Massey Plumbing & Heating

Full disclosure - we did not use Massey - but only because they did not provide the service we needed.  

We had a plumbing emergency (all plumbing issues are emergencies).  We called a few places including Massey.   We had to leave messages for all of them.   ONLY Massey called back and fast.   After they asked me a few questions, they determined they were not equipped to handle our emergency.   Next, they provided a few other plumbers that could handle our needs.  

Great customer service - even thou they were not getting our project.  

If there initial customer service is a sample of the service they would provide - these guys must be great.

Learned today that Matt and his family have moved to Florida.

Matt Massey is not only personable, he's very knowledgeable and professional. We hired him to install a full Aqusana system: water conditioner, whole house water filter, and ultraviolet filter. Not only did he ensure everything was set up perfectly, he took the time to train me on how to change and maintain the system. In addition, he chose to use copper fittings versus the plastic fittings that aquasauna includes; masonry screws to
mount the harnesses to the basement wall; and a bypass valve so we always have a plan b; he's a class act.  We will definitely be using Massey Plumbing for future jobs.

My husband and I had a very good experience with this company. Very professional, prompt, and gets the job done right. I highly recommend Massey Plumbing and Heating. One more thing, they are very clean and do not leave any mess behind. Impressive work.

This is not the Massey Plumbing of old which had good ratings. The original owners have moved and passed their business on. The new company recommended a $2500 replacement of a water heater that only needed to dry out. I put a fan on it for a day and saved that money.

I cannot sing their praises enough!! Hire these guys!  We had Brothers out and had to pay for an estimate, and they wanted to charge us an arm and a leg.  Massey was amazing!  They were earlier than expected, super professional, very nice, did the job quickly and did it right, and to top it all off they even gave us some tips and tricks for other issues around the place and fixed the latch on our screen door just because they're that friendly.  We will hire them for every plumbing job we ever have.  Thank you to Matt and his dad for being trustworthy and upstanding businessmen who really are looking to help people instead of in it just for the $$.

I called Matt and left a voicemail to which he responded a few hours later. He was helpful on the phone thinking about how to repair my hot water heater instead of immediately talking about replacing it. The issue I was experiencing was low hot water pressure

He came out a few days later repair the hot water heater. He was on time, very friendly and fixed the issue quickly. I was so happy to pay for a $170 repair instead of a new $1600 hot water heater. I was totally work with Massey Plumbing and Heating again

We had Matt come over for a badly corroded water heater fitting and he was excellent. Super nice guy, showed up on time and didn't try to make a bigger issue out of it. We actually had him look at something else we didn't originally mention when we set up the appointment and he took care of that too, on the fly. I would highly recommend him and we will definitely call him again, should the need arise.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Massey Plumbing. They came out initially a month ago to try and fix a leak in the tub. Due to the corrosion, they were unable to do so without possibly damaging the fixtures and making the tub unusable. They didn't charge for that service but came out the other day to put in new fixtures in two bathrooms. They were honest, courteous, and told me up front what my costs would be and the amount of time it would take to do the work. They even gave me a recommendation for a handy man for another repair I needed that was not in their realm. They are great!

Highly recommended! Quick response and excellent quality work. Reasonable price, super friendly and professional. I've called them twice and both times they delivered. Matt is in my contacts and the one I will call for any future plumbing needs.

These guys rock. I had them install a gas line for my new gas stove. Not only did they install the line but the stove too. Their quote was exceptional and work was top notch. Highly recommend.

Matt came out last week to install a toilet, faucet, and replace a leaky valve in the basement. They came out to our house on schedule, performed the work quickly, did good work, cleaned up when they were done, and were very friendly and professional.  In addition their rates were very reasonable.  Highly recommended.

Came out assess the problem provided me with options. Very professional and knowledgeable and didn't overpriced.

Matt and his dad came by to change my 27 year old water heater. They were available fast and were on time. They both had an immense amount of knowledge and experience to be able to get us the right water heater. Also for labor and parts they were very fair. I highly recommend Massey Plumbing. They won't let you down.

We needed a new water heater so we shopped around for key contractors. We chose Massey based on other customer recommendations and were not disappointed. They were very professional, installed the new tank in less than 2 hrs and the price was reasonable. We're pleased to support a local contractor that does excellent work.

