JD's Plumbing is a locally owned and operated company based in Northglenn Colorado. This company was founded on the principle that honest quality plumbing services should be available and affordable. Too often, when dealing with the larger companies, plumbing costs are inflated and work is performed by technicians with limited experience and often no service ethics. JD's Plumbing Service has been owned and operated by John Dukes since 2012. Mr. Dukes holds a Master Plumbing and Master Mechanical license as well as Nate certification. His Service Manager for the Pluming side - Tony Tapparo holds a Journeyman's plumbing license and has over 24 years experience. The HVAC side of the business is supervised by Scott Visser who is Nate certified as well. The three make up an experienced professional team guaranteed to have the expertise for all your plumbing, heating and cooling issues.

I will always and forever have a soft spot in my heart for JD's. This senior, solo women has not had the best luck in finding service people (particularly since 2020). I've been both financially exploited and literally intimated and harassed because I asked for a mask. JD's to the rescue!!!!
From the special woman answering my initial call to my hero PHILLIP, I was treated with respect and major competence from all I encountered. Thank you PHILLIP for being so wonderful and a terrific plumber. PHILLIP was so patient and kind and competent and on and on and on. JD's plumbing will be my plumbing and HVAC company forever. Highly HIGHLY recommend.

Great service! The technician Adam did a furnace tune-up for us. He also gave detailed notes on the furnace and specific pieces and gave us notice on the pieces that will eventually need to get replaced (he also gave us a deal if we wanted to just replace a couple of pieces at the time of service, but since we declined he put it in our customer's notes so that they can check on the pieces when they come back in the spring).

He was super friendly, professional, and time efficient. He also politely asked for a Google review because of a friendly competition in the office, and while I hate making reviews, it was an easy request because he was super likable and did a great job. Add a tally for Adam!

Tony was great - he listened to my concerns, consulted with options, and went above and beyond to scope/clean drains and improve water pressure with existing shower head. Extra bonus was his sensitivity toward my elderly, anxious pup. The visit wasn't cheap but I'm happy to pay for high quality work.

If I could give them more stars, I would. During an inspection for the sale of our house, we found out we had water under the subfloor in the basement. My husband has already moved for work, so I am alone, and I know nothing about home maintenance and repairs. After calling a restoration service, they immediately called JD's Plumbing. This all started around 2:30. Tony was at our house by 3:30, and by 4:30, both of our sump pumps were replaced and the water was almost gone.

During this event, my (brilliant) cat decided to jump down into the crawlspace where all this water was. She ended up not wanting to come out. John came by to deliver the second sump pump for installation, and he ended up putting down a tarp and crawling down to get her. Of course, with all the water that was down there previously, he came out completely filthy, but he rescued her!

I cannot thank them enough for not only their speedy service and great work, but for also being compassionate during my time of need and helping me get my terrified cat so I didn't have to crawl down there later. They were amazing, and I would definitely use them again. In fact, we need to get our furnace certified, and they said they can absolutely help with that when we need them.

I've used them several times for various straightforward plumbing tasks and have always gotten good service. They arrive on time and usually can come out the same day or the next day. They're careful not to make a mess, and clean up the work area carefully. They charge by the task rather than by the hour, which I think is a good system. They seem expensive compared to plumbers in the little town I moved here from, but they are probably fairly priced for Boulder. My most recent job was to replace two bathroom sink faucets (I supplied the faucets) for which they charged about $550.

I have to say this company has the best customer service, is very thorough and professional with their work and overall good trustworthy people. I had a flood in my condo and Tom has been more than helpful working with my insurance company to make sure everything is explained and covered. Years later, JDs Plumbing is still the most responsive and reliable service I have worked with in Denver. I started working with JDs Plumbing several years ago after I bought my first home. Since then, I have moved and purchased a different house farther south. JDs Plumbing is reliable gets the job done-the right way-the first time. Their plumbers are knowledgeable. Before they start a job, they'll walk you through exactly what they need to do and why. Afterward, they'll tell you exactly what they did and why. Over the years, they've installed a couple of water heaters, a sump pump, RE-piped a few sinks, fixed several pipe leaks, and installed a suite of appliances for me. I highly recommend JDs Plumbing.

I love good customer service and also reasonable prices and JD's delivered both!

Twas the day after Christmas (a Saturday) and we found our sewer backed up... Santa must have clogged the pipes or maybe it was Rudolph?
We yelped plumbers, called JD's, phone was answered on the second ring and literally one hour from the phone call the job was done! We forgot to use the yelp deal we purchased but the price was really reasonable despite that.

Bonus is that if you have further issues with your system within 72 hours, they come fix it for no charge. We did have them come back as the drain furthest back in the house was clogged, but it wasn't due to faulty work.

