Founded in Sacramento in 1947 by Del Beutler as a sheet metal shop, Villara has seen many changes over the years. Beginning as Beutler Sheet Metal, we evolved to Beutler Heating & Air, then Beutler Corporation, and now Villara. We still do sheet metal, but we've also added a number of other trades to the mix, including Solar PV and Thermal systems, low voltage and home automation systems. We now even manufacture air conditioners and unique control systems, like AquaChill, ZTE zoning and SmartVent systems.

I had my hvac serviced on a 6 year old unit. They said that it needed all these addon's which came to $900. Be careful you don't get talked in something you don't need.
I have an annual check up on our heating and cooling system. Rogelio and Renato came out today to inspect the units and discovered a faulty valve in the AC had created a slow leak in the fluid. They were able to replace it and recharge the unit all while on-site. I appreciate this annual check up they do as it keeps the units operating well. Both were professional and courteous.
Mark Rhoades was amazing! It was 100 degrees here in Folsom and when I came home from work I turned on the air and the thermostat went blank! I had no idea how to fix this. I called Villara Building Systems and got Ben at the answering service. He took down my issues and said he would report it and that someone would be calling me back tonight. Thirty minutes later I received a call from Mark. He was on his way down from El Dorado Hills and would be here within 45 minutes. He got here in 20 minutes. He was able to diagnose the system, climb in the attic and fix the short within 30 minutes. He was so pleasant and kind, good with my granddaughter and my barking dog. This man deserves a raise. He was efficient, pleasant to deal with and explained everything he was doing along the way. The best part is, I can sleep in the cool air tonight. Thank you Mark!

Kao Saelee and Raul Ibarra from Villara came out today to look at my AC unit because it has been making a loud sound and is not operating properly. As soon as I turned on the AC they immediately identified the issue and explain to me how the unit worked and how the condenser works with the unit. They were both extremely educational and I really appreciated that. They explained to me everything they were doing and told me what the cost would be. They were very understanding and knowledgeable in their job and fix the problem so fast! All right very much appreciated their professionalism and how quickly they got out here from when I made the initial appointment! Great service keep up the good work! These guys are great employees!

Aurelio came on time and fixed the issue promptly.
We have a Smart Vent that came with our home, and it started going bad after 2 years. The system didn't really say much other than outdoor sensor error. I don't have an manuals and there isn't an online store for parts. Issue was the board that measures temp and communicates with the thermostat was fried. I find it incredibly fishy that the company doesn't really have serviceable parts online.
Anyhow, Aurelio found the issue immediately and offered to fix it, with a new board worth $1k. He also inspected our HVAC system for free and suggested some maintenance work(freon, capacitor) that was needed with the system. We agreed and the whole thing was done for $2k promptly.
All in all Aurelio is a standup guy, not really sure about Villara
We just installed residential solar through Villara and are super happy with the result. Michelle Millard was a great sales person, thorough, patient, answered a ton of questions and helped the process the whole way through to the end. We were told that with our small roof it would be nearly impossible to get 6 panels up on our roof and get our very tough local building dept and inspectors to approve the 6 panels. They creatively found a way to get 7 panels up there, and sailed through the planning dept and the inspection was quick and easy. Their pricing was far better than the other companies I talked to, which was also a selling point. They were very easy to work with and got the job done fast.
I initially gave Villara Plumbing 1 star because the CSR's and Plumbing manager could not seem to get it together or return my calls. Going forward, Villara has corrected all the problems we had and the technicians they sent were polite, well skilled, and very accommodation. Thank you for finishing strong.
I had a clog in my drain to my dishwasher and they came on time and professional and found the issue almost immediately. They were very reasonably priced and I will use them for my future plumbing needs anytime!

Rogelio from Villara came for an annual inspection and identified a few failing parts that needed to be replaced. He ordered the parts and came back today to install them. Great relief to know that my HVAC will not fail in the middle of our first heat wave next year. Much appreciated, Rogelio!

2 Stars for the installation - We have a new construction house which had Villara installed the HVAC system. The furnace was not connected when we first move in. The exhaust fan unit fell out (it was not installed correctly and not even screwed. This fan unit is about 2lb metal and directly above the toilet. My family could get really hurt badly). The compressor unit outside of the house was making loud noises due to loose screw/panel, etc. You get my point. Whoever installed the system did it with a rush at the end and did not validate end-to-end functionality properly.
5 Stars for the follow-up technician - Juan C. was sent to us on 09/01/2021. He quickly diagnosed all the issues and resolved all of them with a swift. He answered all my questions and concerns about HVAC system install, and also provided some tips on using the system in our house more efficiently. He was professional and friendly. I'd call him up for future HVAC issues if I can.
Our thermostat stopped working and Aurelio from villara troubleshooted and replaced the thermostat in short time . The service and support was great.

