not be using this company in the future and I will suggest another company for my friends and neighbors to use.

We had a unique situation- bought a distressed home with major water damage- broken pipes in every room. The banks were a pain in the neck to work with- our closing was delayed for several months, plus our lender required extensive information on the repairs we needed to make, but Mountain Drains was with us every step of the way. Danny provided honest, timely, detailed information for our lenders- starting with an accurate quote prior to buying the house, then John continued to do a terrific job repairing the damage after we finally closed on it. They were always on time and we'd consider them really nice people to work with.
We've turned a soggy fixer-upper into our dream home, and couldn't have done it without the help of Mountain Drains. We'll use them again.

I look forward to using Mountain Drains when I actually have a plumbing problem! We thought our furnace was leaking and it turns out it was a boiler. Mountain Drains doesn't actually work on a boiler, but they requested many other places for us to call. I just respect them so much because they came all the way to our house, when they didn't need to. They didn't charge us for their time and also took a free look at our stinky sink issue we have going on upstairs. He explained to me what was going on and how to fix it! So I really appreciated the free trip and advice! When I have a plumbing issue, I wont call anyone else, other then Mountain Drains. Good looking out!

Chris with Mountain Drains came out to fix a leaky faucet.  He was friendly, courteous and treated my home like his own.  He took care of the repair quickly, and made sure to clean up before he left.  He also wore a company shirt and drove a company truck, so I knew who I was letting in the house.  I would definitely use them again in the future and recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber.

If you want to be jerked around, call Mountain Drains.  I had a well drilled at my cabin and a holding tank put in this summer and needed a full plumbing hookup.  After calling quite a few plumbers, most of which did not call back, I called Danny about 6 weeks before I was ready for the job as i was told that many plumbers were busy and one should schedule ahead of time.  I told him my timeline and what I needed done.  His response was just call when everything is ready and they'll come out and give a quote and would probably start on the same day.  I called again about a month out just to keep him apprised of my timeline and he pretty much said, just call when you're ready.  I called again two weeks out and told him I would be ready for plumbing install the first week of November.  Danny told me to call the Friday before that week (October 28), which I did.  Each time I called he asked again what I needed done and this time was no exception and I told him everything was ready.  He told me to call him back and leave a message on his answering machine with my phone number which I did and told me he would call me on Monday morning to arrange a time to come to the cabin.  No call Monday morning, so I called and left a message Monday afternoon.  Still no call so I called Tuesday morning and left a message.  Still no call, so I gave it one more shot and had to again leave a message.  It is now Friday and I have not gotten a call back.  My distinct impression every time I actually talked to Danny was there would not be a problem, just call when you're ready.  Well, I've been ready and the outhouse is getting mighty cold.  I have arranged for another plumbing company to come in the middle of November.  If I had known Mountain Drains was going to be so unresponsive, I could have had the new' plumbers already scheduled.

My sewer drain was frozen on a weekend. Service was prompt, however paid $200 so they could tell me it was frozen and didn't even remove water from under the furnace. Luckily my handy man came and saved the day and thawed it quickly. Basically mountain drains ripped me off!! Never again and none of my neighbors will use them either.

On three occasions, Mountain Drains has come to work on something in my home.  They generally send the same guy which is nice because he is familiar with the job and with us already.  They are also super nice.  Great company to work with.

I had to use these guys about 4 months ago. I live in the Mountains just 5 miles off of I70, easy access from Denver.  I called numerous plumbers for a kitchen drain clean out. Many had corporate dispatch & pricing was at extortion levels. I thought I would have to sell my kidney or plan to wash dishes in the tub. Everyone wanted heavy trip fees ( I think beer $ for later) as I am only 20m from downtown Golden & 30m from Denver. So after my penalty for living not on top of my neighbor, I scoured the web & found these guys. I got same day service w/o extra fees. The plumber that was sent out was so kind about my use of draino (5 bottles, it was the extra strength should have worked, right?) and the beached towel from the lye in the draino. He never made me feel like an idiot, although after the cost of the draino and his fee I did. The price was around 135.00. Not bad just each bottle was about $10.
Now its friday  &  the toilet in the basement is over flowing when you flushed upstairs (did you need to know this?). My husband being home this time informs me that it either the septic (I was waiting for summer as the snow can be a problem to do this) or the main.
Now I need the main cleaned. So like the idiot I am I called lots of folks including them to save some $$ as I just had the septic cleaned $$$$ (fri & not the problem). Still these guys were the cheapest and will come out on Sat w/o extra fees. While I was calling around they called back just before 5pm to see if I wanted them to come out in the morn. Now thats a company that wants customers and is willing to work for them.
Many of the others I called will not come out here but will go to Central City (gaming town 10min from  here) which is harder to get to. go figure. Or they want heavy trip charges, service fees and the cleaning fee.
Now even though this weekend will end up costing me a mini vacation or a day of golf & dinner for 4, I would have to say that I am happy to be able to flush w confidence.
I say that these guys are your go to people for any plumbing issue. I think my poor bear brain finally got it, GO MOUNTAIN PLUMBING!!!