They communicated well about time frames for service and were courteous and clean. I'll be keeping them on speed dial for future reference!

I called about a clogged shower in my basement.. my appointment was the next day @ 530... the day of my appointment I got a call at 527 saying my technician was running late...he finally showed up around 630..i took him to my basement bathroom..while down there he broke a soap dish that was on my toilet... In the end he did clean my clogged drain with a charge of 218$..

I had water coming down from a tub and destroying the finished basement below. After 2 previous plumbers who could not diagnose and fix the problem, Tony came and quickly and efficiently took out a tile to reveal a hose in the jet system that had come unhooked. Another plumber said the tub had to come out, but Tony fixed the problem and charged what I consider a VERY reasonable fee to do so! Then he asked if he could help with anything else and gave us estimates on some other things, which we will probably have him do. He even climbed into a sump pump pit to check it out (no charge). We have found our permanent plumber!!

I called JDs because the drain in my basement was starting to back up. Brent fixed the issue the same day that I called, and made recommendations for future service. He gave me a lot of good information (and coupons!) and was very courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend JDs Plumbing to anyone in Denver.

Followed JD's Plumbing services and bought the fancy garbage disposal and twice their workmanship failed leaving water across our wood floor and in the cabinet below the sink. We reached out for help and the first time they came the next day. Now it happened again and are waiting to see how quick they return to fix the fact that the garbage disposal literally fell off the bottom of the sink...water everywhere...stay tuned. - Jack

Had Tony and Jon out for a sewage line repair in our basement, they were very professional/knowledgeable and did a great job fixing our crappy situation. They provided excellent insight as to what caused the problem (bad previous design) and why the new solution should prevent future problems. Super fast response and cut their own estimated repair time in half. Also really appreciated their care in keeping the existing mess to a minimum and away from the rest of the house with tarps and shoe covers. Highly recommend!

HIGHLY recommend JD's!

I had just listed my house for sale when my hot water heater broke and started spewing water, less than 24 hours before the open house. I was frantically calling plumbers and couldn't find any that could come out the same day (they were all booked 3-4 days out)! John called me right back and was very understanding of my situation. He managed to get someone out to my house in no time flat and get my water heater replaced. John was upfront about the pricing (which was very competitive) and he even explained the warranty to me.

It's never fun when you have to call a plumber, but John's professionalism and responsiveness gave me peace of mind and kept a broken old water heater from ruining my open house.

I'll definitely call JD's the next time I need any plumbing work done.

Way overcharged me for a shower cartridge! A forty dollar item I could of bought at the hardware store they charged me over $200! Plus $50 for a shower handle. Granted the plumber had to saw off my shower handle since he couldn't get the shower handle off with an allen wrench but that took only 5 minutes. This was not a labor extensive job. All together they charged me $324. Given the plumber was competent and got the job done I feel like I was way taken advantage of.

Called on a Saturday around 1pm with a minor emergency. I was told a technician could be at my house between 2 and 4. They called at 2 and said they were on their way...arrived around 3.

John S, and Steve were friendly, professional, and respectful of our home. They didn't seem to mind explaining everything to me. They meticulously replaced our two main water line valves and the pressure relief valve. I had also noticed just that morning that my sprinkler valve was misbehaving so they replaced that too. Prices were fair, and work was done right and quickly too. They even checked my work on a valve I had replaced and tightened it on their way out.

Overall, I typically dislike having to deal with plumbers and rarely leave positive reviews but this was a good experience and I will definitely recommend and reuse JD's in the future.

I called John, of JD's Plumbing on a Saturday afternoon, after the hot-water pipe under the bathroom sink blew-out. John was able to contact his tech, Jimmy, who came right out, at the end of his day and fixed the pipe just in time for our guests to arrive and for Jimmy to get to his grandfather's birthday dinner! He did not have to come out - his day was over. But he did and he figured out the problem and the solution immediately. He was friendly, knowledgeable and honest. I would recommend JD's Plumbing any day!

So it was a do it your self project gone bad. We woke up in the morning with our bedroom bathroom shower leaking. How hard could it be, I asked? As it turned out, our shower was a 1960s piece of junk. After several hours of messing with it, and trips to two different homes stores, I gave up and tried to reinstall the old hardware as a quick fix.shortly thereafter, the shower fixture started spewing water everywhere, down into the walls of our house. After quickly shutting off the main water, I called JDs plumbing. Such a great experience from beginning to end. The receptionist was extremely nice, and summoned a likewise nice plumber to my house within 15 minutes. He fixed the faucet within three hours of my own misguided attempts. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone, the professionalism and rapidity warrants five stars.

John is great! Our pipes froze and initially he said he couldn't get there till 6 p.m. (it was 10 below the night before, and I'm guessing like every other plumber, he was crazy busy). He told us he'd try to get there sooner if he could and would call. How many times have you heard that and it never happens?

