Jay installed three new ceiling fans for us, and also took care of some other electrical issues. We have used him twice now. His rates have gone up for the first time in years, but his overall charge for the work he did was still reasonable. He is professional, courteous and a great problem solver.

Receptionist who took my call was totally rude and condescending. I hope their electrical work is much better than their phone customer service. I'm only rating that because I did not get past the major B at the front desk.

We had an issue with our microwave outlet. Called three electricians. Two never returned our call. Jay came out on his day off and fixed our problem quickly. We felt his rates were very reasonable and will call him again with any electrical issues.

I called An Electrician based on reviews stating good rate.  I FAILED to ask their hourly rate.  They're a family run business, and since the going rate for electricians is $50 to $60 an hour, I figured it would be about $50.  I had a small issue.  I just wanted a couple wires check at the electrical box because they appeared warm.  I was told they would swing by after their last job, on their way home at 4:00.  After 6:00, he arrived, took a few minutes to check the two wires, which were fine, and charged me $115!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   $115 is NOT a good rate!  I don't think any other electrician on the planet charges $115!  People, there are great electricians out there, and they don't take you for all your money!  These good, honest electricians charge $50 to $60 an hour.  An Electrician charges $115 an hour.  You choose.

We live in an old house and were understandingly concerned when the lights started to flicker.  Jay showed up at our house in the evening and stayed until the problem was taken care of.  His price was really reasonable.  We would definitely call him again!

I had an emergency issue come up and called An Electrician based on the recommendation of our appliance repairman.  I called at about 1pm and Jay came over at about 4:30 and fixed the problem within an hour.  Very happy that he was able to fix it so quickly and we now have a stove that works and is not a fire hazard.  Thanks!!

Jay, of An Electrician is a great guy as well as a Master Electrician.  There are plenty of companies to do electrical work.   I will always call 'An electrician' because I trust him and he knows the best way to deal with my 90 year old house safely and legally on my budget.