Aurelio came today and did a maintenance check on our hvac system. He was very helpful and explained on what we needed to get done. His explanation was simple for me to understand and he didn't try to guilt me into doing it asap, but mentioned how it should be done soon. He even helped me out with a toilet issue. Luckily it was a water pressure problem that only needed to be increased with the turn of the handle on the wall. Silly me. Very thankful for Villara. Thanks Aurelio!!

Aurelio showed up, and fixed the issue my AC unit was having as expected from a technician. He delivered above those expectations in being timely, in being crystal clear with the information provided, in his patience answering my numerous questions, and in being respectful and caring more than a stranger I just met.
I've found new respect and appreciation for the company he works for by how he hasdled himself and his work. So much so, that I felt I needed to meet that with at least these words of public acknowledgement. Kudos to you, Aurelio.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a service provider. Bought a new construction house. Villara had installed the HVAC system. Moved in in December and realized the house wasn't heating. The furnace would run, but no air flow was received in the rooms. Villara came out and said everything was working to spec. Since I knew it was unacceptable, I called another HVAC company at my own expense to have the system inspected. The tech said that the system was undersized for the house, and was a single-stage system that should not have been used in a two-zone configuration. The reason that there was no airflow was because the zone dampers were wired wrong and had shorted out. Villara was scheduled to rewire the dampers. They didn't show up for their appointment. We got rescheduled and they fixed the dampers. Then they said that the condensate drain was not piped properly, so they needed to repipe it. We made an appointment and the guys showed up and said they didn't have the right parts. Another appointment scheduled and they fixed the pipe. Then the guy said there wasn't enough airflow to one of the rooms so they would need to install some dampers. Ordered parts, made another appointment and when they didn't show up, I called and they said sorry it was because of a computer glitch. I have another appointment on Monday which will hopefully be the last time I ever see them again.
Most people can't choose the HVAC installer in new construction. If you are looking for new construction in NorCal, ask who is installing the HVAC and if it's Villara, run, don't walk to the nearest exit. This company has ruined our enjoyment of our brand new house and wasted many hours of my time.
Monil did a great and thorough job in resolving AC issue in my house. He was awesome; went the extra mile and explained what he was doing while working on AC. What a relief to get AC running again especially in this summer heat.

Villara was the sub-contractor for the HVAC system in my new ROSEVILLE home. I have called twice for service related items. Ryan, the service tech, came out both times. Never received a call from company after filling out a contact form online.

Although I am in the HVAC business and work at Villara I still have Villara do my mothers maintenance and all year long I get to hear how polite, kind and complete Shawn and the rest of the team are.

I don't recommend this company for new construction houses. I installed my electrical box switches where the electrical plan had shown but Villara plumber workers ripped off all of my electrical boxes where it was in their way. That is highly unprofessional, rude, and selfish for a company to make another trades work harder. The plumbing is all over the place which made it hard for us to install our led housing can lights in the house.
I requested an AC/Heating diagnostics and had some work completed on my home unit. I had been having some problems with my unit for years, and no one could figure it out. Well, I'm overjoyed that I called Villara. I'm even happier that they sent out their best, brightest, and most professional technicians-Ryan, Landon, and Elisiar. I had little hope of success at first, but these three came in, showed me a price list of all services, and ensured I would not be over-charged for anything. They were cautious in my home and showed their in-depth checklist of what they would do. I was put at ease from the word go, and when they finished, my system was working like new and had stopped shutting off after 7-8 minutes, as it had been for the last four years. Thank goodness I don't have to be cold at night anymore in the winter and hot during the day during the summer. Villara is the only AC/Heating company I'll ever use, and you should too. If you're lucky, you'll get the cream of the crop at your front door: Ryan, Landon, and Elisiar. Villara, these three guys represented you well. They deserve a massive pat on the back. They've earned you another lifelong customer and I'll be spreading the word about my experience throughout my new subdivision and beyond.

Aurelio and Eddie are very experienced technicians. They knew exactly the issue of our furnace once they saw the signal code and leaking. They both climbed up to the attic, no complaints at all up and downstairs lots of times trying to figure out what's caused the leaking. They are professional and got our issue resolved within an hour. We are so happy to select Villara as our service provider this time!
I am updating my review and want to say thank you to Business Manager Landon and customer service support Dale for addressing my concern right away and making it right.
Aurelio was professional, prompt and very informative. He took time to explain the issues and the work needed to resolve each problem. He went over and beyond to make sure our air conditioner and vents were functioning properly.
We bought a new construction home from TNHC 3 years ago. From the get go the smart vent has never even been worth turning on. We had a technician come out shortly after the home was
Finished being built, thinking the vent was broken. But, no, it just doesn't really do anything. Now the AC unit is broke and will cost $3000-$5000 to repair! Should not be having this problem in a new construction house after three years. Only reason for two stars is the technicians were nice.