Matt and his dad just replaced my boiler. It's a huge expense and a big project, so I got quite a few estimates and talked to several folks. Matt was competent, professional, prompt, good with communication, and well priced. I'm very happy with the work they did, and can recommend them with confidence.

Top notch!!  Arrived right on time, went right to work.  Fixed my leaky outdoor faucet for a fair price.  Can't recommend more highly.  I'll not call anyone else again, ever.

I cannot say enough good things about Massey Plumbing & Heating. They deserve the best review possible. I have had a lot of work done on my house and have worked with many plumbing companies in the past- both large and small. Other companies have made my plumbing issues worse and tried to cover up their mistakes and Massey plumbing has come in or talked to me on the phone just to be sure that I was not getting taken advantage of by other companies. Massey plumbing has corrected other plumbing companies mistakes honestly and reliably. I have also had the unfortunate experience of working with large plumbing companies in emergency situations who have quoted me ridiculous prices to fix the simplest things. Once I got in touch with Massey plumbing they became my life line. Even when I need work outside of the scope of what Massey Plumbing and Heating offers they have gone so far as to talk me through on the phone to help me understand what it is I need to know so as not to be taken advantage of by other companies. They have saved me literal thousands of dollars by taking a few minutes out of their day to be sure that I don't get taken advantage of. There is no better service than that.  The work that Massey Plumbing & Heating has done for me has been top notch each and every time. They are extremely knowledgable and have been doing this for many years. I trust them implicitly. Matt Massey and his father are the most honest and reliable guys in the business. Just one example of this is an emergency situation I had late in the day when my main sewer line backed up. I called a large corporate company to cable my line last minute and they wanted to charge me $12,000 to fix the issue. I called Matt Massey immediately to ask about this as this job specifically was not something he does but something he is knowledgable about.  He not only took the time to get back to me immediately and advise me not to pay that amount for the problem but he put me in touch with someone who could come out and help me. My sewer line problem ended up costing me $325 rather than $12,000! I was shocked at how taken advantage I had been in the past before discovering Massey Plumbing & Heating. That is only one of several examples of Massey Plumbing & Heating helping me indirectly in addition to their honest and reliable work. Do not use anyone else. They are truly wonderful.

I've been using the Massey's for ten years and my wife's family had been using them for at least that long before us. Their prices have always been fair and they take care of the problem. I've referred them to a number of friends throughout the years with no problems.

My boyfriend got a quote of $100 over the phone to install shut off valves in the kitchen and bathroom. My boyfriend had to work so I was home when they showed up. The first thing Massey said to me was now I remember why I hate downtown, They should scrap these old buildings We have a condo in an older building in Cap hill area. After looking around he said he couldnt install shut off valves. Our faucet in the shower was leaking so I said to fix it. His assistant put a washer on the handle and charged me $125! I'm wondering how much he would have charged me if he did install the shut off valves? Get a quote in writing.

Came out quickly for a leak in the kitchen sink and fixed it promptly. Then came back and installed our dishwasher and toilet. Very knowledgable and friendly! I honestly don't know how their prices compare but they were recommended to me as a family ran business that does great work- and I would recommend them!!

Finally--a company I trust! I've tried the big name companies and found them (for the most part) more interested in up-selling me on other services. Called an individual plumber and he wanted to sell and install a $90 disposal for $500. (Sent him packing after paying a trip and diagnostic charge.) So I consider myself lucky when I found Massey Plumbing and Heating. They've been out twice to fix problems (leaky sink, a busted disposal and a dying faucet). Their prices are reasonable, they always arrived on time, and they were extremely professional, nice--and neat. With the arrival of cold weather, now I know who to call to do a furnace check. I don't write many reviews, but these guys deserve the 5 stars. You will not be sorry if you use them. I'm sorry I didn't find them sooner.

These guys are the best!  They are fast, clean, timely, respectful and reasonably priced.  Stay away from the big guy companies and call Massey.

Do you want HONEST Contractors!!!! This company is the BEST! Try getting it done cheaper elsewhere! They stand behind everything they do! Give them a try! Will go to them again and again!

They showed up on time and were very nice.  They replaced some fixtures and the job was done very well.  The price was very reasonable and I will definitely call them when I need more work done.