I have been a customer of Danny's since moving to Conifer from the Front Range about six years ago.  First met Danny when my well pump shot craps in the middle of subzero January and he totally took care of us, even showing up several times during excavation and repairs to make sure everything was ok.  They've helped us with a couple of minor repairs since, one more recently today.  They are the absolute best plumbing company out there.  I would never call anyone else.  Extremely competent and professional.  His staff are friendly and explain/answer any questions you may have.  Thanks again for taking care of us Danny!

I called on a Saturday with an emergency. I called several plumbers in the area and Mountain Drains was the first to call me back, on Sunday. I thought that was a great sign! I explained my situation and the man on the phone said he would send someone out on Monday at 4pm. Well, it is now 6 and no one has called or showed up. How completely unprofessional! I will definitely not be giving them my business in the future and will recommend that my neighbors look elsewhere as well.

I sent Mountain Drains an Online request on Sunday.  Danny called me first thing on Monday and put me on the schedule for Wednesday between 8-12.  Joe showed up at 7:55AM ready to work. Joe completed the work within 2hours; work completed includes- trips to the home improvement store, cutting drywall, and install a new drainage system. Joe vacuum and cleaned up all the messes.  Total cost is $285, a bit more than what I was quoted on the phone (1st hour $39.99 and then $90 per hour after the initial hour).I know the parts cost between $40-$80 at home depot so $285 was definitely higher than quoted but it was a relief for me because a week ago, I had a local plumbing company attempted to fix this same issue and they made it worse.  They broke the old chain from the old drainage system and dropped it in the pipe and couldn't get it out because they didn't have the proper tools that day and didn't' want to drive 1.8miles back to their office in downtown Evergreen to get the proper tools.  They quoted me a $1000 to replace it in addition to the $350 (includes the $50 service charge) that I already paid them to installed a water fixture that I have the parts for.  So YES! I am a FAN of Mountain Drains and will continue to call them for any future plumbing needs. Thank you Joe!

Danny and his crew just completed a complex job for me on some of my Colorado property.  He kept me informed every step of the way.  As an absentee landlord I have dealt with more than my share of unscrupulous workmen.  Danny was a breath of fresh air--more than fair, honest, and went above and beyond what he was asked to do.  I won't hesitate to call Mountain Drains when the need arises.

I have used Mountain Drains on several occasions because they are affordable and do a great job. We live in the mountains and I kept getting ridiculous trip charges added to quotes when I'd phone around with a plumbing issue.  Mountain Drains is very fairly priced. I was most impressed with their service one day when we had a pipe burst in the wall at 3 in the afternoon.  I left messages for 1/2 a dozen plumbers.  Danny was the only person who called back in a timely fashion and agreed to come out that evening and repair the split. He didn't want to leave us without water for the night.  That's going the extra mile!

We shall see.  I have a house full of people and I called them last night around 8 pm and Danny said no one could come at that time and that someone would call and be  here between 10 am to Noon.  It is now 11:37 am and I have not heard from anyone.  The three stars could go up or down.  We shall see when I log back in and update this review.  I am sure everyone is waiting on pins and needles. Well the plumber arrived somewhere between 1:15 - 2:00.  Sorry I was not watching the clock.  He arrived and stated that he did not have the right tool and that he forgot it at the last job.  He stated that I have to go get it.  I asked You are going to get the tool and come right back...right?  His response was that he had to go to Bailey first.  My response was No, no, no you need to go and get the tool and come right back.  I will be calling Danny to discuss this.  He decided that he would go get the tool and come right back.  He did as he said and upon his return it took maybe 15 minutes max and it was fixed.  The cost was $139.00.  Pretty reasonable if he would have made it on time (only one person works on the weekends) and had the proper tool to do the job the first time he got here. I have to move the rating down to Disliked it because it was not Okay service.  Will I use them again?  Maybe if he hires more On Call staff.  Everyone knows that emergencies happen on a weekend with a house full of people!