I normally don't write reviews but this situation deserves one. On Tuesday 9/6/22, we had record breaking heat, 115 degrees and our A/C went out. I called Villara in tears and they were able to get someone out the very next morning. JR came to our house early Wednesday morning and was able to fix the issue. He also explained to my husband what happened and offered to install some extra protection so it doesn't happen again.
I cannot thank JR and Villara enough for all they did.
I highly recommend this company for any HVAC issues or maintenance.
We received an error alert on our damper display and called to have it looked at. Aurelio came by and was able to identify the issue and fix right away. He was so helpful and provided us with a lot of good information on when to keep the damper open and closed. He set it up so the system automatically opens and closes at the right time. Great service...we are highly satisfied customers!
Villara installed the HVAC systems for our housing development in Lodi, and we decided to subscribe to their maintenance plan. They have been good to deal with. During last summer's unprecedented heat, a technician came out on short notice to make a very effective upgrade to our air conditioning unit. On a recent annual tune-up visit, technician Adan Nuñez was efficient and friendly and even made a tweak to our air duct grilles that helped with some of our heat distribution concerns. Adan's professionalism was exemplary, but his colleagues that have called on us before have been almost as good...its a quality team overall.

The technician Mofru is good and completed the work on time but the charge is expensive.
Mr. Morufu from Villara came to check my air con because it 's not working and he is courteous and arrived on time. He is very knowledgeable and well skilled and stayed in my house until the air condition is working well. He also explained very well the Villarra maintenance services. I would greatly recommend him is very helpful with a kind, respectful attitude.
Our AC quit providing cool air to our house during the hottest time of the year in Lincoln, CA. We called Villara the next morning but got the answering service. They took a message and said that I would receive a return call from Villara Building Services. I was very pleased that I got a call-back within two hours and was scheduled a repair technician within 48 hours. The day of service Ryan and Mustafa was very prompt and even arrived earlier than the scheduled time. They were very courteous and even brought booties to enter the house which made my wife very happy! Ryan and Mustafa were very professional and efficient in diagnosing the problem. They explained clearly the HVAC cooling cycle. The unit's capacitor stopped working. They also recommended installing a kick starter to alleviate stresses on the unit. They installed the parts and washed the unit within a couple of hours. The cost for the repairs was fair and reasonable. The unit is now working and cooling the house! I recommend Villara Building Systems for your home HVAC maintenance and repairs and kudos to Ryan and Mustafa.
Called Villara about an A/C issue that was under warranty with my homebuilder. Skeptical at first but I had a real issue on a day that was well in the 100s. Called the office in the morning and the same day Aurelio showed up to diagnosed the problem. He was professional, super friendly and most importantly knew his stuff. Aurelio diagnosed and located the source of the issue. Then to my surprise he had everything in his truck to fix it. He contacted a colleague Dino to assist in my claim and eventually help in the attic.
By the time they left everything was in working order and the AC was at its peak performance. They even cleaned up after themselves. These guys know the lost art of customer service and I recommend Aurelio and Dino of Villara for your AC maintenance and repair!!!

Winter is over and the weather has turned hot, the last thing you want to find out is your new air conditioning system is blowing room-temperature air! Yikes, I contacted Villara since they did my original install to my disappointment when I first contacted them they informed me that my warranty window had just passed.
Anyways they set up an appointment and came out to see me pretty quickly. They came out and performed some very thorough testing and informed me that I had a refrigerant leak. After some pretty high initial estimates, Villara reached out to me to let me know that because the unit had been leaking while it was still under warranty they were going to cover the repairs. They patched up the leaks, filled my refrigerant, and gave me advice on how to keep my system purring.
The customer service was excellent and I would do business with them in the future.

This review is primarily for Aurelio. I am skeptical of Villara Systems as a company since their installed AC units breakdown so easily after a few years. Luckily, they have a great technical like Aurelio to help improve their reviews.
Aurelio is a great technician! He arrived on time and is extremely polite and patience. He spend time describing the issue and offering solutions to help maintain the AC unit longer. I admire his work ethnic. He has outstanding customer service given this day and age. If you have to call Villara, I would recommend asking for Aurelio.