Well, John called later and said he could be there at 12:15. When he got there, our pipes had unfrozen. He showed my wife where we needed to keep a door open to get warmer air into a crawlspace. When I asked my wife how much the service call cost, she said NOTHING. How many plumbers would come out to your house and do that?

John also installed a new toilet in our house, and was professional and gave us a price that absolutely destroyed the price one of the bigger chains offered.

John is professional, reliable and a great plumber to work with! I couldn't recommend him more highly!

So incredibly pleased by my experience with JD's Plumbing Service! My master shower hasn't had any hot water for several weeks now. I travel every week for work, so this has been a backburner/non-emergency service needed that I've been dreading. Finally, I had a few days at home, and called JD's at 8:30AM on a Monday. The owner, John- incredibly friendly and personable, answered and said they could have someone to my house between 11AM-2PM, and that they would call ahead within 30 minutes of arrival. A woman called me back at 11:30AM and let me know that Matt would be arriving within 30-45 minutes. Sure enough, Matt and the owner John arrived at 12:10PM, right at the 40 minute mark. They were both incredibly kind, respectful and thorough in explaining to me (a single woman) what was wrong with my shower. Never did I feel gauged or taken advantage of. They told me the cost upfront- before starting their work- and explained what they would have to do to fix it. They went above and beyond my expectations, even fixing a floppy sink faucet at no cost. Great experience with JDs and highly recommend. We have been loyal Brothers customers for years but their pricing is extremely high despite good work. Found John's company via Angie's list and it was very highly rated so gave him a try to fix a broken outdoor faucet. He came out on a holiday (4th of July) at no extra charge, called and came earlier than promised, did the job expertly in about an hour and less than half the price quoted by B's. Of note, John formerly worked for Brothers and left to start his own business. Recommend you give him a try and you'll be happy you did!

Had over $5k worth of work performed to include replacing a hot water heater, replacing leaking valves, and correcting the routing of a drainage pipe that ran from one side of my home to the other. Tony and his apprentice Lucas did everything in their proposal and more, to include helping me with rebuilding the cabinet under one of my sinks that were damaged by a leaking valve. We needed to get our sink, garbage disposal and dishwasher put back together. He did a good job, but I think our technician was having a bad day because we didn't get a great attitude from him. I felt like the project was a burden when he needed to go to the store to buy additional materials. Although, the job was done fine, I won't be calling in the future. Way over priced to install dishwasher, sink and garbage disposal...even our insurance said we were over priced. I'm not a big fan of the $25 trip fee to do an estimate. No free estimate.

Called JDs based off of a friend's recommendation. The employees were extremely friendly and courteous, did a phenomenal job, and even drove out of their way to the hardware store to get a drain cap to replace the worn down one that was in place. I would absolutely call them again and recommend them to anyone. Pricing was totally fair as well. I don't often take time to write reviews, but this is a great local business you should support.

Need a plumber? This guy is among the best! John Dukes, Master Plumber, and owner of JD's Plumbing Service, just saved us many thousands of dollars, which we very nearly spent on replacing our main sewer and water lines. John squeezed us into his schedule today (Saturday) to give us a second opinion on an extremely costly job that another company tried to hoodwink us into doing. Thanks to this skillful and honest guy, we discovered that all the work we were told was urgently needed, was actually absolutely unnecessary, contrary to the company (Eco Plumbing) that was trying to pressure us into extensive repairs on perfectly good water and sewer lines! John came out and did an extensive and thorough clean-out of the sewer line, and a camera/video scoping of the entire line before and after, leaving us with a dvd of the whole line all the way to the street. John was honest, thorough, informative, professional, and clearly knows his way around all things plumbing! I very highly recommend him!!!!!

John was our plumber for a complete kitchen remodel. Not only was his work excellent, but he was friendly, on time and clearly a master of his trade. His bid was also about $1000 less than the two other plumbers who bid the job. We are acting as our own contractors and had to pull our own permits. John also installed a gas line for our new gas range top and because it was a new line we had to submit a gas plan to the city. We had no idea how to complete this very complex drawing that has all kinds of math, schematics and measurements involved so we called John to ask for help. He came to our house in the evening, measured all our gas lines, crunched some numbers and drew up a plan and we submitted it to the city. It passed without issue and when we offered to pay him for his time, he declined. It's clear to me that John doesn't just care about getting work, he cares about the customer. He's honest, trustworthy and his prices are very competitive. I will never call another plumber when I have a need.

found them on angle's list. great reviews and now i know why.needed drainage work, water pressure, and general advice. was the first time I had them out. punctual, looked at other issues I had. I'd definitely use them again.