It is a new home and little over 2 years and they installed heating and ac. It started having trouble after 1 year and got a service and it is not working again. Not happy with customer service too.
Its 110° and our AC stopped working. Aurelio from Villara arrived and saved the day! Aurelio gave us a few cost saving options and genuinely wanted us to save as much money as possible for a potentially expensive service. He was punctual with the appointment time. Overall great customer service.
Our new construction build had Villara install the HVAC. The unit stopped blowing air, I called the company and they sent a tech out within a few hours.
The tech (Adan) was friendly and efficient. He found the blower motor had stopped working. He went above and beyond finding the part in a new build nearby so we didn't have to wait for the part to come in.
Wonderful service all around. Thank you to the great techs that provided fast and above/beyond service.
TI was having quite a few issues with my AC and villara home warranty department wasnt helping much. Landon G reached out to me to resolve the issue and within a couple of hours Ray (one of their senior technicians) came and fixed the issue. Thanks Landon for the prompt response.
Appointment made to repair coil is AC on Monday 10th with Villara for Saturday August 15th 8am-12pm. Today at 11:40am called to see where the service person was and was told they do not see my appointment on their system now. After they spoke with a supervisor I was told the earliest they could get to me now is next Tuesday,
Poor Form Villara! Lets hope you can make it on Tuesday and my appointment doesn't disappear again?
Service request with Kao S. was great - arrived on time and fixed the zone switching issue.
Ask for AURELIO!!! He came in at 11:15am and had my AC fixed/up and running within 30min. (Immediately diagnosed the issue) Even after fixing the unit, he recommended temperatures to keep my house cool in the summer and warm in the winter. He also gave me advice on replacing filters every 3 months! Great job!
The customer service is horrible. My builder used them for the HVAC system and I've made sure to let them know the kind of company they chose. When the AC unit was not performing to code initially, they were friendly and came right out. When i called because the unit stopped working, they said they'd schedule someone the next day, then when they pulled up the account, they told me it would be at least a few days because I was out of warrantee. They only give good customer service in warrantee periods apparently. I explained that I have three children and an elderly parent living with me and the weather was over 90. The rep said it's their policy to only give preference to customers under warrantee. I called another company and had my AC back on within hours.

I joined their club and used their annual maintenance service for air conditioner and heating. The service is great. The most important, you don't need to worry about the price.
I strongly recommend their service.
I have a home with a night breeze system installed when it was built and part of the system Villara sold to Meritage Homes. When I contacted Villara because the night breeze system was not working, they sent a technician and who needed to search for a leak, extra $300, oh, leak found, $3500 to fix that, and then when addressing the final issue of upgrading the night breeze system, $2300 for that, I was floored at the cost. The only reason I had them come in was my neighbor called them, they came in and charted $1200 for the upgrade of the night breeze. Really feel I'm being fleeced and extremely disappointed by this companies business practices. Really not sure why the cost double for me with the night breeze upgrade.

Resolved my AC issue when a previous tech could not. Previous service said the A/C unit was drawing too much amperage and Tripping the breaker. This was not the issue. Villara fixed it was a wiring issue in the electrical panel. Issue is fixed but wasn't cheap $600

Villara Building Systems was hired by Lennar, the clowns who built my house three years ago, to install the HVAC system. I have had one problem after another with this brand new house, involving poorly installed toilets, flooring, shower doors, access doors, and other items. But the real topper is the HVAC system. I have had to have problems fixed FOUR times when the system quit on each of those occasions. This last one cost me $1500.00, even though the parts were UNDER WARRANTY! Villara installed an HVAC system their tech just told me might have been wrecked by something as simple as spider or other bug getting into the OUTDOOR A/C unit and causing a spark that travels to the unit in the attic and causes the control panel to basically blow out, causing $1500 in damage. If this were not so costly it would be hilarious. Previous to this, the tech told me that the reason my system quit is because it was installed wrong. Prior to that, the tech told me that the A/C unit had almost NO COOLANT in it, apparently because of a leak; he said he had never seen a unit that was in such a condition. I find it ridiculous that a brand new house has experienced so many problems in just over three years. The whole reason I bought a new house was to AVOID expensive repairs, but this house has been a nightmare. No wonder Lennar only warrants their homes for one year. And the same goes for Villara. Avoid these people at all costs. What a joke!
Our a/c was down. Villara responded in one day. Nick was the technician that worked on the system. He was amazingly efficient with his diagnosis and repair of the system. He was very professional and personable. I'll Ada is lucky to have him as a representative of their company. I was very satisfied with the experience.

We have never made it a year without a broken AC in a new house and system that was installed by them. Never less than a week to get a tech out and they have yet to resolve the issue. Update, this Yelp got them out the next day. Their solution was to try selling me a new system. The existing one has never operated correctly and they have never managed to identify (until this review) the issue from nor repair it. Their solution is to charge me to fix their screwup. At last contact (7 days ago) they were going to see what they could do for me and have not followed up.
Totally impressed with the two employees Villara Building Systems sent to do my year-end inspection and resolve a plumbing issue for the new home I purchased and moved into September 2020. To be honest, I had never heard of this Company. But the Builder in this area uses them extensively for HVAC and Plumbing installations. As it turns out, Villara offers a wide range of building services from heating and cooling to plumbing and solar installations, for both residential and commercial properties in Northern and Central California. For this past year, I have seen their many trucks and vans all over the new community. Now I have had an up-close and personal experience with two of their employees.
Both Anthony and Josh showed up on the appointed day and time! On time I might add. Both were professional, masked and booties in hand. That made me very happy. Anthony was here for draining the tankless water system, checking the entire HVAC system (That included going up in the attic, working the thermostat for proper function and inspecting the A/C unit in the backyard.). He went right to work. I asked a few questions along the way which he answered to my satisfaction and never appeared bothered by me asking. At the end of the visit, he performed all the tasks and even lowered the noise from my outside A/C unit which I just thought was normal. That was fabulous. And because of the confidence I had with Anthony, I did end up purchasing a reasonably priced maintenance contract for annual checks/and other issues that may occur. Thank you, Anthony, for everything.
Josh came later in the day and again, right on time! I was really looking forward to his visit. My bathroom sink (one of two) I use the most had not been draining properly the last few months. I had attempted to pull the stopper, or whatever you call it, from the drain in the sink but could not get it out. So whatever buildup was down there I could not get. Josh confirmed my belief that no one could pull that stopper out. However, he went under the sink and fixed it immediately. Yayyyyy! He also continued to use a type of plumbing tool to pull out all the collected hair, etc., that was causing the blockage. Even though this was his last stop and he had to be looking forward to going home...he patiently fixed the other 3 stoppers, checked the shower drain and kitchen sink drain. This guy totally rocks! He also told me to combine baking soda/distilled vinegar and flush the drains monthly. Thanks, Josh!
Another plus for this Company is a customer satisfaction survey I received by email asking for input/comments regarding the two employees. To me, that says it all. They want to know if you are a happy camper. None of the other companies who sent workers to my house followed up in any way. So kudos to you Villara.

My A/C wasn't blowing cold air. The service person, Kao, was prompt and explained the issue. He repaired it within the service time. He offered to take care of my maintenance service when needed since he was familiar with my property. I'm happy with the service and I will call Villara again.
Our AC stopped working last September and Morufu came out to investigate. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a Freon leak and even helped clean out the AC while he filled up the Freon. We're very happy with the service we received, and would definitely call Villara in the future for help with our AC.
Villara maintains our building's systems in Serrano - my first time consciously working with them and I am impressed. A tech was out and working on our failed heating system within 10 minutes of my call - and got us back to having heat within 30.

Had several blown fuses in the furnace, and was not able to identify the problem by my self. So I called Villara for help and they sent JR to me. JR quickly find the problem comes from the AC, and replace the broken conductor to fix the issue. The whole process takes less than one hour, really fast! The price is reasonable under the current inflation.

When I bought my new home, they were the one who installed my new A/C system .. I tried contacting them about warranties to fix my A/C who's Temperature return from the grill is about 10 Degrees, not 15-20 required..MY A/C tech stated that it could be the lack of freon from Villara, was no signs of Leaks and etc ...A/C tech told me to contact the builder which I did, told me to contact Villara and no response from them.
My next new home, I would try to find out if Villara installed the A/C system and not buy it if they did and I am pretty sure 100% sure I ain't buying a new or old Lennar home again. Villara installed system has been a problem for this community and seems like everyone has problems year in and year out, I won't be surprised if the work they did is not up to code!
I know now why they have to change corporate name a few times, so shady

Aurelio performed the annual (preventative) maintenance service (aka tune up) on my HVAC system today. He was great! He took the time to explain my system (A/C, whole house fan-Smart Vent- and the furnace). I ask a lot of questions and he patiently answered them all! I chose Villara for the annual maintenance since they installed the system (new construction in 2019) and I used Villara at a previous home too. I know they know my system. I recommend both Villara and Aurelio!
Had our Villara smart vent system reading an error message. Aurelio and Eddie came out and diagnosed the problem. They explained thoroughly what was wrong and had the part to repair the failure on hand. Overall great experience. Would recommend. Thanks guys.
We have had other companies come out and try to fix our Aqua Chill air conditioner (an evaporative cooler/regular AC hybrid) All of them failed miserably. Villara sent Mustafa and Ron out. Not only did they service our Aqua Chill AC professionally and ACCURATELY, their pricing was fair and reasonable. I would recommend Villara to anyone who needed quality work done at a fair price!

Called Villara to fix an HVAC issue. Was told by another contractor I would need a new condensate pump. I called Villara and asked them to bring a pump to replace it. Turns out all it needed was a shorted wire replaced. Very helpful honest representative that had a green light to overcharge me , but didn't. Highly recommend them.
It was nice to gave Aurelio come to fix our AC. He arrived on time, found the root cause shortly and provided solution. We appreciate his professionalism and patience to answer the questions!

We were having water coming out of our secondary drain( not a good thing). Called Villara and Aurelio was the technician that came to take a look at the issue. Come to find out we had billions of ants in the drain system. He cleaned it out for us and replaced the part that the ants damaged. Very knowledgeable guy and very informative on what's going on with the system. Highly recommend, thank you!!

Quick response. Polite and diagnosed the problem within 30 minutes. We had a bad breaker and the tech asked for an extension cord for a bypass method to get our a/c back on line. We appreciated that since it was over 100 degrees!!!

Villarra installed the HVAC system in our new Elliot home. Purchased in October 2015. They have horrible customer service! They came and did a 90 day checkup since it was a new home. Asked tech if he could also give me a quote to move the AC condenser 12 feet since the builder placed it in a lame spot. The tech was nice and said sure hang on. He went outside for a few minutes and came back in. He said I'm sorry to tell you this but my supervisor wants you to call the office and schedule a new appointment to have someone come out and give you an estimate. I asked why and the tech said so they can charge you for a service call fee. Ok that didn't make many points in my book. I found a local AC contractor who my pool contractor recommended. He came out and said that Villara used aluminum line sets instead of the traditional copper. My contractor told me he could do all the work except join the new copper extension lines to existing aluminum lines that exit the wall of home. He said to call Villara and get an estimate on how much they would charge to solder the two lines. I called Villara and spoke to a friendly customer service rep. When I explained what I wanted to do I was told that I had to speak to a supervisor since I wanted to use a differ contractor to move the unit. I waited and received a call from a different customer service rep. They told me that per a supervisor, the service call would be $500 and possibly more if they needed additional parts. It's sad that they have the market and apparently are the only contractors available to solder aluminum to copper. Yet they are total jerks to deal with when they find out you want to use your own contractor and only use them to solder two fittings. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

This has been one of the worst experiences I have had with a service.
Our heater wasn't working, for which we scheduled an appointment. The first technician that came over was the only bright spot in all of this. He was quick and efficient. He identified a part that wasn't working, found a replacement, drove out and brought from one of their warehouses, installed it, and identified a blockage in the condensation pipe, for which he scheduled a follow up inspection.
The first follow up inspection involved a technician checking the roof for any blockages, not finding any and then rescheduling us for another appointment when they would bring a camera to snake through the pipe to find the affected part.
We got rescheduled twice over two weeks (because the technician and supervisors did not coordinate with the customer service representative who called me to schedule an appointment, and the part kept being unavailable) before they actually made it.
When the technician came over with the camera, he found the block, said they would have to cut into the sheet rock to access and clear the blockage in the pipe, and that he would have to consult the installation manual (Villara unfortunately was the installer of our HVAC). Now here's the kicker. We live in a condominium - depending on where the sheet rock needs to be cut into, we either need permission from our HOA, or our neighbors to even get into the walls for such a repair to be done.
I requested a callback from a supervisor on the week of Dec 20th to discuss whom I should interface with before they carry out their repair, and how the wall they cut into would be repaired post their work. I still haven't heard back.
Finally frustrated, I reached out to them asking for the schematics of the installation so that I can at least hire another company to do the work since Villara clearly isn't interested in helping us out, but I've been getting the runaround on that as well.
All this has been one whole month without heating and the house going into the 50s while Villara has been giving us the runaround. We tried buying a space heater to help and that has at least kept a few rooms warm enough to live/work out of, but I don't know how long Villara expects us to go on like this.
My HVAC system stopped working. Rogelio came in on time and fixed the problem. He is very professional and courteous, explained the problem and options. Custom service representative is also very courteous and call before the appointment to confirm. Highly recommended.

We just purchased a new home that needed service for no heat! Aurelio came in and found a short in the wiring ! He also changed out our thermostat and installed a whole house air filter system! Professional and knowledgeable about there products!

Had an issue with our furnace - it was installed in spring 2018 by Villara in new construction. Paid $85 for assessment and given a quote for an additional $750.00 for repair. This included a parts warranty credit for $243 (total $ 1.078) so parts were paid for. I requested a break down of those package charges multiple times and kept getting the same BS from their customer service and service managers - package pricing is the only way they will quote and no line item info will be provided. Once the one hour repair was supposedly completed, I ended up paying approx. $ 700 for one hour of labor. SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS PER HOUR!! Gotta love their package pricing - icing on the cake is that 30 days after this flagrant rip off, the problem has returned. I'll be calling tomorrow to see if they stand behind the obnoxiously overpriced work. Stay tuned for updates ......
Living in Discovery Bay at The Lakes, the central heating unit stopped working. The house is four years old. A call to Vallara arranged a service call for the very next day. I was given the service person's name. I was told I would receive a phone prior to arrival.
The next day I did receive a phone call, confirming the visit and estimating 30-35 minutes until arrival.
A company van pulled and I met Rogelio and Renato. They removed shoes and wore booties while inside. I explained the problem and they asked for access to the attic and brought a ladder. They went up and reviewed the issue, spent just over an hour checking the system, and reported a minor air restriction had caused the unit to shut off. They repaired the air flow issue, showed me how to handle the same issue in the future, and cleaned up after themselves before leaving. They offered to answer questions and spent several minutes explaining the details of the system.
Both were polite and professional throughout. The total charge was the minimum service call amount, quoted at the time of the reservation.
I was very pleased with the prompt visit, accurate assessment and repair and the modest price. I highly recommend Vallara and the recently expanded service department.
Was contacted by villara and appointment was rescheduled and they did show up on time. Was rescheduled again due to roofers needed.
Excellent customer service! I needed an AC unit moved for a concrete pour. Aurelio was amazing. He worked around the schedule of the concrete installer and insured the unit was reconnected by 7:30a before it got hot. He also went above and beyond by checking the heater and all the filters while he was here. Very impressed!
Our 2.5 year old home had a Goodman AC system installed by this company. We've had nothing but issues because of their terrible installation. Tech's that they've sent out have been clueless. Even though most of this faulty work was covered under warranty, I didn't even bother to rely on them to fix their horrible work.

My AC system had Freon leak issue during this historical extreme heat days. When I called in the morning, they immediately sent a technician to come in and check. Since the issue is not an easy one that can be quickly fixed, he helped to refill Freon to rescue me from miserable life. Then 2 days later, the supervisor Paul came in early morning and did a very efficient and professional jobs on sealing all the leaks and clean up everything after the job is done. Everyone from this company is nice and helpful. I would recommend them to my friends and neighbors who facing AC problems.
The owner responded and offered a reasonable and acceptable response to my negative review and graciously offered to remedy the situation created by the previous technician. Landon's response speaks very well for Villara going forward. He was forthcoming and inspired confidence in the future activities of his company. We will continue to count on Villara to service our Smartvent.
A technician came out this morning and instantly tried pushing us to buy unnecessary equipment costing over 3K. After my husband clearly stated we just wanted an estimate, the tech continued to have my husband sign his iPad telling my hubby he was just signing estimate and later we received a signed invoice!! This guy was super dishonest and trying to get over on us. We do not want him ever in this house again.
Had numerous issues with our heater / furnace upon first moving in. Charles, Gabe and Aurelio worked hard to replace the furnace and resolve the issue(s) - haven't had issues with it since.
I am part of the comfort club, and have Aurelio noted as my go-to person as he is extremely professional, personable, quick and resolution-focused. He moved our AC unit some months ago, and we have no complaints. Vent fell out of the bathroom ceiling (have no idea how), and he squeezed us in (and quickly fixed it) the same day I contacted him. He even went the extra step, and contacted his supervisor to have our toilet lid replaced as the fallen vent dented and chipped it.
Any issues we experienced with our Villara HVAC system were addressed promptly by the appropriate people.
Original installer for my house five years ago. They took care of the suction connector that was faulty. Only problem was during the heat wave they were closed.
Our tech Mufasa was knowledgeable and helpful. I appreciate his transparency and help. We will definitely use Villara services again.
Had Aurelio from Villara out this morning to check out our heater do to sometimes kicking on and sometimes not, he was very professional and quick in the performance of his work.

JR. One of the service techs asked me if I wanted a surge protector on my A/C unit.. he recommended it because my neighbor has an electric car that is charged daily. And that It could be the reason my capacitor went bad...the part he installed cost 300.00 dollars to install. I found the same part for 75.00 dollars on Amazon..so he charged me 225.00 to install it which took him 10 minutes...be careful of their selling techniques
Being the hottest day of the week at 106°, Aurelio is a godsend! He showed up to troubleshoot the problem and found the issue within the first few minutes of opening the unit. You can tell a person's experience when he can find the problem without scratching his head or breaking a sweat. Highly professional, experienced and fast! If you run into any HVAC problems, DO NOT HESITATE to give these guys a call. Ask for Aurelio cause he knows his stuff!
I want to thank Villara for finding and resolving an issue I'd had with my home's AC since I purchased it new 5 years ago. Each summer we'd have the same issue, AC running non-stop but would never cool. I reached out to Villara and was put in contact with Alicia. She couldn't have been more personable, friendly, communicative, and understanding. She worked with my schedule and got someone out quickly. Paul was the technician that arrived on site. Within a short time, Paul located and resolved this nearly 5 year old issue! He was super friendly, exactly on time, and left us with a cool home. Fast forward a couple of months and the AC is still blowing cold, even during this heat wave. We recently had an ultra-violet light filter installed in our air conditioning system. We have a great filter, but I've got asthma and my allergies have been horrible. Research indicated this light was the cure for indoor air quality woes. The light kills bacteria, molds and mites. So, we've had the system for about 3 months now and I'm amazed. The installer was very professional and cleaned up after himself. I also appreciated the phone call letting us know when he'd be there too. The unit has made an incredible difference. I am breathing so much better now. When we cook fish or anything with a strong odor, those smells are removed quickly from our home. The dust has almost been eliminated. Unfortunately, I'm still sneezing! Great service with great products.

Very quick and reliable service, I've had them visit me twice now since purchasing my home. They came out the same day I called and saved me from a brutal heatwave! Most recently, service tech Mustafa Nawrooz repaired my AC unit that was not cooling. He did a great job at explaining everything he was doing and why it was important to keep up with the maintenance on my system. As a new homeowner, I really appreciated this, because it's easy to disregard these things (especially on a new build, mine is only two years old). I'm planning to upgrade my membership plan just for that additional sense of security. I am so grateful that my family will not have to struggle through this 112 degree Sacramento heat.

Did not have the best experience at first with Villara having me wait 9 hours for the AC tech to get to my house at 9:30pm to try and fix my system durning a heat wave. I called in and talked to a manager and they were very understanding of my frustration. The next day they made it up and came to my house first thing in the morning and fixed the issue free of charge. Happy with the end result of everything and appreciate the help.

We had Villara out to do our Yearly service for our AC and Heat. Aurelio came out and was extremely professional. We needed a earlier time and he accommodated us. He changed out warn out parts and cleaned and switch out filters inside. He suggested a kicker that would help elongated the life of out compressor. He was never pushy and super helpful. We had a bug issue from the vent and Aurelio solved it. He alone deserves the 5 stars. We brought this bug issue to the company in the past but was dismissed. Aurelio really made us feel better about the problems we had. We totally appreciate him. Thank you.

Not a reputable company at all. Installed our new furnace in a new home less than 3 years ago. Furnace went out within two years and came to replace it. Was a faulty heat exchanger which cost us $2,000 to replace a $300 part in addition to a service call to tell us about the heat exchanger for an additional $500. Neighbor noticed smoking from our exhaust pipe on the roof right after the fix and found that rodents-which were there during the service call- had dropped acorns into the vent onto the heater and were cooking on the heater. Another call, for $1500 , to clean out the acorns and put some mesh wiring over the vent. The repairman noted that the rodents had been up in the attic before, however it wasn't covered in the repair previously.
Today had to have Kamps Propane out because we smelled a propane leak. They discovered that the valve to the heater was leaking-another faulty installation job, but now Villara won't ever service our community. Had to look for another furnace company to fix the problem but they are scheduled out till May. Don't need the heater right now but stay away from this company

River Islands Lathrop residents: If your Villara Smart Vent (aka whole house fan, damper) ever has an issue, call Villara and ask for Aurelio. Villara is based out of Sacramento, but Aurelio's service area is Lathrop, Manteca and the surrounding areas.
I initially spoke with Gwen and she was really kind and helpful! She wanted to make sure that I had already tried to reset the system first before she made my service call appointment. Apparently, resetting the system can solve the issue. Our vent damper error was, Damper did not CLOSE Call for Service.
I was offered an appointment as soon as the next day, but opted for a different day due to our work schedule. On the day of our appointment, Aurelio called me within our appointment window time to let me know that he was on his way. He arrived with his colleague, Eddie, and they troubleshot the system and found that the communication wire was bad. They quickly fixed the issue and even checked out our A/C and heating system as yearly maintenance. They also installed a screen for the huge vent we have in our loft to prevent bugs from coming in. Since then, I have seen fewer bugs in the house (thanks for recommending it, Aurelio!).
Overall, awesome service thanks to Aurelio, Eddie and Gwen!
